Mika's hammering Bill Clinton, everybody do a shot.

She shouldn't be leading a discussion about this topic.  She's got a huge axe to grind.   You could see the sneering disdain on her face as she read the very sane-sounding editorials appearing today.  Scarborough looks uncomfortable as hell, LOL.

OMG, in the very next breath (after ranting about inappropriate workplace hookups), Mika complains about having her butt grabbed at book signings. And Joe pipes up, all outraged, "In front of ME!"

Yeah. The coworker she hooked up with is outraged.

On a shallower note, I wish Mika would stop pronouncing "Wikileaks" as "Wiccaleaks." They're not a coven of witches, FFS.

Okay, so Mika wants to institute an Inquisition.  She wants to bring down not only the guilty, but those who were their bosses and managers.   She's calling them all out for allegedly protecting the abusers.

What's this now?  Mika says she herself is a victim of sexual harassment?   "More than we can know?"   But Mika doesn't want to tell about it.  "Maybe someday" she says.

I can understand a woman not wanting to talk about such an experience.   But it seems to me this same woman shouldn't be out there beating a drum and angrily demanding everyone else come clean.

Mika was so emotional his morning, I wondered if she had been sexually harassed. Then she admitted it.  I agree that there should be an open discussion about this and with much of what she said. However, she wants everyone to speak out but isn't willing to tell her own story.

Tuesday Recap. The show started with banter about Thanksgiving. Katty Kay hosts a Christmas Lunch. Willie likes to deep fry a turkey & chicken.

Joe is wearing a suit . Mika is wearing her dark blue top. Mika & Joe should be applauded for being in the studio together for 2 days consequtively.

Joe said Mika only navigates during Thanksgiving. She will not cook anything for anybody.

Mika got very serious when discussing the Charlie Rose scandal. He was not referred to as "our friend" or guest at our engagement party.

Joe is mad at GOP tribalism that are supporting Moore & Trump over everyone else.

Joe is very mad at Trump supporters.

They are putting Trump ahead of their God & Cable News hosts whose hot takes on politics changes every week.

No mention of Glen Thrush scandal yet.

Mika wrote in her first book that  she was sexually assaulted when she was a child while riding a horse near her home in Maclean Virginia.

Mika is mad at managers who enable sexual harassment. Ranting Mika is hilarious.

Longtime viewers of the show will remember when Mika admitted to getting drunk at a soccer watching party with Joe & Willie. She broke a cocktail table. It was in 2010 & the cocktail table got a glamor shot.

Mika wants the Managers to apologize! Joe has never been so quiet. King JOe has to do a better job of supporting his Queen Mika at book signings.

It is unbelievable to me, that morning after morning the panel can legitimately discuss sexual harassment and never is sexual harasser in chief's name brought into the conversation.

This morning Mika even threw JFK into her rant.

For M&J I guess this is just a place to air your personal grievances and defend your friends.

What is this?  Mika is delivering a  45 minute sililoquy outlining everything thing that ever happened about Trump and the Russia scandal in an emphatic voice.  All that was missing was the Russian National Anthem playing the background.  Was Trump arrested since I left my house this AM--why are they doing this now??? Is this the equivalent of the Top 100 countdown on Am radio on NY Eve?

It appears they are going to play out the clock this hour with Mika reading her social studies paper on Trump's Russian connections, then take a half hour to go eat danish or something.

Lately, Mika (no more Meek-a) is really full of herself.  The sexual harassment/assault charges on so many famous men are giving her life; to the point where I think she is using them to further her own agenda...meaning Know Your Value tours and books.  Still. Cannot. Stand. Her.  Smug, self-righteous, entitled, preening princess.  Yet I still watch!  Cannot stop!  What does that say about me?  And Mr. Kemper, of course.  He still calls the show Mourning Douche (remember that? lol)  Maybe from Television Without Pity?

Oh!  Forgot the best part of the show this morning...from Rick Tyler, no less.  They were talking about the probability of Roy Moore being seated (if he wins).  That McConnell et al care more about getting his vote on the tax bill and keeping their majority than they do about any moral issues.  Rick Tyler said something like "it changes the dynamic of Bringing Your Daughter To Work Day" or some such.  I never thought of him as having a sense of humor or of being funnily sarcastic.  Who knew!

Early in the show, Scarborough was deploring the "Trump voter panel" featured on CNN's New Day, in which one man stated that "if Jesus Christ himself came off the cross and told me President Trump had colluded with Russia, I'd have to tell him to hold on while I check with the President to see if it's true."

Those CNN "Trump Voter Panels" are the very reason I stopped watching New Day (when it used to air at 6 am) and switched to "Morning Joe."   I can't understand why CNN insists on regularly showcasing those morons while NEVER featuring an non-Trump voter panel.   I have even called CNN several times to protest it.

Gee, doesn't that sound like the man in the White House who is always promising to do something or let us all in on a big secret "someday".

Donald Trump:  This could be the calm before the storm  Press: What do you mean?   Trump:  You'll find out.

As far as Mika lambasting people for having drinks with coworkers or starting a relationship with one, Mika you had an affair with a coworker.  You cheated on your husband.

I know you don't see it like that because you're blinded by  whatever it is the two of you feel for each other,  but the rest of us watched you flirt and paw at each other on live tv for ten years. So, please for the love of God woman, SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Mika's argument with Ruth Marcus is so embarrassing, "bbbbut, we have a multigenerational workforce now."  I had to mute her because she's so out of her depth and embarrassing.

I think Mika's used, "this is an incredible conversation," 4x in the last 10 minutes.  She is so limited it's uncomfortable to watch.  (she said it 2 more times just before the end of the show. I think she thinks she's found her voice and is the spokesperson we need at this time for this topic.  Ugh.)

Rep Charlie Dent seems sober and reasonable.  And he's quitting.

Has Mika ever explained her hatred of Bill Clinton? Is it all about Monica Lewinsky, or it is something else?

It seems her hatred of Hillary & Bill has been turned up to 11 ever since the book tour, and I'm wondering if they couldn't get Hillary on the show and she's pissed off about that.  I've never noticed her going so batshit about Bill Clinton before.   Not to make excuses for Clinton, but she sits next to someone every day who cheated on his wife.

And she's using this harassment stuff to hawk her stupid book and whatever the fuck those seminars are about.  "Know Your Value" ladies, Kick that leg straight up in the air in that Vanity Fair layout, travel almost non stop with your coworker/boss, go to cocktail parties with him,  you know the guy who said he hired you because he had the hots for you, then dump your husband and offer a Presidential candidate special treatment if he doesn't spill the beans about an affair labeled "the worst kept secret in cable news".

I really do think Mika has an opportunity to have a more nuanced discussion of sexual relationships and sexual harassment in the workplace, since both of her long-term relationships in the last 30 years began at work.  The reality is that many of us meet our spouses and partners at work, because we spend so much time there/share things in common.  It's a tricky thing, dating someone at work.  Mika surely knows that as well as anyone, and that refusing to socialize is surely not the solution -- so it was a very strange comment, and she probably had not fully thought it out.  I also think she doesn't want to talk about her own personal life on the show, which is a little odd given how many other aspects of her personal life she shares -- but the reality is that everyone knows that she's sleeping with someone who could be seen as her "boss," though I suspect that is not at all how she sees it (and it's also not literally true -- Phil Griffin is her boss).  Still, Joe has some power over her (they do have a difference in income, which is public knowledge/well established, for example), and that makes it complicated -- at least more complicated than she made it seem on Friday.

I would have like to given her the benefit of the doubt, but she is still taking that same crazy train today.

Honestly, there is not enough room in my house for all the vomit after listening to Mika again today. How can she not hear herself? I honestly thought that after her loony rant last Friday that someone who cares about her might have sat her down and helped her see the hypocrisy in her comments. I guess that didn't happen.

She is getting hammered on social media, which is as it should be.

Did I misunderstand or did they mention that everyone knew that Peter Jennings was a sexual harasser? I'd never heard of that, and I wonder if they should be tossing accusations around since he can't defend himself.

Agreed -- I thought she might have pulled her comments back more than she did after reflection.  She seemed to acknowledge that she had gotten some heat on Twitter for Friday.  And she pulled back a bit -- have an early drink/dinner, don't get sloshed, she said -- but I just think the conversation needs to be more nuanced.  I totally understand her not wanting to put her own experience into the light, but the reality is that a lot of us may have feelings for coworkers or even subordinates and make a pass (sloppy or not), and there are shades of gray here.  Mika would be better served (or at least her audience would) in the conversation by putting herself into it, not taking her own experience out of it.

I had no idea what Mika meant by her response that the workforce was now multi-generational. First of all, some of this harassment being reported now happened decades ago and secondly, the workforce was always multi-generational. You think all those women (and men) in the workforce back in the 1950s and 60s were over 40? No one younger worked? What's her point?

Nidratime, I'm thinking she was hoping with each generation we as a people learn from the previous generations experiences and get better but I knew that ship sailed when all of those CEO's of tech companies in Silicon Valley came under fire about a year ago for the exact same thing.  That's my take anyway.

I thought she was implying that we have more and younger women in positions where they might have to socialize or work after hours with their older male colleagues. Granted, there probably are more women in the workforce and in more responsible positions, but even back in the day there was unprofessional behavior going on between younger subordinates and their work superiors. This is where Mika loses out by not watching popular programming, like Mad Men. ;-)

In fact, it was probably worse because there were less women in executive positions as well as less women, period.

Mika's point, taken to its logical conclusion, is that women and men cannot coexist in a workplace.
Joe just sits there and lets her hang herself with her own wrong-headed comments.  The looks that others give her are entertaining.

It's a stupid stance for her to take. I socialize and travel with my (married) male colleagues EVERY WEEK. We go to dinner, we have a few drinks, we share stories about our lives and families...and never ONCE has one of them shown up in my hotel room wearing nothing but a towel and a smile.

If someone is inclined to cheat, they're going to cheat. If they're a predator, they're a predator. Stop making it about a "male/female workplace dynamic" thing, and recognize that it's just a bunch of asshole guys thinking life is a porno movie and that all you have to do is whip it out and women will fall at your feet.

I mean, honestly! Charlie Rose's explanation is that he "thought the feelings were mutual"? REALLY? I've SEEN Charlie Rose with clothes on, and I can't imagine he looks any better naked.

I was angry that Joe just sat there and let Mika tie herself up like that as Katty did try and lend her a hand at the beginning of the show.  It's a shame that MJ didn't have the actual reporters on that both New Day and Stephanie Ruhle did as having them on would have been extremely helpful to the conversation.  To be honest, it makes me wonder if folks just do not want to do their show and that's why it's always the same guests (please note I apologize if they were on later in the show and I had already clicked away).

I am convinced that whoever books guests on Morning Joe has quit or is working from a secret bunker.

The show relies too much on Mika & Joe showing up occasionally and complaining about Trumps tweets.

The loss of Charlie Rose is a big blow to the CBS Morning Show.

The whole situation with Mika and Joe is not even in the same hemisphere as professional. He hires her because she's "hot", takes part of his bonus and gives it to her without her knowledge, instead of just going to Phil Griffin and demanding that her contract be renegotiated to reflect her work and value on the show.

I'm sure her comments are based on "well everyone hooks up with their boss/coworker because I did".   Mika's world view is her mirror.  If it happens to me, it must be happening to everyone.

The best I can come up with is that she thinks that the younger generations of men (and women) in the workforce would know better than to sexually harass women (or men) in the workplace, and the victims would also be more likely to report it rather than just suffering through it like they did in the past.  But I'm making that all up as a possible explanation because it wasn't at all clear what's she was trying to say.

The ratings are much stronger now despite the drop of in quality of the show, so I guess I don't blame them.

Anyway, I was surprised to notice that it is for sale. It has been on the market for about a week.

Will this be the end of the CT bunker?
