For the last ten days Vicki has had every opportunity to show some remorse or introspection into her abetting the Brooks' cancer story.  I am writing from the position Brooks does not have cancer and was never treated at City of Hope for cancer or anything else.  I went back and read her blogs cancer, cancer, cancer-how could she perpetuate such a fraud and quite frankly create her own little world of lies without some sort of heartfelt mea culpa.  granted she is pretty close to the most self-absorbed person on the planet but at some point there has to be something that ignites the pilot and causes her to try and repair the relationships.  I guess between she and Tamra making up every season she has forgotten the time that passes between the Reunion airing and filming beginning.

 

So now I guess we are left with Vicki the victim unable to control her burning desires, she teams up with a conman who not only sullied her reputation but broke her heart.  At some point even in the sleaziest of romance novels there is good in the heroine-just not happening with Vicki.

 Now she is saying he is sick.   She is sicker than he is imo.   He is just a con man. She claims she is a business woman who is beyond reproach.   What she really is , is just a con too who lies every time she opens her mouth.

        If they check the records at City of Dopes, Vicki and Brooks have lifetime memberships.

Lucy I hesitated to like your post because of the horrific parent story.  Glad you have survived and here to contribute.

 

I think Vicki's parenting skills will one day be analyzed in a neutral place and her kids can get well.  Vicki is a strange lady, someone commented on her son's Instagram about being at some great party/concert or whatever and did a no Vicki invited HAHA and Vicki posted a comment-I would love to be there.  Michael is 30 and I doubt he wants to crash his mother's Friday night line dancing with her new fake boyfriend.  Vicki shows a lack of growth and my best guess is her next mate will be in his mid-thirties.  I often wonder if she doesn't have a couple of young hunks being held hostage in the basement.  I could see them chained wearing Speedos and stuffing Coto Insurance envelopes.

I find it hilarious that the article at E! is entitled Brooks comes clean about his "fabricated" medical records. But not really. That man couldn't come clean if you threw him in a pool full of industrial strength bleach and then in a vat of The Dip from the movie Roger Rabbit. He only faked them because he doesn't want to give his real ones. From now on, he will keep his journey with this disease private.

I am laughing at this because I swear I saw a clip where the very stoned on Xanax Vicki is self flagellating over being a bad girlfriend and not be on top of things with Brooks, she was disconnected.  Problem is his Kool Aid chemo txs were in October December and January not during filming.

I agree NC Socialworker Vicki lied about accompaning Brooks to chemo, lied about the binder, lied about him needing an IV for dehydration. I also believe Vicki was in on the whole thing from the get go.

I know Briana has had a tough time on this board, but heck Vicki is her mom. :-( I have a new respect for Briana for sticking to her guns about what a piece of shit Brooks is for the last 4-years. She was, no doubt using RHOC this season for an intervention for her mom. Now if only Vicki will confess to the extent of her involvement and apologise to everyone especially Briana. IMO Vicki did the most harm to her daughter by not believing the horrendous things Brooks said to Briana. I think production doubted Brooks/Vicki cancer story from the get go. Producton knows Vicki far better than we, the viewers, do and would have seen through her/their lies faster. Production has been revealing things to support this idea from the very start, Eddie saying BS, Vicki claiming she couldn't handle going to any treatments/chemo because she couldn't stand seeing him sick right before she went to Fl, then them kissing when she got back even though she had a bad cold (a BIG NO NO). The clues were there all along, all we had to do is follow the very clear trail production left for us. LOL

IMO, Vicki knew the truth from the get go or close to it because she was already lying in Oct, well before filming began. If she really thought he had cancer, there would have been no need for her to lie back then.  I DO agree, that we will never learn the whole truth or even the whole story about Brooks/cancer/Vicki/lies.

I'm not shocked, however, that Vicki is still trying to lie and deflect her own culpability.  Damn it, I'll have to watch that stupid special tomorrow just to see if any of this new info is edited in.

I am certain he was threatened with some kind of legal action and that is the ONLY reason he confessed.   

 

On another note, which I mentioned earlier, doesn't look like asshole Girth ever made good on this threat to sue Meghan.  She kept right on talking too.  Con men frequently use threats and tantrums as a means to control.      He could of had one hell of a slander suit when his ex was on 20/20 right?   The only problem was is that she was telling the truth and it had all been vetted and found to be truthful.    He ended up in jail.       BAHAAAAAAA

I think production doubted Brooks/Vicki cancer story from the get go. Producton knows Vicki far better than we, the viewers, do and would have seen through her/their lies faster. Production has been revealing things to support this idea from the very start...

 

I think you're right.  

 

They kept giving us clues so we wouldn't be fooled into drinking any of the....
