  1. What moment? Her standing there expressionless like she did the whole night?
  2. I want to like her but she seems vaguely awkward and boring. Also, James’ daughter making Alex a get well card was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
  3. Yeah, he didn’t throw the game. He’s always been a smart and calculated bettor and this is no different.
  4. The link doesn’t work.
  5. https://nypost.com/2019/06/02/viral-jeopardy-clip-appears-to-show-james-holzhauers-defeat/ An article about it. I’m bummed.
  6. And Jeopardy has had other questions about Randy Newman. I hadn’t heard of a single other Newman with the first names listed but when I saw Randy I said Newman inmediately.
  7. I just watched the Pat McAfee interview on YouTube. James seems nice and totally unflappable. I don’t see any of the arrogance and/or social awkwardness that I’ve frequently seen attributed to him.
  8. I thought Sunbrella was a surprising TS. Maybe no one has bought outdoor furniture lately. Sunbrella fabric is the only kind I’ve ever heard of.
  9. Easy game, but Sarah acted like she had taken something before the show started, maybe for nerves. She did know her Shakespeare though.
  10. He was a better player than her and should have finished second. But he didn’t.
  11. And now we see the downside to risky betting to try and dethrone James. You can end up booted for FJ. You have to actually know the answers.
  12. I watch jeopardy to test my own knowledge. I actually care very little for the contestants other than as vessels who uncover the questions I try to answer on my couch. However when a contestant goes on a streak like this, I actually start to enjoy it because it’s so unusual. I really don’t feel sorry for the other contestants. Prepare better if you want to win. That contestant who spent the show in the red and was booted for FJ? I don’t feel sorry for her nor do I want her or anyone else get a do over. That would be far more boring to me than watching someone like James.
  13. Well, clearly, the priority was to have a crucial scene of Tyrion arranging furniture .
  14. I still am a bit stunned over how Jon’s Targ parentage meant basically nothing.
  15. The fact that he genuinely thought it was a joke should be a tell to the writers that it’s unearned and totally absurd.
  16. Of course you are exactly right. Unfortunately the show runners were unable to convey this with any degree of realism at all. I know this is what they were going for, but I didn’t buy into it for a second.
  17. The show was bad, really bad. When every five minutes I’m wondering how the heck such and such is happening that is not a good sign. Starting with, where the heck did Arya go on that white horse that we spent five full minutes on last week? She was still hanging around King’s landing horseless. How utterly pointless. There is no way that the conversation between John and Tyrion, completely unattended, should have been allowed to take place. Ridiculous. Dont even get me started on that meeting where PRISONER TYRION ENDS UP PICKING THE DAMN KING. What on earth? And Grey Worm is just like, yeah, ok, that works. My 12 year old could have come up with better than this. The small council scene was embarrassing in its jaw dropping stupidity. Jokes that weren’t funny, fucking Bronn as Master of Coin, that LOTR rip off Song of Ice and Fire book which was hilarious considering Martin can’t even finish the actual book. Oh my god. It was like televised extremely bad fan fiction. Color me shocked that anyone liked this. I can get behind the CGI and visuals as being good. They were, that’s obviously where all the money and thought went. But this show was never about that. It was great when it WASN'T about that.
  18. I think Ned would barely recognize his children because they didn’t even end up on the same show he was on.
  19. What a boring tournament. My family is glad for James to be back on.
  20. I read that he picks her up with his talons.
  21. As much as I was disappointed by many things in this episode I sure liked Drogon emerging from the shadows to roast Varys. That was extremely badass.
  22. She said her MRI was fine and she had a broken arm. There’s no connection.
  23. What irritates me about this show is it’s just not at all realistic. Beth goes from “I miss dancing” to being a full-fledged dance teacher and now to owning her own studio in the span of what...weeks? It’s actively offending me at this point. These people drop and pick up new careers at the drop of a hat and barely breaking a sweat. It’s flat out annoying.
  24. Prepare to scream because I bet that’s exactly what they will do.
  25. She looked old as the hills. Maybe she was so out of it on medication that Randall felt he needed to remind her he was her son.
