  1. Derek and Addison didn't come to Seattle until they were already department heads. They went to medical school in NY and Richard taught them over there. There's no way Addison has anything to do with Simone's mom unless there is a retcon.
  2. Schmitt got chubby. (not judging, just saying.) You know the hospital is down bad when he's the only choice for Chief Resident. How far the prestige of that title has fallen. Nick is still boring. Meredith is more interesting outside of that sorry excuse for a relationship. YMMV Intern Simone's running-around-the-hospital schtick got old real fast. I don't hate that Lucas is a Shepherd. My guess is he's the son of either Nancy or Kathleen. I like Jo's idea of black scrubs for OB in protest to what's happening with Roe v Wade and women's rights. With all of the aesthetic upgrades they've given the hospital throughout the years, couldn't they have given these new interns a place to convene and commiserate that isn't the basement? Call me a curmudgeon, but can't one thing be sacred and special and remain exclusive to MAGIC? This one episode was better than the entirety of season 18. Brownie points for that.
  3. No need for anyone to get too excited about Kyle "seeing the light" with her toxic friends. Judging by the below instagram exchange, the Richards sisters are still on the outs. And of course the Faux Force reassemble like a persistent rash.
  4. Kathy Hilton saying what needs to be said. Finally!!!
  5. IMO, the "Begin Again" press and marketing with the five brand new interns, and the push to put these new faces/characters out there, is reading as a soft reboot. It's like tptb at Grey's won't come out and say it's a reboot, but what they are clearly doing is setting up for when - not if - Ellen leaves. Instead of ending this once great series with any shred of goodwill and dignity, they are continuing to bleed it dry. It's already a different show, they could've done a medical spin-off, but the time for any worthy ending has long since passed. JMO
  6. Something tells me Brandon and Serene linked up in some capacity before Paradise. You don't go zero to kissing that quickly. And the way they were looking at each other, there was a familiar energy. They're still cute, though. Nothing is real on reality shows. lol
  7. Unpopular opinion: trained dancers/ringers like Charli aren't fun to watch. Might as well watch two pros dance. I like seeing the "stars" make improvements every week and see the work they put in. It's one thing to have charismatic entertainers (like Wayne Brady and Shangela) who do a good job and make it look good despite not being classically trained, it's another to have the wet mop ringers (like non-star Charli) who float in and nail it and have the judges squirm to find critiques to be fair.
  8. This season was so boring. And there was no need for a 3-part finale. You really don't know what you've got until it's gone... I miss Nene, Porsha, and even Cynthia now more than ever. (I say "and even Cynthia" because Cynthia was always seen as the more lowkey/boring of the old crew, but she is still 10x more interesting than most of the current RHOA cast).
  9. The D'Amelio's gotta go. The daughter is a ringer and neither are stars. There are a good amount of actual stars that could take this to the final, and I would hate to see any of them go over a social media influencer and her mom. JMO
  10. Gabby killed it tonight on Dancing With the Stars.
  11. A year after their experience in the pods, I don't get an ounce of romantic chemistry between Shaina and Shayne. They do have compatible energies, but it has morphed into friend vibes. Shaina looks sincerely happy and settled with her fiancé-now-husband. It is kind of weird that Natalie is still hung up on this, and I feel like she's wanting to put the blame on the destruction of her and Shayne's relationship on Shaina because it's easier than taking accountability and owning up to the fact that her (Natalie) and Shayne were not a good fit all around. Sal is shady and Mallory dodged a bullet. I also don't know why production focused so much on Sal's girlfriend who was so obviously trying too hard in front of the cameras. I feel like Deepti and Kyle were putting on for the show with their "hesitancy" to date. It is a shame that we never got to see their time together in the pods during season 2 since apparently they built a strong connection there. Yikes for Danielle & Nick and Jarrette & Iyanna. Don't think anyone is really surprised, though.
  12. Ugh. You know, there was always a vibe about Erich that I didn't like. I thought maybe I was letting the mullet get in the way (lol). This season is a big flop. 2 Bachelorettes and no successful relationship after the fact. (engagement or no engagement) Even if Gabby and Erich are somehow still dating, that he reached out to his ex after filming is gross.
  13. "There's obviously a double standard." Garcelle telling us what we already know, but I appreciate her saying it out loud.
  14. "I'm not coming out of this not engaged." Well, Rachel, you're going to come out of this engaged and then single. Watching Rachel watch Aven with her family and friends, I think she knows she chose wrong. When ones main goal is to get engaged at F1 come hell or high-water, that's a recipe for disaster.
  15. Phenomenal! So happy for her and Quinta. Fingers crossed for a future Best Comedy win.
  16. Oooh, juicy! Very assholey to dump your fiancee over the phone, at least he's regrettable about that. I think a lot of us saw the red flags with Michelle and Nayte throughout the season, and that Michelle chose him as F1 mostly due to passionate/physical attraction. The fact that they were already having big arguments in January, not long after their season wrapped, is already not a good sign. Michelle has changed since the show/15 minutes of fame. Didn't she quit teaching? They've both benefitted off of this experience with opportunities, social media followers (how dumb that we live in a world where something so trivial like this now equals "success"), and money. If Michelle really wanted something real, she would've picked Brandon.
  17. "Felt uncomfortable" is code for I didn't want to stay at the same house with the opposition. Dorito only wanted to stay at the fancy rental in the first place because she wanted a nice room/didn't want to get stuck with the bunk beds. In reality, Kathy should've stayed in the rental with the sane bunch and Dorito with her FF bitches at Kyle's, but Kyle only has so many suitable rooms. For if this was really about Dorito's comfort in an emotional sense, why would she want to stay in close proximity to the horrendous lip-licker who reeks of negativity? It was all about optics for Dorito. She may be the most subdued of her crew, but she's not better. She's just a bitch that moves in a bit more silence but masks it as trying to save face. Honestly, the best thing about Dorito is her children.
  18. Apologies if this has already been discussed, admittedly I'm too lazy to go through the thread right now... But can someone clarify to me the importance of Kathy and the Casa Del Sol tequila? As far as I know, that brand is owned by Eva Longoria. Does Kathy have a vested connection to the business, or is it that she just really likes it and wanted to share it with the other women? I see a lot of talk on social media this morning about the tequilas (Casa Del Sol vs Kendal Jenner's 818) and Kathy drama and I'm lost. lol In other news, Kyle is such a shitty sister. It's no wonder why both Kathy and Kim have had multiple falling-outs with her.
  19. The lengths Krista is going to to keep Amelia and Link, who were delightful together until they imploded for no reason, apart. Not that Attending/Resident relationships aren't the norm around Seattle Grace Mercy West Grey Sloan Memorial, but from the preview they are essentially ripping off Meredith and Derek with Link and new girl.
  20. Kate Walsh's Addison Returns to GREY'S ANATOMY Season 19 in Recurring Role
  21. Thanks for sharing. Of course Rachel and Tino don't last. Rachel ignored every red flag because she had him at #1 right after limo introductions when she said he was her type. It was always Tino's "game" to lose. She could've had Zach (who I thought she seemed much more compatible with), or sweet Aven (who I still feel like I don't know much about). Nice that Gabby and Erich are still together, but it was okay to not have an engagement with him but not Jason? lol This season can't end soon enough.
  22. But fast forward to Aspen and Dorit sits there silently, nodding her head during Diana's lip-licking tirade, and Kyle screams at Sutton not to be dramatic and tell the truth (about what, I don't even know anymore) without allowing Sutton to speak (gaslight much?). In the car, those phonies were all about not wanting to gang up on Sutton and make her feel like she's being attacked, and that's exactly what ended up happening to Sutton. These two are no better than their groupmates.
