So, I have never watched an episode of Big Brother, was passing by the live feed tonight and flipped it on to see what the hype was about (oh, and to get a glimpse of Omarosa in action).  I don't know any of the rules or how people get voted out or anything. I assume I'll pick it up as I go along? Because now I'm hooked. Crap.

I wonder what they had to promise Omarossa to come back?  A promotion spot for her book on The Early Show, The Late Show and The Talk?  Sensitivity training for the house?  Marissa's head on a plate?  Shemar Moore?

A dog (terrier)!   The name was more the choice of my parents, and I had to go along with it.   I'm sure I would have picked something cuter and more appropriate -- especially had I known it would become part of my porn name in 2018!   

You mentioned in a previous post that BB keeps cutting away from the interesting conversations.  You read my mind.   I think it was earlier yesterday/Saturday  when I was watching a chat between Mark and Brandi -- not about game, but just about infidelity, men who will cheat vs. men who won't cheat even if they have the chance, etc. -- and, for some reason I found it very interesting to hear their thoughts on it.   Mark had some good insight, and Brandi seemed to be in agreement.   She also made sure to mention that after her ex-husband cheated on her, she underwent a (revenge) vaginal rejuvenation procedure and made him pay for it on the credit card even though they were breaking up.  Her ex told her that a reason for cheating on her/leaving her was that their sex life was not what it used to be, and so she went out and got tightened up so that the next guy she slept with would reap the benefits (while making the ex pay for it).  I found this all very fascinating, for some twisted reason.  Mark seemed to find it fascinating as well.

Sure enough, the camera cut away when they were in mid-conversation, and that is an annoying trend that happens way too often every year on this show.  Whether they are talking game and strategizing, or just talking about harmless things like favorite movies, or sharing experiences from their own lives, BB never fails to switch to another camera when the talk is getting good.

I am surprised they didn't  cut out of Brandi's rejuvenation conversation!  Someone was asleep at the wheel. 

Yes BB has always done this but this season we are missing some good stuff,  not just an HG talking about someone who didn't give permission to be mentioned.  

They were discussing net neutrality and if and when that was going to go through.  Omarosa said she cannot tell as if she knows.  Oh good god. No one knows, until congress votes if that is what we are waiting for. She has not  been privy to secret talks!

Her name is all lower case with no space.  This variation sliped through the cracks I guess. 

I think Omorosa is the easiest to beat in the end so she might be dragged along.

Yeah I saw that. Still confusing.  I agree Omarosa would be the ultimate goat but seriously, she's so manipulatively toxic I would think it wouldn't  be worth it. IMO

I don't think Omorosa will be a goat.  She  causes way too much angst.  Her racist accusations are not likely to stop either.  She had a reputation with that on the Apprentice.  

I caught the end of a conversation I think Ross was having with Keisha.  It seemed to me that Keisha had turned away from Omorosa.  Is that right?

Sadly, it looks like Ross/Marissa are looking to get rid of Shannon tomorrow. They think it'll be a good game move, and sadly, as much as I prefer Shannon to most of the other houseguests, they're right. But this will blow up in Ross' face when he becomes the next target, and I can't wait for that to happen. 

So, basically, if Shannon or James don't win veto tomorrow, Shannon's gone. I include James in this because he likely won't use the veto because his two targets are up on the block.

Keshia now blames Omarosa for the alliance to fall apart. It's because Omarosa, I believe, told Shannon about Keshia's conversations with Chuck, which got Shannon's paranoia riled up and led to Chuck's eviction.

Not when Shannon's won HOH and veto, and threw the last HOH so it can't be known if she would have won. Plus, Shannon's a superfan while James is an annoying douche. In their mind, Shannon is the one to beat....despite Shannon not going after Ross or Marissa. Rule one in Big Brother: if someone's not going after you, maybe don't target them this early. I know it's a good game move, I can recognize it, but it's also just plain stupid for Ross because who does he think is going to be the next target? Is it really going to be James? Is it really going to go back to Keshia/Omarosa? Or are people going to look at Ross next? I don't know why he thinks getting rid of a bigger target than him is going to keep him safe.

I see Shannon as a safe nomination; Ross will not suffer any consequences; she is seen as the biggest threat by all of them.  I don't see him as the next target because of this. Ross has a good social game naturally.  At some point he will get the 'I don't want to sit next to him in the end' boot. 

Omorosa will be an easy no blood on hand nomination.

I agree.  This is an 18 day stint and when you are voted off you go home, not to a jury house.  There are 10 days left.  They were there for a few days before it aired so maybe 21 days tops. 

ETA. She is probably able to do face time with him once a day.

Well, "most of the world" tends to wean later due to necessity borne from lack of clean water and nutrition.   Health benefits for nursing babies over the age of one in a first world country are negligible at best. In fact, new studies have shown that the benefits of breastmilk compared to formula are fairly few, past studies concluding the benefits weren't taking socio economic status of the mothers and genetics between siblings into account. Breastfeed your kid till college for all I care, but don't try to make others feel guilty for thinking it's odd when you're nursing your school aged child in a first world country.

Ross and Marrisa should not go after Shannon now. Just because they did well in the HOH, I guess they think they don't need her now. Shannon is outnumbered and keeping her protects them. As said above, she is not going after Ross and Marrisa. They can talk her into getting diid of James later. I don't think this is a good game move.

Ross is going to be a target soon. To likeable to allow in the finals.

It's easy to do when Production wants to protect you/the twists of the game are all to your benefit.

The feeds haven't worked for me in 2 days, so I have no idea what's going on really. Is anyone else having problems with them? Mine just won't load. I would use BBViewer, but I actually prefer watching on the website.

I think that Shannon could easily turn on Ross/Marissa. She's a scattered player who is very paranoid and neurotic so it's hard to predict what she'll do. And on top of the that she is the #1 competitor in there. I still agree though that getting her out now is the wrong move, but I don't think it's necessarily a disaster. 

I think their best bet is to get rid of Omarosa or James. Omarosa won't win the game and isn't likely to win many comps either, but she's dangerous for other reasons. And James is just an asshole who also might be able to win comps and win the game.

I understand why they are targeting Shannon but I don't agree that is the best option.  Omorosa is.

I started watching since so many people were saying this season was great so far and it is. I don't really understand why Ross is going after Shannon, but I would love it if she got wind of what is going on and won veto. Only to use it on Omarosa. Omarosa is annoying, but it would be stupid to not keep someone who everyone dislikes there. Omarosa is also a dangerous player, mainly due to her social game. Keisha, not so much. If Shannon plays her cards right, she'll have Omarosa and James as her shield while she can continue doing other things.

That being said, I hope Metta wins everything. He's hilarious.

Shannon because of animal rescue, and James because of his complete lack of personality, and super self awareness every minute.  I find it FASCINATING to watch a guy like this!

I dont think Marissa could stop talking, even if she was in a coma.  For some reason I find Ross' complete paranoia and consistent babbling adorable, but Marissa's is on my LAST nerve...the "attention seeking" is on my LAST nerve.  I would love to see her on the block?

I thought Marissa and Shannon were friends outside of this house. But I guess since Marissa found Ross, she's given a middle finger to that friendship. I mean, it's hilarious to see the outside friendships being broken up within the house (James/Chuck, now Marissa/Shannon).
