I'm also trying to work out Ross' logic in getting rid of Shannon: does he trust Keshia/Omarosa now? Does he not think that, if they win HOH next, he won't be the target? Who does he think they're going to target? Is he just hoping that someone else other than them wins HOH so that he's safe? I mean, he just demonstrated that just because you're in an alliance with someone when they win HOH, it doesn't mean you're not the target.

If Ross doesn't want to do it, which I suspect he doesn't and it's more Ari/Brandi/Marissa (why Marissa?), then he shouldn't. I think, in his gut, he knows getting out Keshia or Omarosa is the best plan. Unfortunately, he's let himself entertain the idea too long and now the train is already heading full force to the eviction station, and he has no choice but to do it now. I bet part of him is hoping for Shannon or James to get picked for veto and they win, so that the noms stay the same.

Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the episode:  Marissa did not bean Omarosa with a bowling ball. She went to the hospital with an asthma attack. It was the bowling challenge from last season. I'm wondering if there's anyone on here who has asthma, did Omarosa look like she was having an asthma attack? Or can you feel it coming before showing symptoms like gasping and wheezing?

Also, I was surprised when we discovered that James could have won HOH, and would have won in like four seconds, if not for Shannon asking him to throw it. It turns out that asking James to be a team player will likely get her evicted tomorrow.

Shannon's going to feel like a fool, that's for sure. I hope she can at least blow up Ross/Marissa before she leaves with their F4 deal. That way, Ross will become a target and so will Marissa.

My daughter has asthma, and when she’s had attacks she has not had enough breath to walk far distances and ask for help in a normal sounding voice. Her hospital admissions were also longer than 12 hours. But I’m sure everyone is different...

Finally, someone says it ! Whats the point of a seven person alliance in a 9 person game. LOL Mark said that.

And again, the HOH's desire does not matter. He has no say after POV. Thats why you put up two people and don't care who goes home.

OMG, Marissa walked in again.

I am hoping Mark is just humoring Ross and is sick of all this 7 person alliance. That he goes to James and Shannon and says, lets do this !

Actually, it is.

I can't speak to O's medical history but I have asthma and I'm a cougher. During an attack one might cough for hours and hours. After a night of that one might develop "a lame ass cough rivaled by second grader trying to get out of school". Because by then it really fucking hurts to cough.

Teddy Government checking in. I'm totally the one who gets stuck doing the videos with the bad White House puns and the guy in the Trump wig, aren't I? FML.

Count me in on the "doesn't want Omarosa to go" side. She bugs. Oh, does she bug, especially when she pulls out the race card. But she amuses me more with how amazeballs she is in her own head and her ridiculous posing and voice in the DR. And she does keep the game interesting right now. If she was voted out, I'm not sure the cast - as it stands - would have enough drama and story to keep it as fresh as it has been.

I'll admit, I kinda forgot about tonight's episode because there was mixed doubles curling on but I'm disappointed to hear about the lack of racist bowling balls.

So, genuine question. From Omarosa's DR when she does let out a cough, in your experience, did that seem like a real cough, or do you think producers asked her to throw one in so that viewers could see that she really was sick? Because obviously she does have an asthma problem and I know that house stinks to the high heavens, especially with the outdoor closed off from the roof, so the air quality has to be shit in there. But in that DR segment, I wasn't sure if I bought it.

I have come to accept that Shannon's game is over if her or James are not picked. My hope now is that Ross or Marissa, or both, become the next target(s). Because if Ross is going to turn on people on a dime like that, why should people trust him? I say get him out, or Marissa since she turned her back on a friend because she's likely too afraid of being called a racist by going after Keshia and Omarosa (as I still don't understand otherwise why she turned on Shannon in a split second).

It was a pathetic little cough. But, with that tiny cough, O sounded exactly like I often sound the morning after a bad asthma night. Because the ribs often hurt. But this is Omarosa we are talking about. I'm not sure I'd trust anything that came out of her. That said, I'd probably suffocate if I was in the house.

Sometimes I sound like I'm actually coughing up a lung. Trust me, we don't want to hear that sound out of O.

In an ideal scenario, James wins the POV and uses it on Omarosa. Shannon gets put up and Mark, James, Brandi and Ari vote for Keisha to go home. Omarosa won't vote for Keisha and Metta will probably get confused again. If this happens, then Shannon will go after Ross. Omarosa will go after Ross. James will go after Ross and Metta, Brandi and Ari will continue to sit around being safe. Especially Metta, because he really needs to win.

Making a big move will give him an advantage in the finals if he makes it that far. Plus, Marissa knows that she can't beat Shannon so if Ross takes her out then she has a better shot at the game. Better than Ross too, which is probably why she's pushing it. Marissa will still have James, because he'll assume that Ross was the mastermind behind everything and she'll have a shield via him. The only game it ruins is Ross, which is why it needs to happen.

I really like your ideal situation. That would be awesome.

So, Ross believes that Shannon still has an F2 with Omarosa. That is part of his concern. That Shannon withheld from him that she had made an F2 with Oma.

James may be obnoxious and aggressive, but, he states his opinion and offers good insight.  They just dot like it coming from him.Even if he is the baby of the group.

It would be nice if that happened, but since Brandi/Ari were the ones to pitch the Backdoor Shannon plan, they won't vote Keshia out if Shannon's on the block.

James is an interesting one, that's for sure. He's actually tolerable on the feeds most of the time. It's just his DRs that are aggressive and obnoxious 100% of the time. Though Ari is actually the baby of the house (she's 24!) and she's doing an excellent job flying under the radar. People would target Brandi before her, I think, if they don't catch onto her own little game. And she seems to be fairly observant too. If she wasn't attached to Brandi, I'd be wishing for her and Brandi to get to F2. I'm still not really a fan of Brandi, though I respect that they haven't been caught yet in how integral they've been to this upcoming eviction.

I mean, Ross could easily get rid of Omarosa if that's the case. I'm just surprised Ross doesn't trust Shannon after all and would rather keep in the two women who will for sure go after him next over anyone else, unless he has some plan to get the target off of his back. He's not playing a good game after all, and I stick by that. His mind is on making this big move to add to his resume for F2 without considering that he doesn't have a great chance of getting there in the position that he's in now. It's good that everyone's on board with the Backdoor Shannon plan, but it doesn't eliminate the target on his back if Omarosa or Keshia win.

If Ross truly believes that, then by all means his best bet is to get rid of Omarosa.

  1. By now, everybody in the House already knows Keshia and Omarosa have a rock-solid F2.  If Ross actually does believe in a Shannon/Omarosa F2 deal as well, then the obvious move would be to evict Omarosa - thereby eliminating at least two F2 deals with one vote.
  2. Evicting Omarosa would almost totally isolate Keshia in the House (the sole exception being Metta, and I’m not sure he understands BB well enough to count as an ally), rendering Keshia much more amenable to blandishments regarding future deals.
  3. Taking out Omarosa at this juncture would also totally cement the (absolutely false) impression Shannon has of Ross as a dependable ally - setting Shannon up for a truly epic blindside on down the road.

I've heard using coconut oil for popcorn is a great alternative to butter and all. Shannon knows her stuff, apparently. And now I'm going to have to try it. Ok, so watching has had some sort of positive effect already!

Regarding Marissa being upset with Ricki Lake.....if she was upset with another actress getting the movie role it would be Nikki Blonsky. Marissa won her Tony in 2003 and the second movie version of Hairspray with Blonsky came out in 2007. Ricki played Tracy Turnblad in like 1987!

A realigning of Shannon, James , Mark and Omarosa would not bother me one bit.

Switch out Shannon and add in either Marissa or Metta and I'm down with that.  My liking Shannon lasted about three days.  Now I want her out more than James.  Meanwhile Mark as a player has perked my interest which I would not have thought possible back in my pro-Shannon days of yore..

If she can't try to get her friend out in a mere game she doesn't belong in there playing and I would lose total respect for her.  She isn't planning on committing murder; just trying to win a reality TV show for heaven's sake.

My name is apparently Goody Church btw.  See my halo shine.

I think that Ari will be the quiet but deadly winner of this season.

I’m currently seeing Ari as this season’s Victoria - but I’m perfectly willing to have my mind changed on that point.  First time she starts telling baby stories about huge birds carrying her off, though, and I’m slapping a lock on that sucker.

Best UTR game I’m seeing right now is Groot; he’s not considered a physical comp threat, and hardly anybody mentions him at all except to float his pawn potential.

Sometimes you hate yourself before you hate them. It's kind of a chicken and egg thing. Though the season is so short that I may make it through without that happening. I'm not sure that's happened since I started watching the feeds. I don't remember what it feels like. Weird.

I have said for years that production has the HGs compete in two dangerous competitions: the dizzy/bowling one and the slip/slide till they fill the huge jug. It is only a matter of time before somebody gets really sick or injured from that. Dizziness can trigger many complications.

“Be My Valentine” stickers.  Probably before Metta left home he was catching shit from the wife because he was going to be locked up in the House come Valentine’s Day, and this is his way of kissing up.  ;>

Late to the party, but Chocolate Vine checking in.

So I guess I'm the only one who wants James or Mark to be the backdoor recipients.  They do make me laugh when they interact with the group but individually and collectively they are just grating. I was second hand embarrassed for the both of them yesterday when they were trying to make their groups sound like at one point they were more relevant than Maroon 5 and One D. I can't remember who was in the kitchen with them at the time, but they paid them dust. Was Sugar Ray even a 2 hit wonder?

With such a shortened season, is there such a thing as too soon to make a move?  Even if it is, they threw that concept out the door when they decided on a complete blindside in week 1.

I didn't take it as saying they were more relevant as much as music is weird. My wife remembers going to see Adam and the Ants and the opening act got booed. It was INXS!

So this is going to tell everyone how bad my TV viewing habits have been for years. Am I mis-remembering that Mark hosted the Pussycat Doll Girlicious show?

I think Ariadna is going to steal the game.  When she walks in the room it melts. Who would actually nominate her?

Not watching the show, but reading the thread of course, and I have coughing variant asthma. Here is a link to the medical information on it. "Cough-variant asthma is a type of asthma in which the main symptom is a dry, non-productive cough. (A non-productive cough does not expel any mucus from the respiratory tract.) People with cough-variant asthma often have no other "classic" asthma symptoms, such as wheezing or shortness of breath."

For the record, it sucks. It sucks badly.

I woke up this morning with a decision; I'm totally fine with them getting rid of Shannon. It's not like I need to spend the next two and a half months suffering through watching the rest of these people; there's 13 days left anyway. Two people are gone before the week is even up, possibly three depending on when the double eviction is. Chances are I was going to lose Shannon by Friday anyway.

Also I'm not even able to watch tonight's eviction live because I'm choosing to watch Legends of Tomorrow instead.

I think that this game moves so quickly that Ari could easily become a target, or she could continue to be in the background. She does seem very observant, and I don't think she's totally like Victoria, as in useless. I'm not ready to write Ari off yet.

And honestly, I'd kind of be down for an Ari/Metta/James F3. I don't know why, but that would be the most hilarious F3 ever. Someone who seems to be doing nothing, someone who was trying to get evicted before the feeds even turned on, and someone who was so close in going home week 1 because he's a douche.

I was amused by the back yard chatting last night.  Everyone was interested in what Ross has done and doing now. He is the biggest celebrity there. Omorosa had to jump in and say she missed the show he hosted because she was on a tour bus.  The reaction she got was basically. "Oh right" and they then turned back to the conversation with Ross.  I am sure she came in expecting all to sit at her feet in awe and full of questions.

How funny. So did I. I really wanted Shannon to stay just to se her compete and blow everyone away. But, if its not going to happen, its not going to happen. I am not to invested in a 3 week show.

But, I will say. Celebrity Big Brother has been fun. I thought I would hate it . Big egos invading my summer house. But, not too different from summer Big Brother. One big difference, average age is much higher.

So, Brandi/Keshia are up. The first thing I'm reading on Reddit? Keshia's asking Brandi to send her home tonight, but if not tonight, then the next eviction. Why? She wants to go back home to her baby.

Not completely sure if she's pulling a Metta or not but I imagine she also does really miss her child and breastfeeding for the last two weeks she's been sequestered and then in the house might have finally gotten to her. I'd say she might be telling the truth with how distant she's been since Ross won HOH. She's kind of been more in the background, not really playing the game.
