It is now late March and the latest episode is number 7. Geeze, this could go for 21 or even more episodes. That puts it at two more months, maybe late May, when the reunion will finally air.

So these Chuckleheads actually got  mentioned on ABC'S local newscast this morning. Like legit news, not a show where they all sit around making stupid jokes and do cooking segments. They explained it, called it Scandoval and also mentioned that the first show after the scandal broke VR ratings more than doubled from the week before. Since I think this show has been on life support, that has to be great news for the cast and Lisa and, of course Andy.

I think I might sometimes be a little unfair to Katie, but that "Awww, Thanks everyone!" Instagram thing she did. Puleeze. Thanking everyone for supporting, "me and Ariana and our sandwich shop" Erm, I'm going to say, conservatively, that about 98% of the merchandise-buying support is support for Ariana, so best put her name first in that list. Katie!  

Succession -- we tried one episode. Hub and I both felt there were no likeable characters, so it turned us off...does it get better?

This! Especially Sandoval, and his buddy Schwartz. I am OVER the both of them. I wanted to put my foot through the screen yesterday with dumbass Schwartz having a “funeral” drinking party for his dead lizard, losing another marriage license, and both him and Sandoval actually crying over the fact that Sandoval wouldn’t be at Brit and Jax’s wedding to tie Schwartz’s tie. GTFO. It’s not cute, it’s not funny, it’s disgusting.

Both Sandoval and Rachel can ride off into the sunset, and take their manchild Schwartz with them.

Somebody was asking about the song Sandoval's band was playing on the show (episode 4 which is on Bravo right now). They were playing at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills. It was not a cover, but a song Tom and his band wrote. I think that's the single that dropped the night Ariana found Raquel's video in Tom's phone. It's called Superstars. Found out that they played a gig in my hometown in January.

I saw a video of them doing A-ha’s “Take On Me.” Instrumentals were spot on, but Sandoval’s voice was very weak. He is a legend in his own mind.

I was having trouble posting for some reason and wanted to mention that I enjoyed Jax and Brittany with Andy. However, what really tickled me was them being congratulated on their podcast. Granted, I am old but the way they were carrying on ( and Andy too) I thought wow they're going to have a spin off. Then I realized they kept saying podcast. Ok I get it; lots of people do listen but  can't anyone kind of have a podcast?

 

I'm so looking forward to each new episode. And I agree with the comment that we are often promised high drama to find it either didn't happen or it's been oversold.

Don't get me wrong. After a few years of not watching, I am now indeed watching! (and looking forward to Wednesdays)

No cast member wants to film with Raquel in the future. Bravo would like to fire Raquel, but wants to tie the story line up- about how Sandoval and Ariana broke up.

They better be careful firing Raquel and not Sandoval. I worked as Risk Manager for many years and we faced an affair between a married man and a single woman that was causing a great deal of turmoil and distraction. Naturally, our nale boss thought firing the woman, who would have been , by far, the easiest to replace. Our legal department said no way in hell. We had no "cause" to fire either of them and if we wanted to find cause, we damn well better find it on both of them. I realize a TV production has different standards overall but, it's still sexism to fire the "other woman" and keep the cheating creep. It takes two. If no one is willing to film with her, fine, fire her. But they better fire him as well.

I would think they would just choose not to renew her contract? I'm pretty sure that's pretty standard for anyone that films a reality show.

They both need to go. Sandoval, in particular is LONG past his sell-by date. From what I’ve been reading about the reunion, he and Rachel are personas non grata. Him especially. Two people in any Bravo show are expendable, even moreso when they’re part of a cast of thousands like on VR. Just bring on two new Pump (or TomTom, or S&S) employees and move on. The way they’ve been featuring the S&S interview process, it feels like auditions.

Wait a bit after sacking those two, and Bravo has itself a new spinoff.

I highly doubt ANYONE will be fired, and I’d put every penny I have on every damn one returning, including those who “refuse” to film with Rachel.  They all want to stay on the show, so I am guessing they’ll be filming with her.  

This so-called dilemma regarding who will stay and who will go is a storyline, in itself - and Bravo and all of the players involved are in on it.  

I don’t think anyone will be leaving the show unless they choose to, and I’d be shocked if any of these fools are ready to give up the money or the “fame” that being a Chucklefuck affords them.

Bravo now thinks they can squeeze a couple more good years out of our aging Chucklefucks. The Chucklefucks want the money (and in a position to get a nice raise).

But I don’t think Ariana would film with Sandoval or Raquel and she kind of holds all the cards right now given the press. They certainly can’t fire her (aka “not renew her contract”).

Actually I don’t think they can fire any of them for refusing (Scheana, Katie, Lala, James). Use Schwartz like they did with Katie years ago for Stassi? That was stupid. Find a friend of Raquel?

I’m fascinated how this will all turn out. I guess we’ll find out if the Chucklefucks have a price. I’m sure they do. I don’t see any of them ever filming with Raquel again though.

I agree with you and am also eager to see how they do move forward with this.  My own gut is that the only one who will be immune to having to film with Rachel is Ariana.   Of course, I could be totally wrong.  I’m still not sold on Ariana refusing to ever film with Sandoval in the future.  These people are all wannabe actors and actresses, so I see every single one of them seizing the day and taking advantage of this storyline for their own benefit.  I can’t help but think their desire for camera time and the most compelling roles in this storyline are the ultimates goals for each of them, all other factors aside.  

Either way, the cliffhangers this question creates is a dream come true for Bravo, and as far as ratings go, is like Christmas morning for Vanderpump Rules. 

As all of the upcoming episodes air, time passes and some of the drama of this situation dies down, it’ll be interesting to see how many of the pearl clutching ride-or-dies are willing to budge a bit on their ultimatums regarding with whom they will and won’t film.  I guess we’re all in for a long wait!

Danielle Staub of the NJ HWs. She had to film with some random "new" friends, her real friends, as she called them, her daughters, and an ex con in S2. She was let go after that.

Since I've been watching the old episodes that have been running:

Stassi, Katie and Kristen were "best friends" but when Stassi broke up with Jax for cheating, Katie and Kristen took Jax's side.  Bare-chested bar fights, nastiness all around and the drinking of Jax's Cristal ended with Jax admitting his indiscretion, and come season 2 all was forgiven - Stassi was still pissed at Jax, but made up with Katie and Kristen who were terrible to her in season 1; was a bitch to Scheana who had been nice to her; they were all awful to Scheana; more drunken bar fights; Katie announces that Sandy and Ariana AND Jax and Kristen hooked up; everyone is mad at Katie until Jax admits he "banged" Kristen; her "best friends" are absolutely GLEEFUL to set Kristen up and humiliate her; Sandy is more upset that his friend of 10+ years cheated on him than his cheating girlfriend, but the friend in question says, "I'm not sorry, we weren't that close, should have satisfied your woman".  In real life every single relationship on this show would have been done by the end of season 2!  They move forward because they want to be on tv and to do so they must be "friends" with the rest of the cast, so that they can fight and insult each other throughout the season 🤷‍♀️
