I like that Tanya’s not so clueless that she doesn’t know how much cafe food is. I’m still giggling over that line.

I Am Shauna Rae - General Discussion

Rylee is an asshole for behaving like that at the table. Actually, they were all assholes. The Welsh guy seemed nice enough. He was definitely not impressed with the constant “sass” which I didn’t think was funny. -
Southern Hospitality - General Discussion
RedDelicious replied to 1011101010001's topic in Southern Hospitality
Looks like middle-aged women (which I am) on girls trips 😄 So far I am entertained but I don't know if it is just because this is an all-new cast of characters. I am also bored by Mikel and hate watching Grace Lilly. She's everything I dislike about GenZ rolled into one insufferable package. The bartender boy with the duck lips looks like a meme. I wonder if there is a dress code - I have not Googled it. I noticed some girls in super short denim cutoffs and Converse in the line and later walking away. A bar/club in my town tried to enforce a dress code and it didn't go over well but I wish they would have stuck with it. -
I also didn’t like the dark turn this episode took. It felt sinister. I was so frustrated with Portia not getting herself out of there. Lots of tidbits dropped too, a line about having to do things you don’t want to do, getting out alive, etc. I felt like Portia was putting it together and wanted to get back to Tanya, and I don’t want it to be too late.

These stories are about manipulation, yes, but not necessarily gaslighting. Gaslighting is like “look what you made me do, it’s your fault for being upset about it, you did this” and taking no accountability for one’s own actions. I see a lot of bullshit behavior and lies going on but it’s not gaslighting by definition.

Take some FUCKING NOTES ROBYN. THAT’S what REAL CRYING LOOKS LIKE you ASSHOLE. I apologize for the coarse language.

He's so pointy boots-sweat pants-oversized scarf now. I loved skinny scarf Jude Law. We quote Philip Seymour Hoffman to this day (you gotta hear this...did this place come furnished) and others. Like The White Lotus, the scenery in TMR was absolutely amazing. The only thing that's bugging me out are the head sculptures. I feel like one of those will be a murder weapon.

I am also sick of Rylee. I like her hair but seriously, this show is supposed to be about Shauna. She could do really well designing clothing and could even get in with a bigger name designer. Tommy Hilfiger does adaptive clothing. One of the things I appreciate about Shauna is she doesn't overuse the word "like" in her talking heads. I want to go to Sugar Factory! -
Kody’s brilliant idea to buy Christine’s house I am confident was rooted in figuring out a way to screw her over. Like, wait until the agent contract runs out, purchase as for sale by owner for less than original asking, fail to pony up, then claim squatters rights. ETA: Also because in Kody's mind it's family money since they're not 'divorced' unless he says they're 'divorced'. (see Brown, Meri and Church, to which they no longer belong) I know it doesn’t work that way and I know (hope) Christine would never fall for any further plan of Kody’s, but this is Kody’s ramen brain we’re talking about, and he’s stupid enough to think he could make it happen. His only goal in that scenario is screwing Christine and making Janelle get rid of her RV because it represents her independence.

Hopefully the chicken will take care of that. Little sh*t. -

I didn’t know about the double dominant complication. I just read that Warwick Davis and his wife lost two children because of that as well. Very sad. The Wittuses seemed like a very nice couple and their little boy seemed nice especially compared to Jackson who I thought was being a little sh*t. You could tell they still carry so much sadness and grief, especially the mom. I just wanted to give her a hug. -
But the question remains, if Kody takes a knife to the kidneys at Coyote Pass, and no one is there to hear him wail about the SACRIFICES he’s MADE, will it snow enough the following season to necessitate Christine’s snowblower? 🥗

Daphne’s teeth bug me. It’s like her upper veneers are tilted and I can’t unsee it.

Love the bookshelves too. I have sooo many books and could fill those up in no time. There’s no way to say it with a straight face but natural wood is making a comeback ☺️ #ilovewood

I don't think Lucia is a career prostitute. I think she just does it for fun and to make some money because she's young and beautiful and she can. If anything, Mia seems more manipulative to me, but they're both taking advantage of people. As soon as Jack said he had to go do something for his uncle, the 'jig' was up. He's a gigolo.

This is a Christmas Vacation disaster waiting to happen and a dipshit at the controls but damn I love that paneled wall and high ceiling.

I’m cringing at shoes on the yacht. Fitting for Portia and the Chav.

Wait for it … The Kodestone Pipeline 🤗 I’m still giggling over the arguments regarding Meri’s perceived waterfront property.

Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the soft blue and pink colors at her reception. I'm surprised however by the number of modern wedding planners who don't know how to properly word a formal wedding invitation. *When the parents of the bride are hosting the wedding, the parents are married (to each other) and their daughter has the same last name, the bride is listed on the invitation by her first and middle name only. Not first, middle and last.

Lydia looked really fresh and rosy for just having had her arm amputated in an RV with a saber. -
Bethenny Frankel: Skinny Girl
RedDelicious replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
The thought that’s been lurking in the back of my mind is when will Bryn realize that SHE’S been raised by wolves. Hopefully that will help her find her way back to her father and grandparents and they can repair their relationship. I’ve always been Team Jason and always thought he was a decent guy from a decent family. He had his moments but I really think Bethenny’s behavior and treatment of him drove him right to the edge and he fell off a couple times. Seems to be a pattern with her. I think the only thing that’s keeping her in check with Paul is that he is ridiculously wealthy and comes from a ridiculously wealthy family. -

My $.02 is that I had a boss that was cut from the same cloth as Bethenny. Complete with the branded, monogrammed swag bags as employee gifts. I’ve thrown out or donated everything she ever gave us because she was that toxic and I didn’t want anything except to get as far away from her as possible. When you’ve experienced it firsthand, you know it when you see it again. I wouldn't have wanted Bethenny’s bags either. It was like, yay I hate you and don’t want to film scenes with you but this is my product please go out and promote it for me with these lovely items that have my logo and word mark ALL OVER THEM. Nah. I was thinking if Sonja was smelling cat urine, it might have been her own clothes 🙃 I do agree that Bethenny wasn’t the whole problem on that trip. Everyone was super uptight at one point or another it seemed. Some people just drive you right to the edge. I mean Alex broke out in hives and nearly had a nervous breakdown over Jill showing up for 20 minutes. -

Kelly’s behavior was erratic but I don’t think she was or is the lunatic that Bethenny portrayed her to be. I really do think Bethenny is evil and she will take down anyone in her path and that’s exactly what she did to Kelly. The whole cook versus chef thing was in response to Bethenny over inflating everything she does. And that IS what she does. Unfortunately Kelly was the one to call her out on it with disastrous effects. Now that it’s years later and we’ve seen a full spectrum of Bethenny’s true colors and her own instability, who’s the crazy one now? I always liked Kelly. She was a bit of a kook but she seemed to be a good mother and a fun person.
