  1. I spent the last few weeks binging this show. Believe it or not, I had never seen it before. Of course I knew the ending, because….Internet, but otherwise I had no idea what to expect. While I found many people interesting, I couldn’t stand most of the characters. I realize she was supposed to be central to the story, but I hated Melfi and found most of her scenes annoying. I don’t know how to take Tony. He could be entertaining but there were so many times I wanted to slap him upside the head, and there were a few times that I found him downright despicable. I did love Bobby though, and my heart broke when he died. I probably shouldn’t have, but also had a soft spot for Junior. Enough of my bitching though. Even though so many characters irritated me, I think the show was fascinating. The actors were wonderful and believable, and I can see why the show holds up as great TV.
  2. I was disappointed that Shafe didn’t come clean with Kristen about his drug problem, but in truth, that is what addicts do, they lie, so I find it very believable. However, what I find hard to believe is that Hodiak hasn’t figured it out yet. He seems like a pretty observant guy, and it seems to me that, even if he didn’t quite know what was up, he would least have picked up on the fact that something is going on with Shafe. Do we know if they are going to cover the Tate-Labianca murders this season? I’m guessing so since we are getting flash forwards. I don’t think we got those last season, did we? I’m pretty sure those just started this season. Part of me hopes they drag it out until next season, but since we don’t yet know if the show is being renewed for season 3, I’d rather get it this season than not at all.
  3. The more I watch this show, the more I feel I need a long hot shower. I get that the show is supposed to be about the cutthroat world of producing, but sometimes, it gets hard to take. Of the main cast, I don't think I like anyone. On the bright side, Ioan Gruffudd, Zach MacGowan and Freddie Stroma...Yum, Yum!!
  4. Wow, none of this makes sense. Everyone from past seasons is gone except Mison, unless they plan on keeping Lyndie Greenwood, which would make little sense since they are moving away from Sleepy Hollow to DC and seemingly trying to erase all traces of Abbie. This show isn't even following the premise it was built on. I understand that shows might try to switch things up a bit to see what works, but they aren't even telling the same story that they started out with. It would make more sense to scratch Sleepy Hollow and start over with a completely different show. I do believe I'll pass.
  5. I’m curious to see where the writers are going with Emma also. She doesn’t seem at all enthralled with Charlie anymore, just afraid. More and more, I get the impression that she wants to leave The Family, so it will be interesting to find out just how Charlie manages to keep her around until the night of the murders. I'm not liking Shafe's addiction problems at all, but it seems to be one of the stories main arcs, so imagine there is a lot more of it to come. I missed Charmain this episode. Hopefully we will get more of her next week.
  6. Instead of UnReal, I now dub this UnBelievable. Last season it felt like we were getting a taste of what really goes on in reality TV, but this season, things seem too over the top, and I can’t buy most of what they are selling. I’m sure there are a lot of shenanigans that go on behinds the scenes in The Bachelor or other shows of the same ilk, but now it seems like they are really pushing the envelope. Come on, really?!!!... trying to paralyze your suitor or filming people having sex and bringing in the father to come see it….ridiculous! Add to that, unlike last season, I barely know who the contestants are and really don’t care about them. This season seems like it is all about the show runners and the problems they create for themselves, and frankly, I am finding it boring.
  7. A show I really liked was called Endgame. Sadly, it was only one season long, but Hulu free channel has it. It's about a world class chess player using his logic as a detective. It sounds weird, and it was, but it was kind of quirky fun.
  8. Wow, the actor who plays Shafe really looks different without his scruff. Almost every time he showed up on screen, it took a moment for it to register with me who he was. I'm not keen on the story of him becoming an addict, but maybe it will become more interesting down the road.
  9. I can see why you might think that, although it’s not really the case. I had read a few different blogs and articles this week about the TV series and the books, which lead me to that theory. At this point, it doesn’t matter to me whether he finishes or not. I didn’t really enjoy the books all that much, and the only reason I read them is because I didn’t want to wait years and years to find out what happened. Since the TV show has now overtaken the books, I see no need to read them. I hope he does finish them for the sake of his fans who want to read them. I’m not angry, just making an observation about what may be the reason that the books are not yet finished.
  10. Apparently they are a former couple and don't get along well.
  11. I’m almost certain GRRM has no intention of finishing this series. It seems like he has written himself into a corner that he doesn’t know how to get out of and is more than happy to allow someone else to finish it for him. Allowing the TV show to overtake him allows him to save face as an author, rather than handing the reins over to another writer. If this story was still a passion of his, I don’t think he would be content to place its outcome in someone else’s hands. Why would he sign over the story telling rights to someone when his story remained untold if he intended to finish it.
  12. Rachel is becoming very unlikeable. Whatever conscience she had left is falling to the wayside. It’s one thing to play with someone’s emotions and something altogether different to put someone at risk of great bodily harm. Quinn is even worse, arranging to have him injured. Good Lord! The way the production team is toying around with Darius and his back injury is beyond the pale. Darius is just as culpable though. He should have disclosed all of this when he signed up. He has now been injured several times during filming, and for him to believe Rachel when she says she will not allow that to happen is very shortsighted, since in spite of her earlier efforts to do just that, he was still manipulated into putting himself in harm’s way.
  13. I understand fully why she didn't run to the cops, I just don't really buy her version as unwilling participant. The prosecution had to make her look good to be credible with jurors. I don't believe for a second that she had no idea what was going down!
  14. I agree that this show’s depiction of Manson is not entirely believable. He seems too unhinged and out of control, and while I agree unhinged may be an accurate description, out of control does not. Charlie was very much in control and knew it, and this series sometimes seems to make it seem like he was carried about like a feather in the wind.
  15. I never really bought into Linda Kasabian's story, but rather that the prosecution needed her testimony and painted her in a favorable light (since she had the least blood on her hands, so to speak) so they could clinch the convictions on the others. Such is justice I guess!
  16. Elizabeth Tullch sound wrong, I would remember Bitsie over Elizabeth .
  17. This episode seemed a little more interesting to me. I prefer watching these people produce a show rather than argue behind-the-scenes drama, but there are some weird dynamics going on with the production staff that I am curious about. At this point, I really have no idea who is playing who is playing whom and to what end. I expect a huge twist to come from this.
  18. I enjoyed I am Homicide with its similar format to Homicide Hunter. Of course I don't find McFadden's narration nearly as engaging as Kenda's, but then again, Kenda is one of kind.
  19. I can see that the rest of the season is going to be a snooze-fest with the comic relief now gone. Hope to see ya in Paradise Chad, Daniel and Evan!
  20. ,,,,and this just happened per chance? Contact me anyone if you're looking to buy a bridge.
  21. I think that has been my favorite Hell Yeah Moment on GoT if not on TV ever!
  22. I was spoiled for most of the episode, but the end when Sansa feeds Ramsey to his dogs? Excellent!
  23. I love Abbie and Frank, and I think the show made a huge mistake in getting rid of them. I thought the show runners thought they were being clever in bringing in Crane's family because of the source material, but they obviously didn't realize that Abbie and Crane were the real draw to the show. I apologize, I wasn't trying to be insensitive. I just thought there might be another point of view rather than a racist agenda. However, now that Betsy and Zoe are brought up, it is a hard point to argue against. .
