It's like Clark's and Cousin Eddie's shopping trip in the big box store except Nathan and Nurie will be loading the cart by themselves while the little Rodlets run around knocking over displays.

The skirt and the necklace are certainly choices--bad ones. Jill must be scraping the bottom of the discard bin at the local thrift store.

I think the skirt may actually be a dress, and the top a semi-sheer sort of thing. It almost looks as though you can see the floral pattern continue up underneath it. I don't see any description of the outfit, though, so I could be wrong.

Apparently, the description says "stretchy maxi skirt," which means the top has its own floral pattern. That makes it even worse than we thought. 

ETA: Jill probably made Renee wear a t-shirt blouse under the blouse. Maybe the undershirt has a print. Because nothing could make this outfit any worse than it is.

Good question about Samuel. He needs to work to keep Mahmo in presents, but how will he find a new helpmeet if he can't check out the young ladies at Nurie's church (ugh)?

The fact that Jill would consider a 20yr old man needed to be supervised is also ridiculous.

Jill probably feels Samuel is safe at work, if he is still at the place he started with last year. Then Kaylee will probably have Samuel over for dinner because how would a male cook for himself??

Timothy and Phillip seem to have managed to claw the tiniest fraction of freedom from mama which means Samuel and Gabriel are going to monitored and corrected more often.

(I haven't seen Phillip in any of mama's pics since christmas so guess he is living elsewhere or got a trailer in the driveway or something.)

if Jill is going to Florida for like a month I think Samuel is going with them. she needs a son to set everything up in churches. David is of no use. maybe Philip will go to Florida too.

Poor dogs will be dragged to FL for a long trip too.

 

Nurie will have 2 dogs plus like 9 siblings to feed and oversee before the plexus trip and certainly during.

You gotta love the Barbara Bush pearls in plastic. That don’t go with the outfit that doesn’t even go with itself. 
 

What exactly is Sam’s fantastic job? I’ve always had a soft spot for him. I could have seen him in high school being the kind of guy all the girls would be after. Tall, cute, and athletic. Probably a runner. just like I think Tessie could’ve been a homecoming queen, she’s so gorgeous. What a completely wasted youth, with more waste to come.

Sam can’t even string  two sentences together. He’s also David, Jr. IMHO. I have soft spots for underdogs, not kids I would have hated in high school, lol. Women are worth far more than their physical appearances. But regardless, I agree that all of the Rod kids have had completely wasted youths.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard Sam speak. He just always seems smiley and good natured, odd given his world. 
 

I’m just speaking superficially about those kids being in the real world of high school. I don’t know what they even sound like, or speak like (except when the girls go super sonic with their voices). I just find Tessie so extremely pretty, that that’s the first thing I thought of. Born into another family, I could see the both of them excelling in sports and being popular. I know their beliefs are probably the same as the parents (what else have they ever known?), but I am making up a fake world here! In reality, Sam will work some low paying job and have a dozen kids, and Tessie will marry the first loser that comes along.

She doesn’t wash anything she sells. On one item she said it had a grass stain on it so I’d take a guess Jill does not wash anything she sells.

I saw that post.  Apparently, she's butthurt that others beat her to the punch, and she got a bit feisty with another higher-up hun, over she and David not getting to go!  I'd love to see Jill getting the slap-down! 😜

Jill photoshopped the invitation. There was no guarantee she was going to get a spot on the cruise, and she knew it. 

Still, she bought a cruise wardrobe for a trip she didn't have locked in? I hope Temu takes returns. 

It reminds me of Mrs. Howell's wardrobe for a three-hour tour on Gilligan's Island, although Mrs. Howell was a nice person, and she could afford to shop.

I'm surprised that she admitted that she didn't win a spot on the trip. I would have expected her to fake an illness or injury (or invent some kind of family emergency) as an excuse for why she had to give up the trip.
