Liked this episode a lot - especially getting more info about life in 2043. I too am intrigued to learn more about the people in tents. Looks like Poor Cassandra. The whole now-he's-here-now-he's-not thing with Cole is clearly taking its toll on her. I still love their dynamic - my favorite part of the show.

Someone on Twitter stated that Scandal went all Homeland with this episode. Having never watched Homeland, I can't really speak to that, but this episode didn't feel like a Scandal episode. Of course, I knew I was in for...something when I saw the words "Written by Shonda Rhimes." Also, I want to know which nail salon Olivia goes to. Her manicure didn't chip at all!

I enjoyed that. Didn't realize how much I missed this show and these characters. I continue to love Wes & Annalise's dynamic. I thought it was interesting that she told him "I'm not helping you; I'm helping myself." I wonder to what extent that is true. She has always seemed to have a soft spot for him. I'll always be here for Annalise's Death Glare. Felt bad for Asher when Bonnie dismissed their night together. Loved the hell out of that Annalise/Nate scene in his car. Can't help it, I like them together, though I totally wouldn't be surprised if he becomes suspicious of her again. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Kan. Damn, Arjun Gupta is FINE!

I don't understand. What did I just watch? I'm not being facetious. I literally don't know what I just watched.

Last weekend's FA Cup shocks were great. Loved seeing some underdog teams win.

The Cookie/Lucious teases are becoming more obvious. I think I am ok with that. Glad Lucious told Anika the truth. I still don't like her though. Hakeem continues to be a brat.

After the winter finale, I am sorta shipping Annalise & Nate. Yea, I know.

IA. I found it poignant and relatable to hear her admit this. I like seeing Monet (her date was very handsome), but I do find it weird that she's being shoehorned into the show.

I thought that Cookie was going to find out about Lucious' ALS when she saw him struggling with the pill bottle. I really liked that scene, and I am digging their chemistry. But...I was also enjoying Cookie & Puma. I'd love it if he stuck around because - as someone upthread said - it'd be nice to have someone else who is in Cookie's corner. Hakeem gets all the eye rolls from me. Did he forget that Jamal was on stage with him at Leviticus? Glad Jamal stood up to Lucious. Still can't stand Anika.

Good for Arsenal for getting that win against City (at the Etihad, no less!) And it was a true team performance. JustaPerson, you should be proud :-)

I am not a big movie person, but I loved this film. I thought it was incredibly powerful and haunting (the scenes of violence definitely called to mind Ferguson for me). And I can't say enough about the performances. David Oyelowo is truly outstanding, as is Carmen Ejogo. But all the actors were top notch. Most importantly, this film made me think long after I left the theater. I can't think of a better review for such a film.

Just started watching the spinoff. Doug's mother's face when Jamie said she wanted to have kids to bring her and Doug closer together? That was some unintentional comedy.

This is kind of random, and I wasn't sure where to put it, but I was watching an episode on this morning's TNT marathon (I believe it was called "Rapture"). In the episode, Lupo and Bernard visit Rapture-Con. Their conversation with the one of the organizers goes like this (I paraphrase) Bernard: Rapture-Con? Organizer: It's like the comic conventions, except for End Times fanatics. We're in the last days. Lupo: So we've been hearing. Organizer: I mean the last days of the convention. I don't know why but that exchange made me laugh for a good 5 minutes straight.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I bought the connection between Cole and Cassandra. I'm intrigued to see where the story goes.

Hakeem is such a poor little rich boy. I agree that the best thing about the character so far is his love and affection for Jamal. Maybe they'll give him some sort of growth as the series unfolds.

I read an article where the showrunner, Ilene Chaiken, said they envisioned the character as the niece of someone Cookie met in prison.

Seriously. So over his bullying and homophobia.

Jx223, yes to all of this! There's a lot of promising potential for where they can go with Lucious and Cookie. nb360, I'm loving the assistants as well - particularly Becky. I'd love to see them have their own little rivalry.
