Part of me suspects that this might be part of Paul's plan to come out. Manipulate Will so he gets a pass to come out and be free to pursue Sonny, but also cause problems between Sonny and Will.

As you yourself said, Paul and Will don't know about each other and now Will's bosses are manipulating the situation so they won't know.  So how exactly is Paul manipulating Will here?

It's just a theory that I've read that Paul might actually know Will is Sonny's husband and he might be planning on coming out anyway so he can have a clear shot with Sonny. I said in my previous post that it's just a theory and I doubt it would actually happen, but it would be a cool twist if the writers could manage such things.

Ok -- Toothy can just go back to "Europe". Now.

I am so over her flouncing, grinning, nosey (maybe Serena doesn't want to divulge the kiss-by-kiss details of her and Eric), entitled (making your Dad do your Christmas shopping and not even giving a list), whiney self.  Going to Europe may not be enough. DIAF.

And what is up with her propensity for starting fights?  Every time she's mad at someone (Theresa lately) Toothy is all ready to rumble -- and in a very public hospital.

Toothy acts like a 14 year old girl  -- a cross between a classic mean girl and a whiney brat (I'm going to tell my Daddy).   How old is she supposed to be?  By my math somewhere between 25 and 30.  Grow up already!  She's *supposed* to be a professional -- a nurse no less.

Listen Toothy, if you want a grown up, responsible job, act like it.  Don't just expect to get a job because your Dingy Doc Daddy is the bestest, most awesome surgeon that ever lived and BFF Brady is on the Board.

Someone up thread said every time they see her all they can think of is the 80s.  I think it's the big hair. No one except Naggie Maggie wears that big bouncy hair.  Girls/ young women today are into smooth (flat irons) or the beachy waves.  Toothy is all Farrah Fawcett in her prime.

And I cannot say this enough --  I love Anne M.  She is the voice of truth.  OK yeah she does go after people she doesn't like -- Judgy Jenn, AbiFail, Toothy, Dingy Doc -- But we don't like these people either!!

None of them actually do any work (except maybe DD sometimes). But all of them swan around the hospital and Salem like God's gifts to the world because they are Hortons/ related to someone once married to a Horton.

Alice Horton would not have tolerated the way Toothy acts.  Back in the day she read the riot act to Judgy Jenn more than once.

Oh Alice where are you when we need you.

I like Anne, but I have no problem with people giving it to her, except when those people are Jen or Abs. I too find myself wondering all the time exactly what work does Jen or Abs do? Even Theresa? I like her, but does she do anything at the hospital?

See, I think Zoe (and probably Derrick) are being set up as middle-man bad guys, so none of the guys in the triangle get too dirty.

Where did Kristen take Teresea's embryo? Did she literally take it out of Teresa's womb?

Yeah, that would be how you steal an embryo.  I've been resisting for weeks now the urge to mention what the physical result might be for Theresa.  They'd have to have the placenta intact so they'd need to do surgery.  No way.  And Theresa even with a D&C would be....nevermind.

  • Love 2

I tried, I really did, but I cannot stand Melanie or Serena. Melanie just inexplicably annoys me - her mouth, the way she talks; I know it's not a fair thing to dislike about someone, but I can't help it. But I think Serena grates me even more. She's just so stuck up, and (as someone said upthread) is trying WAY too hard to come off as worldly and 'jaded by her harsh experiences.' Whatever, I can do without the attitude. And really, Daniel says "It's so nice to meet you," and she says "Thank you." Not, "It's really nice to meet you too?" Yeah, sorry, I can't it; I can't feel any kind of empathy with a character like that.

They're coming on too strong with Serena for sure. They needed to ease her into the landscape but they just shoved her in full stop, same with Melanie. Melanie had verbal altercations with three different women on the show and one man and she's barely been on a month. It's all a little rich coming from her as well considering she was in Theresa's place 4 years ago, if anything she should relate. She was the town outcast and pariah for 2 whole years before she became anointed with Jonas/Horton blood. I would like for once for one of these asshole characters to be as respectable as their names purportedly claim they are and reach out in friendship or at least empathy to the Theresas, Samis and Nicoles of Salem. It's just such hypocritical bullshit. Gah! So bitter that Melanie is back, and this is from a former Phelanie shipper. Why couldn't Molly do as well as Shelley Hennig (go girl) then I wouldn't have to see her on here again. Oh where's my box of chocolates, I need sweetness.

Why would Will's sexuality or relationship status come up at all?  The interview's not about Will.

Hahahaha! Of course it is. It's always about Won't. Always.

I think "chick who plays Serena" aka Melissa Archer, is at least as talented as any in the cast, and better than most. Far and away better than some. Given decent material, I think Archer can be really compelling. I'm not certain yet that Serena has or will have decent material.

I most sincerely do not love Ann. I don't think she's the voice of truth; I think she's a self-aggrandizing little snot-nose. Hating Jennifer, while understandable, does not constitute a personality.

Oh weird. I thought she just changed the tests, Sami-style but Teresa doesn't seem to be feeling symptoms of anything, so I  finally had to consider that something fishier was going on and that Kristen did indeed take the embryo. Of course, implanting it in herself! is screwier than even I had imagined.

Viviian did it to Kate twenty years ago with Phillip.

Actually, what Vivian did is at least plausible.  Victor and Kate were using IVF - mixing their contributions externally and reinserting them.  Vivian pretended she was trying to get pregnant as a single mother, switched Kate's with her own, and had Victor and Kate's child implanted in her.  She carried Philip, because the newly implanted embryo could not be removed and moved over to Kate.

I like Anne probably only because she does hate Jen, but I agree with you that she isn't the voice of truth. I have no issue with Serena getting in her face since she has no problem getting in others' faces.

ICAM about MA either. I watched her on OLTL, and I thought she really grew as an actress there. I thought she was outstanding during Jared's death and follow-up, but she made it look so effortless that IMO her acting often went unheralded. She never went crazy or developed alters and on that show those were usually the pre-requisites for kudos.

I do think right now Days is really pushing her onto the canvas, but I don't believe for a minute that Eric is her long term story. He's her introduction. I can do without the flightiness and forgetfulness. Maybe it's to show she's juggling a lot of items, or maybe tptb think it's cute? Hopefully, this won't last.

Didn't she even have hormone shots that allowed  her to carry?  So awful that storylines are either dragged out or truncated like this.

I think MA is fine; imo she's not all that compelling, but obviously YMMV. I watched her on OLTL and she does have a certain natural air about her which I like. But there are a lot of really good actresses on DAYS - KDP, JL, MBE - who I have no doubt would be turning in amazing performances if any of them had good material - the problem is, no one does.

  • Love 6

I've given the show a few quickly glances in recent days and have the following to say...

-Paul (?) is clearly trying to play that he has chemistry with Sonny, and I don't think they look too awkward together, but it's annoying that the first interesting Sonny storyline involves such a weird new love interest.  On paper, he works fine, but in actuality, I don't really believe either actors as gay characters (I suspend disbelief with Sonny).  Paul does succeed in making it seem like he'd be closeted, but just not attracted to Sonny.  Know what I mean?

-Glad to see Eric getting some action.  Where have I seen this red-headed actress before??  Too bad they didn't bring him back from Africa and immediately launch into this.  His new apartment and mojo make him seem far more interesting.

-Melanie is STRANGE.  Annoying.  Nope.

-Did John seriously just take off after Mar spent months at his bedside???

  • Love 3

There's the Brady I know and loathe!  He's never really absent, never really all that far away.  I couldn't count the number of times that baboon has lurched after some woman so he could tower over her, get just a little too close, bunch his little snake eyes together and physically threaten her without actually saying anything.  Except, of course, for the times when he does.

I'd say 'good on him' for standing up for Mel if it wasn't apparent (to me anyway) that threatening ANYBODY, but especially them thar wimmin folk gets him all warm and gooey inside.  It looked to me like he did frighten Theresa, too, so good on her for telling him he was nothing but a rich spoiled bully.

Yep, Mel did deserve some defending, and yep, both Anne and Theresa were being inappropriate.  But in Salem the only way to bite back at the entitled seems to be to play dirty.  And why not do it when no matter what you do, if you're outside the sacred circle, you'll be sneered at and disregarded and poked fun at - and that's if your lucky.  If you're not, then you'll be hounded and hectored until a new victim is found.

I spent the last 400 years of my life working middle management at a hospital.  My hospital had the best nursing staff and patients got great care, even though we had an administration that would have made the Soprano family proud.  But at no time, ever, did any member of the board stick his nose into anything other than the hideously expensive luncheons they had catered.  At Salem Hospital, it seems the Board members prowl the halls looking for things to do.

When Theresa gets her baby back, she can tell Brady it's nothing more than a bag of flour.  That bag of hair won't know the difference.

Show needs to figure out why many viewers detest the "heroes" and root for the villains, and why some of the day players like Anne and T elicit a more positive and warm response than their airtime warrants.

I did not need to have Serena join in the "Dirty Dan is DA MAN" chorus so soon after arriving in town, but I guess it was inevitable.  If she's going to be with the IN Crowd, she has to earn her letter sweater and learn the Cheer.  Now that Show has done that, can they back off the extraneous crap and just let Serena and Eric do some bonding while Nicole steams?  For me, that could be good tv.

DIAF.

I do not remember her being this annoying last time around, at least not towards the end of her run.  Maybe I've just forgotten, but honestly this version of Mel is only going to work for me if having her around means less airtime for Abigail.  And as glorious as that would be, that won't be enough justification to last all that long.  Her spoiled brat routine is rather tiresome, but along with that I'm not warming up to the way she expresses herself - and her particular acting tics......Patience, maybe it will all tone down some.  I sure hope so.

Right now I'd like to see Ciarra take an instant dislike to her and giver her an unscheduled return tour of the town tunnels.

I like Anne, but I have no problem with people giving it to her, except when those people are Jen or Abs. I too find myself wondering all the time exactly what work does Jen or Abs do? Even Theresa? I like her, but does she do anything at the hospital?

On the subject of Anne - I see more than just her dislike of Jenn and Abigail - let's not forget Abigail - as if we could.  One of the things I enjoy the most when the character is on is the humor she brings to the show.  Days is painfully lacking in fun of any sort, and most of what we do get is provided by Nicole and Anne and T.  And Anne and T are only recurring.    For that reason alone, both will always be favorites with me.

And in the spirit of full disclosure, I would LOVE anything and everything that brought harm or even mild discomfort to Jenn and Abigail.  If a safe fell on their heads, I'd honor it like I honor Chandelier from OLTL and Park Bench from AMC.

Yeah, that would be how you steal an embryo.  I've been resisting for weeks now the urge to mention what the physical result might be for Theresa.  They'd have to have the placenta intact so they'd need to do surgery.  No way.  And Theresa even with a D&C would be....nevermind.

Show made it seem like Kristen just popped that embryo out like a sucrets and then stashed it in her compact, to be inserted at her later convenience.  No matter that Kristen was about as viable to carry a child as Brady is to figure out the puzzle in Highlights magazine.  I sort of see her raising it in an aquarium with a grow light  or something, and then showing up with it in Salem perched on her shoulder like a talking parrot.  Kristen, of course, has an eye patch and a peg leg.  Show makes it impossible for me to take this crap seriously.  When said baby is ultimately reunited with Theresa - and Brady thinks it's a sack of flour - I will gladly banish from my mind all thoughts of how baby came to be.

A rhetorical question for Show - Does Show REALLY wants its viewers PLANNING AHEAD ON HOW TO FORGET A STORYLINE?

But then I have soooooooooooo many questions for Show - almost as many questions as I have curse words.

I agree the lack of decent material is an ongoing problem. I find the introduction of Serena (anybody else think of Samantha's kooky cousin? Because giving her magic powers doesn't seem all that unlikely with this show.) worrisome. Why does she have to be given history that we've never heard any hint of with so many on the canvas? When she first arrived, she told Maxine she'd only met Marlena once, at a medical conference, but now she's getting hugs like an old friend from both Eric's parents. Now, maybe she was just unwilling to share her personal business with Maxine (maybe they've met before, too?) and maybe Commissioner Grampa Mumbleteeth doesn't remember her at all, and is just over-correcting, but it all seems a bit unearned and convenient. Add her instant relationship with Melanie (I'm sure they were besties from their time in Yurp, because the continent/country is so small and cozy) and I'm ready to cry uncle.  Build some relationships over time, show! Your storytelling will be the better for it!

  • Love 6

I hope they don't make Aiden evil.  Scheming is fine, but not evil.

Brady seriously needs to DIAF.  Do the supposed good guys know that there are better ways to get what you want than by threatening people?  If it's not right for Anne to play queen of the anthill, then it's not right for Brady, Jennifer, Abigail, and Dr. Tan to try to trump her with the board member or friend of a board member card.  The entitled smug radiating off Brady today was really sickening.

Serena continues to grate.

Maybe I've just forgotten, but honestly this version of Mel is only going to work for me if having her around means less airtime for Abigail.

THIS.  Melanie and her weird faces and baby voice will never be as annoying as Abigail.

Add her instant relationship with Melanie (I'm sure they were besties from their time in Yurp, because the continent/country is so small and cozy)

You know, maybe it's a bit of progress that Yurp is given the same treatment as Africa in this regard.  If the writers aren't even bothering to learn the names of European countries anymore, it could be one very extremely tiny step away from Eurocentrism.  A more evenhanded laziness, if you will.

Another day of no Abifail - someone loves us.

I'm intrigued by the Aiden story - I'm really interested to see what the story is between he & Bree & why she's so scared of him - I just hope it doesn't turn out to be something really lame(which knowing this show - it probably will be)

I do like Melanie & would rather have her be friends with Theresa then enemies & I'm tired of everyone blaming Theresa for what happened with Brady - she didn't force those drugs on him - he was already using when they hooked up.

I would enjoy the Will/Sonny/Paul story more if I actually liked Paul but the more I see of him - the more he is really starting to annoy me.

And I still think they are rushing Serena/Eric - they have no chemistry & I don't enjoy them just shoving Serena at us with a convenient tie to Eric & his family - would have been better if they'd actually made her a character that actually has ties to the canvas - someone we already have met before (say Sarah Horton?) then what we've been given.

Yeah, I was wondering how this would be physically possible. At least when Nicole switched Sami's baby with Mia's (or whoever's), the babies were no longer embryos and were actually out of the womb....uh,.I think?  I can never keep that storyline straight.

Edited by bantering

It just occured to me that Aiden's story is GONE GIRL. If you haven't seen the movie or read the book, I won't say any more. If you have, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Oh, that would be nice. I want Aiden to be a good guy. Or goodish. Just not a murderer.

Brady, you are dead to me. Dead. Not just the brain dead that you've always been, but really, really get-off-my-screen-you-emotionally-abusive jackass dead. Melanie barging in right after Brady left with all that huffing and puffing and finger waving? That's okay by Brady, no doubt, and anything that happens as a result is surely all on Theresa. Because Melanie=quirky and adorable, Theresa=devil. If ever there was a time to invoke the "She started it" defense, it's been these scenes with Theresa and Melanie.

I can't stand Caroline, but she's the only one who's bothered to be nice to Theresa...where is she? Girl needs a hug from Grandma.

I'm not sure why Anne didn't just tell Brady that she didn't think hiring a brat with no impulse control was such a good idea. I'm pretty sure getting into a physical altercation with a current employee before you've even been hired is as good a reason as any not to give someone a job.

And Serena continues to grate, with all that Mad Hatter stuff, looking at her phone muttering about the time and missed appointments.

Glad to see Eric getting some action.  Where have I seen this red-headed actress before??  Too bad they didn't bring him back from Africa and immediately launch into this.  His new apartment and mojo make him seem far more interesting.

The actress is Melissa Archer. She use to play the role of  Natalie Buchanan on One Life to Live.

I agree about the character of Eric. Being in scenes these past few episodes has actually given the character some much needed LIFE!! I'm enjoying him in scenes with Serena.

  • Love 3

boes, way back up thread you talked about NY-area soaps and the higher caliber of actors available for those shows. I immediately thought of Elizabeth Hubbard who played Lucinda Montgomery Walsh on As the World Turns. She was riveting and had a wry sense of humor. Elizabeth could have been acted on the stage or screen, yet she stuck with ATWT and played the hell out of a major character. Just love her.

I think Melanie will calm down a bit after she gets her footing. And I love the idea of her being frenemies with Theresa eventually. The trouble those two could cause :)

  • Love 6

The writers need to dial back on all of the praise they are heaping on Serena.  First we had Melanie squealing over her and her epic African romance with Eric, and now we have Marlena and Roman annointing her as Eric's soulmate and how he's never looked happier than when he's with her.  We got it writers, Serena is beyond fabulous and we better agree or else.

I'm also having problems with the chick playing her.  She's playing Serena with this world-weary air but at the same time, she keeps widening her eyes and smiling innocently like she's some sort of coquette.  Is this something the actress did on OLTL because it's very disconcerting.

Who knows, maybe I'll like both Melanie and Serena when they are given a storyline that doesn't revolve around every character talking about how awesome they are :):)

This would do wonders, I agree. Forgot to mention earlier that I also don't get what's up with Serena's habitual "omg, look at the time!" -- I get that she's used it a few times to avoid talking about the subject at hand (i.e., Eric), but the writers have been so obvious about it (even for them).

  • Love 4

Count me among those dsigusted by the writing for Serena (and everyone else basically). The "omg I am always late" schtick is tired. The actress does not have enough charisma to overcome this crappy writing and incessant propping. She makes weird faces, too. I will gladly take Dan and Nicole and fastforward Serena and Eric.I guess Anne earned it, but she was beyond rude.

I could actually like Melanie if she would just tone it down a few notches--maybe that is just memory of all the hell she raised in the past. I am really hoping she and Theresa will come to an understanding. Sometimes I really have no hope for this show. Will and the baseball player hooking up is the only thing intriguing, since it seems show has decided to destroy the only happy couple.

  • Love 3

Has Brady gone to rehab yet? Maybe he could stop blaming women for hooking him on drugs if he went to rehab.

He doesn't need rehab because he has Maggie to talk to--I'm sure that's what Maggie thinks :)

Seriously, I kept waiting for Brady to admit that he'd been using drugs and drinking long before he and Theresa hooked up, but he did not.  Instead, we got to hear him call Theresa a whack-job and mention that she's dangerous and was super-mean to Jen and Daniel and now she has her sights set on Melanie, so Melanie had better be careful.  SERIOUSLY??!!!

And Kristen gets to walk around with Brady's and Eric's forgiveness after committing rape.  And she's also going to get Brady's baby because she apparently deserves all the happiness in the world while Theresa gets to be treated like garbage.

I just want Theresa to get her crap together, forget about tormenting Dr. Tan and his off-spring and get on with her life away from Brady, Anne and the hospital.  She needs to get a new job and start interacting with new people and just as a side note, wasn't Melanie raised by another man--the person Nick went to prison for killing--so she's only known that Daniel's her father for about four years now, give or take, so what's with the "I don't want Daddy to be disappointed" schtick?  She was an adult when she met him, what's with the regression?

At first I thought Paul was kind of cool, but now he just seems gross and very indiscriminate with his conquests.

  • Love 4

Well, Paul ain't even trying is he? That lingering handshake with Will was such a giveaway, even Sneasel managed to figure out something was off. Does he really think that is the way to 'act straight'? He really needs his manager to come back, if he even knows that Paul is gay.

And then TMZ-Bellhop offers his services too. I'm surprised Paul said no since he said he's not a monk and he could probably use some distraction from Sonny. Who is Paul gonna choose? Dude has too many men vying for a spot on his dance card.

And will Mama and Gramps be joining us for Christmas?

Lucas is going to be in the dog box for sure, but I am glad that Lucas is also picking up that something is wrong with Will and Sonny. Bad job for Will not to tell his own dad he is back.

Why would Sonny refuse Adrienne and Justin's offer? Where does he plan to get the money from since he refused Paul yesterday as well? Sonny does get points for trying to discuss the club issues with Will though.

Sneasel gets points from me for calling Sonny right after he was done with Paul instead of making him wait even longer like I thought he would.

I knew Sonny would be upset that Will didn't come back to Salem for him, like he implied at first. I think Sonny is being a tad bit immature here. The fact is Will was fired, and he had to come home. I'm sure Sonny would not like Will staying in LA without a job to keep up a pretense. Does Sonny want his husband back or not?

I do think Sonny has an issue with Will choosing his career over him because of what he went through with Paul, and that's fine, but he shouldn't have made out that it was okay for Will to go if he wasn't okay with it. We'll never know what Will's response to that 'no' would have been, but that's life.

I also think that because it was short notice, WilSon didn't really get to discuss what the six months would have looked like. In Will's mind, Sonny would have had to come and see him or move out there for the duration which is a realistic expectation. I get why Sonny assumes Will would still be in LA if he wasn't fired, but it's unrealistic to assume that they wouldn't have had to adjust their schedules to make time for each other. By the looks of it, Sonny would never have given up on his club dream to even move out to be with Will (even though Will's job seemed to be the trickier one to get time off from), so where would that have left them? In any case, the club is tanking, so had Will still been employed, Sonny could definitely have moved to LA. BOTH of them seem like they were unwilling to compromise, so Sonny should just be grateful that fate stepped in to make the decision for them.

Now, Sonny better not rush to Paul's hotel room and do something he can't take back because Paul has done the same thing that he is upset with Will for doing.

I do think Sonny has a right to be upset that Will wasn't upfront about telling him he was fired, but that should lead to him telling Will about the club AND Paul. Honesty goes both ways and Hypocrite is not a good look on you, Sonny.

This whole thing just shows that Will has been taking Sonny for granted. Even though Sonny is the more mature one in this relationship, it's nice to see that he also needs affirmation that Will loves him. Will really needs to make this up to Sonny and quick otherwise Paul will be ready to pounce. I may not always be a fan of Will and WilSon, but I am a fan of marriage and I hope these two kids can sort this out.

I generally agree with the comments here about the lack of subtlety in the writing. However, I think that whoever is doing the Hope/Aiden story is doing a fantastic job. Aiden is being so manipulative in such a subtle way. He has wrong-footed Hope, making it her problem that she is caught off guard and curious about what she is hearing about him, acting like she is being nosy and overbearing, all with the end game of getting her to basically apologize for acting like a rational person. I really liked Hope's reaction, all the way up until she said she wouldn't gather any more information about Aiden. She defended her actions (which needed no defense) like a grown up person until then. Having been in some relationships in the past where I was subject to the same kind of manipulation to the point that I ended up feeling like I was a crazy person, I think the writers are portraying that very accurately and I'm interested to see where it goes.

I am having a bad reaction to Melanie.

What is with that watch Brady has been wearing for the past couple of days? The band is so wide it makes his hand look child-sized.

The way Paul acts, I am finding it extremely hard to believe he hasn't been outed already.

I thought the text from Sammy to Lucas today was really funny. I could picture Sammy suddenly gasping and grabbing her phone to frantically text Lucas not to tell Sonny about Will's firing. I felt like I could just see exactly how she would have done that - and it made me realize that I miss her.

  • Love 4

I think Sonny's tired of being the one expected to pick up and follow Will.  Wasn't there some tension with that when Will wanted to follow Gabi to New York?  "You can tend bar anywhere!", anyone?

Yeah, I actually forgot about that and I actually don't agree that Sonny always has to be the one making sacrifices, but the writers always weight it in Will's favor cos he wanted to go to NY to be closer to his daughter ( who Sonny can't compete with) and now with LA, it was so he could follow his family and they made the studio difficult to negotiate with.

Also, I think I need to lie down because I want to see more of Paul and Will. I think Paul and Will would be hotter than Paul and Sonny. That cat and mouse thing that they have going on could shape up to be super sexy.

Did Paul turn Derrick down cos he'd rather play with Will or because he loves Sonny? When Will came in Paul turned away and smiled to himself for a moment. What was that about?

Enough of the girly catfights, have Theresa punch Toothy's teeth out so she'll have the standard 32 instead of the 50 extra she keeps in her mouth. Brady once again don't want to get the full story and of course Theresa started it. Did it not escape Brady's mind that he just left out of that room and Theresa was in there. Therefore process of elimination Toothy walked in there and started her shit. Brady seriously needs a brain transplant. IDK why anyone owes Toothy an explanation on the matter because it's none of her damn business and she's not dating Brady (I really need to come up with a nickname for him because the ones on the hall of nicknames just don't have the punch or the zing factor).

We all see how serious Paul is about Sonny when he's constantly flirting with other people. If writers want me to believe that Sonny is the lost love that got away from Paul then they need to make that shit believable. Just like after the EJ/AbiFail affair, EJ claimed that Sami is the love of his life, it was a mistake, yet the next day EJ is chatting it up with Jar Jar Binks. Yea if he wanted Sami back at the time, he should have kept his distance from Jar Jar, not indulge in conversation.

No Shrewena, Eric isn't worth a fight. Would be if he was actually interesting. If he was a bad boy, then he needs to get back to being one, style his hair a little differently, change his wardrobe and he can pull it off and may give GV more range to work with as far as acting goes.

I have to agree with AssCole on this one cause all I was saying was STFU RoboMar. One question and RoboMar is playing 20 questions. Granted she shouldn't be asking about Eric but still just RoboMar always in psychiatrist mode.

Thank you Sonny, Sneasel is only back at Salem because he was forced to come back. If he was still working he wouldn't have any time for Sonny or call him or anything like that. He would still be ignoring him.

Please don't pair Lucas with Adrienne, she's such a buzzkill.

Brady sent him off to Yurp to deal with a Basic Black crisis.  Because somehow, Brady is CEO of Basic Black while still working for Titan.

And yet we never see him work - ever.  But we do get treated to him asking Nicole to use her job as a tool to threaten an investor with, an investor who has the audacity to wonder if Brady is up to the job because of his drug and alcohol abuse.  The NERVE of someone to wonder to wonder if Victor's idiot grandson actually IS an idiot!  Why that's like having the nerve to inquire if Abigail is wearing her Frontline.

Wealthy characters on soaps are a constant, I know.  It used to be that characters who act entitled because of their wealth or family position were characters set up to learn a lesson in humility.  Not anymore, it seems.

Enough of the girly catfights, have Theresa punch Toothy's teeth out so she'll have the standard 32 instead of the 50 extra she keeps in her mouth.

This line will keep me laughing for the rest of the day!  PERFECT description - and the imagery is priceless!!

I find it VERY hard to believe that Paul has managed to stay in the closet for so long.

This mess with Sonny/Will/Paul is so contrived. Will maybe be a clueless ass, but I can't see him being gone for weeks without calling Sonny. If he wanted to everyone to thing things were going well in LA he would called Sonny on a regular basis so no one would get suspicious. And Sonny is ridiculous for refusing his parents help. Does he plan on acting like everything is ok until the bank comes knocking and he ends up bankrupt? If he accepts money from Paul he's just giving Paul something to hold over his head.

I look at the Theresa/Melanie scenes and all I see is wasted opportunity. The idiot writers are wasting their time because I will NEVER be Team Jawn/Dan/Jen/Abifail.

Maybe Paul just wants to have sex and wants it to be with someone who won't out him.Sonny wouldn't do it, Will can't because of the confidentiality agreement, and Derrick probably wouldn't risk losing his income from the hotel.

It will be beyond dumb if Sonny goes running back to Paul for the money: ' I don't want your money, no I do, no I don't' etc etc. Ugh.

The springs in Paul's mattress are sure to get a workout based on the fact that he can't even look at the bed without having a sex flashback, the question is: when?

I don't understand what Derrick's purpose is if Paul doesn't want to bone him. Maybe Paul is trying to determine if Derrick is trustworthy first? It can't be that Paul doesn't want to appear easy, because he's not exactly selective about who he flirts with.

Perhaps the writers are going with the 'Paul is a steadfast lover' angle. Too bad it's undermined by his incorrigible flirting with both genders. Maybe Paul gets sad around Christmas and that's when he lets Derrick 'fluff his pillow' for him.

Oh, I forgot to add how much I 'loved' the fact that Serena called Nicole a bitch, but she doesn't even know her. She just got to Salem five minutes ago, and she feels it's okay to judge others? This, coupled with the insta-love from Eric's family is turning me off.

And maybe RoboMar should have went into the priesthood cos she sure loves dishing out sermons to Nicole.

I hope Serena turns out to be shady just so Nicole can laugh in their faces.

I did like Brady telling Melame she needs to tone it down, but I hope that Theresa gives him the cold shoulder when this is over. Eric and Brady can't be nasty to these women and still expect to be welcomed with open arms when they find out the truth.

Is MB already flubbing her lines? I didn't think anyone could be worse than Lima Bean.
