Andre pretended to be Tony, when " Tony" was in love with Kristen and set up John for his murder..The show revealed that Stefano had imprisoned the real Tony on an island for 20 years. I hated that because Tony was a complex character...I love Tony and Anna together and I also loved Tony with Renee....Andre killed Renee...she was his first victim as the Salem serial killer..I will never understand why Stefano even talks to Andre...He killed Benji and was responsible for Lexie's illness as well...Benji's son should come back as a teen and interact with Steve, Kayla, Theo, Abe, Sydney, Johnny, Alli, Joey, Ciara, Chad and Stefanie....

I really don't understand this whole captive in the crawl space thing.  Beyond the idiocy of not finishing off Xander before leaving the room initially, Eric and Nicole crawled in through the grate, so why didn't Xander just take of the grate covering?  When Xander and Navidad left the first time, why didn't they just escape to somewhere else in the building? Do the writers want them to look stupid?

 

Do we think Navidad shot Xander because he was a wild card?

Will is an insecure idiot who ruined his marriage by his cheating and continued dishonesty and the only thing he was "right" about is that Paul and Sonny were once in a relationship.  Yes, Paul was Sonny's first love but Sonny still loves Will and wants their marriage to work.  It's Will who is sabotaging it and I think it's because he still wants Paul on the side while staying in his marriage to Sonny.

He is an insecure idiot, but the show has been trashing him to prop Saint Paul, just like it was done to Jack in favor of Daniel the magnificent...So much of this Will/Sonny/Paul interaction pisses me off.  I absolutely hate this sordid triangle as it goes on and it's despicable how TomSell are rewriting history just to prop PaulSon. Paul is on my last nerve. At least Sonny has resisted him so far. The guy is like a flea. I could use a break from all 3 in this triangle of doom. This story is just awful and I feel like it's going to continue to go in circles until Sonny leaves.

 

It is Ken Corday's M.O, he likes to create couples, and then takes a perverse pleasure in destroying them, simply because he hates having the burden of having his writers write character-driven stories for them...He has gone on record to say that he hates having supercouples on his show..Look at what he has done to Lucas and Sami, Philip  and Chloe, Steve and Kayla, Bo and Hope, John and Marlena, Sami and EJ, Nicole and EJ, Jack and Jennifer e.t.c...The man in an egotistical  hack and he has driven viewers away from this show...He said that the show did not need Steve, Jack and Bo, but he feels that we need Daniel as a hero....A perverted doctor that sleeps with his female patients..There is something wrong with Ken Corday....

Once again the writers continue to drag a SL out long after it should have ended.  Sonny and Will should divorce.  At this point, I don't believe Sonny, Will, or Paul are in love with anyone.

 

Why do the writers insist on turning everyone into obsessive stalkers AND claiming it's love?  The two are not the same.

 

I wonder if Nicole's subconscious is going - "Eric or Daniel, I bet my options would be better if I died."

Exactly Tigerlynx, I want Wilson to divorce and go their separate ways..They were too young to get married and Will did not get to enjoy himself as a single man. I want Will to realize that holding on to Sonny is not healthy, just like Billie did, when she told Kate  that her obsession with Bo was not a good thing and that it would destroy her in the end. She did a lot of bad things to get Bo away from Hope.  Will needs to get stronger for himself and his daughter and let Sonny go to be with Paul. According to Tomsell's writing, Paul is his true love and Will and Arianna were just placeholders. Justin had implied it before and now it is true after yesterday's episode...

Wow, I hope Ben takes note of what happened in today's episode.  He was giving Abby every opportunity to tell him the truth about Chad, and she very calmly lied straight to his face--Abs didn't flinch or look vaguely uncomfortable.  It was actually kind of frightening.  And I love how sure she was that Ben would insist on paying her half of the rent--I would have loved it if he'd revoked his offer of living together and just threw her out, but of course that would never happen.

 

Abs keeps talking about all of her relationships--she's only had one with Chad, unless in her mind being EJ's side piece constitutes a meaningful relationship.  She is more pathetic then any of us realized.

 

So Nicole could have potential brain damage from heat prostration--I guess that would explain her choosing to stay with Daniel :)

I don't see it that way at all.  Sonny's had every opportunity to let Sparkle know, for real, that he's committed to Will and it's never going to happen.  But he never cuts things off definitively.  He's always about the lingering handshakes and the soulful glances and the unfinished sentences and the pronouncements about why he loved Paul and never, ever saying he no longer loves Paul....hardly the definition of someone being stalked.

 

I don't think it's necessarily a retcon if Sonny decides Paul rather than Will really is the love of his life.   I certainly don't think he started  a relationship with Will with the thought in his mind that he'd be a poor man's Sparkle.  He never got the chance to explore a relationship with Sparkle that wasn't about being closeted and everyone goes around saying he and Will got married too soon.   I won't cry if Will doesn't turn out to be his true love especially since Will's a sneasely putz.  Real people make those kinds of mistakes all the time and these are just pretend people.  C'est la vie.

I think Cameron was her first boyfriend..I think that she had a crush on Max and nothing ever came of it..He preferred his nieces...Max became a Jonas freak, when he fell for Melanie..I I will never understand why  every man wanted Melanie....She had Nathan, Max,Dario, Philip, Nick and Chad, and Andrew panting after her...Nick and Andrew lost their minds over her..I don't think even Chloe, the most beautiful woman in Salem ever had that many men wanting her.. It was truly sickening to watch how many people were thrown under the bus to make the Jonas Family relevant...Sparkle has been getting the Daniel Jonas treatment, so it is nothing new on this show...

I was on Ben's side at the beginning but his morphing into a doting son to Clyde Weston has me hoping he goes all psycho so he can be written off. From embracing daddy dearest once annoying sister Tammie Sue left town to loading an app in his girlfriend's phone - I'm not sure he's redeemable (for me) at this point. I think the writers have written Ben into a corner - the only place he can go is full in Weston.

They have written everybody into a corner on this show...It would have been refreshing for Ben to cut ties with Abigail and walk away....Plus, Ken Corday has to have his bad guy in a triangle, so Ben has been anointed as the villain like Will and Theresa were in their respective triangles..

Chad/Zoe/Herald

Chad is sitting in the garden flashing back to when he told Abby they were going to have sex that night and then the sex on the ground. Zoe arrives and says penny for his thoughts. Zoe says Chad seems a mile away. Herald comes in and says hors d'oeuvres are ready and Chad tells him to bring it to the garden and bring Zoe a drink. Chad compliments her dress and Chad talks about the Clyde story being a flop which Zoe agreed and Zoe said her idea was Chad's story. Chad says he talked to Stefano about giving Zoe more say for the magazine which Zoe thought was great. Chad says she doesn't seem to enthused and Zoe didn't think them meeting was going to be about business and Chad asks what does she think it was going to be about.

 

Herald brings the food and leaves and Chad asks Zoe what she thinks the meeting was going to be about and Zoe says forget about it. Zoe thinks that there is something bothering Chad which Chad chalks up to being about business but Zoe doesn't think so. Chad said he could be thinking about Zoe but Zoe doesn't believe it and knows he's lying. Chad says he pays her to run the magazine not analyze his thoughts. Zoe said she doesn't want to see him unhappy and Chad asks why she cares and Zoe says she shouldn't and a bad idea to come and goes to leave but Chad calls out her name. Zoe asks what he wants and Chad says he was in a bad mood earlier and Chad thought she was coming onto him because he's her boss which Zoe takes as Chad thinking she's a slut and goes to leave and says she'll leave her resignation papers on his desk. Chad steps in front of her and wants to start over.

 

Chad apologizes for insinuating and Zoe said he wasn't insinuating he said it. Chad says he isn't looking for anything long term and neither is Zoe. Zoe asks if he has a confidence problem because of what Chad can do for her. Chad says he lost siblings and Zoe asks when the last time Chad had fun and Chad says when he had dinner with her which Zoe says good answer. Zoe knows Chad is hung up on Abby. Chad says he won't give her the idea of being hung up on Abby, which Zoe points out proof. Chad says Zoe doesn't have a clue to figuring him out and kisses her.

 

Ben/Abby

Abby asks Ben if something is wrong which Ben flashes back to Chad & Abby's argument. Ben turns around and tells Abby to tell him. Abby doesn't know and Ben says he didn't have a chance to get the place clean and Abby says it's spotless. Ben asks about Jen taking the news and Abby said she didn't tell her and Ben asks why and Abby says she's been thinking and can't commit to moving in with him until she tells him something and hopes he understands.

 

Abby says Ben isn't going to like it because it wouldn't be fair to be told after she moves in and hope there isn't a big fight. Abby says she loves him and Ben isn't so easy going and Ben says he's kept his temper under control and for Abby to let it out. Abby says she won't move in unless she pays half the rent. Ben takes a step away and Abby says she knew Ben wouldn't like it, Ben says that's all she had to say. Abby says she knows how Ben is which Ben inquires and she knows Ben has pride and wants to take care of her. Abby thinks something is off with Ben and Ben says that he's been on a high since Abby wanted to move in but then been thinking and Abby thinks he changed his mind. Ben says he's been wondering what caused Abby to do a 180 since she didn't want to move in the first time he asked her.

 

Abby says she's lucky and that every relationship she's been in was a mistake as they never took her seriously and how her family loves him. Ben asks how she feels and Abby says she wants to move in because she loves him. Ben says show him how much she loves him and kisses her. Ben puts Abby on the bed and tells her he's never going to let her forget how much he loves her. They get done having sex which Abby calls unbelievable and Ben flashes to Abby/Chad sex in the garden which he doesn't look so happy. Abby asks if he's fine and Ben says he's fine and goes to get something to drink. Ben looks at Abby while sipping a soda in the kitchen and says to himself that Abby is his. Abby is in bed and flashes back to Chad leaving rose on her pillow and Chad saying that the sex was everything. Ben slips back into bed behind her and he's made a decision which Abby can pay half the rent and Ben says he's never going to give her a reason to regret being with him and they kiss.

 

Serena/Eric/Brady/Nicole/Dan/John/Abe/Kayla

They all check on Eric and Nicole who are not responsive until Eric is able to open his eyes barely and sees Serena and says get away from me. Dan tries CPR and tells Brady to do anything to cool the room down and get some water and Brady runs off while Dan continues doing CPR. Brady comes back with water and Nicole coughs. Serena apologizes and Eric wants her to leave. They continue to attend to Nicole and Eric. Serena says she's scared and Eric wants to know why she's still here. Nicole calls out for Eric while in Dan's arms before slipping into unconsciousness when John and Abe enter the room. Dan calls Kayla and wants her to check on an ambulance which Kayla does.

 

Brady tells Serena to leave since Eric keeps wanting her out. Dan says something to John and Abe and they take their cell phones and leave. Everyone arrives at the hospital and Dan barks out orders and goes to check on Nicole while Kayla attends to Eric. Brady tells John and Abe that this wasn't an accident while Serena looks worried.

 

Eric is in his room and Kayla is attending to him. Eric asks about Nicole which we see Dan standing at her bedside and Brady enters the room and asks if she's better. Dan says her temp is 104 and in danger until it's below 102 and talks about her heart rate. Brady asks if they need a specialist and Dan says the specialist told him that they did everything they could and have to pray now. Dan says the longer she's out the greater risk of brain damage.

 

John is in the break room on the phone when Brady, Abe, and Serena enter the room. Brady tells the story of what happened and how someone wanted them to be dead because things being backed up against the panel. Serena asks Abe if they found Xander which they haven't. Abe's phone rings and gives information about Xander and mentions Victor. Abe says Xander could be nearby and will check his hotel room and Vic's house but there's no sign of Xander.

 

Eric wants to know if Nicole is doing better and Kayla goes to get an update. Serena enters Eric's room and calls out for him, Eric looks at her. Brady, John, and Abe are back in the boiler room with police officer and come to the conclusion that the person knows what they were doing. Eric asks Serena how does it feel that Xander did this to Nicole and him and how Nicole can die. Serena says she tried warning Nicole and Eric says she didn't tell her that Xander is a killer. Serena says she deserves everything Eric is throwing at her and she's grateful Eric is alive and hopes Eric lets her stay long enough to make him understand and Eric tells Serena to make him understand.

 

Dan caresses Nicole's cheek and Nicole flashes back to their relationship during the happy times of when they were all klutzy and when they were in the shower. Then flashes back to him not trusting Nicole and then them kissing in the park and in the boiler room with Eric. In real time Nicole starts to come to but doesn't open her eyes and Dan apologizes for doubting her and calls her the strongest, bravest woman and he loves her. Nicole calls out Dan's name and opens her eyes.

 

Serena says that what she says may seem hollow to Eric but it's truth. She came to Salem for the wrong reasons but it's the best decision she made because of Eric. She tried warning Nicole about Xander and telling Eric the truth but couldn't because she was a coward and afraid. She didn't care about herself anymore but she was terrified of Xander and Xander knew how much she loves him and it didn't start off as love but ended up falling in love with him and it's deep love and apologizes for hurting him. Kayla enters and tells Eric Nicole gained consciousness and apologizes for interrupting. Serena says it's ok and Eric wants to know whe he can see Nicole. Kayla asks if Eric is fine and Eric says he is and Kayla leaves. Serena says she's happy for Nicole and Eric and grateful and relieved.

 

Nicole says she was dreaming about Dan and wonders if it's still a dream and Dan says no he's here and she's going to be alright. Nicole says she was so scared thinking she wouldn't see him again and Dan says she's going to see him again, and again, and again. Nicole asks if she's going to be ok and Dan says she's going to make it just fine and loves her so much and Nicole says she loves him. Serena says Eric is quiet and Eric says he doesn't care what happens to her, if she goes to prison or cares to lay eyes on her again and how she disgusts him and wants her gone. Serena leaves. Outside the room a cop tells her she's wanted for further questioning.

 

Still in the boiler room they're still looking for clues and they say there's nothing on surveillance and Brady says that Dan will be able to tell them something but John says Nicole and Eric are the best sources to get the information. Meanwhile, Dan tells Nicole to rest and says he'll be back and Nicole says he better be. Dan kisses her on the forehead and leaves. Eric is lying in bed and flashes back to him and Nicole kissing in the boiler room with Nicole thinking on it too. (Last scene of the day)

 

Xander

Xander is dragged away from the park. Xander's hands are tied to a pillar in an abandoned room with a gag in his mouth. Xander wakes up and tries to get free to no avail and looks like someone is approaching him.

All sympathy for Mannequin went right out the window. Back to calling him mannequin now. He had perfect opportunity to put that bitch on blast but feels he has to one up Chad. Why does anyone want to claim that raggedy looking creature? Here I am thinking that the manufacturers finally installed a brain in mannequin that either malfunctioned or the manufacturers said fuck it and didn't even bother. Everyone in this triangle are lame asses.

 

Glad Zoe isn't a moron, she can read Chad like a book and glad that she isn't going to take crap or be insulted. Knowing these misogynistic writers they'll rewrite her and make her think she can't go on without a man. So I'll enjoy it while I can. To give Zoe credit she knows Chad is hung up on that creature so it's why she said she's not looking for anything long term, she'll take the short term thing and leave.

 

Then Jar Jar acts like she's going to tell Mannequin about putting out but she doesn't want to move in unless she pays half the rent. Really bitch??? Mannequin should have sweet chin music her ass right then and there and if you don't know what that is, here it is: 

 

Continuing on with brain dead people let's talk about dumbass Brady who tells Abe and Yawn that Dark Roast would know something about Nicole and Eric being almost killed. WTF does Dark Roast know?? He doesn't know shit, only people that answer that is Nicole, Eric, and Serena. Dark Roast isn't the be all to end all. As Yawn pointed out Nicole and Eric are the key to information.

 

Speaking of that Dark Roast bitch, the writing for him just continues to piss me off with Brady saying that Nicole may need a specialist and Dark Roast saying he contacted one and the specialist told Dark Roast that he did everything that could be done. Of course he did, he's Dr. Miracle, next he's going to cure HIV, breast cancer, prostate cancer, terminal illnesses. He's gonna do it all.

 

Here we go again with Eeyore Eric telling another woman how much she repulses him. Yawn. Whatever. Who doesn't repulse ole Eeyore?

Also why was Ben having flashbacks to Chad/Abigail in the lawn and Chad's bedroom? Unlike the rest of us, Ben was fortunate enough to not see it.

Paul is not an obsessive stalker just like Stefano is not a killer or Daniel is actually an ethical doctor...The man is constantly running after Sonny begging for some type of affection. He is truly pathetic just like Abifail who once begged EJ to be his mistress....

 

I got the ickiest feeling when they were sitting at the table and Paul was telling him he was going to stay in Salem regardless, and begging Sonny for love again.  And it hit me suddenly - because they've done such a great job of destroying Will I guess - that this is the man his husband cheated with begging him for love.  And Sonny kept trying to leave, looked pained and had to say yet again that he is MARRIED.  We can start over, WTF?  Creepy as hell.  I hate this triangle and it's gone on waaayyyy too long.  We had a lot of great discussions about it a couple of months back but I was over it even then. 

 

On top of that, the same day we got the pointless Brady/Sparkle bonding over manly things.  I hope they hate each other.  Soon.  Sparkle's "I pretended to hit that" regarding Theresa just about made me puke.  I mean, the Sparkle Show the other day was so damned boring I would have preferred a repetition of an interesting conversation in its place. 

 

As for Dirty Dan, you all have said it better than I ever could.

Chad is stupid because he seen how easily that unidentified species cheated on Mannequin with him. What makes him think that she won't do the same to him? He already knows that she'll stoop so low as to sleep with his brother. Side pieces always think they're special for some reason, and I'll never understand why and I'm referring to Chad being the sidepiece in this. Pathetic.

Has Chad ever waxed poetic about what he sees in Abigail?  He calls her beautiful like everyone else on this show, but other than that I can't recall anything he's said that he really loves about her. The writers don't know either?

 

I know EJ was a pig, but he'd give out long speeches to Nicole and Sami about what he saw in them. And you could tell he could see beyond the surface.

Because Ben has the JJ syndrome:  This girl is so much better than I am!  Clyde reinforces it daily.  Boway that's some classy girl you got there.  What's infuriating is how Stephono is fighting for her too as if she's some kind of genetic prize.  Is KM screwing the entire writing staff or something?  I have to say, the writers have given Chad some really great lines.
