Leah said on Twitter on the 21st.

You can't run from the issues YOU created.......#JustSaying

Hahahaha some of the responses were great.

I had to run over there and look for myself...everything from the infamous bacon slap to monkey to people giving her the  "girl, PLEASE!" lol. Shocked that Leah didn't scream monkey all over her twitter and go on a blocking/deleting rampage. Shocked that  her fans weren't all over that shit.

Y'all... I never knew this Leah and I have the same birthday (4/24) except I'm 10 years older... It means absolutely nothing, I just find it funny. Btw we also share our birthday with Kelly Clarkson (who is the exact same age as me) and Barbara Striesand.

I went to look at the Twitter, and the what I also found funny (other than the fact that some people did not seem to get the irony in her statement) was literally the tweet before it was "I am not what I have done, but what I have overcome"... So she went from that to "you can't run from a mess you made" wow.

The bolded part reminds me of an episode of King of Queens when Doug is trying to come up with a saying to give to his wife, Carrie. He came up with, "You are not just who I love, you're who I am." I wouldn't put it past Leah to have watched that episode and tweaked the saying. LOL

"You didn't just save my life brown eyes, you made my life worth saving".

One of my favorite shows.

Court was yesterday. I guess if Leah acquired custody, she'd be all over Twitter about it. I see no posts. *evil grin*

Thank you, Jesus God! Sorry for not keeping up, but do we know what the schedule is like right now? Is it Corey gets Ali and Aleeah during the week, and Leah gets them on the weekends? And for Addie, does she still have full custody with no formal set up for Jeremy?

  • Love 2

I remember that person from TWoP. They got their name from that specific King of Queens episode. :-)

Good. I've been stalking the thread for the news. You just know if she got what she wanted it would be splattered all over the place.

Allegedly the decision in the custody case was that Leah and Corey will share 50/50 custody.

It must suck for Cory and Miranda. They probably spend half their time with the girlses getting them on a healthy routine only to have it blown to shit at Leah's.

  • Love 6

Well, I guess I'm not too surprised, tbh. At least this means Corey won't get jipped out of too much time with his daughters. I wish I could believe TR Dues was out of Leah's house so she could focus her time on her children, but I doubt it. Glad that both sides feel happy with the agreement; maybe this means Leah won't run her mouth off about Corey. I really hope her public smear campaign came to the judge's attention and she got some kind of warning to cut it out.

  • Love 1

50/50 isn't a whole lot different than Leah having them on the weekends. Let's hope she gets them Friday after school and Corey picks them up from school on Monday. That's about 3.5 days each and idiot Leah would only be expected to get her high/lazy ass out of bed before noon one day a week to get them to school. I'm assuming the girlses are enrolled in school in Elkview (Corey lives in Elkview, right?). Leah and TR live in Charleston, about 15 miles from Elkview. Maybe TR can take them to school when he takes his own kids.

I'm with you, HeySandy. I really, really hope the judge chewed her ass for blasting the media with lies and bullshit about Corey.

  • Love 2

Even if that Dues guy is out of the house it doesn't matter, she'll have another one moved in in no time.

I'm still doing my rewatch and I'm up to where she met Jeremy. I'd forgotten how fast she moved him in and how she was making the girls tell him they love him when they hardly knew him. Her divorce was barely final and she had already moved in with Jeremy.

I hope her poor choices with men don't ever put those girls in harm's way.

  • Love 3

What kind of judge made that decision??? If it were me, it would take YEARS of Leah making good decisions (no drugs, getting kids to school and appointments on time, single for an extended period of time, living in one residence for several years, not texting and driving, spending money wisely) before I'd change the setup they have now. Cory is CLEARLY better for those girlses. Ugh....

Probably one that still has the old-fashioned belief that "children NEED their mothers!" no matter how crappy, damaging, or neglectful said mother is. I did hear before that West Virginia courts still function on this belief so I guess it is no surprise. If I was their judge she'd be lucky if I gave her unsupervised visitation, after her bad-mouthing Corey to anyone who'd listen. I guess WV hasn't heard of parental alienation either, or how badly it damages children.

Us Weekly has a little more info though the sources are Leah's so the slant is obvious.

I can't believe the judge threw out the tardies. Given all of Leah's conspiracy theories, I didn't think her whining to the superintendent must have went anywhere, but maybe it did. Maybe one or two tardies were mistakes, but no way all of them were, or that Leah, Ms. "I'm being tested for narcolepsy", not only got the twins to school on time but took time-stamped photos every time. Come on. I can't believe anyone with two brain cells to rub together would believe her conspiracy theories either. That don't make no sense.

I hope Leah is clean at least. I wish I believed losing custody was a wake up call and she'll try to do better, but her behavior the last few months doesn't give me much hope.

I remember Kim Zolciak doing the same with her daughters on RHOA. It's the classic "hurry up and get a man attached to my kids so he'll feel guilty about trying to leave" move. To a lesser extent, Chelsea did the same thing with Aubrey and Cole, although I don't think she's as deliberately calculating as Leah and Kim. Edited by BitterApple

Correct me if I'm wrong (I wouldn't want to slander Leah unnecessarily) but wasn't there a point where she briefly dumped Jeremy after he proposed to her, and she went to Corey who said he would consider getting back together with her, but wouldn't promise it would result in them getting remarried or being together permanently. He knew their relationship was fucked up, and he wanted to take it slow and try to fix their problems. Leah didn't think that was good enough, so she told Jeremy she would marry him. That's how I knew she didn't love him. Or either of them. You don't say "either I'm going to marry you or him." She just wanted to marry someone, and Jeremy was easier to manipulate.

Yes, Corey has a happy, healthy marriage with a woman who is a good role model for his daughters. And he has a home that he's lived in for five years. And he has a good job. And he doesn't have a criminal record. And he's not addicted to anything. And he is able to keep his daughters on a good schedule, and is concerned with their health, wellbeing, education, happiness and general welfare. And of course he loves them to pieces.

But one thing that Leah has that Corey never will? A uterus. A utuerus that she carried them in. And to some judges, that's all you need to be a good mother.

Just ask Jenelle and Amber. You know I was just thinking and realized that out of the 8 girls, only half have primary custody of their children, maybe even less because I'm not sure what to consider Farrah, I think she technically/legally has primary custody, but I don't believe she actually spends much time with Sophia. I mean I don't really consider this a true statistical representation, obviously these are girls who got a reality show based on bad decisions on their part, so I don't think they are the standard, but in a court system where it's probably harder than it should be in some cases for a mother to lose custody, that's a pretty high ratio of mothers who don't have custody (save for the fact that I also wasn't sure if I should count Catelynn with the mothers without custody, her case is a little different but at the end of the day she gave up custody so she is staying in the no kid camp). Idk, I just thought that was kinda a high ratio.

  • Love 4

But Amber and Jenelle voluntarily surrendered custody. Once Jenelle was served by Barb she pretty much gave in. Leah is the only one who lost it then continued to fight it.

That US weekly article was so annoying- the tardy allegations were "proved" false? A. No media was allowed in the court so no one knows what exactly was said, and B. Even if a judge did throw out that allegation when making a ruling, that does not "prove" it's false- it "proves" that the individual judge did not find it relevant.

The Ashley weighs in.

I do think Corey always wanted 50/50 but was forced to take action because Leah was such a mess and a danger to the kids. I just hope that he agreed to this plan because he has reasons to think things have changed.

But ugh. That facebook post of Leah's makes me want to ask Corey Tyler what he was thinking. I'm sure the transition was difficult for the twins, but if a picture tells so much without words then Jeff has posted plenty of pictures that showed the twins clean, put together and looking perfectly happy. Shut up Leah. That should have been one of Corey's requests in this parenting plan.

Yeah I think Corey has always just wanted his fair share of time with the girlses, and with the fact they all live in close proximity to each other there was never any reason why he shouldn't have had it. I wonder, since he has equal custody, if he is under any obligation to pay child support. I've been under the impression that neither side has to pay CS if its 50/50, but I don't know if Leah isn't grasping at some loophole. I hope not, and I hope Corey and the Simms have good grounds to believe she has changed. I don't really, but I'm a cynic that doesn't know them so I can't say much.

Seriously, though, how has Leah not got popped in the jaw for all the crap she spews? I know the Simms are too classy to go there, but surely someone close to them has been close to giving her a verbal or physical beat down. She needs to grow the hell up and keep her mouth shut, or else one day she'll say the wrong thing to the wrong person and have her ass handed to her.

The Ashley article said that Corey and Leah would split medical expenses 50/50. I sure hope Corey doesn't have to start forking out child support again and can't see why he should have to. I'm honestly quite shocked that Leah isn't pregnant again.  Since TR already has a couple kids to support, she's probably holding out until she finds another childless sucker with a decent job to knock her up.

  • Love 3

That's a good thing. Wasn't Cory the only one paying the medical bills or at least a majority of them? I think it was 80/20 before.

I remember something from a few years ago about medical bills. Leah agreed to let Corey pay a lower monthly amount of child support so he could pay more of the medical bills. Then she bitched because he didn't pay all of them fast enough and claimed some had been sent to collections. I remember her whining to Germy about it and saying she was going to take him back to court to get her support raised. I'm sure Corey insures the girls through his job (can't imagine Leah finding and paying for health insurance) so it's only fair that she pays for 50% of all the out of pocket expenses. I hope she was ordered to pay for 50% of all of the extras like activities, too. Unlike Leah, Corey and Miranda have a house payment and all of the other expenses that come with owning a home. Plus 3 kids to support. Possum Princess has to make rent and maybe a car payment with her MTV money plus the $1700 Germy pays every month for Adderall.

  • Love 6

She'll be waiting for a long, looooong while for a decent guy with a decent job to come around again. She had two of those guys already and she treated them like garbage. What with her last two marriage failures and all those rumors about pills and infidelity out in the open, I doubt any sort of decent guy will want her drama. She'll be lucky if TR or the next guy doesn't sucker her out of the few TM2 paychecks she has left to look forward to.

  • Love 5

Not saying her latest is a great guy, in fact I really doubt that he is, but I am sure the fact that he is black has SOMETHING to do with the fact that she's not already knocked up. I recall Jeremy posting some vaguely racist comments on twitter when news of her new relationship became public knowledge.

I agree. The articles I've read make it sound like Corey and Leah agreed to 50/50- not that the judge gave Leah back more time over Corey's protests.

If I am reading this right, Leah picks up the girls Thursday after school and then brings them either to school or to Corey's Monday morning (one agreement says she has them Thur-Sun but I think they mean she has them through Sunday) and then Corey picks them up Monday after school and has them until school Thursday morning. And then once a month Corey has them on the weekend, so Corey actually has a little over 50%.

Although he gave up a day and a half (Sun and Thurs evenings) this actually works out better for him, I think, (provided Leah can be trusted to provide adequate supervision), because with the way the agreement was before, he didn't get ANY full days with the girls because Leah had them every weekend. So, if he worked late, he probably wouldn't see them. So this was probably a win-win (well, as close to a win-win as you can get when your opponent is Leah).

but I am sure the fact that he is black has SOMETHING to do with the fact that she's not already knocked out. I recall Jeremy posting some vaguely racist comments on twitter when news of her new relationship became public knowledge.

I wondered this as well. I wonder what her backwoods family thinks about his race. Jeremy's comment was about the "next one being an oreo and nasty" which a lot of people interpreted to mean Leah was either already pregnant with Dues' baby, or the fact that it was Leah meant it was only a matter of time before she was pregnant with his baby. Jeremy later clarified he was talking about taking flavored shots. No opinion as to whether that's the truth.

  • Love 3

The Leah snark is strong on Instagram today, apparently Gracie had a cheer competition and she posted pics in the car where car seat straps are done wrong... You would think Leah would learn not to post car photos at this point, people are looking to point out something wrong with car seats, I kinda get to the point where I cringe a little when people post car seat pictures because it seems someone somewhere is going to take issue, don't get me wrong it is a big deal, car safety is hugely important, but it seems like car seat pictures draw a lot of negative attention so if someone had the tendacy to recieve a lot of "hate" I don't know that I would post pictures that invite that... But the car seems to be the only time Leah is with her kids otherwise they run free.

I also want to shake Leah and repeat that the past tense of "see" is SAW... not seen until she understands, that is literally probably my biggest grammar pet peeves.

Is it old news that her and TR broke up? I just saw an article but that whole relationship has been so kinda shady that I'm a little confused as to when they were actually together, since they were dating long before she fessed up to it, I don't remember officially hearing it was over, but is anything ever officially over with her?

  • Love 3

There are times when there are actual safety concerns for other peoples children. These times include photos showing a child playing with a very sharp knife, poking something metal into an outlet, practicing their beam routine on the ledge of a very tall building, infants and toddlers not using any car seat, and other actually dangerous things. But holy crap does the internet get all huffy about the slightest infraction! Child walking at the beach with no life vest? Obviously supervised, and helping in the kitchen? Riding any kind of wheeled toy in their backyard and not wearing a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards? Walking by a table that lacks soft protection around the corners? Man the pitchforks!

Yes, there are legitimate safety issues that people may do, and that we all lived through and still shouldn't put that risk on another child. There's video of me learning to ride a two wheel bike for the first time, and I'm wearing sandals and no helmet. And I fell down in front of my parents! I got right back up and kept going. I just hate the faux outrage about every little thing. Not to mention the fact that a photo is literally one moment, and whatever is wrong could be corrected. The worst I've seen was the people mad at Jill Duggar when she posted a photo of her infant.... laying near an electrical socket that did not have a plastic cover! The horror.

(edited)

She tweeted that one of the girls "done so well" on something.

The grammar of most of these girls makes me cringe. Amber with her constant double negatives is another one that makes my ears hurt.

You must remember, the schools are not well in West Virginia. It's not Leah's fault that her grammar is so dramastically bad!

On my rewatch on Hulu, I just saw the episode where she and Jeremy get engaged and she finds out she's pregnant.

When she's telling her sister she took out her birth control she says she wants at least 5 kids. I'm really surprised she's not pregnant again.

I forgot about this. Honestly, just knowing that there's a strong possibility that she will bring 2+ more children into the world is making my eye twitch.

I think TR had two, so that would have meant five between them. But I'm pretty sure in her mind, Leah wouldn't count a step child.

I'm sure at some point she'll be a step mom (again), and I'm sure she won't be a good one. First of all, Leah demands 100% of her partner's attention so having to share the spotlight with a kid that's not her's doesn't seem like a Leah thing to do. Secondly, we've seen how poorly she gets along with her ex's spouse. I have no reason to believe she will successfully get along with a spouse's ex.
