when did lulu try to get along with valentine?

I think Lulu has been super tolerant of Valentin under the circumstances.....

1-he held her, her husband, her mother and brother hostage on Cassadine Island

2-he shot Kevin point blank in the chest, while AIMING FOR HER MOTHER (still not sure why he didn't pay for that crime)

3- he forced, at gunpoint, NIk to sign over his and Spencer' birthrite

4-he shot Nik and left him to die/drown in the ocean

5-he kept Lulu from her daughter for the first 6 (9?) years of her life

If this were real GH instead of pod GH writen by incompetent writers, LUlu would have channeled her inner Spencer and gotten rid of Valentin's sorry ass by now.  I mean, I can picture JMB's Lulu getting in touch with Luke and Ethan and suddenly Valentin goes bye bye.  Instead Emme's Lulu's constantly a victim and apparently the bad guy because heaven forbid she should want her daughter and the criminal gone.

I agree with all of this.  My issue with Lulu is that she is not very smart in how she deals with Valentin.  Behaving like a hysterical harpy every time she sees Valentin is not going to help her get custody of Charlotte.  This behavior plays right into his hands.  Lulu needs to grit her teeth and play nice while she, her mother, Dante, Luke, Anna, Ethan and Lucky plot to take him down once and for all.  This would be a great umbrella story that could also involve Ava, Jason, Sam, Alexis and Elizabeth.  Almost every character on the canvas have been victims of the evil Cassidines.  There is nearly 40 years of the evil Cassidines vs the good people of Port Charles history. Why not use that history rather than set up another series of mob wars "that will change Port Charles forever"?

I wish Britt was somehow working at this clearly evil clinic that Valentin has sent Ava to.

...oh, was I supposed to be plotzing that the guy in the ridiculous mask is probably Steve Burton?  Or being intrigued by the misdirect that it could be Nikolas?  Uhhhhhh....

What if it's not a misdirect? You never know with Uncle Frank.

"I can't give you details, but here's all the pertinent information insinuating that this dollar store brand Hannibal Lecter is actually Nikolas Cassadine." Good lord, how ridiculous. And Valentin's blood spilling on the family tree just ratcheted up the absurdity. I don't know whether to be intrigued that Nikolas may be alive yet crazy, or confused as to why he's hanging out at the same facility as Ava. Because Valentin has ties to this place and if they're housing a very much alive Nikolas, that sounds like information that Valentin would know and use to his advantage. Whatever, I don't know why I'm trying to make reason out of this shit. I do know that if it's actually Steve Burton in that getup, I will never stop laughing.

Yes, there is no question that Valenin has seriously wronged Lulu and her family in many ways - and that she deserves to have a win in this story!!

However, Lulu has often damaged her own case by jumping into situations without planning and without thinking of the consequences (in this and other stories).  Supposedly, being impulsive is one of her characteristics, but sometimes this qualtiy is overplayed.

In this way, Lulu has not matured since she was a teenager.  She has learned nothing from her past mistakes.  That is fine if you are a young single woman without children because she would be dealing with the consequences on her own.  However, Lulu is a wife and mother, what she does effects her family. It is not all about her. Lulu needs to take a few seats and grow the hell up.

If only Maxie would out Amy and Nathan. I need this story to be over.

Once again, Ava is overreacting to circumstances she put herself into. You'd think she'd be a little more sensitive to the masked guy ("Patient 6." Ominous!). Raising her voice and snapping her fingers at him was really rude.

Spinelli's copy of the manuscript shouldn't be the first one Amy sees. She's being very poorly served by her publisher if it is.

Shhh.  please don't say that name.  I would prefer that the writers forget she existed.

Could the man in the mask be an undead Morgan? He could have a very scarred face when Julian's car blew up on him.

I thought of Nikolas, at first.  Valentin would have every reason and resource to throw him into a place like that.  But I hadn't heard any recasting news or rumors since Tyler's pretty much at Days of our Lives right now.  So yeah, Morgan sounds like a viable guess.

Really, either could work, as I could see either reacting the way he did out of recognition of Ava.

"Dr. Boronski can't cure Patient #6."  No duh.  He had a psychotic break and as much of a miracle worker in plastic surgery this Russian doctor is, he's not a psychiatrist.  I guess we're supposed to think that it's Nicholas from the very bad blood anvil but who would be hiding him there?  Valentin would want to produce him to prove that he's still alive and no one else has that kind of money.

I don't blame Ava for snapping her fingers at Patient 6. He was sitting there like a department store mannequin.  Did someone wheel him in? Is he catatonic?  Who cares?

I don't understand how going through an unlocked back door is "break and enter".  And what kind of guard does that make Milo if a teenage boy can walk into the house?  Not even checking to see if the door was locked?  Sonny should fire him.

How is it even illegal if Joss invited him to come in, and Carly never told him not to enter the house?  I really didn't enjoy seeing Sonny and Carly bullying a 14 year old boy.  They're such prizes.

It's Burton.  He even posted a picture a week or so ago wearing the shirt/sweatshirt hoodie the masked patient is sporting, lol.  It also looks like his profile.

He's a terrible doctor if he can't practice in two separate, totally unrelated specialties, like every doctor at GH. Ava is doomed!

In other news, I continue to be perplexed by Dr. Bensch.  Maybe I wouldn't notice if it was a different actor - and I get that it's a shrinking soap world and JDP probably is happy to have a gig - but that they cast someone of his soap caliber to play this weird, nothing role is so weird to me.

Judging by the way Kiki cussed out Phone Dillon for having the gall to send her a present at work, I think Dr. B is going to be getting into her head more and more.

Sorry, but eeewww. I may not be watching, but I know James DePaiva is probably old enough to be Haley Erin's father, if not grandfather!

The Ask Man Landers story is silly but stupid when it doesn't have to be. Spinelli tells Amy that he has been a fan of the blog since it first started. If that is true, he would have surely noticed and recognized Nathan's face before Amy was forced to remove his image from her blog.

Hello person who definitely is the real Jason Morgan. You are about as talkative as the last real Jason Morgan that Robin found in another clinic.

LOL, I was laughing at all the unsubtle cues that it's Nikolas when we all know it's the Borg.

Well they're overhyping a certain return and it's not Tyler Christopher lol.

OMG, imagine the stans' heads exploding if they brought Steve Burton back to play Nikolas via plastic surgery, HAHAHA!

The writers would just use that as an excuse to cause yet another rivalry between Sam and Liz.  Sam gets all hot whenever she sees Nikson (because that is what I would call him) and feels conflicted because she is married to Jakeson.  Then Liz gets all possessive since she and Nik are the bestest friends ever who occasionally see each other naked.  Rivalry ensues.

Would I be killed if I requested Courtney be there, as well?  Not that I was a huge fan of Courtney, but I wouldn't mind seeing the mess that was stirred up if she came back.

I KNOW. He's so random and inappropriately involved with Lauren. Also, a gift basket with booze in it wasn't the smartest thing to send Lauren at the hospital, but it's not as if she ripped off the wrapper and started slugging down tequila from the bottle. Dial it back, Creeper.

The whole thing is so bizarre.  After an epic bout of joblessness, this young woman finds herself a calling/a direction...and the show immediately undercuts it by making us wonder if this guy is going to assault her?

And everything with Dr. Bensch has been so mishandled.  He premieres as part of Sam's storyline, but then not only doesn't factor into it again, the show pretty much pretends he never was part of it in the first place.  Then there was the random hitting on Jordan.  And now this whatever with Kiki.

I put a lot of this on JdP, actually. He's always giving Bensch a sort of leer. Maybe that's intentional, maybe not, but the writing in and of itself isn't threatening, IMO.

The show may have forced her to backtrack (of course you can't bring yourself to apologize, Monica.  She wasn't wrong that Jason did make his own choices (*coughaidedbybraindamagecough*), but Sonny still murdered her other son, seduced her daughter, spent years keeping her grandchild from her.  There is no situation where Monica should be apologizing to Sonny EEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRRRR, NO!), but that she actually got to yell at him for even a second was such a queen moment for Mon.  And awww, Monica with Alan's picture got to me too.

Considering the Aiden kidnapping is a personal bugaboo of mine re: her relationship with Franco, Liz being all, "Bygones!  I keep that kid locked up in the attic anyway!" about it with him and Betsy Frank today...I feel personally attacked.

Already getting sick of the Anna/Dr. Michael Easton push.

Franco dipped his fingers into his wine glass and licked it off. WTF, Roger Howarth?? Franco's bad enough on paper and these weird acting choices don't help. It's so funny to me that they referenced Maxie and Franco's one night stand AND Aiden's kidnapping, and literally no one cares. Guess we have to let bygones be bygones because Franco is GOOD now, haven't you heard?

I hope it's some intern in that hospital bed, thrilled that their fluttering fingers have made it on TV. For real, it's ludicrous that everyone is crying over some headless man in a bed.

Monica fucking slayed Sonny and I'm glad the show gave her that moment. I don't think she backpedaled at all; she didn't apologize, but she did acknowledge that the onus is on Jason for putting his loyalty to Sonny above everything else. And she's right--Sonny may have opened the door and invited Jason into the mob lifestyle, but Jason is the one who willfully walked through it again and again, despite the risks involved.

I really liked the dress Lauren was wearing. It looked great on her, too. Maxie looked pretty good as well.

Ugh, Betsy Frank is the last person I need to see, no matter who plays her.

I liked Alexis and Monica supporting each other.

It amuses me to imagine that BM is secretly auditioning for everything he can, having seen the writing on the wall when SBu's return was announced. He's so going to be an afterthought.

It's almost as though she's forgotten that the youngest child of Liz's is also her grandson!

It's a miracle anyone remembers Aiden exists in the first place.

I enjoyed Valentin's catty comments about Franco's art.

For fuck's sake indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can't believe they had Monica apologizing to the man who killed her son in cold blood.  That is total bull shit.  Monica and Scott should be meeting to plot the final downfall of the mobster that abused, molested, manipulated and murdered their children.

I couldn't focus on the scene with Sam at Jason's beside.  All I could see were her sweater sleeves covering her hands!  Will someone  tell me the reason for this? I know it's always been a fashion "do" on soap operas but Damn it's so stupid.  Of course that's just my opinion.......

I know it's a cliche but I don't think I've ever heard Sad Violin Music on a TV show but damn, there it was as Finn sadly looked at Hayden's picture.  TFGH hits it out of the park again.

I loved Monica's truth telling to Sonny. Too bad it was walked back so soon.

I can't take how stupid Sam is being. Does she really think that if Jason goes into a longterm care facility, they're going to be putting him in a casket so they can bury him faster when he inevitably dies?  How can it be better to have him at home?  Even if they have the hundred thousands of dollars the equipment and round-the-clock care it's going to take, is she going to sit by his bedside and weep constantly?  That's going to be a great household for Danny and Scout to grow up in.  Maybe Monica should adopt them permanently.

What I found incredibly offensive was not the leering (it's a soap opera) but the implication that it's okay for a nurse's aide to receive that kind of gift at work but not a potential doctor. Professional is professional, whether you're at the top of the food chain or the bottom.

Although reading the Amber Tamblyn/James Woods stuff, maybe the leer is that bad.

Taking Jason home isn't a bad idea. Between Sam and Jason, they have money. As long as they have a home with a large enough bedroom without stairs, why not? Maybe it will be enough to get Sam out of the stupid penthouse and either at Q mansion or in a home of her own choosing. And perhaps have Monica insist on Sam and Danny talk to Andre about the situation. If only to get Sam to realize that her kids need her too. And to give Andre something to do.

And show? Fuck off!  How dare you have Monica fucking damn near apologize to Sonny for her truly tempered outburst. He murdered one son, has been the main cause of her other son's dangerous life.

And then to have Liz just blithely absolve the loony woman who accepted her kidnapped baby was nuts. And for Franco not to FUCKING GIVE HER A HEADS UP, is ludicrous!  It is bad enough that Liz is with Franco anyway.  Hell, I'll be all for a Finn/Liz hookup. Anything to get her away from Franco.

So Sonny lost one round (Monica) but he got a shout-out in the same episode from a doctor and an ex-cop proclaiming their willingness to do whatever it takes and cross any and all lines for Sonny.  Talk about doubling down.

What is up with Anna being such a douche to Finn. He's grieving a baby and his fiance, and she's gonna force him into doing some dangerous mission that he statedly repeatedly he doesn't want to do and feels is against his doctorly oath and shit. Why not ask Griffin? This could have been written as a fun adventure, but now I'm just like, Jesus God lady, back off him!
