Not dissing The Crown. I adore it.  But it's high brow, historical drama and damn good. 

A few years ago, Joe would begin Monday shows with recaps from Madmen. I think Mika was watching it as well.

No it wasn't brought up I was just going along with the "Mika knows nothing about popular culture" theme for my own amusement.

Did any of you see the section of the show before and after Mika carved space for her own Mika-rant about Trump using Kim Jong Un to deflect from Stormy Daniels?  The show was totally, totally off the rails during that period.  Everyone was talking over everyone, with Joe and Mika making interrupting sounds and grunts for emphasis and mugging and so on.  It was pure chaos.   
Terrible TV.  Turned it off.

Was Andrea drunk when she introduced them? Special bonus: the acceptance speech includes the International Women's Day special of Joe referring to the NRA attacking his fiancée as she stands right next to him. Those rallies are wild!. I recall when Joe & Barnicle used to laugh at how much fun it was. They loved it when Trump trashed "Low energy Jeb".

The hypocrisy of Joe & Barnicle is astonishing. You reap what you sow. Joe was afraid to denounce the Trump show back during early 2016 because it was good for ratings.

I noticed the microphone issues with Joe in the bunker. My cable tv is working better today.

Monday Recap with DST. I am cranky.

Joe is in the Bunker by himself. His hair looks greasy. He sounds like he is doing a podcast on Community Access TV. Mika is off.

Joe is furious at Trump for not behaving in a Presidential manner at his rallies. It was OK when Trump attacked everyone in 2016 but now it's bad.

Joe was upset that Trump called the esteemed Chuck Todd, Chuck sleepy eyed son of a bitch Todd. Trump forgot to add Chuck " I don't report my conflict of interest when interviewing certain politicians" Todd

Joe is mad at Trump for supporting dictators like Xi.

Joe said people who attend the rallies can threaten people & issue death threats and cause violence. Joe forgot to mention that there was a person last summer who got so angry at the GOP that he shot several GOP Congress at the Softball game.

Joe trashed Trump's 38% support.

Trump's election was a fluke. He was supposed to lose.

I doubt the teens who were in back of Trump hooting & hollering have a college degree.

I couldn’t sleep properly last night & ended getting up before the show started. I am tired & want to go back to sleep. It’s busy at work. 

I am also cranky because our province of Ontario just elected Doug Ford as the Conservative nominee for the  election in June.

HE is Trump lite. It was an upset.

Some Americans might remember his late brother Doug who was mayor of Toronto.

He admitted to smoking crack cocaine & made a fool of himself on a daily basis. He was almost impeached. He used to appear on Jimmy Kimmel.

I don't have a degree. That doesn't necessarily make a person uneducated or uninformed.  College degree or not, I'd be more inclined to check to see how far their heads were up their asses.  I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if rally attendees are paid to be there, at least the ones behind him.  He paid actors to show up for his candidacy announcement. 

I noticed Mika was downgraded on the show from "my fiance", to "my cohost", when discussing Trump calling Chuck Todd "sleepy son of a bitch".  Marty Baron, the man who spearheaded the Spotlight team at the Boston Globe finally going after the Boston Archdiocese, attending a party for Joe & Mika. I hope he was as uncomfortable as Liev Schrieber portrayed him at that Catholic charities function in the film. 

I finally saw, via John Oliver, The Bachelor discussion from the show last week. I didn't even know what happened on The Bachelor, so fwiw, I was not surprised to find out what a complete douche bag Arie Luyendyk Jr is,  but it is disappointing to realize, yet again, that it is still possible to corral 20 or so young women to debase themselves on national tv.  How the fuck is The Bachelor still a THING??!!  Geesus girls get your shit together.  You are not helping.

That was the first thing I thought of this morning when I saw just Joe in the New Canaan bunker.  He almost immediately started having audio problems which quickly also become video issues too.  Barnicle took over and I thought that would be it for Joe but he popped up in some dark, cavernous room.  It honestly looked like he was at first broadcasting from the basement of a furniture warehouse but then as more lights came on you could tell it was a studio (I am assuming for a local NBC affiliate).  

I caught that co-host comment too, especially when he explained Mika's absence as being sick and not looking too terribly interested in that piece of news.  Maybe he's hungover too and drew the short straw as to who had to go on the air today.  I guess I enjoyed the show more today as he wasn't blabbing all over everyone else but he was definitely more subdued than usual.

Mika also sent out an odd tweet last night about Trump.  Not formatted well, using "U" for "you" and capitalizing words in the middle of a sentence.  Not exactly her style.  Kind of odd.

Everyone at work is groggy & cranky. The Ford brother that won the election is sober. The election result was a split. The moderate female won the popular vote butFord won the Canadian version of the electoral college.

Sometimes it's necessary on Twitter if you have a long post and are trying to shorten words to get a thought in whatever the new limit is.  Some are pushing for a 30 minute edit function on Twitter.

So do we think the daughters weren't at the party? Because of being at school? Or their hatred of Step Daddy/ Mommy's Boss.
