Andy had a  caller on his show today (yesterday?) that asked about viewers turning against Bethenny. He said that she is very self aware and will take accountability for her actions when she knows she's gone too far. I found it interesting that he didn't really defend her or deny the Beth hate.

I think two people have seen the edited reunion footage and don't like how they have come off.

The issue with Bethenny is why is it she is so interested it what Luann has done in the past with her body?  For a zero-fucks person she and Carole sure like to talk about it.  Just once I wish someone would throw back in Bethenny's face to mind her own business. I don't need to know as a viewer if Luann was skinny dipping with the house manager.   Now she is some great hero because she didn't expose some issue because it might hurt innocent families?   Did she ever once think about Kelly and her daughters, Luann or Sonja?

I think Bethenny is angry because Luann snagged the engagement storyline.  Boy Bethenny every heard of the word Snitch? Who is ever going to invite her to a party again in the Hamptons?  I can't see Andy ever being comfortable inviting her to one of his shindigs.  Marijuana, Ecstasy or Coke.  What's the difference Bethenny?  They are all illegal in NY - esp out in the Hamptons.  And Sonja has never talked about using medication on TV, despite Bethenny going there on her own last season.  Why is she the human truth cannon with other people's mental health?

I think Bethenny saying people with addictions shouldn't be on TV, is pretty tacky.  Maybe people with unresolved issues about their parents, should not be allowed to be on TV and disparage their parents and thrust them out for public scrutiny.  She might want to look in a rear view mirror because of all the women on all the franchises the one who gets mentioned the most with excessive drinking in Ramona.  If the woman had to power down 3  or 4 glasses of wine at the Reunion last year, maybe she has an addiction issue.  If one walk into someone's home and demand two drinks at once, maybe that person has addiction issues.

Per zoeysmom link above, I think Dorinda nailed it with LuAnn and Tom being "both sporty" among other things.  It's so much fun to have a "teammate" who enjoys the same activities.  They're kind of their own team of two soulmates.  They seem to share a love of travel and outdoor activities, along with intimate compatibility.  Really rare to find at any age, so why not go for it when it comes your way.  I'm rooting for them.

Bethenny trying to damage control should have started when the Berkshires episodes first aired.  There was obviously  turning of the tide since Bethenny went from guest editor to no blogs since July 6th. Back when the episodes first aired. Bethenny was all about bragging about being a pit bull.  In one sentence she is mocking Luann for saying they spent time together over the summer and citing two occasions when they were together, in the same paragraph she is claiming Luann was with "dozens of men" over the summer.  How would she know?  How can you ask people to believe your version of events when exaggeration is your weapon and belittling is your defense.

Going gangster just isn't an admirable quality.  Her claim over the hairdo setting her off is something we are suppose to use as validation for poor behavior.  She definitely has power that Andy Cohen via a show on Radio Andy has handed her and turned it into the Carole/Bethenny pre and post game show-a radio program she promised way back when it started, early this year, it would not be about Real Housewives, just a lot of celebrities and her fascinating real life and then there is the "guest editor" role poor sick little Bethenny was handed at Bravo.

It took me a while to figure it out.  It looks like an oversized knuckle or knee.  I've seen the photos she set up of them house hunting that she made sure the paparazzi were there to snap and he looks nice enough,  Just a really bad shot, but obviously she wanted us to see the ring and not the knucklehead. 

Just me but I find it in really poor taste to post that the second her divorce is final.  Nothing to do with Luann or Tom but because she has a child with that man and it's a shame to see her total lack of regard for how this stuff will affect her child.  And it will.  Too many wolves raising children in that bloodline.

I think Beth is the type of person who just can't be happy.  She doesn't know how to 'be' happy because her life has always been focused on being unhappy.  First is the worst childhood ever.  Then comes the struggle as a 'poor' girl living on the upper east side (IIRC wasn't daddy paying for that place).  She met Jason and thought he would make her happy.  But he didn't.  She had a child but she had to share that child with her husband and his family.  She made a huge deal with Beam but it wasn't enough.  The talk show was a failure and her obvious disdain for not being the focus showed through.  She leaves Jason and thinks that 'she' will get her daughter to herself.  I think she really believed that she would have full custody of her daughter and her dad would get to see her every other weekend.  She returns to RHNY to get the 'love' she had when she was originally on the show.  That's not working out.  Beth will never be content and stop to smell the roses.  She can't be happy for someone else because she doesn't know how to be happy herself.   She resents anyone who doesn't gives her the attention she craves.  And anyone around her who gets more attention will be the object of her scorn.  She will always be the 'victim' despite everything she has. 

Her mother said in an interview that Beth has always been the way she portrays herself.  She's probably right.  Beth 'needs' attention and she'll never be happy.  That is who she is and she'll never change.  She will always think of herself as the 'special snowflake'.

For the first three years all the women on the show were very supportive of Bethenny finding love and happiness.  She just can't seem to return the favor.  Because she knows it all.

Well, she's already announced her next book is going to be on how not to get fucked in a divorce.  Way to go 'mom'. 

Chances are is that Bryn will walk away IMO.  It's very sad.  If you truly love your child, they are your first priority.  I'm not seeing it.

listening to her show is hysterical. she truly, truly believes that she is great and better than all of her co-stars and all of the female pop out there in nyc.

In a way, it is wonderful that she has such great self esteem, on the real, she comes across as delusional and conceited.

As far as her boyfriend/fiance, she makes no bones that she is only interested in money in her choice of mates, so in a sense, he is the perfect mate for her.

She is right though about her appeal, I love to watch/hate her and now listen to her radio show for the same reason.

His type of money lenders are the worst. They take advantage of mostly poor people who have secured financial judgments for either injuries or civil rights violations. They sometimes have to wait months for their settlement monies to come in, and in the mean time take out loans from people like her boyfriend who charge usurious rates knowing that they will be paid back because the settlements are guaranteed.  

Talking about Luann/Ramona/Sonja fishing in the same pond, she knew this guy and his wife for 23 years.

Man, these guys are bottom-feeders. I used to work on Wall Street, and these vultures are disdained by even the worst.  The big companies that started this stuff are J.G. Wentworth and Peach Tree funding. Many of those awarded settlements are victims of auto injuries that are horrific...and many were reasonably poor to begin with. Lawyers for the insurance companies love these "structured settlements" as they are called, because the insurance companies are liable for relatively small payments yearly, while the payments go on for 30 years. Say you are awarded 250k...but over thirty years...the insurance companies are counting on holding onto the bulk of that 250k and deriving income/interest from it. They rarely award the total upfront...and most lawyers won't fight for their clients because it's an easy win with the insurance companies if they take the settlement deal...and they announce "hey, I got you a quarter mil" not mentioning that it rarely makes up for the lost job income and ongoing physical or mental therapy that a victim might need. Even worse, these companies go after the victims after their lawyers have gone...calling them directly at home, with a sweet sales pitch. Many victims are not financially savvy and many are not well enough to handle the pressure after finding that their big settlement in monthly dribs does not cover the month...they are easily baited and taken advantage of by these bastards.

Never let anyone you know accept a structured settlement...fire any lawyer who would agree to it, since it is the easy way out (the lawyer will get his full pay from the insurance folks, for playing along, and it will also come out of the total settlement).
