It definately can. Though Ive met some employers that dont care if you have a record as long as you show up and do the job. But those are also the same ones that wont think twice about replacing you if you so much as miss one day.

Jenelle and David really deserve each other. Lazy pieces of crap who have nothing better to do than verbally abuse a 60+ year old woman who has been kind enough to start all over raising a child. I just feel so bad for Barbara all the time.  Who are they to diss her for working at Wal-Mart? Do they feel like they are above that because they assume that if they had to get jobs, it would be better than Wal-Mart?  They need to check themselves. 

If Jenelle was serious about getting Jace back, then she'd move closer to him and Barb. I seriously believe that if Jenelle at least lived in the same school district as Jace is in now, she'd have a way better chance of getting custody.  But of course, we all know she doesn't really want him, she just wants everyone to think she does.  She knows damn well a judge isn't going to rip him from Barb and give him to her unstable ass.  She knows this! That's why she always begging Barb to just concede and agree to change the custody. She knows she won't win in court. Continuance after continuance...who do you think is initiating those? Probably not Barb. What would Barb have to gain by continuing it? Continuing the hearing only gives Jenelle more time to try to prove how much better she is now.

I think that one of the things that I hate the most about Jenelle (and the list is long!) is the way that she actively encourages all her minions to insult and belittle Barb.  She rewards people who write cruel things about how Barb is trying to keep Jace for herself by retweeting them and making the leghumpers all the most desperate to be the special one that she pays attention to.  

I would 100% believe that it is cyberbullying.  On social media Jenelle is in a position of power (having over a million followers) and uses that power to stir up anti-Barb sentiment, content in the knowledge that Barb doesn't have the means to respond.   Barb just has to sit there and even if she doesn't actively follow social media, she would have to be aware that plenty of people on Twitter think she is an evil baby stealing grandmother.  It's a power trip for Jenelle.  She knows that she will never win in court so she gets her kicks from winning in the court of social media.  It doesn't matter if Jenelle actually gets Jace back or not (because we know that she couldn't really give a f*ck) but that people think she is trying.  She gets self-validation and happiness from seeing other people make cruel and unfair comments about the woman raising her child.  She is just a sick, twisted person.

It takes a particular kind of horrible to take happiness from watching people belittle your mother.

Yes, Walmart isn't the same as doing porn but I'm going to compare them right now. It takes a special kind of stupid to think you're worlds above working at Walmart like Barb or McDonald's or above doing porn like Farrah when you 1) don't have a job and 2) fuck everybody for free unprotected. Walmart workers get benefits and put in a hard day's work. Porn stars at big companies have legal jobs too and get tested regularly for STDs and drug use. this is hard to explain, but I've known people without "day jobs", who were even on assistance or disability, who have looked *down* on people who had to wake up for menial jobs.  Like those stupid suckers were morons b/c they weren't even smart enough to work the system!

It pissed me off a lot, I grew up blue-collar & now (as you guys all probs know LOL) I'm a cubicle rat with a decent-ish salary, my life's good, and I feel that, for the most part, as long as I do what I need to do, my life is mine and no one else can come and take it away from me.

ETA that in no way I am I disrespecting people with valid need for assistance in any way, shape or form.  I'm talking about dishonest liars!

I agree with you - however, the sad reality is that for Leah's children, especially Addie who can't receive meals in a school yet, it is either the Lunchable or nothing at all.  We've watched her kids go hungry so at least Addie has something to eat.

To be fair, I don't know how general welfare works, only disability. I have a BIL with Down syndrome and two jobs that add up to full time. He fully supports himself but getting his disability payments for help from a social worker with things like shopping is an absolute red tape nightmare every time even though he is clearly disabled. He pays his rent and bills but needs help with things like meal planning and routine setting occasionally and they suddenly "question" whether he's disabled every few years. My husband is a quadriplegic with two full time jobs and they stopped his Social Security payments for his aide and service dog last year (who he needs to get to work) because of a clerical error. He had to present two years' worth of receipts and a huge variety of medical proof at three different appointments and one clerk would say he was done, another would say whoops we don't have this on record. Finally he just gave up and we pay for absolutely everything out of pocket. 

So I only have experience with that side of things. Both of them work, so despite their obvious disabilities they are weirdly "not" disabled by some definitions. I've heard it's actually easier if you don't. Maybe so many people take advantage that that's why it's like that. It takes a really fucked up person to pretend to be disabled when people have real needs.

I agree...the put downs of Barb for working at Walmart is disgusting. At least she works Jenelle...something you have never done! Her job has kept Jace fed, clothed, a roof over his head and provided health insurance for him. Do Jenelle and David really think they are better than that? Really? I wonder how they think they'll support 5 kids, make car payments, house payment, insurance payments, pay for daycare and buy health insurance with minimum wage jobs? Jenelle is such a bitch to everyone she meets, there is no way she'd ever hold a job for more than a few days. LOL, I'm with you. One of our good friends is a welding inspector and he had to certifications out the wazoo. He makes BIG money, but he also travels a lot. I do not see this as what David did for work.

Me too. My dog won't bite even if he's attacked, he puts in a day's work as a service dog, he's never gotten anybody knocked up and he's been really sweet to me while I'm pregnant.

If Jenelle has to split her pay, that wouldn't have come from Jenelle without a fight. Back when Jenelle was only paying $130 a month in support she was still "fighting for Jace. " The court suspended the child support payments in 2013:

I don't think she is anywhere near ready for the lifestyle change that is coming!!! Sometimes he comes across as so charming (like his flirting with Nessa on the dad's special). I can see why people like him and are drawn to him. He looks like a great person to be around when he isn't too drunk or in a rage. I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs for Kaiser's sake. Jenelle and UBT only care about him to stick it to Nathan and lord it over him. Watching that little guy just makes me really sad for him. Nobody that is around him seems to genuinely care about him other than his dad, whom he rarely gets to see becauae his mom and "step dad" are total trash bags and his dad makes stupid, senseless, and violent decisons. Get your shit together, Nathan! 

Oh, Kieffer. At the time she started dating him, it wasn't clear whether he was a bad influence on him or not. Initially, I thought it was possible he was the instigator for all this careless and selfish behavior. But if anything, she was the bad influence on him. Does he have any random kids ? If he sticks to the 'softer' drugs, I can see him getting his life together far better than Jenelle, who has this pattern of violent and irresponsible actions.

New clip up for next week. 

Let's just get this straight. Nathan offers to make life easier for David and Jenelle by coming and picking Kaiser up from their place.  He's not inviting himself in for tea and biscuits, he is just suggesting that they take 10 steps out the door and put Kaiser in his car.  But David and Jenelle react as if he's told them that he will be moving in on Monday "He's not coming to our house!" like he might infect them with his bad fashion choices and cause David to grow a tiny little man bun.  Nathan is doing them a bloody favor but naturally it is twisted into Nathan wants to invade our house!  We must defend ourselves! Morons. 

Also, Jenelle is naturally ready to have Jace back because every time he is at her place, they are eating crap.  I loved how the camera man zoomed in on Jace's pizza and red drink (cordial?).  

The worst part about this whole clip is when she screams at Barb.  Barb makes a genuine mistake and thinks that Jenelle is asking her to drive up and Jenelle loses her mind in front of Jace.  She sits there, screaming into the phone about how Barb always does this and twists her words and Jace is just sitting there. 

My heart just breaks for him.  His little face lights up when Jenelle says that Barb called, he clearly wants to go back home (can you blame him? He just sat through another insult-Nathan-athon).  And throughout the whole conversation, the camera stays on him and he just looks more and more dejected as Jenelle screams and insults his Meme.  Jace clearly wants to be anywhere but with Jenelle, he keeps looking away and if he could run, he would. The look in his eyes is just heartbreaking.  He looks like a kid who has seen way too much for his age. 

Fuck you Jenelle.  Barb made an honest mistake and you fly off the handle and screech at her over the phone in front of your son.  You deliberately antagonise Nathan and go out of your way to make life miserable for Barb.  Fuck.  You.

Wow it's so obvious how controlling David is in that clip. Right away he makes the decision Nips is not allowed to come to their home. He dictates her texts. Then Jenelle on the phone saying "I have two kids". Big deal, so what. But I'll bet she uses that as an excuse for everything. 

And the saddest part of all was Jace's face while Jenelle was berating Barb. I just wanted to hug that little boy.

That clip is so disgusting. I don't think it's possible to hate her more than I do right now - low life, ungrateful, skanky piece of shit!  I honestly think if I ever had an opportunity to run into her somewhere, I'd walk up and slap the shit out of her, spit in her face, then quietly wait for the cops to come arrest me for assault. I'm going to be 60 in a month and it would be worth it to ruin my perfectly clean record. I've never even had a traffic ticket. But, I'd happily spend a few hours in the can  to be able to slap the smirk off of her nasty face. I know one of you guys would post bail for me :)
