Throwing someone off a parapet...is that rich person for cutting a bitch?

It's something that seems to happen to those who cross Cassadines or their evil scientist friends.

What the heck happened to Maxie?  She was always bitchy sometimes, but over the last couple of weeks it seems to have become constant.  I preferred her when it was an occasional thing.  And why the attitude to Nelle?

And did Dillon go somewhere, or has he just disappeared from Port Charles and no one has bothered to mention it?  I know the actor left, but has there been any explanation for the character?  Because it was so obvious when the day player was photographing Maxie and Nathan, instead of Dillon, the supposed in-house photographer for Crimson.

LOL at Carly breezing into the jail like it's Kelly's. "Hi, guys! It's me! I'm just here for my usual visit."

And the guard being all "Well, of course, Mrs. Corinthos." Fuck this shit. I hate happy Carly. The way LW plays it drives me absolutely insane. I guess I should be grateful she didn't do her awful laugh at least.

I was still mildly curious about the Jason stuff so I watched that, and only that, today. As soon as I saw Jason in the leather jacket with Sonny I was like, "yea, I'm done." All interest is gone.

I don't think they explained his absence, but I barely watch so I don't really know lol. Apparently instead of firing RPW they decided to put him on recurring so I guess he'll show up again at some point.

LOL. Giddy Carly is unnerving, but in this case, I think it's appropriate. Her bestest bestie is back from the dead, her surviving idiot son has finally dumped his ultra boring girlfriend, and she was wearing a great dress.

We'll see him for 30 seconds on Thanksgiving, singing "We Gather Together" with the other two Qs. (Sorry, Olivia is not a Q.)

Oh yea, it makes sense. Which actually probably makes it even more annoying to me. Fuck Carly and her happiness!

With all the other fuckery going on, I forgot to mention that Amy 2.0 told Nathan not to tell Chet that she had been paying his hospital bills. So who did he think was, Santa? He wasn't getting treatment from the VA. Anyway, who cares? If one of my brothers decided to take care of my health costs, I'd be thrilled.

And since I'm ranting anyway, I wish there was a PSA about where to get help for addiction. It's a lot more useful than shilling for Big Pharma.

Somebody in the makeup dept has learned how to do braids. Nell had an elaborate braid do, and Maxie's short hair was turned under in a braided effect. It's a nice change from all that flowing virgin hippie look that everyone from Nell to Bobbie has been sporting.

I got a big charge out of hearing Sonny say that he thought everyone loves him too. He and Carly were in rare form today. Wish Carly hadn't had the satisfaction of knowing Michael and Nell broke up.

Dammit! Sonny actually cracked me up today with his "As far as I know, everyone loves me" line. I hate Sonny. I don't want him to make me laugh.

I can't stand Amy. Maxie is quite the bitch since she returned. Nathan is hot but can't act. Can we please kill this storyline? And why add another character? That just means it will last longer.

Thank you, this story line is ridiculous and now Chet is on the screen, he's like nails on a chalk board!

Man, what the hell are they doing to the character of Maxie?  She was a straight-up asshole to Nelle today.  Really not a good look for her.

And, yikes, Nelle is an idiot.  You don't cry poverty to your boss, you go in there and say 'so Maxie just told me I'm her assistant, too, can we discuss how this means my workload is doubled and I deserve compensation?'

Leather jacket: on. Black t-shirt: tight. Jason's officially back,

I was hoping Carly left him a pink tutu to wear.  Or a purple leotard.

Oh Nelle, remember that 50 grand you gave away last month?  I know you've been doodling "Mrs. Michael Corinthos" in the margins of your diary, but did you have a contingency plan?  Other than blackmailing your former employer, who already threatened you last week.

Even wardrobe hates Maxie.  Carly didn't fare much better.

This is what really bugs me. This show is terrible with social issues, and now we have to have Chet the injured vet who somehow isn't getting proper care from the VA also be a druggie? Can't he just be injured and have problems readjusting to civilian life? (And not decide being a mercenary is the only career path open to him?)

Oh, Nelle. Gurl. You don't ask for a raise because you can't pay your bills. That's Workplace 101.

I don't mind Chet having developed an opioid addiction. It is an actual realistic problem. And yes, some VA centers do have major issues with patient care. If done correctly, this could be a honest to goodness great story on a real American problem. Chet being the addict could allow for the show to not just give him a quick cure. Like Jason did with curing SkipperBitch's pill addiction. Or the stupidity of Lucky's addiction. Alexis has been ok with the coverage of her quick alcoholism. Chet can be shipped off easily for long term treatment and either comeback or not. It was insane to have Luke still drinking after his "killing" of Jake. It barely phased him. It was having Lucky being pissed at him that troubled him.

And yeah, why the hell wouldn't Nell just ask Nina about this sudden change in her work tasks. If Nina said, sure, I need you to do double duty. Then that is when you hit her with a demand for a raise. At least while forcing her to deal with Maxie as some sort of boss. And if I were Nell, I'd tell Maxie to fuck off and get her own coffee. Nina didn't say that she was paying for Maxie's. Just Nell's.

I guess the writers are trying to make Maxie into Miranda Priestley. But Maxie is no Miranda, and if she pulled that crap with me, I'd dump her coat and purse on the floor and explain that I'm not her maid. And if Nina doesn't expect Nelle to hang her coat, then Maxie sure as hell has no right to either.

That whole thing just annoyed me no end.

I felt the same exact way.  Stop being all charming with those stupid dimples.  I'm only human!

A Todd/Blair-CarSon battle would have been epic.  Todd and Blair would've wiped the floor with them and I would have loved every minute, which is why it never happened.  Sigh.

I couldn't help noticing Maxie acting like a bitch was paired in the same episode with Amy 2.0 being saintly at her brother's sickbed.  That didn't feel accidental.

But at the same time, Maxie was being mean to Nelle so...whatever lol

I would love to see the four of them trapped somewhere and getting into a pissing contest of who had the worst parents.  Sonny would do his song and dance about his stepfather and Carly would complain about being adopted and her father leaving the family (she still had a wonderful adoptive mom who loved her).  Meanwhile Blair could counter with her mother being severely mentally ill and institutionalize during her childhood.  Blair was raised in group homes and orphanages.  Todd's parents were Victor Lord and Irene Manning.  Dad was a child rapist and pornographer who tried to kill his own granddaughter so he could steal her heart. Irene faked her death and gave Todd to her child rapist cousin to raise.  When she did come back into Todd's life it was to kidnap, torture, mind control and replace him with his twin brother.  Todd and Blair would not have to get into any detail to "win" that contest, they would just need to hit the highlights and drop the mic.

Yeah, same here. What bugged me more is that Nelle crumpled under Maxie's bitchery. Way to be a scheming bad girl. Ugh, these fakakta writers on this fakakta show.

LMAO at Nina seeing straight through Nelle's agenda. She is truly terrible at this game. It kind of feels like they're reverting Nelle's character back to the way she was originally introduced, a poor girl scrabbling to find power.

I want to have sympathy for BMJason since his whole world has been upset and his closest friends have abandoned him, but this Grumpy Bear routine is wearisome. I also don't understand why Sonny and Carly haven't brokered a meeting between the Jasons so they can share their stories, because that might at least alleviate BMJason's fear that Jason could harm his family.

Zero clue as to where we're going with Oscar's missing father.

It's nice that Jason wants to help Ava complete her treatment, but considering her scarring mostly looks like she just got overzealous with a plate of ribs I don't see the urgency.

Instead of being sad that Sonny and Carly have completely, unremorselessly turned their backs on him, Drew should be glad to be rid of them as it's proof positive of what garbage people they are and how little the word "loyalty" actually means to them.

Geez, Nelle's blackmail scheme is already kaput.  This really reads like they're rapidly writing her out - she now has no relationship, no friends, no job, etc.

Once again, Oscar's Who's The Daddy search is boring and who cares-y.  And had bonus Sonny in the scenes today, barf.

So I just thought of something, identical twins share the same DNA and any children that they have are genetically half siblings. Since Danny and Scout’s fathers are identical twins that makes them already half siblings but they also share a mom, so that makes them full siblings right?

Oh and this story and show is still so dumb.

Man, Nelle's been having a bad day!!

Maxie:  Hang up my coat and fetch me some coffee

Nina:  Nope, no raise for you.

MIchael:  If I've told you once, I've told you four times, we;re done

Valentin:  You want to blackmail a Cassadine.  Girl please

Nina:  You've had this photo for a month.  Oportunistic trash.  You're fired.

I laugh at Nelle's pain.  Can she move back to wence she came now please.

I'm getting the vibe that Nelle is not long for this world.  And Show is setting up all the potential guilty parties.

I don't think anyone gives a crap enough to murder her.  CarSon and Michael are knee deep in the Jason story.  ValNina are dealing with Cassandra and Maxie is ass deep in the Man Landers thing (see what I did there!!!).

What would be interesting if she set up her own death and set someone up to take the fall.  But girl is way too dumb to pull off something like that.

I again recall this story I read about a character's exit on a foreign soap.  She was a bitchy bad girl type and she was leaving town to seek her fame and fortune in some big city and was burning bridges left and right.  But in her last scene, she fell unseen into a ditch which got filled in with cement and nobody mentioned her ever again.  That would be perfect for our Nelle lol!

I don't need her to die, having two of Michael's girlfriends be killed in a row would be a bit much.  Just ship her out of town and forget she ever existed.

Though is she ends up dead, Mikey would be 3-for-3 in dead girlfriends.

Is there a possibility that Drew is Oscars dad?.

It's possible, we don't know what he was up to in the pre-Jason years.  But man would that be incestuous, especially

if it's true that Tamara Braun is playing Oscar's mom.  The other Jason and the other Carly having a kid?  C'mon, show, there are other characters and other families.

Laura W and Steve had a live Q&A yesterday and one of the questions asked was who Steve liked working with now that he's back.  He mentioned various people including Tamara (Braun).   Now she's supposed to be coming shortly on as Oscar's mother.  So, why would "Jason" and Oscar's mom have scenes together unless he's the baby daddy.  But then again, is Steve playing "Jason" or is he really "Drew"?

Well if this all pans out, Oscar's mom would have known Drew when he had Steve Burton's face.  So she could mistake Jason for Drew.

Previews...poor Monica.  I'm really worried the show is going to vilify her in this Jasons story.

I'm not getting that vibe at all. What makes you think so?

I would like some sort of consequence to Nelle's leaving - maybe Michael presses charges against her, she goes to prison, and it's the start of playboy, jaded Michael and his next girlfriend (probably Dr. Kiki) has to get him out of his funk.

She's the only one 100% on Billy Miller Jason's side, she's the only one not interested in the real Jase, even Sam seems to be unsure.

She was very insistent to Liz last week that Billy Miller Jason is the real deal and wasn't hearing Liz's wavering wonderings.  That might change when she comes face-to-face with Steve Burton Jason - if Jase ever remembers her or thinks to inquire about her -, but still, I'm wary.

That's what was always so endearing about TnB for me is that they both suffered big time in their childhoods and never had that family growing up. They found their home and their family with each-other and even though they screwed it up every time, it's something they always wanted and needed in life... until GH decided to make Todd a deadbeat who forgot Blair or their kids existed. *sigh* I may LOATHE Franco but I thank God he isn't Todd.

If this turns out to be true, the petty part of me wants someone to ask Steve if he/Jason will be jealous that BMJason is more like Sonny in one way than he is - that BMJason takes after Sonny in that he had a son with (ex-) Carly and then a daughter with Sam.

"Suddenly I don't mean anything to Carly and Sonny." Jason Miller says that like it's a bad thing. It's not as if he was all gung ho about those two anyway. He let them tell him who he was and what to do.

Jason Miller sucks for being irritated with Sam's reaction to Jason Burton.

"Why are you guys here to see me?" asks Sonny, exasperated, when his stepdaughter and her boyfriend show up at the restaurant. What a lovely parenting moment.

Someone upthread mentioned how stupid it was that the Jasons aren't sitting down together and trying to figure things out. No one's thought to suggest it, either. Gah.

Nelle really needs to brush up on her bad-girl skills. She was never that great to begin with, but now she's pathetic.

"My people always come through for me." LOL. Unless they're Sonny's security, who are legendary for their haplessness.
