  1. This. Rebecca is a smart woman, a boss bitch, and yet she willingly goes to the home of a complete stranger of a man and takes a shower, hangs out, then sleeps over. In this climate? Not at all smart or safe. She could've gotten a towel from Mr. Dutch to dry off/keep warm, used his phone to call for transportation back to her hotel, and be on her merry way. And from there maybe they meet for coffee or something. This meet-cute was so forced in a worse-than-Hallmark way (because even a Hallmark movie has some exposition and build up) that it was hard to enjoy. And don't get me started on Keeley... Needless to say, I'm so far disappointed in the stories for the women this season. YMMV However, the night was delightful for the guys. Higgins slapping the (jazz) base, Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike, the team pillow fight, Trent and Colin, Ted at the American restaurant (please tell me that's not for real! lol), Van Gogh!
  2. Halfway through the final season, Jamie and Roy are the best thing about it for me. The Rebecca/Boat Man stuff could not be more heavy-handed. Can we stop with these side plots with new characters, already? There are only six episodes left.
  3. Miss Congeniality Malaysia Babydoll Foxx is the season 16 superior big queen, and Mistress goes home empty handed. We love to see it! Congrats to Sasha. She was the only other choice if not Anetra. (but I do think Sasha has some unfair advantages) I've never been more happy for a Drag Race season to be over.
  4. The only thing I don't particularly like about the show is the will they-won't they anvil for Todd and Susan. I don't think there's much chemistry there or that they make a good match. I wish the show would let that go.
  5. Marysol is half right. Leah is a bummer… but it's not because she doesn't drink alcohol.
  6. Shonda was having issues with the network/studio for awhile, she had had one foot out the door but was checked out once Scandal ended. As silly as it seems, what pushed Shonda over the edge was: She went to Disney with her kids and had called an exec to get an extra park pass for her sister. The executives denied her simple request (because what's one pass for your top show creator?), and especially after all of the money Shonda has made for the network/studio, it rubbed her the wrong way. And I don't blame her. You'd think Disney would've rolled out the red carpet wherever Shonda went. She ran an entire night of television for them. At that point, Shonda didn't need Disney/ABC anymore. So she took her talents to Netflix where she had more creative freedom and they paid her $100 million. Shonda's still the show creator and executive producer, so she still makes money off of Grey's. But this stopped being her show a long time ago. The majority of current characters aren't even hers. Grey's is still on because it's an easy money-maker for Disney/ABC. Scandal got to end on Shonda/the show's terms. Not so much for Grey's Anatomy. I, personally, think that's unfortunate.
  7. That part! Margaret was the one who dug up the rumor that Evan cheated on Jackie, but who was everyone mad at? Teresa. Melissa, Jackie and Co. are mad at the messenger but have none of that energy for the actual source - their friend Margaret. It must be true that they are afraid of Margaret and what she knows. But how sad to give someone that power over you. And it makes them look like hypocrites.
  8. I'm glad they were able to avoid having Nell tell Cricket (or anyone) that she can see ghosts.
  9. I cheered when the model callously ditched Nate, but got annoyed when the waitress all of a sudden started being nice to/liking him. I want nothing good for Nathan Shelley, ever. I liked Ted's speech at the end. And that's about it. I echo the sentiment that something feels off this season. Even with the longer episodes, I feel like so far a lot of time has been filler/wasted. There are only seven episodes left. Barbara is the only good thing to come out of Keeley's side plot.
  10. Melissa was adamant about not being in the wedding, her and Joe don't end up going - and something tells me that by this point in the timeline, the Gorgas had already made the decision not to go... so shut the fuck up about it, already! Her and Joe really do rely on Teresa for a storyline. If they're not complaining about something to do with her, then they have nothing. Get a hobby! And FWIW, as Joe's wife, Melissa is a family obligation to Teresa. All direct in-laws are. It is no different when Melissa, or was it one of Melissa's sisters?, said that Teresa was invited to the christening way back when on a technicality (or whatever word was used). A sibling's spouse gets the invite whether we like it or not. But they tried to make it an issue. Let's talk about all the dirt Margaret has on everyone! Why is no one confronting her about digging up dirt on the girls? Why has no one brought up that she told Laura about Melissa allegedly making out with another guy? There is actual real tea hanging over their heads for Housewives drama, but instead we're beating the Teresa vs Gorgas horse to death.
  11. This would be excellent! Enough RHONY to have some fun without having to slog through a whole season (I'm starting to think most franchises would benefit from shorter/tighter seasons). And please leave Leah and Eboni home.
  12. Shut up, Leah! All she does is complain and overshare her bodily functions and fluids. I've never liked Candiace on Potomac, so it tracks that she'd befriend Leah. Birds of a feather. Porsha's not passive aggressive and petty. She's up front and shady to your face. If she doesn't want to tag someone on her own social media, she doesn't have to. Calling it "cyber bullying" is the reach of all reaches. Sweet Pepsi deserves an all-expense paid vacation to the destination of his choice after wrangling the Housewives.
  13. It is an insult to Anetra and Sasha's charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent that Mistress and Luxx floated to the finals. I can't wait for this season to be over.
  14. Enough about Heather's black eye, already! If it was Jen, it most likely was an accident because they're friends and were having a rowdy drunk night. And because it happened off camera, it's within Heather's right not to want to talk about it. If anything, she's probably embarrassed about how it happened. Candiace….Leah….neither of you are victims.
  15. Speaking of unethical, Rebecca and Sam. I thought that was put to rest and will be very disappointed if it's reignited. Loved Roy's "Fuck yeah, Princess Diaries!" and Jamie schooling him on prima donna.
  16. If it mattered that much to Zach to tell Kaity that he slept with Gabi, then he could have waited until they were in the Fantasy Suite when the cameras were off and told her then. Thereby clearing his conscience but also not outing Gabi on television. Or, you know, just not have had sex with Gabi. But let's not forget that when Zach told Gabi about no sex, she said in her talking head that "we'll see" - so it's not like she honored his boundaries, either. Two to tango and all that.
  17. Loosey did not deserve to be in the bottom, let alone go home. Rigga Morris!
  18. The pool float blowing over the edge of the pool into the abyss, and Heather talking to herself at the table, were hilarious. Porsha clocked Leah when she said Leah wants to shift attention to herself and play victim. Imagine if Sonja was the RHONY representative, instead?
  19. This. I saw a clip online and watched that part back, and Addison actually doesn't get touched by the car. She maaaaaaaaybe get's clipped on her hand that's flailing back, but other than that she essentially trips and falls. Of course, we're meant to believe otherwise. Upthread I said the pregnant doctor is going to die, but I think she may actually survive but her baby won't. Grey's won't let the opportunity pass to have anti-abortionists kill an unborn child to highlight the hypocrisy.
  20. How dare they put even a scratch on Addison Forbes Montgomery Reilly! Addison will survive. The pregnant trainee won't, though. And it will highlight the irony how anti-abortion people killed a pregnant woman.
  21. Welcome back, Porsha! Leah got the smallest room with no view. The "worst" room for the worst Housewife.
  22. Clarity on Luis' pajama comment in the promo: I think Luis is a bit of a dope, but that he means well for the most part. I think some things he says come off the wrong way or are misinterpreted, and he inserts himself when it isn't needed (see: talking to Donna Marco). Whatever therapy he's done and "healing man" retreats he's been to are what likely guide his behavior in his attempt to keep peace and mend fences. The thing is, I don't know that he understands how deep Teresa vs The Gorgas goes. Clearly, Teresa and Melissa don't like each other and probably never have, that is mutual and goes both ways. I do think Teresa loves her brother, and I think she blames Melissa for a lot of his actions so she wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think Joe is jealous of Teresa and her success, not to mention his daddy issues surrounding the fact that Nonno appeared to hold Juicy Joe to a higher regard than his own son (Juicy also didn't lose Nonno's house that was previously paid off, so that might have something to do with it). Hate her or love her, Teresa is RHONJ. (if she wasn't, Joe and Melissa wouldn't constantly use her for a storyline.)
  23. Adriana's letter was so stupid but so funny. Marysol's liver is struggling. She has a drinking problem and everyone on those couches know it. Nicole and Julia are right, though. The timing could not have been worse. Adriana just doesn't know how to read a room. Miami is currently the most solid HW franchise. Nicole was MVP, hoping for a happy-Lisa resurgence in season 6 and a FT mojito promotion for Adriana.
  24. That's really shitty if they kill off Epiphany. They could give the character a happy ending at least. The reality of her absence is sad enough.
