I couldn’t wear nail polish or lotion during any surgery with the most recent one in May. The pre-op nurse also told me no lotions as some of them can become flammable during surgery.

I remember when my grandfather was in the hospital and the nurses would come in and use some kind of cream to keep his skin hydrated. Whatever was in that little jar was deemed safe, and he was at a much lower risk for surgery since he wasn’t in ICU. Wanting to comb your mom’s hair and trim her nails is one thing. Jill is just doing this for attention as always.

As odd as this might seem, when I have been in the hospital, I would make sure, if I could, to wash my hair every morning before breakfast. When I had pneumonia a few years ago, I did my make up! It made me feel more myself.  I guess Jill wanted to make her feel better? But she is barely alert.

Lol I was just the opposite. They had to force me into the shower when I was hospitalized.

I would be willing to pay good money to be a fly on the wall at the nurses station. There's no way they don't talk amongst themselves about this batcrap crazy woman.

They need to call security on the horde of likely superspreaders imho. That will give Jill a great persecution story.

They wouldn't let them shave her head because it better for her? I get it, you know your mom would be upset to lose her hair but at this rate, you are going to lose your mom.

Look at Jill's skirt dragging on the floor of a hospital! So gross! She may as well go barefoot like Derick (or was it Jill Dillard?) once did! I wish I could tell her that talking quietly to her mother or letting her rest would probably be better than caterwauling at her endlessly!

There is only one reason I can think the hospital is allowing this go on -- and it is not a good.   I feel for the Rod kids.

As for shaving her hair, yeah mom will be thrilled to have it growing unevenly with one side long and one side growing in from being shaved.   You shave it all so it can grow back evenly.   Who cares if she is bald while in ICU.   And if things are going the way it seems, well, that's what wigs are for.

Everyone who "knew her mom knew she had beautiful hair" - isn't her mom still alive?

She's been referring to her in the past tense since she's been in the hospital. It's unsettling.

I'm seeing a curtain in the picture so wouldn't that mean its a two patient room? Hospitals around here a strict about mask wearing. How can they allow the Rods to jeopardize another patient's health?

So everyone outside of that curtain also has to listen to the caterwauling.  I would be raising six kinds of hell if I, or my loved one, had to listen to that shit!  Every ICU I’ve ever visited or worked in allowed no more than two visitors at a time and they could stay for only 15-30 minutes per visit.  I’m shocked at the leniency of the ICU that Mrs. Noyes is in.

I was the only one in my hospital room and I had a curtain. It is for the patient privacy in case someone walks in or if the doctor or nurse is doing something to the patient and needs privacy.

I wonder how many visits Jill has actually made to the hospital. we all know her timeline is off on pics.

Jill has the same outfit on in the video posted the 10th and the singing video posted around midnight last night.

Her Daddy is wearing the same outfit in the singing video, the preaching video and the pic with the friend/relative.

the pic with the post about her daddy's tears is from his birthday party a while back.

my guess is Tessie was the one taking the singing video and this was on the day of Tessie's birthday photo op with grandma.

Jill and daddy have different outfits in the pics posted the 7th - the day ma had surgery.

I'm not too knowledgeable about this stuff, but mom's condition does not seem to be stable and it has been a while since the stroke.  Is it possible the staff know something and are letting the family do their own thing to help them accept the inevitable?

Same here. I went to a hospital yesterday, just for a short class pre a surgery I’m thinking about. The moment I walked into the hospital, the guys at the desk reminded me to put on my mask. Everyone there was masked, period. I even saw people walking about on the streets afterward with masks - I assume they had just forgotten to take them off when they left, but it was encouraging to see. It was 92 degrees too! And for those who complain that masks are dangerous because you can’t get enough oxygen, my pulse oximeter showed 99, which is very high. I was getting plenty of oxygen!

Anyway, I’ve had some irritating “roommates” when hospitalized. Really really irritating, but none were accompanied by a horde of fundies singing. I would’ve complained so quickly. And I am shocked that the hospital is allowing this, especially because they could spread disease to other vulnerable patients.

Yes, most hospital rooms have some kind of curtain to shield the patient from being exposed if the door is opened; even private rooms.

I am surprised that they are being allowed to visit en masse and without masks.  I expect that they are required to wear masks in the hallways and defiantly remove them once they get into Mama's room.  The nurses don't have time to babysit idiot family members who have some sort of point to prove about mask-wearing.  She's also in Columbus, an extremely conservative community with a lot of folks who probably don't 'believe' in a lot of the medical aspects of COVID precautions; so the nurses probably see people like them every day and are sick of it and don't want to waste their time trying to convince fools not to be foolish.

The fact that they don't seem to have many limitations on visitors indicates to me that Mama may not be doing very well and there is concern that she isn't going to make it.

Just yesterday, I was going to do surgery at an outpatient surgery center and some guy tried to get into an elevator with me without a mask.  I pointed to one of the dozen signs in the lobby and told him he needed a mask.  'Well, I don't have one.  Somebody should be standing at the door giving them out.'  He proceeded to try to get through the doors which I closed before he could.  Actually, I just had COVID last week, maybe I'm still contagious; I should've offered to breathe on him to see.

I have a bunch in my purse at all times. I would’ve handed him one and then insisted that he take a different elevator. And btw - the hospital I was in yesterday was UC health in Cincinnati, with a similar population to Columbus. I was shocked and pleased see so many, even outdoors, wearing masks. And many were students on the campus.

Its even crazier with the subvariant Omi-5 floating around. Its evading vaxxes and antibodies from previous covid illness. Vaxxes still seem to be lessening the severity of disease but really offer hardly any protection from getting Omi-5. I would say a recent (likely un-vaxxed) stroke victim with a brain bleed, laying in a hospital bed is at SEVERE risk of dying from covid. Sadly, if the stroke doesn't kill her JillR just might.

Covid or no covid, infection control is important. Many people from this family have gone to the hospital. Amy was there with her whole family. I just can’t understand these people at all.

I'm just trying to understand how a group that large, minus masks, is even allowed to ENTER the hospital in the first place, let alone make it through the halls, up the elevator and into grandma's crowded room.  As exhausted as medical staff is for having to constantly remind people of the rules, I can't see them allowing the Rods to do what they seem to be doing while visiting a critically ill family member - who is likely roomed near other critically ill patients.

Unless Jill and Co. mask up until they get to grandma's room, and then yank them off when the nurse makes an exit, I don't see how they can possibly be getting away with that many people in a room, with no masks, and Jill with her nail polish on top of that.  If Jill were to throw a fit, that's when the medical staff calls security.

They may not all be going to her room at the same time.  The hospitals where I work require all visitors to check in at an information desk in the lobby and won't let more than 2 at a time past the lobby.  They are all issued ID badges with their photos on them.

However, not all hospitals are doing this, and, even those that are will usually make compassionate exceptions.  I can see Jill and the rest of them loudly proclaiming that they have driven for hours just to see Mama and demanding an exception.  Or not wanting the minor kids to count in the tally.  Or, the hospital isn't keeping track and they are just going up to her room 2 at a time with enough time between them that the staff doesn't realize that they're stuffed in the room like sardines.  You see, most hospitals and hospital personnel expect that families have some common sense and understand the rules and follow them.

Also, it seems like a lot of these pics were taken on the same day, over the weekend.  Hospital staffing levels are at an all-time low and it is possible that there just aren't enough unit secretaries or other staff on duty on weekends to play traffic cop with visitors.

Hospital security is great, but it sets up an antagonistic relationship with the family, which, if Ma Noyes is expected to be there for a while, is going to become an ongoing issue for the already overworked staff.  Telling people like Jill and the Rods 'No' just doesn't work, they are not rational, they don't believe in rules except for other people and they are going to be a major PITA if they are challenged.

I think most people have no idea what hospital employees have to deal with on a day to day basis, especially since the pandemic.  As long as they stay in Mama's room with the door closed, don't make enough noise to disturb others, and wear masks and pretend to cooperate when they're not in Mama's room; it is quite possible that the staff is not going to open that can of worms.  People are really rude and obnoxious, and sometimes violent in hospital settings these days.  The nurses have enough on their plates.

I don't know about the singing, I mean it may be comforting because it us her family no matter how off key, but as a  christian scripture is comforting.

Does she even know the 23rd Psalm?

The GoToMeFunds are averaging $1000 a day. From what I know, usually the donations come in fast in the beginning and peter out. Maybe if JillR didn't beg for money on a weekly basis they would have better luck. I'm not sure they'll hit their goal.

the people we know who have had two recent gofundmes started out strong and then hit about $3000 and died. They were asking about the same as Jill. I think the usual suspects donate what they can and that is it.

i am sort of thinking Jill "gave" the anonymous $1,000 to inspire large donations and figured she would take it back out of the $20,000 she hoped to get. So someone gave $1,000 the first day and Nurie gave $100. about 40 people have donated for 3,045 and my guess is that will be about it. When it falls short of the $20,000, Jill will claim people just sent cash to the p.o. box instead.

She is obviously tagging her dad in every post to get Tim and Pat's fb friends to contribute. those folks might be outside of Jill's usual appeals for money for whatever.

Kevin Foster (amy foster) fb has posted nothing about Patricia. The Praying for Amy Foster fb has they visited the 9th and all, but did not include the gofundme appeal.

Oh yeah, she and David had to confirm that the school was on board with the KJV bible before allowing Tim to go there although the school made it clear that multiple other Protestant editions were also fine.  Then, Jill had a meltdown when one of Tim's profs had the nerve to tell a class that he much preferred an alternate translation to the KJV and that he had actually tossed out his own KJV because of that.  Obviously, anyone rejecting the KJV for another translation is a godless heathen and must not be allowed near precious Timbits.

The GoFund Me seems to be winding down already with only a few hundred bucks in the last 24 hours.  Unless Jill locates a new generous donor/sucker, it is going to fall far short of the goal.

I think Kevin and Amy got Jill's number when she threw a baby shower for herself, complete with a jar for cash donations, in the hospital waiting area while Amy was in ICU after becoming quadriplegic in a car accident.  If they do anything for Ma and Pa Noyes, they will do it privately and hand it to them directly; to keep Jill's greedy little paws off of it.

Just curious.  What number sibling is Jill?  Does she consider herself the "boss", or is she just pushy by nature. I wonder if the rest of the family truly does have her number. I am so glad I do not have to deal with this family at the hospital.  I feel so, so sorry for the staff that has to deal with  this situation.
