Sigh. I hate it. Ever since Silas and to present day, they've just stripped Sam of any kind of attitude or spunk. I don't want her to be the moral compass of this show. I want her to be able to do questionable things, to insult people, to argue, to kick ass. That is when KeMo is at her best, IMO.

This show just has no freaking balance. They don't know how to write layers within a character.

Especially considering her cousin and Liz, the mother of her step-son, conspired to keep her husband away from her and would have done so indefinitely if they hadn't gotten caught.

Maybe I heard wrong but could someone explain to me how Scotty lost his money in the past six months since Ava asked him what he did with the money she gave him to Raymond Berlin when Hayden was in town then.

The swindling happened a while earlier, I believe, so Scott owed a lot before he became Ava's lawyer. That money went to his debt and for everyday expenses. It was basically hand waved so that there was at least a tenuous connection between the Berlins and someone in PC.

Seriously, if Bobbi isn't there, I wouldn't be at all surprised.

Bobbie probably doesn't know a date has been set. SMH.

And they have Sam walking around like it wasn't a big deal. "Welp. Let's get a divorce and just start over as these pod versions of ourselves, Jason!" "I'll help investigate Hayden for you, Nik! I'm so sorry she's hurt you!" "Sorry your house blew up, Liz!" But Nik and Liz, on the other hand, have already had several screamy confrontations with Hayden Naomi Rachel Rebecca Budig. Ok, show.

Is this how they avoid fallout on this show? Because the way Michael acts, you would never know Sonny intentionally murdered his father.

Realistically, very few of the residents of Port Charles should even be talking to each other, because basically everyone has irrevocably screwed up someone else's life/family/happiness in one way or another and no one ever gets any permanent repercussions. Or, in the case of Liz and Sam, over and over again.

I thought Hayden was supposed to confront Nik last week about having her shot. It looks like she's building up to it, but in the meantime I wish she'd stop begging for forgiveness. But did I miss the part where she has actual proof that it was Nik? As I understand it, all she has is the ballistics report that the bullet in her head didn't come from Shawn's gun. That only proves Shawn didn't do it, not that the person who did shoot her was hired by Nik or was even after her at all. Unless Nik confesses or she finds the shooter who then implicates Nik, she doesn't have anything. I mean, I want Nik to pay for this, but all the hand-waving bothers me. Realistically, Hayden needs to ask Curtis to take off his shirt and do some further investigation.

They can do Rebecca Budig/Nikolas but they're going about in the worst way possible. Nikolas and Rebecca Budig should be falling in love, Rebecca Budig despite herself and Nikolas should be tormented and worried that she's going to leave him if she finds out, not him getting self-righteous cause the woman he shot in the head has a false name. I mean, really.

I was on board for a Nik/Hayden love story (a loooooong time ago) because I'm an angst whore and I thought their backstory gave them great potential, if written right and I though the actors had great chemistry. But what we got.....I don't even know what this is supposed to be. Nik can't even muster an inch of regret for what he did, which is kind of fundamental.....but then you see him crying into his drink because HAYDEN LIED ABOUT HER REAL NAME!!! and he totally wuvs her, as far as he tells Liz anyway...and then when we see him again he is all cool and collected telling her that the marriage is over and she's not getting a cent.....what is this fuckery??? Either you want to write for these 2 to be at least semi viable (they no longer really are at this point anyway) or you move them on to other things and stop wasting our time and ruining them as characters.

As I understand it, all she has is the ballistics report that the bullet in her head didn't come from Shawn's gun. That only proves Shawn didn't do it

Well, yeah, it's not hard evidence at all, but it would reopen the case for investigation, which is obviously not in Nik's best interest and he would be smart to try to avoid.

I honestly am not ready for the sheer levels of "Well, I never"s and "How could you think that of me"s that well be getting from Nik's big fat piehole on Monday...I get the feeling that Nik will sink even lower than he already has. Seriously, who did TC piss off?

If Britt shows her face again I will blame you for mentioning her.

jsbt will hunt you down and kill you.

Is the show still a day behind from Nancy Reagan's funeral?

How about "the Button"? or "Buttonman" (as in the Godfather series).

Having Anna plan the phone bugging with Sonny, and having Emma hug Sunny 'cause her Mommy told her to do it gave me a nauseating rage headache. Anna, former Super Spy and Heroine Extraordinaire, is devolving into a Mob hanger-on and cheerleader indeed. I hate the flirty way she and Sonny look at each other across the room while in cahoots, and the hug from Emma was Show's way of trolling those of us who remember what Sonny did in the past.

Was Anna infected with some mob-loving rot fungus from Duke, and now worms are eating her brain?

if nothing else makes me swim to the barge, this certainly did.  I even deleated the all the gh from the past two months also.Anna was the only one left that didn't make my thumb twitch to FF. Now that's over. Hey stupid writers Scummy shot Robin in her own house, while trying to kill Joss's father also. Now Scummy is the hero. Thanks for cleaning up my dvr.. As for the worms. Anna doesn't have a brain any more. Duke was good, ? Carlos needed a medal for killing him. Thanks for warning me what was about to happen, so I didn't watch.I didn't think it could get any worse, now its Scummy father of the year.

Fair enough. I still think attempted murder is too much of a hurdle but they're also writing this in a way that leeches all the dramatic tension out of the story.

i mean, for me it pretty much is too but if they're gonna do it, there are a hundred ways better to do this than "attempted murderer acts indignant over name change". I think they could write it to make it palatable for a lot of the audience, but they're not doing that.

Yeah. This story would be a lot better if Nik either felt some remorse for anything he did at all or went all the way in and was full out evil and not trying to be kind of like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman. Also, the This is For Spencer's Future BS is dumb. Sell the giant castle. Stop taking in strays. Stop buying women clothes and jewelry. Put that money in a high interest earning savings account Spencer to have when he's an adult for his future. Stop sending him on month long Spring Break trips. Nik could probably bankroll Spencer's future by selling the creepy furniture in the attic.

At least Michael had a few months of shunning Sonny and Carly. Sam had what? One or two SCENES calling Liz a bitch? And ZERO SCENES with Nik. It's screwed up.

Sam was angrier at Nik pre-reveal when she only thought he might have been involved. Remember at the non-wedding? Sam was all "If I ever figure out you had anything to do with this, I will never forgive you."

So, she had a LINE for Nik that was essentially meaningless? Sam is WORKING for him, WITH Jason! These writers are pathetic. I still cannot BELIEVE the fallout of the Jason reveal. "Well, let's all go home and back to our fuck buddies." I'm sure the Lake/Liason fans and the 14 remaining Samtrick fans were pleased, but for the general audience it was a complete fail and letdown. I wanted screaming! And slapping! And crying! I mean, come ON.

Lol, that was my point exactly. We're on the same side!

Sam was granted one line at the non-wedding, immediately post I'm-Jason-Morgan reveal, and now, when she actually knows that Nik was involved, nothing. I can't believe that she ever agreed to help Nik. The old Sam would and should have been "Well, that's your own fault. And don't expect me to have any sympathy for you after what you did for me."

And yes, now that you reminded me, I can't believe that Sam, after finding out her husband and the love of her life was alive, went home with Patrick and was going to go to bed with him like her entire life hadn't been ripped apart.

I still can't believe Jason isn't doing more to figure who Jason Morgan and Jason Quartermaine were/are. Being magically drawn to a couple of photographs he had in his penthouse apartment isn't doing it for me, oddly enough.

And slapping!

Please, no. It's bad enough the women are always sniping at one another. Let's not add slapping. Any shock value it once had is long, long gone. Now it just looks like the woman can't think of anything better to do, and the slapper looks immature and terrible.

Yeah, now that he's her stepfather (Jax, get up here and get your daughter back and reprogram her brain) it sounds just off. Who calls their stepfather Uncle? Even if they're a kid?

Robin called Duke "Uncle Duke" when she was a kid and he was married to Anna.

For some reason, soaps have this obsession with kids calling their stepdads "Uncle"--Starr on OLTL called Max "Uncle Max" when he was married to Blair, until she turned on him and started putting piranhas in his bathtub, anyway. I don't think I've ever heard a kid on a soap call their stepmom "Aunt Whoever", though.

I'll take the slapping over the sniping at this point, since the dialogue is so terrible and the characters have become so stupid and dull.  Sam slapping anyone at this point - even herself - would at least mean someone was pretending to give half a shit ... about something, anything.

should be right about now, actually. I don't think he signed a 4 year contract.

Ya'll think Nikky may be going to jail and Tyler leaving the show? It would be the first time someone actually paid long term for something since...IDK-Matt going to jail(I guess he's still there?)

And hee-Tracy is looking at Finn in those preview pics, like he's a deep fried porkchop smothered with cream gravy. Yum-o.(which ex is she mistaking him for, I wonder?).

C'mon, show. Shock us all and do a complex, witty and fun younger man/older woman pairing. I dare you. And since Finn has already probably made Paul mad, take it a step further and do a triangle. If you want to redeem Paul, having him be truly sorry for how he treated Tracy would be more believable and better, than this undercover baloney. Not that he's fit to shine her shoes, he isn't. But she makes him tolerable, even entertaining. Plus, I like that Finn absolutely seems to give zero cares about who Paul is.

The thing that surprises is Jason's enemy not taking advantage of his amnesiac state. Like he was a hit man and I am sure there are some relative out there wanting revenge. Why is that not happening or happened? That would really show Jason how dangerous being in the Mob was instead he has been getting the fluffiest look at what being in the mob is like. Hell, he now knows you get recover from being paralyzed in no time too.

That's pretty much it. "Oh, I'm remembering something? Derp."

And the church was even better. Classic soap, y'all.

Jason: I'm Jason Morgan.

Liz: Cool. You wanna say your vows first or should I?

Sam: Do you remember me, Jason? I hoped and prayed this would happen, Jason. All I talked about was you, Jason. Jason, does my voice and the number of times I say Jason seem familiar to you? No? OK. TTYL. LOL.

Patrick: ROBIN WUZ A MEESTAKE. SABRINA IS MY...fuck, I can't do this, y'all, I'm out.

Frank: JT, you are contractually obligated to stand there like a piece of dry flannel wallpaper until your official last day.

JT: Fine. Watch my mullet grow, IDC.

The main problem with GH right now is every storyline ends in dud.

Or they don't end at all, they just go in circles until everyone, characters, actors, writers, and audience alike, all forget what the original plot was in the first place. Then the writers just move the characters on to something else, with no real resolutions to anything that happened to the characters previously.

Why was I so shocked that GH did on location shooting? It was very B&B. Actually, it reminded me of AMC near the end of it's run. It was a nice change. I couldn't tell if it was just outside their studio or a park in California. Anyway, it was a nice change of pace. I'm kind of bored with Maxie & Nathan. They are on a lot but nothing really happens. I think it's because I don't think that RP acting is very good. There's no denying the guy is amazing looking but his acting has a lot to be desired. Usually, you have a triangle to shake things up. They did a bit with Spinelli & now with an off screen marriage for Nathan. It's a big YAWN for me. Maybe, RP needs to take his shirt off more. LOL!!!

Bet he rues the day that he became a cop and not a gangsta on this show.  It cost him some significant face/shirtless body screen time.  At least he didn't ask to become a doctor - else Nathan would probably be in prison with Dr. Matt and Dr. Stephen.

My God. He'd be most beautiful dumb doctor ever. They'd have to make him gay to get us (well me) through the damn show. RP can barely say his cop lines. It'd be amazing UCG to see him run through medical lines. He could've be worse than Dr. Drake Ramoray. We really missed out. Lucas missed out. He could be having a neurotic and boring love triangle with a French Poodle and a moron.

I know! The only person who got to deliver a satisfactory reaming out was Nikolas (!!) to his gunshot victim (!!!). Although, Scotty (Kin Shriner) looked pretty hot in his wet t-shirt. LOL!!! He looks pretty awesome for 62. I wish he wasn't written as a buffoon though. I'm not sure when that started. When he played Scotty in the more "modern" years on Port Charles he wasn't like that. I'm guessing it was under the JFP years but I don't recall who the writer was when Shriner returned. I liked nice Scotty of the 70's and the villain bearded Scotty from the 80's. After that, not so much. He can only do what's written on the page.
