Johnny J, keep digging that hole!   Someone mentioned Judge Judy,and I keep thinking about how she always basically said-you were in a relationship without the benefit of marriage, you get nothing back!   How he managed to have a drunk girlfriend hit him, almost run over his daughter, then, drunk drive into a house with her dog in the car, get out of soft rehab and Continue to drink On Camera and He Still ended up looking like the bad guy is a true stroke of genius.  Maybe he should get an Orange After all!

I understand. I think Shannon definitely needs help, but I was still impressed by her strength this season. I don’t know if I would have been able to handle everything John and Alexis did and have to react on camera. It sounds like torture.

Looks like Alexis and John are still very much together in the new year. Shannon posted with her daughters and dog. She should have been grateful for them. She has a lot of love and support. Hopefully she leaves the show and enjoys her life. There's nothing really for her to be sad over she has everything. I'm so happy for Alexis. I hope her and John have many more happy,fun,intimate years together. Shannon needs therapy. She is the problem in her life. Everyone around her gives her so much love and support.

Would you leave a job that paid more than $500k/year for part-time work? 

It cracks me up when people suggest that someone would voluntarily walk away. Shannon is nearly 60 years old. She has no other revenue streams. If she left the show, she'd end up doing the D list shows for appearance fees (like Alexis did & will continue to do)

I’m going to withhold my opinion until I see just what production is going to do with Shannon’s next season. Will she get a villain or good woman edit? They may coerce her into some shenanigans while telling her “But  hey, we kept you on the show”.

I'm not really a fan of Shannon's. Everyone in her life coddles her. She's never happy and usually always whining about something. She gets away with things the other women don't. I think all of the women on the show are guilty of being A-holes.

i cant stand Shannon .. i think this show and by extension the fans are enabling her and her bad behavior with drinking .. I think she will never get better until she hits rock bottom and thats just not gonna happen with the fans going oh your fine you hit a house almost ran over someone but lets coddle you .. Shannon is a hypocritical mess in denial, but she always ends up with even worse women attacking her. So, I end up liking her more by comparison. It might’ve been a very different season if Tamra & Alexis didn’t go so hard at her. They made her look like the victim.  It’ll be interesting to see how it goes next season. Probably the RHOBeverly Hills Ericka treatment-act like it never happened.

I feel like they've all been attacked and ganged up on at least at one time on the show. There's usually someone in the hot seat every season. Katie was getting worst treatment to me. At least people were trying to comfort Shannon. Everyone has who they like on the show. I just don't care for Shannon.

I don't like John but I can believe Shannon was drunk and enraged. I've seen that behavior from her on the show several times. She can be very volatile and angry, especially when intoxicated.

It bothers me how she's played the victim and all the women have circled around her. John isn't my favorite either, but I don't think it's all his fault. Shannon is probably very hard to be in a relationship with.

All housewives are thirsty and shameless, but OC housewives seem a bit more of both than those on other series. Other than Heather, they aren't fabulously rich and they don't seem happy.

If you don't mind giving up your dignity these series are an easy way to make a great salary and get adoration from fans.

I LOATHE Shannon.  Her Jennifer Coolidge schtik is old, she is allegedly very nasty to people (I have always thought this and seems to be alleged).  Coddled wealthy woman. It is interesting how the HW's DUI's were handled with their respective casts and audience.  Shannon got sympathy and Karen (Potomac) did not. Shannon  has had issues with booze since her 1st episode way back when.

Shannon got sympathy because Tamra was going in hard on her all season. As soon as everyone toasted at the reunion, Shannon and Tamra were buddy-buddy again. I still think they set this up as a storyline and that Tamra "took one for the team" and faked niceties with Alexis to garner the audience's rage to make sure there was no DUI fallout.

I still find it remarkable that Shannon's mug shot was wiped off the face of the earth. I can't think of one single instance of a "celebrity" keeping that from leaking.

I’ve always thought it was a possibility that Shannon agreed to being attacked this season as a way to come across as the victim…again. Totally a conspiracy theory and I’m probably wrong but still

We had this discussion on the RH of Potomac forum. California doesn't release police body camera videos. Shannon's exist because the police use body cameras everywhere. She was arrested and escorted to jail where she spent a few hours until John Janssen took her home. I'm sure there is more video from jail. All of these videos would be as bad as Karen Huger's of Potomac. As for a mug shot, I'm surprised it was not leaked because Josh Waring's was. Josh is the late son of Lauri Peterson. The mugshot of Lynn Curtin's daughter was released, as well. And Tammy Knickerbockar's daughter. Those three were arrested in the same county. The police said initially that they couldn't release Shannon's because it was an ongoing investigation.

Heard a rumor about the current taping. I guess Shannon was being her snobby/elitist self with someone and Katie started taping her.  Shannon basically shut down filming with her theatrics.

Already? They were filming for only three weeks. Shannon alluded to drama today. Production forbade leaking information, and giving interviews to anybody (including podcasters and bloggers), with financial implications if the cast members did it (link below).

This sits on a scale for me. I’m sure there is some drama. If it’s so imperative they keep it under wraps then 1) Can’t lose what little “real” drama they are filming  OR 2) The promotional nonsense is starting early

Don’t see a thread for Bravo’s Love Hotel, so I’ll just say that Shannon got over her awkwardness enough to ask a guy out, a first for her. Hints of Shannon and Giselle wanting the same guy on future episodes.

I also watched.

One of the women made the comment that "hoochie women" sit with their legs crossed and "prim and proper" women sit with their legs to the side, ankles crossed. And later in the episode we see Giselle, Ashley and LuAnne with their legs crossed and Shannon's to the side, with her ankles crossed. 😃 

The guy Shannon is gravitating to is not what I would have thought she would be on to. He wears white alligator shoes, with gold eyes. I find them creepy and yet mesmerizing...

Red flag. He wears a tshirt with "Day Drinker" on the back.

Won’t be watching that one.  I can’t deal with the cringe factor of watching people date. The awkwardness felt vicariously is so strong, I feel it physically and it legitimately makes me anxious.

Full disclosure. I am not a fan of Giselle and Ashley. I'm here for LuAnn and Shannon.

Jersey and dubi have been “paused” and I’m shocked that Jersey was like I don’t know why cause it got paused when Tre went to prison but it just seems like they don’t know what to do …. You definitely should do Potomac.. the shade of it all I love ..

Yeah I know this is like the most unpopular Housewives opinion, but I find Atlanta overrated. Yes, there are some great scenes and iconic Housewives and moments, but I don't think all seasons of it are that great. You know it's bad when a Housewives addict like me isn't excited to watch when it's all that's on. I agree with you about Jersey too. It was one of my favorites, but although I hope it returns with SOME familiar faces, I do agree it was time for a break. I actually love Potomac. I don't think there's been a boring season of it. OC should be good once it's back. I heard Dubai was canceled. Not sure how I feel about that. I was excited about it initially, but other than Chanel and Caroline, the women lacked charisma.

I think there is still hope for Jersey and they don't just totally boot it like RHONY. If there is hope for Dubai, I will continue to watch that one as well.

100% about Potomac. It has some of the funniest Housewives scenes ever. It is very different from RHOC though. 

I do miss RHOC. Last season was good, hopefully it will be another entertaining season coming up

I had no clue about this until reading your post. That said I find it believable that Shannon treated the crew as though they were “subhuman”. I think she has an elevated sense of herself considering the fan support, salary, and the things she probably slipped out of (a lot more than either you or I could have).
