I can NOT imagine being so self absorbed that I must post a teaser on Instagram to then follow up with *Breaking News* that I'm quitting dairy.  Talk about having your head so far up your own ass....

I mean he’s not wrong .. when a housewife doesn’t need the show to finance her life normally it comes across more relatable and natural.. (yes there are hiccups but even those wives seem to have an agenda that fans can smell and they don’t last) because housewives have been around so long we get the girls who know they need a angle to play or a roll to fill and don’t come on as their authentic selves partly cause they want the fame and partly because the check seems to be paying for more shit then it should

I wonder if Teddi knows how terrible her illness has been for ERIKA? Poor Erika, suffering all the stress from Teddi Mellencamp's cancer news.   🤮  So much stress she can't even meet a court mandated deadline (or more likely, pay her attorney.).

That's exactly how I feel too. It's become even more glaringly obvious. 

I think Kyle was always riding on the PK friendship train and merely tolerated time spent with Dorit. 

I know a lot of people think Sutton is the most desperate for a friendship with Kyle. I disagree.

Sutton defending Kyle annoyed me this season, but Dorit is the one who's super desperate to get back in with Kyle. 

Kyle's long since been over with her. 

I don't care how many lunch, or dinner, dates they set up to talk about how to repair their friendship. They're never going to be good like that ever again.

Same goes with Boz. 

The minute she started challenging Kyle about what she's said to people, Kyle was like, "Nope." She'll never really like Boz either for challenging her position on the show. 

She's happy to have Dorit and Boz to act as her backup for when she goes after other castmates, but she doesn't genuinely like either woman.

Don’t post much anymore, because frankly, I’m over the HWs. But I have been following Teddi’s updates, and it’s devastating.

Way too young. Kids are way too young.

She said on her podcast that John Mellencamp has called her to make sure she wants to be interred in the Mellencamp family mausoleum in Indiana. I cannot imagine having that conversation with my child.

I am so in awe of her bravery and grace in fighting this. I don’t think I could.

I've never been a Teddi fan, but my heart breaks for her because she's still young, and her kids are very young. 

It's tough going through cancer, but it has to be even worse when you're a public figure and strangers can be nosy about the details.

This is beyond low - to fucking USE a work acquaintance's life-threatening health issue for your own fucking excuse???  And, I say a work acquaintance because I really don't think there was much love there between Erika and Teddi, ever!!!  

Erika knows NO boundaries.  I really hope that she gets hit with a contempt of court citation for not showing up and gets fucking arrested!!!!  

I usually don't let the shit that these women do bother me overmuch - I watch these shows for entertainment (although lately, that's a bit of an overreach), and what they do does not affect my life in any way shape or form, but this is just such truly horrible, disgusting behavior it really, really, really pisses me off!!

Work acquaintance is the right term. Teddi Mellencamp has real friends who are seen with her, and Erika Jayne is not one of those.

I think that’s why Teddi’s been so open about everything, even down to talking about Edwin. It’s sad that celebrities feel like they have to do this — like Shannen Doherty and Christina Applegate — in order to tamp down on the gossip.

I don’t know why anyone’s surprised that another HW (Erika) would glom on to Teddi’s story to also keep herself in the narrative. It’s gross, but so on brand.

Teddi Mellencamp has been given 50/50 odds from her doctors of beating her cancer, she says.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and daughter of musician John Mellencampopened up about the conversations she's had with her doctors in a candid interview with Nightline that aired Thursday.

“I learned this isn't the best question to ask if you're doing immunotherapy, because immunotherapy has only been around 10 years," Teddi, 43, said. "It’s one of my favorite things to ask is ‘How long I got? What are my chances?’ And they oftentimes say 50/50. 50/50? I wouldn’t buy a car that’s only gonna drive 50 percent of the time. I don’t want this.”

She continued, "And [the doctor’s] like, ‘No, it’s only because that’s how long immunotherapy has been around so that’s how long the study has worked.' So that’s when I then try to find the positive.”

Since 2022, Teddi has been dealing with melanoma off and on, but in February she got the news that she had stage 4 melanoma, and it metastasized to her brain and lungs.

 

During the interview, she was asked what she most wants people to know about her at this moment in her life. "I think the biggest thing is don't take anything for granted," she replied. "Normally, I'm used to running seven miles, today I'm barely walking one. But you know what? I'm here and that makes me feel good. These are special times that we get to do any of this."

Still, Teddi admitted that she normally likes to feel in control. "This is completely out of my control, and for the first time, I'm like really scared," she said.

But nevertheless, Teddi said she's found humor in the situation, which helps her stay positive.

“If I didn’t find humor, I would cry,” she said. “Even with my kids, the other day, we kept forgetting something and we often go, ‘The tumors!’ It’s kind of the only way.”

Apparently, she's not the only one in the family with a sense of humor: Teddi revealed on the most recent episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast that a prior phone conversation with her 73-year-old singer-songwriter father led to him trying to plan her final resting place in the family's Indiana mausoleum. And during the conversation, she says he told her, "He goes, 'You want to know the good news? Hot girls never die.' That's going on my tombstone."

As a survivor, I used to obsess over what it was that I could've done wrong because I always tried to live healthy and keep active.

Sometimes that's not even enough. 

I can relate to Teddi's mind shift when talking to her oncs about her odds of survival. For me, arming myself with as much cancer knowledge as I could made me feel better in the long run. I'm still here.

Immunotherapy existed when I had cancer, but that wasn't part of my treatment program. Teddi and I don't have the same cancer, but all cancers are super scary, so my heart goes out to her (and her family).

I truly hope that Teddi's treatment is successful because there's a lot of promise being shown when it comes to immunotherapy.

I wonder if more legitimate sources have info on this because The Sun isn't the most reliable rag. 

Plus I think tabloids and gossip blogs are pulling theories from fan forums, so I'm skeptical of the claims.

That said I've no doubt Garcelle has moved forward and isn't trying to maintain ties to anyone from the show. 

I don't blame her.

Good for Garcelle for leaving. I can respect any HW that leaves on their own terms (although right now I can't think of any).   She got what she needed from this show and left when it became toxic to her goals.  

As far as cutting ties with the cast, I'm not so sure any of the ties on this show are too tight to start with and thus easy to cut.

I have wondered if Garcelle wouldn't have decided to leave if she felt she still had a strong friendship with Sutton. 

I can't with Dorit yelling at Garcelle about professionalism in the preview. Maybe Dorit should drop the constant screaming and cursing if professionalism is so important to her. 

Garcelle is too classy for this show.

This is, kind of, what @Yours Truly was getting at with that second response. 

I was reading their thread about the Reunion Part 3 preview where Garcelle leaves at the end before taking the cast photo. This wasn't some blowup moment as it was originally edited to be in the trailer.

FWIW, I think Garcelle had one foot already out the door at the end of Season 13. The continued bullshit in this season solidified her desire to leave at the end of filming/at the Reunion show. She was over it. 

I also suspect Sutton sensed she was over it, or knew outright that Garcelle would be leaving.
