I've seen both the sermons and the interpretive dance; neither would take a regular dim-witted person more than an hour. They are a special kind of dim.

Not to mention what she had to pay for the product itself. Anyone know if she has to purchase inventory up front?

Amber: A Rill Woman Goes to Gel

Amber - If you're going to claim mic drop, you need to spell all the words correctly in your tweet. Otherwise you look like a (bigger) ass. -
I'd like to know how much of their own money they contribute to their expenses. They presumably get paid for Counting On, so it's not like they can't contribute. I would bet my life savings of $10 that they don't contribute anything.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding (easy to do with anything Derrick or Jill write), but are they saying that they visit a village only once a week, or a village for an entire week (and then move on to another village). Those are vastly different things. If it's truly only once a week, what are they doing the other 6 days?

Oh @forumfish, hot fudge milkshakes are my favorite, although I've never had Sonic's. I have to explain to people that they aren't the same as chocolate milkshakes - they're better.

I use Pureology volume shampoo and hydrating conditioner. All of the Pureology line is for color treated hair so you can pick and choose according to your needs. Pureology'sColour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier is a good leave-in spray that helps prevent fading. I also use a thermal protectant (Bumble & Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer and Kenra Professional Platinum Blowdry spray). Boy, I put a lot of stuff in my hair (all of the above plus curl cream).

Sorry, post fail! The Sheryl Sheppard story just hasn't grabbed me. Her mom's voice is really grating - honestly, it sounds like she's on something. On thing that bugs me with the Someone Knows Something and Missing & Murdered is that the journalists are always just showing up unannounced at people's workplaces. One woman (a cashier, I think) got upset and her manager had to ask the journalist to leave. It seems unnecessary to me to harass someone at their job for a story. -

Yeah, it really has. The whole Franklin Creit Union child prostitution ring thing was crazy. Poor Noreen Gosch. @starri, I think that's my problem with them too. Plus the Captain grates on my nerves. -
I have a bad Orla Kiely habit. I just ordered this one as a present to myself for getting a surprisingly good review at work. I'd love to get one of the leather bags but they are so expensive and I'm hard on bags so it doesn't seem worth it.

I recently saw stroopwafels at Target. I'm beginning to think there is nothing they don't carry.

It's the harsh vertical line above the inner corner. It's squared off at the top rather than being curved. Amber has this problem as well. I've spent too much time thinking about this, clearly.

And Vince Wilfork (sniff) and Wes Welker. The only players Belichek has kept for more emotional/sentimental reasons were Junior Seau and a Teddy Bruschi. I wouldn't miss Gronk if he was gone. Too injury prone. Has he played a full season?

Husband had the leftover steak tips and potato skins from last night. I had a cheese stick as my indulgence yesterday left me with acid reflux. It was so good though!

I have not heard of Crime Writers On but it is now on my list. I've been on a Canadian kick with Someone Knows Something and Missing & Murdered: Who Killed Alberta Williams. I like but didn't love either; I can't quite put my finger on why. I've also been trying to get into True Crime Garage but the guys get on my nerves a bit. I gave them a shot because they covered the Johnny Gosch kidnapping, which took place in my hometown when I was a kid. -

Reno update: I removed the light fixture this morning and didn't die. I capped off the wires individually and wrapped them with electrical tape. So far the house has not caught on fire. -
Thanks, @annzeepark914! My husband loves chicken Parmesan so this will be a huge hit. It's now on the menu for this week.

That's my least favorite of her books, for some of the same reasons you mention. Her other books are better.

You know that the distinction between "gay/transgender" and "pedophile" is completely lost on them. @sometimesy, not Eyeore! He's just a little pessimistic. These guys are.....more problematic.

Brisket and onions, slow cooked for 8 hours. Haven't decided if it's going to be sandwiches with sharp cheddar or with roasted Brussels sprouts.
