It seems like Lindsay is realizing that she and Paul just aren't going to work given what she mentioned about getting an "abobo" in that text to Gretchen. I don't want to be crass, but I think for the sake everyone involved that would be the right decision.

I'm a fan of Benedict Cumberbatch so I'm fairly excited for this although I don't know much about Doctor Strange. Even if BC wasn't playing him, I'd probably still go see it because at this point I'm pretty much Marvel's bitch. The special effects look like they're going to be SICK.

I think it'd be fun if Kara got with an alien, even just as a fling. I remember in the JLU cartoon Kara meets and falls for Brainiac 5 from the 31st century and leaves Earth to stay there with him. Of course that's not going to happen here, and I doubt it'll really happen with any alien unless they decide to pair her with Mon-El.

Amen to that. I think it's built in to the DNA of the all the Berlanti-CW shows to devolve into degrees of cheesy/awful.

I agree that children don't always have to mourn crappy parents, but I think in Jimmy's case he always deep down hoped he and his father would eventually connect somehow. Especially the way his bravado when calling his father to announce the sale of his latest novel crumbled into a childlike "I sold a book Daddy..!" It seemed more like a reality when his father admitted that he always had trouble understanding Jimmy but was still proud of him, only for Jimmy to be faced with the reality of their relationship when his father didn't even have the courtesy to tell his son that he was dying. I think for Jimmy it was that last confirmation that his father was a) gone, b) a crappy dad, and c) that they would never have the chance to have a real relationship (not probable that would have really happened anyway).

As someone who found Kara/James dull af together, I'm glad but surprised that they ended their relationship just like that. I was thinking I would have to fast forward through their romantic scenes in the future. I blame the writing for their relationship being so badly done although Mehcad Brooks has a dull presence on the show in general. I'm a POC and I'm all for more interracial relationships but this one was just a dud. If Kara works better with Chris Woods's character than I'm all for it. I'm not too optimistic about this show's ability to write a good romance though.

When they were talking about how Superman had recently put Lex in jail, I was wondering if that was supposed to be BvS. Although Clark died in BvS so I guess not? Just a separate run in with Lex I guess.

I always found Nick to be fairly likable. Definitely the only character I liked while reading it. Although it's been a few years since I read the novel.

I was wondering how they would do the glowing Qi fist so it wouldn't look stupid. I like the way they've done it. Not much risk of it looking too fake. I am PUMPED for this -- more than any of the others. Just wish there were more Asians in the cast.

Lindsay got pregnant as a result of their hookup at the beginning of the season. She was going to get an abortion and not tell Paul so he wouldn't feel any obligation and could be happy with Amy and she could move on but Becca ended up telling him. Paul dumped Amy and persuaded Lindsay to get back together with him. It was 100% a terrible decision.

I wonder if they intend on putting them together in the shows? I mean I feel like they have to, especially if they're going to eventually put Jessica and Luke together. Though Finn Jones would look like a little boy next to Simone Missick

After seeing all the black characters and actors in Luke Cage, I was kinda hoping Iron Fist could do the same with Asian actors (besides Danny himself of course). Looking at the cast list on imdb tho, it doesn't look like that's going to be the case. I suppose it would make Finn Jones stick out like a sore thumb.

She and Pietro did betray Ultron when they realized that he intended to eliminate the human race which I supposed counts for something. The only explanation I can come up with is that the Avengers vouched for her and her role in helping them, which convinced officials to allow her to stay without a visa provided she works with the Avengers and lives on the compound.
