Jenelle: Birther Of 3, Mother To None

Guest

Everyone knows Ensley does not have Down syndrome. Posts suggesting that she does will be removed and warnings issued. Posts such as these leave the impression that an arguably unflattering picture could somehow be construed as a child being disabled is considered ableist and is against the rules of the board.

One who was coached what to write, that's who. Maybe they threatened to take away the food and roof over her head if she didn't? I don't put much past Juhnelle and UBT.

I can just see Jenelle: "Okay, Maryssa, write what I tell you and you won't have to pull the graveyard shift with Ensley tonight."

I'm sure if some sort of POW note analyst was able to interpret that note, they would find a hidden message.

Some people on twitter say the handwriting matches Janelle's handwriting in her childhood diary.  That Jenelle wrote it and claimed Marissa did.  Truly possible.

There is no way a 7 year old would think to write "this day is all about you" or "somewhere in me I do care" it doesn't even look like a child's handwriting to me, it's not like Maryssa can go on instagram and call her out for posting that when it wasn't from her.

Maryssa's only 7? Yeah, there's no way she wrote that. That's not the handwriting of a first or second grader.

The Y's in the handwriting change after the first sentence and the second sentence is a bit different too. The third sentence is where dumb dude stood over janelle and told her to write more like a child, tilt the letters, put some spaces between them and the period. What they forgot is basic letter writing that kids are taught in school, they all start out the same way and those letters aren't written that way. They tried way to hard with this one, but why?

I'm actually not sure exactly how old she is I just know she's close to Jace's age but she's probably a little older.

Even though my major was elementary education, I am a nurse now, so I know developmental stuff, but I don't know a ton about actual child handwriting, but something that struck me as odd, but I didn't mention because I wasn't really sure, so I'll ask you since you seem to have more of a working knowledge than I do...  is it weird that "d" seems to be the only letter written as capital? Like "she" started sentences capitalized, and names and when she wrote happy Mother's Day, but she never wrote lowercase "d", I know adults who do that (I tend to do it with "r" if I'm not writing something for work, or professional, I think my capital r's are cuter than lowercase) but I'm an adult and made a conscious decision about  that, I feel like in school that would be frowned upon, how would a teacher distinguish if a child is using caps to be cute or really doesn't understand what letters to capitalize?  It's probably really nit picky and I really should re-evaluate my life if this is what I'm thinking about, but I don't have kids, my cat is a jerk (not really) and making me pet her for Mother's Day, and my mom passed away a couple years ago, so my Mother's Day is wide open for thinking about things that don't really matter

I work with kids Maryssa's age and I call 100% bullsh*t on that letter.  Kids that age write about themselves even when it is a card for someone else e.g. "Thanks mom, you make the best brownies for me" or the absolute basics "Happy mothers day, thanks for being a great mom".  Unless Maryssa has an extraordinary level of self reflection and maturity, she did not come up with that by herself.  Very, very few 9 year olds would sit down and write a two page letter to their stepmom. And I seriously doubt that with Jenelle and UBT as her *parents*, Maryssa is encouraged to think about her feelings and develop empathy. Not to mention that the handwriting is radically different from the first to the last line on the second page.

If you have a look at the next page, apparently the 9 year old "prays" for Jenelle when she is sad or sick?  Pull the other one.  And if it is true, what does it say about her when the kid includes that in her letter?  There is no mention of good memories or I love it when we do XYZ, it is all about how wonderful and spectacular Jenelle is.  Now maybe the kid really is this introspective and loves Jenelle with all of her heart but when it comes to Jenelle and UBT, you can't trust anything.  I could totally see UBT *helping* Maryssa write that letter and *suggesting* what to write.

More to the point, I read that Maryssa was having a "rough time at home" and Jenelle saw the perfect opportunity for a live in babysitter for her three spawn and rushed in to be a "mother". What a happy coincidence that right as Jenelle needed someone to watch her infant, Maryssa appeared.  How fortunate that unlike Trashbag Tori, Jenelle doesn't have to worry about drug accusations and she can write it off as "Sibling love #momoftheyear #mixedfamilysuccess" Isn't it just precious that Maryssa is around to be "always helping out with all the kids".

Also I'd love to know what Jenelle and UBT "work so hard" at to make sure the kids have a roof over their heads.  Cause from where I am standing, they seem to work really hard at their child-free vacations and Instagram shots and very little time on childcare and safety.  Tiny fragile little Ensley out in the sun on a boat, anyone?

Exactly. I'll be sharing mine with my MIL tomorrow (even though I'd rather not, but it's Mothers' Day and I'm not the only mother in the family). We also have to drive at least an hour to be with her, like Jenelle with Barb (actually Jenelle may be a little closer to her mom as far as driving time). Regardless, if I can do it, Jenelle can do it with Barb, especially since Barb raised her son.

Jenelle SO wrote this or at least dictated it (or maybe UBT did).

Last week, she was bitching about Barb saying they'd made plans to go to the beach with some friends. So, Barb and friends likely rented a house at the beach for a few days and that's why her house is locked and no one's home. No one 'took' Jace and hid from you, Jenelle. You don't have any legal right to see him and his real mother can do whatever the hell she wants without telling you. Ignoring her calls and texts? GO BARB!

Jenelle's really been on a rant lately about Barb ignoring her. Makes me hope that Barb has some info that will stop Jenelle and UBT dead in their tracks when they go to court later this month and that her attorney has advised her to not allow any visits to the swamp.

Jenelle changed her phone number before she posted UBT's sister's phone number, knowing his sister would retaliate and post Jenelle's phone number.

I wonder if Jenelle gave Barb her new phone number.

There it is right there.

For all of Jenelle's rants about Jace being kept away from her, is Jenelle being kept away from her own mother?

ya know I can understand that Babs doesn't want to bring the law down on her child but the more important issue is her son Jace. I've been in Babs shoes and it sucked to be hard on my kid after blaming her loser ex and handing over many thousands and being put through the emotional wringer. I had to allow her to hate me so she took responsibility for her actions. She finally got a job so I'm sure Nana's daycare will be open all summer but it's  better than having to pay for her to live. I paid for a wedding for 250 and the divorce and bankruptcy and everything in between. Then she stole Rx right off my nightstand and I had to blow her up. I'd rather have a mad kid than a dead kid. Sorry I'm still smarting over that clusterfuck.

My son was arrested at 17 for possession of marijuana with intent to sell at school. The school called me and said they could call the cops or I could go and get him. This was the final straw in a string of bad things he had done. The hardest damn thing I ever had to do was tell them to call the cops.  My son hated me for months.  He's now 31 and thanks me all the time for making the decision I made.  He said if I had kept getting him out of trouble he would have never stopped.  He hasn't been in any trouble since then and is now a responsible, successful man.

Sometimes you have to do what isn't easy to help your kid.

Jenelle's childhood diary page on the left, Marissa's letter on the right.

First of all, why would anyone broadcast such a letter. Let's assume for a minute it was written by Maryssa and she wrote it for Mother's Day. Why would anyone take a heartfelt written expression of love and thanks, containing the private thoughts of a shy child and plaster it all over social media. That's just vile, not to mention wrong. Right away any credibility with that child is destroyed. A true mother would treasure her child's words and keep them in her heart. And probably put the letter in a keepsake box to cherish as time goes by. So crass of Jenelle to just put it out there.

That being said, I also doubt that was written by a 9 year old. Too wordy for starters. It was either dictated by an adult or written by an adult.

Did we ever find out why Maryssa is in the trailer trash household full time? Did her mother just give up ?

Our society is so screwed.

When I was Jenelle's age I had my first baby boy. I was so tired at the end of the day I'd either lay down and read or watch trashy Lifetime movies.  This bitch has a new baby, a toddler, and another kid in the house full time.  Plus they're putting together a home? And she finds time to put on corsets, hair creams, and lots of eyebrows. Now add social media up her muddy wazoo.

I should have been born earlier.

Whoo boy, so much to say after all I missed this weekend.

First of all, can't agree more that Jenelle should first be thinking about honoring HER mother on Mother's Day - not all of the kids she can gather up to validate her as some sort of amazing mother. Set the example.

Second, is that letter supposed to be from Maryssa? I'm confused. Wasn't Marysa around way before she gave birth to Endtable? The caption with that IG makes no sense. It sounds like some neighbor kid came to live with them. Either way, Jenelle wrote that letter. "Just remember, somewhere in me I do care" - what kid talks like that???

And lastly, Marysa is the real mom around there. I hope she got a break from watching Jenelle's babies.

Can anyone give an overview of the VMs? I can't listen with my kids around - who knows what Jenelle would say!

@ghoulina I thought the same thing, that Maryssa has been around longer but I think she was only there on the weekend, I guess when endtable was born is when she moved with them full time, but the way Jenelle wrote that it sounds like they didn't even meet untilmendtable was born which we know isn't true.

That's where I'm confused too. Maryssa was only around every other weekend before Endtable was born. How did she get to live with them all the time now? Did UBT tell his baby mama he had a full time job for her as a non paid nanny? He wasn't allowed to even see his son by court order yet he can have primary custody of his older daughter?

It probably just speaks to the fact that all in this circle are incredibly f'ed up. The sister sounds like a winner, Jenelle is a winner (I am of course not using the word literally), David is a winner, we don't know what the two other baby mama's are like. Just because David is/was abusive doesn't mean any of them are quality people either.

Jenelle makes Leah's WV group look like a sweet little church sewing circle.

If Maryssa is shown on camera, she gets paid. I don't know how often she is there at Jenelle's home, but the picture being painted is she is there most of the time. Her mother likely isn't against her child being on camera if she can get some money out of it.

Quote

Re-reading that quote it reads like something Jenelle has said on occasion to Jace. Without ever looking in his eyes as she said it.

isn't that kind of a jerky thing to say?  like, EVERY THING IN ME cares very deeply for my boy-child..."somewhere in me I do care" kind of sounds like the way you feel about the aunt that stole your car & screwed your boyfriend...not that my aunts ever did that (they're kinda boring, LOL) but....know what I mean???

No, it's definitely not a super nice thing. To me, it sounds like something you say when you're breaking up. "Somewhere in me I do care, but I just can't do this anymore".

Jenelle is seriously like Diane Downs/Casey Anthony level of fucked up. She does not know how to be a real human. She imitates shit she sees and it comes out all weird.

I just thought of this, between David and Jenelle they are working their way to riviling the duggers on the title "19 kids and counting"... if it weren't  detrimental to children involved I would love the crap out of Jenelle trying to "mother" 19 kids... but no child should be put in that position.

Maybe if Jenelle didn't start world war 3 over anything Barbra says or does she would have been more willing to arrange for Jace to call Jenelle... or even be with her for Mother's Day. Mother's Day is meant to honor Barb too... who can blame her for not wanting Jenelle to go off and ruin her day too.

And, how the hell would Jenelle know this? According to her, Barb has  her on ignore. It's also been mentioned that she changed her phone number after she put UBT's sister's number on Twitter. She may have texted Barb and told her she had a new number and Barb chose to ignore it. I really, really, really hope Barb has finally had it and will continue to keep her on blast.
