I don't think she has a current drivers license.  A few years ago she was busted for driving on a suspended license.  I doubt she ever got around to reinstating her license.

Also, Indiana may be one of those states where you lose your driver's license if you have IRS lien.

She is completely ignoring her $130,000 lien.  No possessions are in her name.  I figure she's going to wait the 10 years out.

Amber is hoping MTV will still be around. If not, what the fuck will she do?

Amber has always been a shitty parent. She always left Gary to do the majority of the parenting work.

Gotcha....I thought you guys were talking about these flipped houses they supposedly have. So all of her talk about moving into such a fancy neighborhood like she's "arrived" and she's just renting?

And about her "job" - didn't she say she was busy being a mom?  To one school-aged kid who she gets one day a week?  And it takes the two of them to manage all of that?  Such losers. OMG.

So basically they will live on a street corner and depend on the kindness of strangers.

"They"?  There is no Matt and Amber once her money is gone.  She (foolishly) gave him the cash to buy the 3 flip houses and the cash to remodel them.  She paid off most of the Babymommas.  Dude has thousands squirreled away somewhere.  I'm sure he would tell Amber that $500 worth of paint costs $1200.  She's too lazy to ask for receipts --- and if she did, he'd buy the $1200 in materials, show her the receipt, return the merchandise and pocket the refund.

This is true. Hence why he already has his sights on Jogger Lady.

I forgot the reunion is on tonight. Amber had a comment about it. How many are hoping it gets edited????

She's threatening to leave the show if whatever "she"(Farrah?) was edited out?  Yeah, okay.

I read all the documentation provided when that tabloid opined that MTV paid her rent, and maintain that they forwarded the money she owed for rent out of Amber's pay. I do not believe MTV paid to rent her house for her. It was her money that had not yet been dispersed. This is not completely uncommon in legal cases, with a promise to pay a provider when a settlement is reached. I really think that is what happened in this case.

It's also not uncommon for production companies to rent houses to film in, so the thought that MTV being on the invoice meant they were paying her rent for her out of MTV's money was not out of left field, but the timing supports that she was waiting on her pay.

Amber looked awful on the check-up with Dr. Drew in her Marilyn (?) persona. Even though her rant about Farrah was earned, her defense of that sleaze that she is with was disgusting. This episode didn't show the fight, which will be in part two, but Amber was already itching for a fight with Farrah.

She also said she has been recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is news I missed.

I did not go into details, but yes, I am aware of how things went down with Amber's rent. The point of my comment is, MTV paid Amber's rent, regardless if the first time it was paid via Amber's future earnings. Point is, she could not bother to keep up with her rent.

Of course it is common knowledge that homes are rented out for filming purposes however on this show, the cast members are not provided homes for filming purposes. They have bought homes outright or rented their residences. Amber lied about buying this particular home. It is no secret she has money problems. It would not be shocking to find out if MTV set her up in this house by paying the lease.

I thought earlier this season she said she was BPD but now that I'm thinking about it, she had a bipolar diagnosis. Borderline Personality Disorder is no joke. I can't imagine having that or having to deal with a person who has that. A great book to read on the subject is Get Me Out of Here by Rachel Reiland.

It could be that she was misdiagnosed. I had a doctor who thought Lamictal was the end all and be all of meds but when it made me more depressed and suicidal, he decided it wasn't the drugs fault but that I was BPD. The criteria in the DSM-IV or V overlap with depression. Thankfully I was able to find a great psychiatrist who listened to me when I told him Lamictal was the problem and that Prozac always worked for me. I don't get the "I hate you, go away, please don't leave me" vibe from Ambah.

There are absolutely gorgeous houses for sale in Anderson, Indiana in beautiful neighborhoods where most people would love to live. Maybe they have a weak rental market though. I thought Amber's getup was ridiculous. She was all "me, me, me) without once giving an ounce of consideration about what would be best for Leah, just like when she chose a house so far away from her daughter.

It just dawned on me. I remembered a friend of my sister who owed the IRS around $5k. After three years, the IRS. took that money from her bank account.

Could  Amber have put her money in someone else's name (Matt) at the bank? I imagine the IRS has tried to attach a lien to her bank account that may be sitting there empty or she closed the account.

The IRS isn't stupid. At some point they'll just attach her MTV money and auction everything including  that ugly ring. Think Willie Nelson

Amber is paid by MTV as a 1099-independent contractor.  Her MTV wages cannot be garnished to pay the $130,000 IRS lien or other debts, owed child support.

The freelancers deduct taxes from the 1099 themselves. If an employee has his wage garnished, the employer has the responsibility to take the settlement out of the paycheck. The employer is released from that obligation if the employee becomes a 1099 private contractor or a freelancer.

She most likely gets the check from MTV, cashes it quickly and gives the cash to Matt.

Amber was so sanctimonious last night I could have closed my eyes and envisioned Kail. How in the hell can she put on airs about anything when she committed domestic violence against her baby's father on national TV? I don't give a damn how many pornos Farrah has filmed. She is flawed, but so the hell is Amber! And Farrah actually tried to be a decent friend to her about the situation with Matt and tell her that he'd contacted her and that she deserved better. That was one of the kindest things I've seen her do, and Amber and Matt threw it in her face. They are both petulant children.

I am  freelancer and our household income derives from 1099s from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes, etc. I ended up owing $3500 in taxes for 2015. Federal put me on a manageable payment plan of $350 per month (I set the amount myself). However, getting through to state to do the same was like pulling teeth. I filled out the paperwork to pay half one month and half the next, but I never heard from them. (I owed them $650 but couldn't pay it in April because my son had been in an accident and had emergency surgery so we were broke.)  For the next 4 months I kept trying to get in touch with someone at the state level to work out a payment option with me. Finally, in September, I received a letter stating that they were going to put a lien on my bank account. They couldn't garnish my wages because I don't actually have them. When I received that letter, I was finally provided with a phone number that went through to someone. We worked it out. The whole thing was very frustrating.

This year has been different. I pay quarterly taxes and keep 20% out each month. I didn't do that last year because I kind of got a windfall of sales all at once, at the end of the year. The amount I earned for October, November, and December was 3 times as much as the amount I earned in all of 2014. I was totally unprepared as to how to handle that.

I was reminded of that Roseanne scene where she confronts David's mother about him moving into their home. Roseaane told her. "People in glass WHORE HOUSES shouldn't throw stones." That is Amber. She is pointing a finger at Farrah, but she has four fingers pointing right back at herself.

I have no doubt that in some way, MTV was involved in her getting the rental. They may have signed as guarantor, but more likely, they advanced money out of her pay. As far as the offer being accepted, someone with unstable income, shaky credit and multiple evictions would not be able to sign a normal lease whereby the tenant pays 1/12 of the year's rent each month. What most likely happened is that Amber or MTV offered to pay for the entire years rent in one payment. When you do that, sometimes you can cut a deal with the landlord for a reduced price, given that they will be getting all the money up front. Another theory is about the offer being accepted is that the landlord imposed specific restrictions on renting the house, knowing that 1) Amber, a high risk tenant would be moving in and 2) that there would be filming going on. Perhaps the tenant said no filming in the house or a restricted amount of filming or perhaps filming in certain rooms only. Or perhaps there was a negotiation about the many pets Amber has, and perhaps they offered to pay more than the lease amount to cover the possibility of damage. There are many scenarios in which there is an offer and acceptance, even for a rental, because a lease is a contract, and a contract is essentially an offer and acceptance.

Finally watching the reunion, and I don't think Amber has ever looked this fugly.

I fell asleep on first watch, so I watched the rest in bed when I woke up in the morning. My husband woke up to see Amber on the screen and asked, "What's that?" I told him - "That's Amber". He then asked, "Okay, but who is she?" I told him, "One of the Teen Moms". He was all bewildered - "SHE'S a teen?" I said, "Well, no. Not now. She's around 26, I think." His response - "She looks about 46". I told him that's what everyone on my forum says!

Then he marveled over her shoes and legs and finally stumbled out of the room to get some coffee.

Agreed.

Amber made a VERY bad choice in the "coming out" makeup and attire. If I was post surgery and wanted to showcase my new look I certainly wouldn't make myself look uglier than before I had the surgery.

It was just too much of everything, she looked like a sprinkling of Elvira, Morticia, and someone Marilyn Manson may fancy with a helping of Marilyn Monroe hair - just the hair.

The lipstick was gross.

The stylist could have found her a more post surgery dress that would've been more flattering- I could see a staircase of rolls (backfat?) really well with that dress. Other dresses would have made her look a lot more slimming.

I now see Simons "Trotting like a hippo" tweet. She really did have that "I'm all that and a bag of chips with 50% more inside" attitude when she in fact looked WORSE than ever.

Well then.

I try not to bag on someone's looks, because I'm sure I've got a lot of shortcomings in that area, but I don't get why the makeup people made her Drew-side cheek look like someone hit it with a 2 x 4. It was this weird sqaure purple smear, my wife's all "That's blush!" and I was surprised someone crafted that look on purpose.

I just think that this poor girl has horrible, horrible self-esteem.  She desperately needs to be in therapy, she's reaching outside herself for things that are impossible to get that way.

I couldn't help it, I just kept wanting to give her a hug.

Also, if "Queen Farrah" were really "above everyone', she would NOT be behaving this way on social media.  Dumbass.

Amber's crying, yelling at Gary, general unreasonableness, ridiculous excuses, and running off stage like a child pretty much highlighted why she doesn't deserve more time with Leah. Gary was being very calm and reasonable, and Amber was a mess. Gary said Amber hasn't seen Leah on her Wednesdays all year. Was this not filmed in October? That would mean for 10 months Amber has had excuses to not see her daughter, for approximately 40 Wednesdays. Even if it was filmed a few months before that is a still an amazing amount of time to miss, and then she has the nerve to minimize it and make it sound like she had good reasons for not being there. And we know she has missed weekend visits too, for whatever lame excuses she comes up with: traveling, being in the hospital, depression, not feeling well, surgery, etc. Her words mean nothing because her actions (or lack of actions) speak volumes. Poor Leah.  The last few shows have clearly shown she is growing up and is not buying Amber's bullshit excuses for not putting her as a priority. Amber has all the time in the world, and if she wasn't such a worthless, selfish, lazy "mother", she could have proved herself to Gary and had Leah for overnights by now. Amber knows the courts would never side with her so she doesn't even try with them. I am proud of Gary for putting Leah first and being calm but firm with Amber.

Amber barely held it together during the reunion and I was uncomfortable watching it. It's bizarre to me how, at times, Amber came off looking fairly put together and reasonable. She was logical, soft spoken, and even made a few jokes. But man, something sets her off and she totally cracks. I mean, very little surprises me about this shit anymore and I was actually taken aback by her outbursts and breakdown.

Every time I see scenes of her with Matt I am taken back to the movie GASLIGHT. She was always a little nutty, but I think she's barely holding it together now.
