OMG Hope! I love you, and I know you are hurting and lost, but honey, you just don't walk into a room and start with other people's personal shit like that. 

Still, those scenes were worth their weight in gold. Sally, being so gracious, even after Wyatt corrected Flo about their past relationship being more than high school sweethearts. And Liam's under the breath "I think it's safe to say this is awkard." And Wyatt, who is quickly becoming my new favorite, absolutely nailed it. DB has grown so much in this role. I have always liked him, but now he seems to know just the right tone for the scene. He clearly telegraphed his confusion with what was going on with Flo and the lies she had told him. And Flo too, was really good, and I have to admit, I felt just a little bit sorry for her. I am starting to see her the same way I saw Sally in the beginning. A young woman from a hard scrabble life just trying to make their way, and doing something horrible out of desperation. Although with Flo, there really was no desperation; just unwarranted love for a devious, heartless man. I continue to feel that her remorse is real. Does that mean she will spill the beans? Zoe is busy humping Zander and isn't there to stop her, so who knows. 

I agree with @Zoe116 about this foursome. They have mad chemistry that I felt in those other scenes over at Hope and Liam's cabin. There is a unique vibe to their interactions, and they actually feel like contemporary couples hanging out and having a good time. With Sally's sassy genuineness, and Wyatt's silly goofiness, and Hope's goodness and Liam's vapidness; it all just works. In my mind I kinda see this:

Sally = Rachel

Wyatt = Chandler

Hope = Monica

Liam = Ross

And we all know the chemistry those four had. 

I ff'd all the rest. I find I cannot stomach Taylor anymore, and don't think I will watch her unless it is with Brooke. And there is no way in hell I was watching those two no talent interns fucking.

IMHO, Flo and Hope are sisters. KB was casted because of the resemblance to AN.  If it wasn’t true TIIC would have casted a hack actress like Zoey, Emma, or the other intern who’s name I forgot.  IMHO, TIIC also wanted a proven actress who has the ability to be believable in carrying a storyline.  In addition, Sally, Wyatt, and Liam were talking about how much Hope and Flo were alike.  

Deacon, as both Flo’s and Hope’s father is not that far fetched. Deacon is a player, womanizer, and a rouge who bounced from GC to LA. Why would it not be possible, for him, to make a “deposit” in LV.

Her husband is a producer. Also she’s union and been working for at 30 years so her pays nothing to sneeze at. While I’m glad my favorites are comfortable financially, I’d really like to see them acting on this soap opera. When we have these fine actors, why are we subjected to Zoe/Xander/Emma/Pam/Charlie, etc? And I’m starting to feel the same about Hope, Liam, Steffy and TayTay. Oh man. The screentime nuHope get doesn't even come close to the amount that Kim Matula was on as Hope, nor how every single story circled back about who Liam did or didn't marry. There's one YouTuber that's had episodes going back to at least the middle of 2009 that YouTube has finally unlocked to American audiences, so I picked a random episode from 2012 to start with as I missed most of that year for deployment. I got through ten episodes and only two of them had a story of something other than Steamless versus Nope (Marcus's bond hearing issues....anyone remember him? Nope, neither did I!)

But the one thing I didn't appreciate nearly enough back then was that while rarely justified and often ill-timed, Hope did have a backbone. Liam was never worth the trouble, but she did ask him after the Italy wedding where she found a video of them fooling around (something I'd totally forgot had happened after the Deacon thing!) why she was always made out to be the bad guy and how she and Steffy we're so interchangeable and I was here for it.

I guess I'm trying to say they gotta go somewhere new with Hope to make this worth the time. I mean, is Liam going back to Steffy and Hope finally goes off the rails like she's in a Carrie Underwood song? Ultimately, if everyone's back to square one or God forbid there's any single person who suggests Phoebeth should stay with Steffy (besides Ridge and/or Taylor because they're fucksticks I expect nothing better from at this point), I'm gonna be pissed. I really hope AN and SC get Emmys out of this (especially AN), but fuck I'm done watching her cry and mope. 

And it's frustrating because the entire Logan clan besides RJ has stories of loss and/or depression and PPD: Katie ran off for months; Donna gave away a son in high school and couldn't share that for decades; Brooke of course has had at least one for-sure miscarriage but she's lost custody of all four children at different times; Bridget finally got a rainbow baby after multiple losses; and even Rick had his story about not just Eric III but the twins (I think?) that Amber lost as well. And this is where the P&G show in particular used to excel at connecting those dots, but certainly having Katie be a buttinski to push a cause close to her heart would be welcomed in this case.

I had the flu last week so crashed on the couch and kinda sorta watched/listened/dozed. It doesn't sound as though I missed much and I had read the (no longer a) spoiler about Wyatt and Flo being HS sweethearts so it's clear they are setting up for a Flo/Wyatt/Sally/Thomas quadrangle. 

With Jacquie on maternity leave, I'm guessing there's no immediate end in sight to this storyline (unless she taped a lot of scenes to buffer her downtime). And I'm just sick of this crap. Every day that Hope is robbed of her daughter and all of those moments she won't get back is another day I don't want to tune in.

B&B has never been big on that trope...the one where Stephanie was shot in '07 is the only one I recall they ever did.

But those were good times indeed. My fave is still the one on ATWT when Rose died and it ended up being a ten year old Will who did it in large part because of his mother's psychotic hatred of the woman. And like any good soap story,that continued to have consequences that affected him once he was SORASed.

I have just a few thoughts: Why is Flo still staying in that cheesy “flat”? She was paid $50,000. Why isn’t she staying in a nice hotel or moved into her own nice apartment? Can we get some new writers for this show before it completely goes down the tubes? As much as I complain about the scripts and the acting, I’d actually miss this load of crap.

In Los Angeles? 😂 $50k is a down payment for the cheapest condo in Echo Park!

Okay, I exaggerate a bit, but that money doesn't go quite that far--I live in San Diego, which is only a slight bit more affordable than LA, at least for now, and...yeah. $50k is an income that's just liveable for one person so it's wise that she'd want to make that stretch out a bit.

I always laugh when TV shows set in CA act as though even $1 mil is mega bucks to live a ridiculously lavish lifestyle with, like Steffy's CEO salary.

First, I think the writers/Bell are shuffling the deck so that Hope/Liam/Sally/Wyatt/Steffy and now, Thomas, are the leads of the show. Zoe and Xander are the supporting characters. Blergh ... I'll add Flo because it appears that as Liam stated yesterday, Flo is now part of the "extended family." While I don't care for Flo's character, I really like the actress playing her because she can well ... ACT!  ITA that it was painful having to watch her drag Zoe and Dr. Shady through their scenes.

That said, I think Wayne Brady is a horrible actor. He always wears the same expression -- kind of permanent bland smirk. He also looks Botoxed to the nth degree as his forehead all the way to the top of his head doesn't budge.  He reminds me of a traditionally carved jack-o-lantern. 

I'm kind of OK with watching the younger set be on the front burner because Liam/Sally/Hope/Wyatt are all bringing it and having Steffy more on the sidelines with docilely folding endless stacks of laundry works for me.  Brooke has always been my favorite, but now I find her boring and am bitterly disappointed that she's resigned herself to a lifetime with Sludge, and the less I see of TK, the happier I am. Likewise, I find "new and improved" $Bill dull as dishwater. 

Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing either Steffy or Bill regress at bit just to liven things up.

He’s horrible on Let’s Make a Deal as well.  I sometimes watch killing time on the elliptical machine or in my work break room before The Price is Right starts. Corny songs, idiotic skits, insincere hosting. Katrina Bowden/Flo has quietly surprised me with this role. She has an understated, thoughtful acting style and she’s made the most of this material. 

Yeah if this was cable or Netflix Dr Buckingham would have killed Flo and made it look like an accident. I do miss those meaty scandalous mysteries on soaps in their better years. I also read the shit out of Sidney Sheldon and Jackie Collins books. 

Zoe’s bet with Xander extends to when she’s alone or speaking w completely arbitrary people while he’s absent? Ok Show 🙄 as long as those grating fake accents are gone. 

Hopes jewelry has been so cute lately I wonder if those are Quinn designs?

I watched the last 15 minutes yesterday and felt a bit queasy watching Dr. Shady manipulate Flo and his daughter.  The man is a psychopath and that really needs to be played up.  And if  Killer Taylor is a licensed psychiatrist then she KNEW he was a psychopath, because game recognizes game, and chose to buy a baby from him for the sole purpose of helping her daughter manipulate Liam back between her legs.  THAT should be the story, not how torn up Hauxdilox is going to be when it all blows up in her face.

The only redeeming feature were the scenes between Hope and Liam.  THAT'S how a man and woman in love behave.  They share their feelings.  THEY TALK.  It's not 24/7 fucking.  AN and SC are doing such good work.

Looks like Flo’s redemption arc is in full swing. My feelings are that no one is going to walk up to Hope and tell her the story. I suspect it will be an overhead conversation behind Partially Closed Door or Chained Partially Open Door. I could think up all kinds of soapy goodness depending on who the over hearer is. But no. Just no. It may sound ridiculous, but that kind of feels like I would be dancing all over Hope’s pain.

Steffy will be taking off with both babies to “let Hope heal.” Humpmm….not so sure I am buying that. I think it is more like she is threatened by this closeness between Phoebe and Hope. In addition, she can clearly see the deep bond and love between Hope and Liam and realizes she has no chance. I would also lay wagers that she is buggin over Flo and Hope’s connection.

I have this feeling that this is setting up to gut Hope once again. I think they are going to let Hope and Flo develop a true friendship, and wouldn’t be surprised if that other spoiler:

About Flo being Deacon’s too comes to fruition. Having Hope find a long lost sister, and bond with her only to find out she was part and parcel of this baby swapping nonsense would truly devastate Hope. So, of course, it is gonna happen. The show seems to be about nothing but causing Hope as much pain as possible while letting all the thugs and criminals skate.

I guess doc’s over the pond make really good money or something, cause it looks like Dr. Dreadful has his own airplane. The way he just flits from country to country at a moment’s notice is enough to give one a case of whiplash. I noticed in all his pleas to not blow his cover, he never once mentioned getting any help with his gambling addiction. It is all about how he had to protect his little girl. Why is no on pointing out if he had sought help, or gotten some control, no one would have needed his protection? So, I guess next time the thugs are hunting Zoe down he will what? Commit another crime? Why, oh why, have they brought this character in? Wayne and his no talent Color Forms Doll daughter need to go away, and they can take his no account screen daughter with them. 

Scott and Annika are totally working. I am so glad Liam shut Hope down real quick with the "go be with your daughters" shit. I completely understood Hope's remark about people meaning well with the "I'm sorry's", but how all they do is remind her. My niece lost her long time boyfriend when she was 8 months pregnant with their second son. At his viewing my niece came over to me and said that if one more person said "I'm sorry" she was going to explode. She understood they meant well, but it was just too much. Since that day, I have never said those words to anyone who is grieving a loss.

They really are, and honestly, this is what they needed to sell this pairing years ago. I fell into the rabbit hole of watching episodes from 2012 (AKA The year with all the Hope weddings that got cancelled, as she and Liam attempted to wed no less than THREE times so far!) and holy shit were they both so incredibly immature. Like, I just watched the part where Rick had his buddy lie about seeing Steffy and Waffle make out the day before wedding #3 and Hope doesn't even question  it...she just goes to Liam (after having hounded both of them for the truth that it was clear she didn't believe) to end it. This, of course, will be followed by the infamous WE WUZ WOBBED shit she would spew for months afterwards once she finds out.

In the bad ol' days, there was the sense that they wanted to be together  but neither ever examined what or why it was they liked about each other. But nowadays, I actually buy that Liam is choosing her and Hope is choosing her battles with Steffy more wisely and it's refreshing to see this second time around.

Batie actually did have chemistry in the old days....so much that I thought it was a shame Brad and Victoria didn't get together on Y&R before HTom left that show. But between Bill sniffing around Steffy for the first half of their marriage and then Brooke for the second half and Katie's own brand of neurosis at times, I'd rather see Thorsten Kaye parading around in Ronn Moss's old Speedos that to watch Round 3 of this bullshit.

I liked this whole back-and-forth thing far better with Nick and Bridget. Part of that is sarcasm because that never should've happened, ever, but Nick did put forth an effort to truly win her back each time and even the one time she stepped out on him Nick didn't get up on his injured high horse to run her down.

Bill OTOH wants things his way, to the point that it's been a year since the Steffy boink and he still has yet to make amends with Liam. The last scene I remember the two of them sharing was right after Ridge knocked him over the banister and Bill was comatose for all of it.  I don't see anything new they could add to another Batie reunion that we haven't seen already.

Just give Katie a new love interest and let Bill move onto Steffy and call it a day.

I’ve never been a fan of Steffy’’s but I was pumping my fist today when she told Hope to stop trying to throw Liam and her together and that this is the last time they were going to talk about it. So, she very nicely said “Shut the hell up, Hope!” Kadooz to Steffy!

She was the one who started the bullshit in the first place by having secret conversations and meetings with Liam discussing the adoption together. Then insisting Liam is Phoebe’s father and they’d parent her together.

Now she’s pretending this is all in Hope’s head. Manipulative bitch.

Big of Hauxdilox to turn down a man who DOESN'T WANT HER. 

If Hauxdilox didn't have a habit of going after men who were already in relationships, especially relationships with Hope, we would never have suffered through the YEARS of the Triangle of Doom.
