Season 18 Live Feed Discussion: Their Lives are Almost as Boring as Ours!

Natalie basically said that she is ready to give the half of million to Victor or Paul. And, they both said that whoever stays and if they win HOH, they want to take out Nicorey. Basically, everybody is laying a path for Vic/Paul to waltz to the finals.

And James says he is throwing th POV.

I still think James downfall was evicting both Day/Z. He completely lost both their votes and that led to Paulie dropping major seeds about him, which worked in my eyes. I hated his douchey ways at the end of his run, but guy played the game till he lost the buyback. 

I think Vic can get votes from the majority: Day/Z/Bridge/Paulie, if he is against everyone except Paul. In my eyes, Paul is the number 1 choice for winner. I know next week, Vic is in deep doo if Paul or James/Nat don't win HOH, but man I feel like those people are going to regret not getting Paul out next week. 

Paul in my eyes is Dan-lite. Both were on the outside/pawns in the beginning, and they manipulated/scrapped their way to the top. While Vic is kind of like a male Janelle/Rachel/Daniele in a comp beast like way, back is against the wall, he'll find a way to win.

I agree with this whole post. I want Vic to win, and I know his best chance is dropping Paul but I like the loyalty he has to Paul. I'm torn.

I would love, love to see Day/Z on TAR. Day would want to kill Z so many times, while Z would be giving her "should I act like care" look that she give sometime and I love. Just the thought of them being on TAR together makes me happy.

I don't think he is that stupid or blind to the signals Nat has been giving him. At this point, I think James is using his relationship with Nat to win the AFP. Wasn't it this strategy of a nice guy falling for a girl who wasn't as into him as she pretended or he believe that got him the AFP the first time ? I didn't watch that season (Derek's season turned me of BB), so I'm honestly asking. 

This is why I don't have a problem with Nat at all in this relationship. If she is using him, good for her. If she isn't using him, good for her.

You guys are great!  I love getting up in the morning and reading all this news from the feeds.  The clips!  I must say, if Natalie chased my husband around and hugged his head while wearing that low cut top, I wouldn't hold him responsible for anything he did.  The man's only human.

My James love was never huge, but it's gone down a few more steps knowing he moved to get away from his child's mother.  What about his little girl?  He was moving away from her, too!  Also, I hate to differ with Nat about the definition of the nicest guy in the world, but to me he's not someone so grudging with love that he's going to leave a woman he cares about and his own daughter, because he was asked to care about the little boy in the home, too. That's so cold.

I wish I was more invested in these players as people because tbh they're actually all pretty evenly matched gameplay wise (minus James, who sucks more than the rest of them) and that could be interesting/exciting but I just don't care about any of them beside Natalie so I'm not really that into it.

I think Victor and Paul's transformation from initially being the least liked players to comp beasts/well liked players really has been the story of this season. If either one of them wins I'll be happy.

I'm not that surprised.  The vets got a good amount of money to come back.  Way more than the normal stipend. So he probably thinks he has enough and wouldn't mind helping nat try to get closer to the win

She was a one night stand, so no big attachment for the woman. She was just trying to force an insta-family on James. He was too weak to create boundaries, pick up his daughter, parent her, and keep it moving.  Now the chick has wrangled herself a prime time appearance.  I thought Julie's "explanation" that this is NOT James' woman was hilarious.

Yeah, she seems like a trifling one, posting on twitter that the little girl doesn't like Natalie. I was expecting at least a 10 year old who could somewhat get a vibe on people. This is a kid who is barely out of the toddler stage. Get this chick out of here.

Since I hated the returners + Paulie, thought the game was automatically skewed towards them. I didn't care for the newbies that enabled them either so I am doubly glad two of the newbies that led the charge to take them have a good shot at winning.

I feel like a hypocrite because I was rooting hardcore for Rachel and to a lesser degree Jordan in S13. Jordan was a disappointment from her first season but Rachel played a superior game compared to her first season. I went from liking to despising Jeff and wished Danielle was half as good as her hype.

This is why I don't have a problem with Nat at all in this relationship. If she is using him, good for her. If she isn't using him, good for her. 

He said "I love you" to her last night (first I heard).  He is not using her for anything, he wants to be with her in RL.  He really is in love with her and not reading her signals!  She clearly wants to be just friends.  And if he pushes harder it will be reduced to texting occasionally.  

I don't think Meg had anything to do with his AFP on BB16 (?).   He was happy go lucky amidst some drama and apparently many liked his pranks.

Yeah, that surprised me too.  We've been wanting to move to Canada for years, but that would mean moving away from my daughter, which I would never seriously consider until she's at least old enough to travel on her own.  James is a tool.  I can't imagine what could be so bad about his daughter's mother to make him leave his only child.  I would live under a bridge if it meant living near my daughter.  She's my world.

I'm not a BB "superfan" like some of you.  Admittedly, I've missed a lot of seasons and so I don't even know who half these people are.  Still, I thought I'd post this list of Danielle Reyes' All Star Dream Team.  

Of the people I'm familiar with, I think it would make for an interesting (read:  personalities clash) season.

I watched every season.  Some I had feeds and others I read and kept up but I remember very few HGs so I am not super fan status.  I do remember a few.  This list has some surprises.  I wonder why Meech.

Last night's BBAD was a waste of air.  I was up and had it on in the background. First we saw J & N sleeping. Then we saw Nicory under the covers doing nothing. Back to J & N sleeping; J snores a bit. Then we got a breathtaking close-up of Nic reading a cereal box....and reading.....and reading.....and reading.  What a complete waste.

Been reading the overnights, and I'm a little taken by the furor over a single word, both here and in the real world.  People can mouth all kinds of filth, but one single word makes the world freeze on it's axis.  Personally (and I know YMMV) the word doesn't bother me any more than any other expression of filth.  What DOES make me cringe is every time Paul says he was "boned".  Gawd I hate that word!

I do agree that ***IF*** Natalie is falsely accusing anyone of sexual harassment, it should be shut down immediately. I didn't see any of it, so I cannot honestly comment, except to say such an accusation without proof is heinous in the extreme.  Just as with a false claim of rape, a person's life could be seriously impacted.

As for either situation, I always go back to whether I'd hire any of these people, and the answer is a resounding "NO!"  In an age when a sketchy Facebook post can eliminate a job candidate, I wonder how these people do get jobs after being on BB.

Lastly, I'm over stunt casting on BB, Survivor and any of the other reality contests.  Survivor is advertising that this seasons contest is between "Millennials and Gen Xers".  Yawn.  Count me out.  I fondly remember the good ole days when both shows cast people who were avid fans, knew the game and really wanted to be there; people who brought their own brands of excitement and strategies to the table.  Now, stacking the ranks with brothers, sisters, models, wanna-be actors, etc, who have to be taught the game while they're playing, has spoiled the whole premise for me.

They should do a season of BB with just superfans. People that have watched every season. Even the boring first one. Which would eliminate a bunch of younger people since the show has been on the air for 16 years now. People who have followed the feeds for more than one season.

I'd rather have that than some recruits that have no idea how to play.

I've never understood this. These people know they're being filmed and CBS is making money off them basically doing live porn performances. (Though it's relatively tame since no significant nudity is shown.) Plus, the video will live on the internet forever. Unless you're acting seeking a career in porn after the show, why would you do this? I don't imagine after the show Corey will care since he's such a dim bulb anyway but Nicole seems to worry a lot about how she looks to the world and her family.

Yes, considering Nicole didn't even want to KISS Hayden during their season, it does seem a little risque what she's willing to do with Corey.  And you're right about it staying on the internet forever.  Someone elsewhere kept bringing up two former HG's named Ollie and April.  I'd never seen their season, but since their 'story' kept getting mentioned I had to Google it.  LOL.  They both must have died a thousand deaths over the years knowing that video's still out there.

Gotcha, and..... nope.  I'm sure they're dears, but no thanks. Here in Florida after four days of rainy deluge the sun is out, it's 90 degrees and the humidity coming off of the landscape is about 250%.  I'd be so "boned" (nope, just can't do it)..... I'd be miserable without my air conditioner.  So I'm in for the day, playing here.  I'm loving all the posts and issues. I was flashing forward thinking about how much I'm going to miss y'all when this season is done.

I want to like Natalie, but she seems "girl power" when it is convenient. Don't try to make Paul a dirty predator when it's convenient for game purposes (and not when trying to evict Paulie). That said, she still has a right to declare feeling uncomfortable by a person's advances. It's just that this picking and choosing makes it very difficult for women trying to prosecute or allege actual abuses.

Re: stunt casting. There are too many reality game shows that require no strategy that, as a fan, i wish the strategic shows (survivor,  TAR, BB) would reserve it for fans or at least people who know the game. It is no fun for the viewing public or other players to have to explain or deal with people who have no idea of the rules involved. Everyone doesn't have to be an Ian type fan but damn, can you at least pick people who understand the games? There are some pretty ones, I promise!

I've always been puzzled by TPTB's need to recruit people for these shows.  I'm sure there are enough bona fide fans applying to fill a season's roster.  To me, having to recruit is a dead give away that they're casting for the pretty instead of for a good game.

It seems to me like there is some sort of 'central casting pool'  that the various networks pick and choose from - Corey was originally picked for the Bachelor, as was Nat, Zakiyah another dating show, James Party Down South...

Natalie said she wanted to get picked for the Bachelor but they offered her this instead.   We hear the ad for Bachelor on TV saying it is open for casting, apply now.  Maybe if you are not chosen when you apply directly to any show you are put in this pool.  That makes some sense.

Well Natalie is apologizing to Oaul/Vic for trusting James and going with his instincts. She basically saying she should have never back stabbed them and now knows that it was a huge mistake and regrets it. 

I don't like Natalie, but I do believe she is truly sincere about all this. She knows she truly fucked up and regrets it. I'll give it to her though, veto hasn't even been played and she is already throwing James UTB.  Play the game girl.
