LOL, I loved his line about he doesn’t have Facebook anymore because he threw away his phone. My 75 year old mom said the same thing a few years ago. Of course it’s bit much but its so damn funny Zabka makes it work. He is what really makes this show work.

I don’t. Then people would complain that we are being hammered over the head with the symbolism. Show runners can’t win.

Beth playing Benny in speed chess has nothing to do with studying him or his strategy. Speed chess is a totally different beast. (My husband and son are rated chess players.) If she was smiling its because she was somewhat crushing on him.

One of my best friends is in a biracial marriage and her child absolutely looks white. And so far from what we have seen of him, Archie Mountbatten looks white. It happens. There’s no reason to be irked that it does.

Young Prince Philip with a beard looks exactly like Harry. Young James Hewitt has red hair and happens to be photographed at the same angle with the same expression as Prince Harry. I’ve drawn many portraits and I have something of a knack for facial features. Harry is a Windsor.

That shot from the crowd greeting! I know exactly what you are talking about. You are right! It was absolutely uncanny.

I think that was episode three and one of the profile shots that made me get the chills was one where she’s reading the fan letters that have been carted in for her. I know it’s not just us, my husband who watched episode three last night (he’s a couple behind me) stopped the episode to remark on it to me.

I have to disagree that Emma Corrin is too simpering as Princess Diana. I am absolutely loving her performance and even though from certain angles facially she doesn’t resemble Diana from others (particularly the profile) she looks so much like her and sounds so much like her I start to get chills while watching. I think her casting and performance are extraordinary. Same with Josh O’Connor as Charles. I enjoy the episodes featuring them the most by far.

This man was an icon. I don’t envy his replacement. Thanks, 2020. Its like you saw how happy everyone was yesterday and figured you’d stick it to us once last time.

Devastated.

I kind of got the feeling that Gil wasn’t giving it all in his power tower run with Flex. She’s the best female ninja no doubt but she’s never done a power tower nor is she a fast ninja anyway. He probably had a bit of a strategy there.

Yeah, I paid the 2.99. I figured I could spare the three bucks for some mindless entertainment. Lord knows I’m not spending that in restaurants or on trips these days.
-
I thought it had some very exciting moments. It’s not the same as a regular season of course but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the power tower playoffs.
-
Yep, it is. I watched it today to take my mind off other things.

Its out already on Amazon as well. I watched it and was so happy to be able to skip commercials and the constant stories. SO much filler, my god.

Flip’s dog was a Biewer Yorkshire terrier (the tri-color variant) and since I have one myself and also lost a Biewer puppy at 5 months old last year, I felt very sad watching his segment. It was a reminder kick in the stomach that bad stuff happens and do any of us truly need those reminders anymore? At the same time, when he fell into the water and the host gently asked “are you thinking of Maui?” I was simultaneously tearing up and thinking “this is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. Not sure whether to laugh or cry”. It’s been that kind of year. Is LaBreck now the most consistent, best female ninja competing on the show? I would say most definitely. She has really been coming into her own the last few years.

Najee is ALWAYS at a disadvantage when it comes to the other contestants because he cannot breathe as efficiently as they can. Even if I take a puff of my inhaler it doesn’t make my lung capacity suddenly so much greater than anyone else’s.

Yeah. Well, there’s a feel good story straight down the tubes into the depths.

This doesn’t sound good. I am so tired of there having to be a dark underbelly to EVERYTHING. Nothing can ever be as it seems. It just makes me not want to engage with any of it.

The Winds Of Winter: Book 6 Will Arrive...Someday

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/george-r-r-martin-writing-193100679.html Lol another interview where he says a whole lot of nothing. Does anyone really care anymore? -
He seemed to love showing it off and I think its more that he loved the perceived femininity of a round belly.

I didn’t feel Florence Pugh was a believable 12 year old at all. I’ve never met a twelve year old girl who sounded like she’d been smoking two packs a day for ten years,

Margaret is 13, not 10.

Oh, you wise, wise people. This conversation does my heart good. The Kiera Knightley version is NOT Pride and Prejudice nor will it ever be. It gets SO much wrong, as already noted here. It also chops the story up into pieces. I call it Wuthering Prejudice. the 1995 A&E version I’ve watched twice in the last week alone and reread every Austen novel. It is about as close to perfect as you can get though I would have loved some of the conversation between Darcy and Elizabeth after they got together to make it into the miniseries. I would have loved a scene of her telling her mother too.
