No, peaches...it still looks the same (which is why I didn't quote you!).  None of the formatting icons are here.  I just have a bunch of rectangles with X's inside.  That's also what I have to click on when I sign out now.  And the quotes and editing icons ate just gone.  I was hoping other people would be having the same issues, but it looks like it's just me.

What browser are you using?

^It's the browser that's included with the Samsung Galaxy.

Aha!  I just switched to Chrome and it works fine here.  It's pretty!  Thanks!

Oh okay, I have a Galaxy Tab too and I've never used the default browser because browsers are not Samsung's thing. I'd expect it to be low on functionality and security. And I only use Chrome when a site I'm trying to access is too messy for Firefox and the various add-ons I use. Google is already up in enough of my business.? Glad it works for you.

Me, too!  I'll just need to proofread my posts like crazy since I can't edit.  And instead of quoting, I'll only be able to refer to posts right above mine!  It sucks because if other people had the same problem, I'd leave it to them to be the squeaky wheels with the mods.  I don't even know how to begin to explain to techy people what my problem is.  "Uhhh, where there used to be a pencil and quotion marks, I have nothing.  My hearts are gone and replaced with tiny flags, and all I see are rectangles with x's and little squiggly lines that look like a sperm."  I can see them rolling their eyes now!

I feel you. Unless the person I asked for help is standing over me looking at my screen with me, I am hopeless.

I thought the poster was so dorky it was funny ?. Also maybe if she moves stores and up maybe eventually I will too!

Thanks for the comments about Little Man, believe it or not but George is cuter in person and just so sweet and clever. I think he'd get along with your pets. Did you guys vote on The Previouslies awards?

Yep. At least on some of the categories.

Paging snaporaz!

So, I've always liked your screen name, and once in a while tried to figure out why it was ringing a bell with me. Then, yesterday I caught a bit of the opening of 81/2, 'cause I'm a major Fellini fan, and because even Sheila can't make me watch B & B while eating, or ever, there was Guido's friend running into him at the spa and calling him "my old snaporaz." Aha! Then I remembered The City of Women, where Mastroianni's character is Snaporaz.

Excellent choice, sir!

Thank you, pearlite!  My whole life is a Fellini film...

LOLOLOL  i am just watching masters of flip on hgtv.

courtney is talking landscaping with jeff the landscaper...

they decide on perennials....

then, cut to jeff on couch for interview.

he says, what's the difference between a perennial and a millenial?

a perennial has a job to do every year but a millenial is just swiping (making swiping motions on his invisible smart phone), swiping, swiping..

i thought it was kinda funny so am not meaning any disrespect to millenials.

Can you use it in a sentence? Thanks for being patient with an ignorant Yank.

We were losing the hockey game, so we had to just give 'er in the second period.

We said it in Southern Ontario and we say it in Alberta too!

I'd never heard it before now--maybe that idiom blew right past my part of TO. Mind you, I've never said "eh," in the Bob 'n Doug mode, either.

I do think it is more rural than urban.

george has been behaving strangely past 2 days almost like he's sick. I think it's the weather here maybe.

Feel better, George.  Boris hasn't really seemed like himself, either.  Now that you mention it, it's been crazy hot here this past week.  I wish they could just tell us what's wrong...

My best to Boris and George, I hope they perk up soon.

It's just been cloudy and muggy here but Nathan has been acting weird too. Last night we thought he was having a seizure , his hind left leg seemed to be paralyzed. My Dh sat on the floor trying to soothe him and I did the same for a while. We were really worried, then I got an idea. I shouted "Who wants noms?" and both cats came running like it was no thing. WTF?

All I have to do is lift the pull top on a can. Gets awkward when I'm opening a can of tomatoes or soup.

Thanks for letting me know guys. He has me concerned. Others in my area are also saying their dogs are being withdrawn and mopey, the heat and humidity are high. Of course my mother who watches him when I work is not helping how he or I feel.

Peaches turns into a total bitch when it's too hot. She sleeps in a dark closet in the laundry room and I just leave her alone until it cools down at night. Must suck to have all that fur.

Does George have an appetite, Petunia?  I think that's supposed to be the best indicator if something is really wrong.  If he's eating ok, it's probably nothing to worry about.  If he's not interested in eating, you might want to get him checked out as soon as you can.

Good point. Also make sure your mom keeps water available to him at all times. Dehydration is no joke.

Steve has been acting weird as well. Not eating much, no singing, screaming, and complaining a lot. I suspect another infection. The humidity isn't helping though. I keep putting off a trip to the vet though because it's so expensive. Also, he had an infection just last month.

He's has a lot of infections this year, both in the crop and intestines. It's weird and worries me because I keep fearing at one point the antibiotics will stop working on him.

And yes, it's the same symptoms. Plus, I  noticed a bad smell one morning after his morning poop. Bird's poop shouldn't smell so when it does it's usually a sign of infection. But it was only that one time.  I was going to call the vet on Thursday but I came home from work and he was singing and eating and flying and it made me doubt myself. I'm going to weigh him tomorrow morning (weight loss is a sign of illness) and then call the vet on Monday if need be.

Good news and bad news, right? That is what it was like with us last night. Just when we were ready to rush him to the emergency vet (big buck$$), he jumped up and ate a hearty meal. It's crazy.

Yes! It's like they enjoy confusing us, lol.

He belted out three notes earlier this evening and started eating like a pig before bed. I can't figure him out.
