  1. She slept with Mark when she visited from Private Practice, forget the season. But I think the thing about Amelia is, this relationship with Kai is the third "big" possibly forever relationship set up for Amelia in like five seasons. First it was Owen, they got married even! Then she got a tumor and that was supposed to wave away all of her choices up to that point. Then Link, which IMO was Amelia at her best. They even had a kid together, were basically setup as forever until this thing with Kai came out of nowhere. Now boring Kai from MN who can't sleep and supposedly Amelia feels like herself or whatever her monologue to April was about. I don't know. I stopped caring. I guess it was one thing for them to try and throw away potentials for Meredith after Derek's death, but those relationships never took the big leaps that Amelia's have. I feel like these writers don't know what to do with Amelia.
  2. I loved their reactions to Vanna White on the runway. So pure. I'm really enjoying this season. It's fun, the queens are fierce, and this is like a breath of fresh air from the tediousness that was season 14.
  3. This. I rather Link and Jo remain good friends and Link and Amelia reunite. Kai's boring and can go back to MN and the show can instead bring on a male doctor (surgical doctor, not like biologist Todd) who can be a real love interest for Jo, and try to build that relationship nicely instead of rushing some deep connection like they did with Amelia and Kai. But I have a feeling that Link and Jo are still on the table and that they'll instead try to build off of their friendship in season 19, since Amelia is off the market again because Kai "can't sleep" (terrible acting, btw!). As for Addison, I'd trade her for everyone but Bailey, Richard, and Meredith. Just have the four of them running the show with random no-name, two-lined doctors and nurses in the background. lol I know we've joked about St. Meredith and Meredith being The Sun (worst thing Cristina has ever said!) around here, but I feel like last night in particular they went overboard with the whole Meredith-being-the-center-of-the-Universe schtick. Blake lady was all "Meredith Grey is leaving? Shut it down!" Jackson was like "you can't leave, you're YOU and your name is on the hospital" - knowing damn well that the Grey in Grey Sloan is in tribute to Lexie, but I digress. At least Meredith pointed that out. But still... We get it, show. It's all about Meredith. The show was so much better when it was a cast of well-rounded characters that sometimes even eclipsed The Sun but all was well. I wonder if the flagellation celebration of the great Meredith Grey is in Ellen's contract?
  4. Good to see April and Jackson again, and I like that "Japril" are officially back together. I wasn't much a fan of theirs one way or the other during Grey's heyday, but in comparison to the past few seasons, I welcome any and all nostalgia from the good ol' days. I celebrate the closing of the residency program. This crop of residents are absolute garbage and have no business being doctors. I know this won't stick, but I'd be perfectly content with never seeing any of them again. I can't decide if season 18 was a bad as season 13.
  5. Garcelle, Crystal, Sutton >>>>>>>>> Fox Force Flops Every season they try to take someone down. So transparent. They were emboldened after they ganged up on LVP. Then it was Denise. They tried, and quickly failed, with Garcelle. And now the target is Sutton. Fucking harpies.
  6. Overall, a sweet ending. It was about the little moments. And I so appreciate tptb having the ending in mind and filming some bits so far in advance and knowing where and how it all would fit. It wasn't lazy storytelling, that's for sure. However, I do wish there was more present-day Kevin and Kate, at least split that time evenly with Randall. I guess after 6 seasons, I shouldn't be surprised that Randall gets most of the attention, but this is it for This Is Us. Even in the silent group moments, the camera would focus mostly on Randall. I liked the reveal that the hand squeeze (that I still think should've been with Kate who was running late!) was in response to Jack squeezing her hand before Rebecca let go.
  7. I do hope we get one more "Big Three" chant in the finale.
  8. Incredible! And Trinity-as-Leslie's little quip at the end... hit on so many levels!
  9. Sutton with the literal receipts and Garcelle with the assist! The truth always wins out. And all Rinna does is shrug her shoulders after being caught in her lie. What an asshole. There is no low the Fox Force Flops won't go to justify each others heinous behavior. This may sound terrible, but I hope the below gossip/rumor is true and that it is in fact Mauricio and Dorit that are having an affair. Blow that group up!
  10. My one nitpick: It should've been Kate who got the hand squeeze from Rebecca. Kate barely got a few words in, and as usual Randall gets the final word. The boys were with her all day/night. Kate had just gotten there, she should have been the one to have that final moment. Rebecca was waiting for her, after all.
  11. This Is Us better get EMMY love this year. Especially Mandy Moore. Network TV has turned into the bastard child - at least for dramas - when it comes to awards, but This Is Us has fired on all cylinders. And Mandy Moore's performance as Rebecca, not just tonight but throughout the series, has been wonderful. What a show. I love good, well-thought-out, well-acted, well-produced shows that are given enough time to have a proper ending. This episode was beautiful.
  12. It's the show's way of trying to show favor for Amelia, Kai, and Amelia/Kai. If they character-assassinate Link, then maybe we'll all forget how pleasant he and Amelia were as a couple (IMO, they were the best pairing Grey's had since this new regime took over). Tptb want us to forget that they ruined a good couple for no reason. And it appears that it's popular on social media (Twitter) to hate Link now, even though he hasn't really done anything wrong. Do I really care about any of this? Not particularly. But I did find Link and Amelia an enjoyable bright spot during this Grey's slump. I never cared for Amelia, but her relationship with Link made her likable to me. Now, I'm right back to disliking her and I'm going to continue to like Link out of spite towards the writers' manipulation.
  13. I honestly don't care what happens to Catherine. I love Debbie Allen and respect her career, but I always hated how they pushed Adele Weber (and the great Loretta Devine) out to make space for Catherine Avery. I know Ellis is Richard's #1 gal, because everything involving The Sun is the be-all-to-end-all, but Adele was my favorite Richard wife. She put up with all of his shit, his Ellis shit especially, and I just liked them together. Anyway, gross of the show to blow up Richard's sobriety with this oopsie for laughs all to do a "shocking" reveal that Catherine's cancer came back (the cancer storyline that ended up being based off of one of Grey's writer Elisabeth Finch's many lies).
  14. Dorito's robbery is about as real as Erika's innocence. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
  15. Great, they can all stay home for 4. But especially the winners.
  16. I hope Cynthia is invited back. Bummed that she was out so soon. Also, I better not see Jonna on All Stars 4. Three in a row is enough. Derrick, too... but I can't remember if he was on 2.
  17. Sophie and Kevin may have not been together for 20 years in the middle there, on and off for some of it, but Sophie was around the Pearson's first. Before Beth, before Jack died. She was around when Jack died, saw first hand how the family dealt with it. Say what you will about her, but she is not a newbie.
  18. Also, Los Angeles is stupid expensive. They'll get more bang for their buck in Pennsylvania.
  19. Justin Chambers is fantastic as Brando. I can't wait to see more of him as the series progresses. Francoise was getting annoying. She has the Chateau and her own businesses, let Ruddy do his thing. The Godfather is important to him and she knows it. Just because they were a couple doesn't mean they had to do everything together. I'm glad she's out of the picture, at least for now.
  20. Not even the great Addison Montgomery can save this dumpster fire.
  21. I had to go look up Jillian to see what you were talking about because I nearly forgot about her. Aww, man, why'd she do that to her face? She looked fine. I thought she was cute and I always liked her down-to-earth vibe as Bachelorette. Damn shame. Society is hard on women and some internalize it and over do it.
  22. Michael Patrick King is garbage and he, SJP, and their team of writers on AJLT are shortsighted. Who's to say that if Kim signed on to the revival that this still wouldn't have been a plot point for Samantha and clearly horned-up 17 year old Brady? They took the Big death plot over to the series, after all. They just changed sending inappropriate pics to Samantha to Brady and his freeloading girlfriend having copious amounts of sex with Miranda's head so far up her own ass to do any parenting. Darren Star was clearly the force behind the good of Sex And The City.
  23. I was never a fan of Rebecca and Miguel's romantic relationship. And tonight's episode, "Miguel", did not change that.
