Meri Brown and her Wet Bar of Tears

Looks like both Meri and StrivewithJanelle are live on Facebook. Meri had 42 viewers (dropped to 32 at the moment) and StrivewithJanelle only has between 1 and 5 people watching (numbers is jumping around.

Meri is so freaking unprofessional. Always "I don't know" when questions are asked. She says her life is so random. And she just ended the livestream "Thanks ladies. I am ou...(cuts off)". And they wonder why people are "hating" on them. If you don't know just try to

Back to Strive. If Janelle wants people to strive with her, why isn't she pushing herself with Markie on live stream? I know she probably wouldn't be able to get through the whole exercise but wouldn't it be encouraging to her fans to see her struggle rather than watching the slimmer Markie do all the work? If she wants people to see the weight loss from beginning to end, she needs to be in front of the camera.

No.  Just no.  Maybe if you were blind (and then I would hope a friend would intervene)  but otherwise.....

Yeah, all of it still pretty awful. And the leggings with polka dots in the beginning? You really mean to tell me that Disney has a copyright on fucking polka dots? If that's true, then copyright is even more fucking broken than I believed.

They aren't using Disney music or the Disney signature. All LLR paid for was the bare minimum.

It's my Dream/Life Goal/Why to have pygmy goats and chickens with their own Insta accounts. I will now have to dress them in LuLaCrap. Thanks you, @Kohola3. You have inspired me yet again.

Me too.  I know goats sound like a lot more fun than they really are, but I would so dress them in LLR inspired pjs.

This means I have a good chance of seeing them.  I just discovered my cousin LOVES LLR.  I better learn to keep my mouth zipped around her!

This is definitely an audience appropriate for LLR clothes.

I have got to hug it!  I want to have a little goat and dress it up like this in little jammies.

A while ago I posted a tweet of Meri's where she said she fed Mariah's dog grapefruit. I said she should google, because dogs aren't supposed to eat it. After Mariah graduated, Meri brought the dog back to her apartment. Apparently the dog had surgery yesterday. Now, I have no clue what the surgery was for, neither one is saying. The first thing that came to mind for me, was the damn grapefruit. Meri states there's been a problem " for a couple of weeks". I hope the dog is ok.

(edited)

Meri said on her live sale that Mosby ate something nonfood and now he needs surgery to get his intestines reconstructed.

Edited to add:

1. Meri's outfit during this live sale was very tacky. Grey shirt knotted to the side with a red skirt which had large white polka dots on it (skirt might be from the Disney collection as a preview bc I seen other people wearing a similar skirt or a tribute to the LLR Disney collection...either way, not cute at all). She also had a necklace which she kept pulling at to adjust it. It was so annoying watching her do that, I almost commented that maybe she should take it off.

2.  She cuts off yet again before finishing her damn sentence.

3. LLR is really overpriced. I have seen a lot of people are buying up LLR from consultants who are going out of business (GOOBs sell at low prices to get rid of inventory especially if it is ugly/difficult to sell at normal price) and flipping those purchases for a profit on Ebay, etc. Bypass the $5000+ fee it cost to onboard with llr.

I have a "thing" about people praying for things, so, this could just be me. I'm posting it any way, lol!

I don't pray for material things.  IMO, that is just wrong!  I save prayers for stuff I think is way more important.

Just my take on it.

But sometimes "things" are needed. Not her shirt, but there are times you need stuff.

I get that, honestly, I do.  I was trying to say that I pray for someone's health, or something of that nature.

I'm not rich by any means, but I do have the necessities of life, and that is what I meant.

Like people who need a roof over their head, food, but LLR ???

LLR is no different than Tupperware, Mary Kay or Almay.  The quality sucks but it is a way to make money from home.  None of them can get a regular job with the TV exposure.

That is fine but your choice.  It isn't wrong for another to pray for wealth or not pray at all.  Many people are not Christian, myself included.

I have no problem with that.  That is why I said IMO.  I really don't think what I said to be my opinion should offend anyone.

@xwordfanatik I don't think @wings707 was offended. She seems pretty even-keeled. At least, that's what I get from her various posts. I pray for wealth, but those prayers are only half-hearted (at best) because I know I don't really need that. I do earnestly pray for other things; mostly, I try to show gratitude for everything I have and keep the requests to a minimum (and I try to keep most of the requests for other people and not myself). I like having that divine help as an ace in the hole for when I do really need it (and I have a few times).

Anyway, back on topic, to pray for something like LLR shirts (to me) is rather like punting on the first down. Sure, you can do it, but why would you?

God is in the Tub.

Have you met my theory that God Doesn’t Do Free Throws, Awards Shows, Or Reality Television? It’s one of my favorites. God is busy, Danielle. It’s like the way you don’t bother your mom to break up fights between you and your sister when she’s relaxing in the tub. Come to think of it, that will work. Think of God as in the tub, Danielle.

Meh - she can just go to the mall and buy a 4th of July themed baseball shirt at Forever 21, Old Navy, Hollister... They're everywhere right now. And cheaper.

Cheaper, yes. Supporting the Sisterhood of Lularoe? Nope.

From what I gather, things aren't going well in the LLR biz. Sales are down for a lot of the consultants. Some have started spying and reporting on others. Even layaway is being offered . I can imagine the outrage if Meri went out and brought a cheaper shirt that looked similar to LLR.

Ok, Meri was on live sale just now. I honestly was going to scroll on by. I wasn't interested in watching her boring sale but she turned around (back to the camera) and it made me do a double look. She had on a skirt that was too tight for her. Just...not a good look at all.

Meri does not dress like a plus size woman (which she is...she was much thinner when the show started.)

Remember the green dress she wore for that "commitment ceremony?"  It was not flattering at all, and those tight white-stitched jeans made her butt look huge a season or two ago.

I can't figure out why Meri insists on wearing things that are too tight or too small for her. From the jeans she used to wear to the LLR to that awful green dress, she must have some messed up mirrors in her house.

Their vision may just be THAT messed up.  They think polygamy is wonderful.  They think they look good in their clothes.  They think we're all messed up because we can't see what they see.
