ebk57 June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 I'm so disappointed that this show is closing before we're there. I love She Loves Me. It's an almost perfect musical. 2 Link to comment
mightysparrow June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 It's amazing what fear of aging can drive a woman to do to her face. Amazing and heartbreaking. 4 Link to comment

As scary as this is, I think she's has surgery to correct the really bad surgery. She looks, to me, a little better than the last time I saw her. 2 Link to comment

maraleia June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 It's really hard to be a member of the LGBTQ community today (I'm a lesbian) but these awards are helping me heal. I was thinking of going to the vigil in Boystown in Chicago but knew I couldn't take the sadness anymore. Lin Manuel-Miranda is fantabulous and a national treasure. 9 Link to comment

One of the reasons I'm watching the Tonys is because I wanted find some way to stand with my brothers and sisters in the LGBT community. 6 Link to comment
mojoween June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Daniel Dae-Kim...still hot. I'm happy that I'm able to keep up, I might not know everyone who graces the stage but I'm not too lost. I loved the open, James is charming. 3 Link to comment

I loved her so much that I still had love for her character on The Good Wife, even though Geneva was a huge bitch. So happy and excited for her. When my mom went up to New York to see Hamilton in April, workers were putting up the street banners for Shuffle Along when we got out of the theater. We were so sad that it was opening a few days after we left, and after seeing the SA performance, I'm even sadder. So happy that Hamilton is winning everything so far, but happiest for Daveed Diggs. He stole the entire show for me and I wanted him to win more than anyone there tonight. 2 Link to comment

I was feeling really guilty for missing the vigil here in Tampa so I could watch the Tonys, but the past hour has made me realize how much I needed this, after watching non-stop coverage of Orlando all day. Hugs to you! 4 Link to comment
Browncoat June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Ditto about missing the local candlelight vigil -- I live near Virginia Tech, and the vigil is being held at the memorial for the 32 people killed there. I was at the University then, and it's still hard for me to see the memorial. My heart goes out to those in Orlando. 3 Link to comment

Browncoat June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Like Steve Martin said, it's because he's famous. Seriously, though, it does look like an interesting show. 1 Link to comment
ebk57 June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Love Steve. The show is ... nice. I liked the music, but the book has tons of problems IMO. Carmen Cusack, though, is splendid. 1 Link to comment
SmithW6079 June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 (edited) I wanted to see "Bright Star" when "CBS Sunday Morning" featured Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Now I want to see it more. Oh, Meg Ryan. The "Law & Order" bit was funny. Edited June 13, 2016 by SmithW6079 2 Link to comment
Browncoat June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Oh, I love Steve, too! The Jerk was on Sundance earlier today, and that movie still cracks me up. I wish I lived closer to NY -- there are so many shows I'd like to see. Who hasn't been in Law & Order? LOL 2 Link to comment

Reminds me of the SNL sketch with Amy Poehler coaching Jake Gyllenhaal how to prepare for landing a bit part on L+O. But appearing on it as SIX different characters within the universe?! It's the show that keeps on giving and recycling! Much like SUV's plotlines. 1 Link to comment

Quof June 13, 2016 Share June 13, 2016 Damn, Cynthia Erivo. And it must be said again, Audra! She must be exhausted. I saw Shuffle Along in previews 8 weeks ago (and didn't love it). I could tell then just by the boobs that she was pregnant. 1 Link to comment
