If Chris didn't insist on a housekeeper, I can't imagine what a pig sty that lovely home would be. He is and will be fighting the mess every day that his wife creates.

They would have to hire a housekeeper and someone to care for the outdoor area.  There's no way they could afford this place.  I think this was thought up by the producers of the show  to give them something to do that didn't include Matt and Caryn.

Regardless of what house Chris and Amy live in, he's fighting a potential daily mess left by Amy. She naturally is just a messy person and he is naturally a neat person. These things can create discord between two people sharing a home. I think they said they have someone coming in weekly to clean up. Did I understand this correctly? The housekeeper, obviously, didn't have permission to clean up Amy's side of the home office. It was awful. I could not live with such a mess and paperwork, etc. all over the floor. How can Chris?

Thought we weren't allowed to play dodgeball anymore, because "bullying".   It really is hurtful - both physically and psychologically.

Our school has teachers vs elem kids dodgeball last day of school. Lots of pent up frustration gets thrown at kids. The soft balls are used. It's quite cathartic for some teachers. I teach prek, I like all my kids.

Ok I’m not sure what Amy is trying to say, is this just another typo or is “Pute Michigan” a place or thing??!?

I hope she didn’t mean “Puke” maybe sea sick?

I was going to say that thing in the water looks like a tiny little Lochness Monster… then I realized it’s Amy! 😳

I guess Isabel took the pic

My guess is it should be the word "Pure". The r and t key are right next to each other.

She's so sloppy. Maybe "Pure Michigan," their tourism slogan?

Ohhhhhh of course, I didn’t know that was their tourism slogan and it makes perfect sense that it’s another typo with the “r” and “t” right next to each other.

Well she looks like she’s having a great time, seems like Michigan is in her blood… I wonder if Chris and Amy have thought of moving there?

I know they’ve mentioned Idaho in the past but I don’t recall them talking about Michigan as a retirement destination.

Probably too far from the kids and grand kids for Amy.

But closer to her elderly father (94). They could move in with him and Amy could be his housekeeper. LOL.

Imagine? I think she prefers visits, which include her father, siblings, and friends. Then she goes home. She had a picture up with a few pulled weeds in the background, that’s how she helps her father.

He turned 95 in January.
