  1. GMAFB Luann. She knows who Ramona is, how Ramona is, has been on the Ramona-coaster for over a decade. Now that she's around new blood getting new attention, she wants to act offended. Look, Ramona is no picnic, definitely not perfect, and has many problematic moments. But lets not act like we all don't already know how Ramona operates. At the end of the day, I think we can all agree that Ramona just wants to have a good time and flirt. She sticks her foot in her mouth, she says the wrong thing, she reacts before she thinks...Not an excuse, but she is a woman of a different generation from the rest on this trip (save for Lu). And there has been a target on Ramona's back since minute one. Again, some stuff warranted but you can see that Ramona is trying and she even admits wanting to remove herself because she keeps sticking her foot in her mouth. I do think some of these women are approaching Ramona with a lens of ageism. And FWIW, what Ramona said about Luann and Tom was 5000% true. Luann is projecting because she still feels embarrassed by her stupidity. Everyone who watched RHONY saw it. As for KEN, miserable bitch. No real friends. Cynthia may be a bit over-sensitive, but Kenya has definitely boxed her out on this trip. Kenya wants the attention from the new girls because they, aside from Ramona, will let her bullshit slide. Cynthia knows too much about Kenya, so to speak, so Kenya can't play the victim with her. And since Cynthia and Kenya have an established relationship, Cynthia wrongly thought that she'd at least have Kenya as a source of comfort on this trip. I've liked Teresa the best on this trip. She's been very lowkey and chill, but I do wonder if she'd have more fun or be more outgoing if Melissa wasn't there. lol YMMV
  2. Clayton is a fucking asshole. The end.
  3. Never mind. This show has become so bad, I don't even care about my own thoughts on it.
  4. Yes! Apparently Deepti and Kyle had a big connection and she was struggling to pick between him and Shake… however, I don't recall seeing them interacting in the pods save for maybe the very first episode. Producers and editors showed what they wanted to show to build storylines, but there was so much more going on that could've been even more interesting and entertaining.
  5. I noticed that, too. Here's the thing about reality tv: it is over-produced and there is not a lot of reality to it.
  6. No. Let Samantha continue to live her best life in London and keep her out of this mess.
  7. Natalie and Deepti are two smart women who, thankfully, know their worth. I can only hope that their parents knew ahead of time that they were going to say 'No' and that they showed up to the ceremony anyway to fulfill tv obligations. I just don't think the parents should have to be hit with these surprises if the bride/groom know their answer going in. (I can't help it, I really developed a soft spot for Deepti and Shake's parents - their moms especially, Natalie's parents and Shayne's mom.) Ukulele Sal was there to promote his music, and you can't convince me otherwise. Best wishes to Nick & Danielle and Jarrette & Iyanna.
  8. Schmidt is a bumbling idiot and is not fit to be a surgeon. What the show thinks is endearing is actually really really annoying. In season 13, Webber was against The Minnick Method which was having the residents fly solo. DO THE WRITERS NOT WATCH THEIR OWN SHOW? STFU Amelia. STFU Owen. If new era Grey's has done anything right, it's been wasting character potential. Fare thee well, Dr. Cormac Hayes. I can't believe there is at least one more season of this 💩. I know the money is great, Ellen, but have mercy! * *and before you say "jUsT sTOp WaTChInG!", I've been on this ride for 18 seasons. I wish I could.
  9. I did not see myself rooting for Shayne and Natalie, but here I am. I'm only at the part where the ladies are dress shopping, but I love that Natalie invited Shayne's mom to be a part of that. And their two moms meeting was cute.
  10. Candace Bushnell and Darren Star > Michael Patrick King and Sarah Jessica Parker

    S01:E13 2022

It's over. She said that she realized she didn't want to have a baby and knew he did, and while he was okay with her decision, ultimately they want different things. Then she flashed her hand with no ring on her finger. Everything was wrapped up nicely and the show feels like one-and-done. I had fun, but I also really missed Eve/Brianna.
  12. They were the only part of this show that I truly enjoyed. I had to force myself to finish this. Knowing it was a one-and-done limited series helped me push through.
  13. To be fair, there are plenty of movies and tv shows that have less attractive men with hot women who are out of their league. It's nice to see it go the other way around for a change. Get yours, Dana Sue!
  14. This would be great. Seema, LTW, and Nya part of Carrie, Charlotte, and Anthony's group. Miranda can stay in LA with her fantasy rom-com. As it was, her story sucked up most of the screen time and LTW and Nya were barely fleshed out characters. *ETA: I added Anthony because he was the best part and most true to character out of the originals.
  15. No one was speculating Meredith's father's death. They were speculating the timing of the memorial. There is a difference. And with Meredith giving two of the women different days/times of said memorial, and her conveniently not being on the bus when authorities came for Jen, yeah... it's worth questioning. Meredith overreacting and refusing to answer makes her look like she's lying.
  16. Yeah, I thought that was a cute little cameo.
  17. Unpopular opinion: I enjoy Maddie and Cal together and I'm good seeing them happy, stable, and drama-free for the most part. If that's boring, sign me up! And it dawned on me that if they ever get married, and if Maddie changes her name, she'll be Maddie Maddox. lol I loved that they gave Heather Heady opportunity to sing this season. Her voice is amazing. I don't think Helen is going to accept Ryan's proposal. I also think Helen would be the better choice to run for mayor than Maddie. Didn't they say you typically have to have a law degree? Perhaps the woman who slashed Dana Sue's tires is the woman Ronnie slept with. It's trending #1 on Netflix, I think it's looking good for a season 3.
  18. This episode would have been the perfect opportunity to shuffle Noreen (Jamie Lynn!) off of this show, and I don't understand why tptb at Sweet Magnolias and Netflix are insistent on keeping her around. It's gross what her and her family did to Britney.
  19. I enjoy this show for what it is, but the school board and townsfolk being up in arms that Coach Cal didn't win a state championship is so ridiculous. They made it to state, losing is disappointing but getting that far is something to be proud of.
  20. The thing about living your truth is that there is a very fine line between that and reality, and often times that line can get blurred if you’re not tapped into reality. For instance, My Truth: I’m a millionaire. THE Truth (my bank account): No I’m not. These little catchphrases society, and in particular - social media, has come up with to be “cute” have the tendency to get twisted. Living authentically and being yourself, being honest, and doing your best in the world is what living your truth is supposed to be generalizing. But it’s been turned into an excuse for selfish and ego-driven behavior. Case in point, Miranda.
  21. That's odd, because in this article from December Sara says: Michael Patrick King was very clear with me that this would be a collaborative process, and that my ideas and thoughts were welcome. If that is the case, why wouldn't there be discussion and course-correction if there were issues with the character during production? Filming wrapped before the show aired, perhaps actors - like producers and writers - start to backpedal once there's criticism.
  22. Ruh roh. I didn't watch the documentary, but for those who did, is this true?
  23. A hot-for-teacher storyline between Miranda and Nya would've been more organic and probably better executed. For all we know, there wouldn't have been an Andre and IVF storyline and instead Professor Wallace could've been a single lesbian or bisexual. And instead of intelligent Miranda doing a 180 and turning into a Karen with her blunders, her and Nya may have connected on an intellectual level as they would have that in common. Miranda's the oldest one in the class, first to answer all the questions, visit's during office hours, they strike up a rapport... this is a story that would have made sense and may have highlighted the disconnect between Miranda and Steve vs. Miranda and Professor because of certain commonalities. 10 episodes and I see no reason why Che is a better match for Miranda than Steve. The whole thing was a vanity project for Cynthia.
  24. Sounds like someone is very aware and doesn't like that a Samantha Jones return would steal all of the spotlight. Not to worry, SJP, Kim has been very clear about being done with Samantha Jones. She made the right call in avoiding this And Just Like That mess.
  25. I will not be gaslighted (gaslit?) by HBO, MPK, the writers or cast about the validity of my - or anyone's - criticism and dislike for this abysmal revival. It was poorly conceived, start to finish.
