Excellent article and so disappointing.  It is easy to design and good menu and of all people I would think this important to Lisa and Ken. 

 

Keep the selections down to a manageable amount that can be cooked to order.  Simple. There is no reason to fail a Capese salad!   I make it frequently.  No glaze, ever. One chicken breast entree is enough!  A burned pizza being served?!  Why didn't they send it back, I would have?  I just don't get it.  Risotto, no.  Never do that.  It is not a bowl of rice with veggies; has to be made to order and it takes too long to do that.  

 

I am a foodie and good cook.  I could shape those restaurants up in a heartbeat.  She will never ask me though.  Such a shame.  This is not the only bad review I have read.  The internet has many more.

Beverly Hills’ Brandi Glanville Tells Lisa Vanderpump To ‘Grow Up’ After Co-Star Favorites A Tweet That Insulted Her Face

Beverly Hills reality star Brandi Glanville has taken a stand, reportedly against Lisa Vanderpump, after the Real Housewives star favorited a shocking tweet about the current state of Glanville’s face.

 

On March 19, Bravo TV shared a tweet with fans regarding the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special. Along with the tweet was a photo of Glanville’s reunion look, which one fan wasn’t impressed with.

    “Brandi’s face is starting to look like Mama Elsa’s.”

 

After the fan shared the mean-spirited tweet, Glanville’s Beverly Hills co-star, Vanderpump, favorited the tweet, which Glanville eventually noticed and responded to.

    “So nice that certain people favored this tweet #growup.”

 

Although Glanville didn’t mention Vanderpump by name, her Twitter profile is listed among the many Twitter users who favorited the fan’s tweet, and since no other housewives had done so, many assumed it was Vanderpump who Glanville had called out.

Following Glanville’s tweet, her Beverly Hills co-star Vanderpump was called out by another fan, who shared a photo of the 54-year-old leaving practice for Dancing With The Stars years ago. But while the fan was attempting to insinuate that Vanderpump was looking less than stunning, many others disagreed.

 

Vanderpump, meanwhile, responded to the tweet, as well, telling the fan, “Yes after DWTS rehearsal, so honored to have been chosen…thank you for reminder.”

Guys, I met Lisa V. yesterday - at the Dallas airport of all places. She and Ken were strolling along on layover. I wasn't going to say anything, but my friend (who doesn't even watch the show) insisted on approaching Lisa and asking if she would take a picture with me. Lisa gave my friend some sass, "Does your friend speak for himself?" They were friendly enough - Lisa engaged with us, though neither one seemed thrilled about the encounter - not that I blame them - it was a pretty awkward, non-organic, "hey, can I take my picture with you" moment. I would never have done this in L.A. But we were in Texas and no one else around us seemed to have any clue who they were. Ken made it pretty clear he did not want to be in the photo. Giggy wasn't there. Lisa looks exactly like she does on the show. She was very pretty, but wearing a ton of make-up. It was pretty bizarre to run them into at the Dallas airport of all places. I was so embarrassed to be acting like such a fan-boy, but, at the end of the day, everyone on Facebook went crazy over the photo, and I suppose that is all that matters these days!

This isnt the first when Lisa V has been a little shady especially a few years ago when she retweeted a fat tweet about Kyle because she started befriending Brandi in season 4.

Yeah.  Lisa will go there.  She was the only housewife I ever really liked.  From her I got the house porn, the fabulous life and the sass that I require from my Hos yet seemed to be above the petty, immature backstabbing shit.  UNTIL the media got a hold of a rare photo of Adrienne Maloof's face and circulated it.  There was a TMZ (I think) video of Lisa on the sidewalk outside Villa Blanca commenting on it and it wasn't nice.  That's when the perfect veneer of Lisa started to crack for me.

It's amazing to me how they can be so awful to each other and then go back to being friends.

 

When I saw pictures of Kyle and Camille together in Vegas this weekend, I immediately thought of how Alison Dubois told Kyle that if her children disappeared, she wouldn't use her mad psychic skillz to help find them and that her husband would certainly leave her.  Meanwhile, Camille sat there and either giggled or looked amused/scandalized at what was being said to a guest in her house.  I mean, wtf?

 

I'm all about forgiveness but there's a line you cross and then I'm done.  What does it take with the Hos?

For me it's not about "finding fault" - just about people-watching. Lisa is a master at bringing conversations around to herself. Another example is when comforting (or pretending to comfort perhaps) Kyle about Brandi's behavior - Lisa immediately brought it back to herself and her experience with Brandi.

Lisa's hair looks much healthier this season, but I hate her cut and style.  The bump is horrific, and I think she looks like she needs shorter or more layers.  It looks like she's going for the Brigitte Bardot look, and I don't think it's her best.

She has had her lower lip plumped and it gives her the unfortunate "trout mouth."  She could do so much more with her looks to appear younger and more current.  Her wardrobe is trapped in 1980's England.

Lisa V never looks good at the reunions, I suspect that the lighting is a major factor in addition to her wardrobe, jewelry, hair and make up choices.  I must say, when I take Lisa's Season 5 reunion look as separate components, I like it. l like the dress and hair but not together. I waffle on whether or not her dress is "too much" for the reunion, I mean it is, but I am not too put out if a HW goes a little over the top.

There was only a few months between those two pictures (Amsterdam & the Reunion) and yet it looks like she aged years. I'm sure the harsh studio lighting didn't help but I think her hair is the issue. There's an argument to be made for and against long hair on older women. I think it depends on the woman and the hair style. I've had this conversation with the stylist who has been doing my hair for 20 years. She told me that some women older women think the "hair" distracts people from the lines and wrinkles but if it's not styled just right it actually does the opposite.

Yolanda's face looked beautiful in the reunion clip as did Lisar and Eileen.    Brandi looks bloated beyond the filler puff.  I don't think it is the lighting because usually everyone looks better in studio lighting because it is bright and washes out shadows.  Certainly better than on the street and in restaurants.

This is the truth. Lisa never, ever looks good at the reunions. It has always stunned me. The thing is, I was watching several episodes of the awful Vanderump Rules the other day, and the thing that I noticed was how much better she looks on that show. In large part it is because she is often more casually dressed. They showed the episode where they did the photo shoot and she was instructing the group on their various photos, and she was beyond lovely. Her hair looked shiny and healthy, much more natural looking and her make-up was soft. She really is an astoundingly beautiful woman, but she ages herself so much by many of ther fashion, hair and makeup choices.

She's got too many sharp angles for an older woman.  The square jaw, sharp cheekbones and strong brow ridge are fine but she adds to all the sharpness with those stenciled eyebrows, false lashes, pointy Cupid's bow and eyeshadow, that imo, needs to be blended out for another minute or two.  As for the hair, I got nothing.  She should fire her hairdresser, though.  It's just too much.

Now look at this.  She's not powdered to within an inch of her life - she's glowy but not dewy.  The brows are tamed but not stenciled and dark.  Lips look natural and her eyeshadow is hardly noticeable.  She's still got a ton of make-up on but that's No Make-up Make-up done right.  It also helps that she looks happy and not like she's ready to cast a spell on the evil witch on the opposite sofa.

A dash of lip gloss and a touch of mascara??  I'm ho-ho-ho-ing like Santa. The pic I just posted of her was the most natural looking, make-up free pic I could find and even in that picture she's likely using a minimum of 9 products. 

 

Wear whatever makes ya feel good, I say. But I love make-up and know intimately how much makeup it takes to look like you're really not wearing any. LOL Sometimes it takes more skill to do the look like the third picture than the one she wore at the reunion.

When Yo first cut her hair, I didn't like it.  I mean, her long hair with the extensions was awful but I didn't think I liked the style of the new short cut.  But I love it now.  It just took a little getting used to.  That's how it would be like LisaV, too.  She should go for it.

I loved Yolanda's short hair the minute I saw it!  Extensions are over and have been for awhile now except for the housewife shows.

I agree, Lisa needs to lose the extensions.  Jacqueline Smith has similar features and hair.  Here's a recent pic.  Lighter color, highlights, no extensions.  This would be good on Lisa if she's committed to staying long. (And I think she should. Just not that long.)  She could still add extensions for special occasions.  Jacqueline does. The second picture she's wearing them.

Me too!  Eileen looks great.  If she's used any fillers or Botox, you can't tell.  It looks natural.

Agree with this. It's interesting about Le Pump-- she reminds me of Elizabeth Hurley and Kate Beckinsale (sp?) both of whom started out as dark brunettes with heavy brows and, um, more than a bit of facial fuzz and now are coif lightened and plucked (and frosted and tipped) and fake tanned to the nth degree.

Bravo used to have a cheesy 1980s vid of LVP on its site in which she played a vixen. In it she looks quite different, including what appears to be her original nose and, alas, a mustache.
