  1. Megan Marie I think.. The only other blonde with overdone eyeliner was Jenna Allison but I don’t think she made it to training camp in S7.
  2. Season 2 was on Pluto the other day and in the segment where they are waiting for TC to be announced after final auditions, the girls are in some weird brick area that I've never seen before. It almost looks like a lower level bar or hospitality room in Texas Stadium. It actually had brick pillars and kind of reminded me of most hospital basements I've been through. Does anyone know what that space was? Abigail and Loni were rookie candidates.
  3. I mean if the stick looks like that I don't care if he doesn't talk, it's probably even better 😆 But ya I'm thinking they manage to get off the tugboat and climb up the ladder of the ghost ship and potentially use the radio, and if not Spencer did manage to get a mayday out to a nearby rig before things got real. They're both fit and she's allegedly tougher than she looks so here's hoping. I need Spencer to get home and show Banner how it's done! Spencer's the modern day Kayce minus the wife in the shower.
  4. On rewatch, the tug captain told Spencer that the current in the channel holds the ghost ship (in a pattern) so presumably it just follows the way the water goes. It’s conceivable that when the engines died on the tug it was drawn into the same current. Also when they were passing the ship, there was a flash of ladder rungs going right up the side so I presume that’s how Spencer and Alexandra don’t die. I enjoyed the episode and agree that Spencer is sex on a stick. I so would.
  5. Not for nothing, she hit 550 before didn’t she, and they wanted her to go lower to be approved? It’s definitely an achievement but 550 is still so freaking high.
  6. My sister visited this past weekend and we caught the replay on Friday night. In the beginning of the episode there was a shot of Tammy in profile and Sis Apple said "what is that on her forehead" and I replied, that is her forehead. A few minutes later I look over and Sis is tapping her own forehead in disbelief. Although Tammy's forehead seems to change, it doesn't always look that big??
  7. I think the issue is the wardrobe department could do a hell of a lot better dressing her. For me it's not so much that she gained weight, but that they're putting her in such awful, ill-fitting clothes. She's the lead female character and they need better outfits. The thought crossed my mind that the ill-fitting clothes are purposeful, to convey a sense of discomfort, exposure and decreasing confidence, but it seems unfair when the rest of the predominantly male cast isn't subjected to the same. Except for Greg in the beginning, but he was green (literally) and fresh out of college.
  8. I liked them too! I thought they were entertaining. I also liked that there wasn't constant complaining and it was kind of nice to have a break from the poor folks that have endured serious trauma like abuse and neglect. Those episodes can really get you down. Geno and Nico were out there making the effort. I hope they keep it up!
  9. Same - I got 890 on the SAT my first time around. By the time I took the GREs, the day after my last day of winter finals senior year of college (it's a miracle I even got into college), I blew them out of the water. 4 years of college taught me how to study and I did a self-guided prep course that was really more about strategy than actual knowledge. Plus I was really good on the essay portion.
  10. Um, taking your shoes off is not going to make the difference bro
  11. Did he really just park the Seville in an active traffic lane?
  12. Piggybacking off the points above, Tammy seems to need a life skills program to teach her how to be independent. I would think that would be part of the curriculum at rehab, but all they seem to be doing are activities to pass time (#ashtraysandbirdhouses). I'm not sure that it's a rehabilitation center so much as it's a physical recovery center. She's an impossible mix of can't do anything for herself but won't let anyone show her either. I wonder if her therapy sessions are more productive off-camera.
  13. I mean it’s possible. My dad’s dachshund lived to 21. It just seemed strange to me because Lil Bit didn’t look or act that old. She was a sweet little thing. Rest easy Little ❤️ Any sympathy I had for Tammy last week went right out the window. WHY ARE MICHAEL’S NAILS SO LONG. You know it’s funny, they introduced Amanda as this toughy, no filter, ready to rumble woman and she’s not that way at all. She was suffering no fools at lunch in Gatlinburg when Tammy was being an ass last season but she’s caring, kind and seems to have a big heart. I like her. ETA: I also like that she's genuine and doesn't blow smoke.
  14. My interpretation was that Chris made the broccoli cheddar casserole with cauliflower rice instead of regular rice. The links looked like Johnsonvilles which have pretty good stats except they are salty - I've had them, they're not bad. Even Sweet Baby Ray has a no sugar added barbecue sauce and I like that also. Chris is probably the last one who would risk derailing Tammy's efforts with a cheat meal and I really liked that he did a healthier version of the barbecue they used to have. It was a high protein, low carbohydrate meal, even though I'm sure there was a lot of sodium. That was kind of him to do something special. Amy really got on my nerves this episode. She just becomes more and more unlikable. The bit about Gage (who is just adorable) drinking peach tea really pissed me off. Those things have almost as much sugar as a soda (or sodie as it were). Unless Amy gets her nutrition sorted out that kid doesn't stand a chance. Poor thing. The swimming pool scene was adorable. He's such a pleasant baby. Tammy actually seemed sincere, although I don't really understand the rehab situation unless it is as LilysMom said and they have to learn to make their own choices. I was encouraged to see that Tammy chose just the hot dog, presumably without the roll. The resident friend who has been there for 7 years...what? That seems strange to me. I actually wonder if that place is assisted living and not necessarily rehab for overeaters. I didn't catch the name - maybe someone can look it up for us. I don't think the therapist is the right fit for Tammy - she's a slender, attractive and sophisticated woman with nice clothes and jewelry, and I don't think Tammy is making a very effective connection with her. When Tammy realized she had gained ten pounds, her perception of the defeat was awful. One of the hardest things she's going to have to learn is how to rebound from setbacks. Amanda looks like she's lost weight already - she's looking good. Unfortunately she's one of those women with a large bust and it makes her appear so much heavier than she actually is. She must be really tall because I would never put her at almost 300 pounds. I would also much rather watch a show about Amanda, Chris/Brittany and Misty than the sh*tshow that is Amy. If Tammy keeps going and keeps working on herself, I'd like to see that too. Wouldn't it be something if she could really make a life for herself. I definitely think she's bright and has a sharp mind. She has the potential.
  15. I don’t even like for my dog to be given canned cheese at the vets office. They use it as a bribe. My first pappy turned her nose up at it but the second one likes it. It’s so gross! That scene with Amy in the car was horrendous. She’s just acting for the camera now. Tammy, believe it or not, seems like she’s being herself, whether that’s a good thing or not. I don’t get the sense that she’s changing the way she is for the camera.
  16. My paternal great grandmother would be about the same approximate generation as Spencer. She got married at 16 (great grandpop was 18) and had six altogether including a set of identical twins. Her first was born in 1909 and last in 1922 at age 30. I tend to think that was pretty old in those days. Only the boys survived.
  17. It’s interesting that she’s sequestered in Augusta, Georgia allegedly with a very rich and private dude, when that’s the type of guy she had in Topper in the first place. It’s sad really. Getting rid of him was the mistake of a lifetime, all because she wanted to be out on the town having her picture taken instead of leaning in to married life. She never got that back.
  18. According to tonight’s show, Tammy was up to at least 720.
  19. I made pretty much the same assumption except mine was “normal weight” minus 10, which gets us to the same place. By that calculation I should be 115. With my build, at 123-125, people start asking if something is wrong with me. I can’t imagine losing another 10. Which I haven’t seen since 2007 😆
  20. Grace Lilly has the most annoying junior high mean girl laugh. She’s no where near as hot as she thinks she is. She’s pretty enough but her personality negates her looks immediately. I keep waiting for her to say chicken and broccoli with brown sauce and brown rice, hahahahahaha. Totally agree that they pulled Regan in off the street because she doesn’t actually work and has no idea what she’s doing. I feel like Maddie is trying to be the Cool Carole and #1 girl in the group at the same time.
  21. To be fair, Matt allowed Amy to bring Daisy into the house. I thought that was nice of him. They had to do the scene and he wasn’t a dick about it.
  22. I just caught on that the one in the bathrobe is supposed to be Cousin Eddie. That's actually pretty funny.
  23. First and foremost, please get Rylee off my screen. Shauna has a very small window of tolerance and doesn't handle stress well. I didn't see what was so stressful about the move except for Rylee being an idiot and packing her sh*t in trash bags. Grow up already. I definitely think Shauna could take it upon herself to dress and act more like an adult, if she wants to be treated like an adult. Investing in a capsule wardrobe of quality pieces that fit her properly would do a world of difference, as would a haircut and good makeup. It doesn't have to be a closet full of clothes, but she needs to do something. Leggings and Converse do make her look like an 8-year old child. And the entire family needs to stop enabling both Shauna and Rylee. I would be so happy for her if she could get out and make a go of a career in the fashion industry. I kinda think Tommy the firefighter (who I loved) dodged a bullet for the present term.
