Not only is she claiming abuse, but she claims they went to jail for what they did to her.  It seems like we would have heard about this before now, if not through Farrah, but the various media sources that report on crappy reality stars.

 

This would have definitely come out when Debra and Farrah had the altercations with the knives and Farrah called the police on her.

The vibe I get from them is that it's something to do with money. Not MTV money, but something fishy Michael and Debra did that would get them in trouble or would look bad if people knew. Maybe not straight-up illegal, but something shady or unethical. I had the impression back during the 16 and Pregnant days that Debra owned some real estate. Maybe she was fiddling the books or writing off some private expenses as business expenses or something -- anyhow, Farrah knows about it. She is willing to keep the secret, but it's her ace in the hole. They know she could blab about it any old time, so they kiss her ass. And she knows they know, so she lords it over them. That's my theory. 

 

I used to think Michael was generally pretty normal, but I am now convinced that he is a deeply fucked up person who does a good job of impersonating someone normal, cuz there is no other explanation for the fuckery in that family.

If they dare to say the truth to Farrah or finally put an end to this bullshit, she will pull the rug from underneath them and tell them to fuck off and how they won't see Sophia again. We know Farrah would dump her child anywhere. She has even left her alone with a next door neighbor in Florida. Can you imagine leaving one's child with a stranger?

If Farrah had been born with a physical deformity I don't think people would be quick to blame her parents. It is a big possibility Farrah is just an ass or she has a couple of mental disorders going on that heighten her asshole ways. Farrah has a sister who has lashed out at Farrah for her antics on the show. Her sister also called her sister's sex tape an embarrassment. This is the same sister Farrah put the blame on when she was arrested for DUI. What a lovely sister. She gets a DUI but she throws her sister under the bus instead of taking ownership.

 

Farrah has laid out many, many lies. She even claimed she was raped by the porn star who was hired to be in her porn tape. She denies her DUI. I don't believe her claims about her parents being abusive. If they smacked her or slapped her across the face, I am sure she deserved it. I know I want to punch her in her face at times.

Yes she would. She told Dr. Jen on that VH1 show some shocking information. It was sooooo shocking, it couldn't be divulged by Dr. Jen. I laughed out loud at that claim. Dr. Jen is a fool for having fallen for Farrah's lies. It would seriously be fucked up on Farrah's part to leave her child with two people whom she has claimed such horrendous abuse. Farrah must have looked up child abuse on the internet to get information before her appearance on the VH1 show.

The funny thing is that I am watching another show where random people are making postings about one of the participants having an arrest record.  People are, rightly, saying that you not disparage someone's character in that manner unless you have some hard evidence or indisputable proof.

 

Farrah is doing this to HER OWN PARENTS!  She is happily dragging their name through the mud to extend her fame and gain sympathy.

 

Instead of refuting the claims of his crazy daughter, all Michael's response is "buy my book, to find out the truth".  What the hell!

 

Your daughter just made claims of horrible abuse at your hands and you just shrug your shoulder and pimp your crappy book?  If you do not refute her claims a lot of people will believe what she is saying.

 

How long do you think it is going to be before Sophia complains about you at school and someone calls CPS on your ass, thinking you have a history of being an abuser?

Farrah infantilizes Sophia so much that she still carries her around like she's a toddler. I can't imagine Bentley or lil Leah wanting to be carried like that. Even Alli of Teen Mom 2, who has difficulty walking, is not toted around by her parents like a purse. With all the fuss she made about her own parents, I wonder if Farrah even considered leaving Sophia with DaddyDerek's parents while she went to the U.K.

My kids are all adults, but if I had a child that age? Lord no! The idea gives me the shivers. I couldn't tolerate having Farrah as a neighbor much less have her daughter be close to my kids.

I'm going to say something that may sound crazy, but I think Debra and Michael are just fine with Farrah throwing out these accusations because it gets them attention, too. In fact, I wouldn't put it past them to come up with this stuff together. All three of those idiots are fucked up beyond belief. There's ways of proving those types of things, but you really wouldn't have to look for arrest records, the fact that Farrah wasn't taken from her parents is proof that it isn't true.  if parents are arrested for abuse, the kids are taken. I was by no means a perfect parent and I made my share of mistakes and lost my temper and cursed and all but not on a day in day out basis the way it seems with this family.

She moved back to Iowa/Nebraska when she finished "college" in Florida.  Then she had a falling out with Debra, packed up her stuff and moved to TX to be close to Sophia's other babysitter.

That's the thing. They insist on wearing it to school and you say "ok, but there may be consequences." And being called into the principal's office is a consequence...as a parent you would reinforce that (in this specific instance).

 

What Sophia is learning is that the rules don't apply to her, just like they don't apply to her mom or grandma. 

 

I imagine she's the type of child who says rude things to adults because that is what is modeled for her. It must be exhausting to be her teacher.

I am thinking more and more that Farrah is a sociopath. She has a lot of the symptoms. She doesn't seem to care about anyone but herself, she disregards the feelings of others, she lacks empathy, is irrational, glib and superficial, lies about being abused by her parents (Casey Anthony, anyone?), doesn't seem to be able to make friendships or maintain relationships, uses people and treats them like objects, is always hostile and angry, thinks she is better than others, is very shallow, has apparent lack of insight into herself, is manipulative, has no remorse for her terrible behavior, etc., etc., etc.

I don't believe a word Farrah says. And if proof ever comes out that she was sexually assaulted by James Dean (or whoever else she claimed -- she has claimed that other people took advantage of her at "industry" events) or that her parents were abusive, then I will feel bad for her and eat crow about being wrong. But till then, I have no issue not believing a word. This girl has lied about things that are on video or otherwise recorded -- why in the world anyone could take her word for it when it comes to things that she has no evidence of (if her parents were arrested, there would be a record, end of story) is just beyond me.

 

I think her parents are spending money hand over fist, and are barely taking any in, hence having to live in Farrah's delusions. They seem to constantly be traveling or moving, Deb has her surgeries. Her dad seems to maybe have work, but how he can take a month to be a full time caregiver seems off (hence Deb helping but still). Maybe he has his own business so he can set his schedule, but I doubt any company would be happy having their employee away that long. And Deb says she lost her job (fired? quit?) to be away? Whatever it is, Farrah is their current meal ticket and they will do whatever they need to keep it that way. Michael kind of seems like he's pulling away from it (he stood up to Farrah where no one else has), and I think he has a very different relationship with Farrah as compared to Deb's. I almost feel like he knows the women in his life are crazy, but he begrudgingly puts up with it to be grandpa/dad. I feel like if Michael was Sophia's sole guardian, she would be better off. 

 

Edit: just looked at photos from this fashion show.. is the entire left side front row empty? Then rows are empty behind Farrah and Sophia while they are sitting down.

I knew someone who worked I the adult industry on and off for ten years. She only knew of one girl, one time, who was slipped a pill in a drink, and the girl realized what happened and was not harmed. I find it hard to believe that this happened to one girl multiple times. Especially since I'd be guarding my drinks like Ft Knox if it happened once!

Word to all of this.  Farrah is a lying liar who lies.  I have the greatest sympathy for victims of abuse and assault, but will not believe anything she says without solid proof.  She is too wrapped up in her own delusions to be credible.

I agree that she was a cute kid- I still think she is attractive but looks distorted. I think the most distortion comes from her lips. I would hope they deflate over time and she can look more normal.
