I think she meant it was easier to bond with the child who didn’t push her away and act all surly with her. Not that Randall was easy to raise with his many facets but that he was just easy for her to bond with.

One of the best episodes of the show’s run so far. Excellent from start to finish.

I loved LaKedra. Contrast her unruffled smoothness answering question after question with Ben’s wild flailing. No contest. I expect a few more wins out of her and hopefully a whole lot.

Ben made me anxious just watching him. He probably burned 500 calories with all the shifting and fidgeting. Take it down a notch or 20, Ben.

I’m still so annoyed at the NFLers category. I’m guessing the 200 answer was kicker and the 1000 was linebacker.
-
Boy, is it tiresome to see Jeopardy contestants know nothing about sports. Totally cliche. The categories are always the ones that aren’t finished and it’s one of my strongest. Get a clue, contestants.
-
Of course it isn’t but it’s super realistic to be using it all the time. Otherwise it wouldn’t be a hard and fast rule to “never use Dr. Google”.
-
Or use google.

I didn’t see Six Feet Under but that sounds so much more on point. And yes the whole point of the D&C is to get every bit to prevent infection! I mean they still could have sent her home but there’s no way she’d be going to sing. She’d have a script for pain meds and instructions to take it easy. For me and my sister it was like labor cramps. I didn’t even here about what the doctor said about her passing most of it in the shower. Whaaaat? That’s not at all realistic. With no spotting or anything ahead of time to tip her off that something was wrong? No way. if I were a writer I would have done it like this: Kate goes to the bathroom to pee, screams for Toby that she sees blood, they head to ER, they confirm via ultrasound that the baby is no longer alive (this could have been a very realistic and wrenching scene), then she has a D&C. I don’t even know why I’m harping in this. Instead of being affected by anything I was too busy going “nope, that’s not right”. I am sorry for your loss as well. :(

Having had a miscarriage myself (and my sister had two) I found the actual miscarriage scene was more a TV miscarriage and not so much real life. I’m sure everyone’s experience is different but I never had any sharp pains and then boom it’s gone. I was 10 weeks it was like a mini labor and it took a while to actually start. It’s not over quickly if you pass it naturally (I ended up having a D&C but I was miscarrying for nearly a full day before the procedure). So I didn’t think Kate would be running out to sing 12 hours after. She didn’t have a D&C and unless she had been spotting for days or something I find it very unlikely it just happened in the shower. That’s not how they work. I thought this show strove for more realism that that. Took me straight out of it.

Well I’m got the final DD Wilbur missed because I love David McCullough books. You could tell he thought his FJ answer would be acceptable and when it wasn’t he looked annoyed. Team Wilbur.

Ah, I’ve found another one. Hello, friend!
-
Who? (don’t post links. I’m kidding).

Lol. I know that. As others have said its Tom F*cking Brady. And yes, it’s a compliment. How about a contestant that looked like it was a huge PITA to even answer a question? She was awful. I’ve already forgotten her name. What a shock. I’ve already forgotten all their names in fact.
-
Yes, Brady is called Tom Terrific by the sports media. Among fans he is simply TFB.

What a dreadfully dull game. I actually started reading my book somewhere in the middle of it. Boring, dry, dull contestants. Meh questions. Zzzzzzzzzzz.
-
I got confused on the FJ clue and screwed the order up. I was all messed up. I can only imagine doing it under the pressure those three were under. I didn’t actually think about it at the time but I’ve seen a few remarks about how Buzzy’s DD clue was just too ridiculously easy and I have to say I agree. That won him the game and it was super basic. Like high school level basic.
-
I watched the Facebook livestream of the three contestants the other day and they were so fun together. I’m really going to miss the ToC.
-
And now back to boring, drippy contestants. Sigh.
-
Epic comeback by Buzzy. Loved all three of these players. Alex was totally right. Best ever ToC because of amazing personalities. Poor Alan. I felt so bad for him. My husband said Freudian Slip as well.
-
My order of who I’d like to win is Austin, Alan and Buzzy. But I’d be perfectly fine with a Buzzy win. I really don’t dislike any of them. I just love Austin although Alan doing the robot won him major points from me. I just don’t love the twitchy anxiety. But funny, more relaxed Alan is a big plus.
-
I didn’t understand it either and given the answer, I feel like I should have. I still think Alan will win but I think Austin played well enough to have a decent lead and it’s unfortunate it didn’t work out that way. I was also surprised that Buzzy basically laid an egg. I wish all TOCs were as goofy and fun as this one. Trebeck doing the robot along with the contestant intros were all-time moments for me. I vastly prefer that playfulness to uncomfortable meltdowns like we witnessed the other night.

I thought transsexual could have been an acceptable answer only because I’m not sure there is an official thing the T stands for. I’ve heard several variations. And it’s 11 letters. (But he still shouldn’t have screwed it up. It’s an easy question).
-
I didn’t realize he added the “ed” and that is a big error. They should remove 400 bucks from Alan’s score tonight. The clue was clear.

You are a smart person. Lol, my brain is like scrambled eggs.
