I don't think the surprise that would shock anyone is Emem and Brandon. They have already announced their "engagement." Plus, I don't think anyone really even cares or believes her.

Maybe Camille and Tom are expecting? Maybe David and Madison already got married? Maybe Michelle and Karla hooked up? Maybe Karla finally told Juan that he can't sing?

I watched most of it.  Not much new. 
They really want David to tell them he was already intimate with Madison when he sent the eat u text.  Obviously something was going on but he is going to say the same things over and over while throwing in more apologies.  Michelle surprised me. She admitted watching back that she was a big brat to him and she would change that. 
During Juan and Karla’s segment I was looking for some discord. I thought she had a look in her eyes at times of being irritated with him but she kept her cool.  
Brandon trying to shake Ikechis hand and of course Ikechi won’t.  I tend to believe they are together as I don’t see lying about a miscarriage for the show. Especially when she says she wants a family. The part about Cal marrying them though was over the top bs.

Started drifting off during the David and Madison segment,

i feel like last season was worse than this one. It’s a close contest but last season I just didn’t like anyone at all and they were all awful to each other.

Why did they keep showing David's hand with a wedding ring on with no comments? 

I'm sorry (not really), but those faces that Emem makes that show her acting just so superior make me crazy. I hated when the pretend boyfriend fawned all over her and called her his "Olivia Pope." Not even close. IF she had a miscarriage, I am sorry, but I have a hard time believing anything she says. 

Also, what the heck was the big surprise that was supposed to render everyone speechless? I heard nothing new.

Knowing what we know now about Juan and Karla, I thought something might come out last night. She sure gave him side-eye, but she didn't say anything. And, whatever he said to make her family try to blackmail him must have happened off-screen, because we didn't see anything. Maybe he confessed that he already had a girlfriend and was just doing this for publicity. That is not a reason for blackmail since more than half of the people on this show seem to be guilty of that lately. Did Karla have ANYTHING on under that lace dress? But, she did appear to have larger breasts than she had during her season.

I was also glad to see that Michelle realized that she was a huge part of the problem with David. I hope she truly does work on that and that the show will do a better job of vetting these people. Her own family and friends said that she is very guarded and hard to get to know. They only have 8 weeks - she is not the right candidate.

I did not even start to watch that following show with all the best and worst couples so far. Did anyone?

So, are we done or is there another show next week? It kind of looked like there was, but maybe that was just a preview for the show that followed.

Emem seemed really fake to me during this episode, and she took the long way around to answer questions so I thought she really liked to have the center attention.  Brandon seemed beyond fake to me, so perhaps they really are a love match! I thought Pastor Cal handled the 'marry us now' request quite well-emphasizing that he would agree to talk to them and that would be the first step for him to marry anyone.

Yep, lots of trying to improve images going on.  Michelle and her redemption tour and Ikechi even making some 'humble' comments.  With this much time between the end of the season and the reunion, it does allow the participants time to reimage themselves.

Camille self-promoted herself with her humble-brag 'I've been contacted and told that if this marriage doesn't work, he would like a chance with me on Married at Second Chance.'  Give it a rest.  Thomas seems to be the 'catch' in that relationship.

Oh, Karla?  Juan made a very minor mistake on the honeymoon and you're still carrying a grudge about it.  What?  you were only married for a couple of days when he was having such a good time that he forgot about you for a moment.  I may be in the minority, but I don't see it as a big deal.  It's not like you were in a long term relationship, he just met you.  Oh, and it seemed to me that she was angry under the surface in this episode.

She said in this reunion episode that she was initially worried that her apartment wasn't big enough for her and David, but it's worked out well because she's usually traveling for work during the week. I believe it's a promotion she got after filming wrapped since the rigorous travel wasn't part of her lifestyle on the show from what we saw.

There's more! I think the central plot point is Emem's wedding with Brandon but maybe with other filler. I'll watch because I'm a glutton for punishment like that, but really - I'm done. They're done. Can't we all be done with each other?

That is a very good job and she is on the young side to have it. Good for her. I'm not a fan of hers but I'm impressed.

Last season was so much worse. All the "optics" and guys vs. girls and junk was so, so terrible and not in a remotely entertaining way. Some of the drama this year was at least mildly interesting to watch, and most (though not all) of the people seem like reasonable adults who managed to not totally lose their cools on the reunion like last year.

I thought everyone looked so uncomfortable in their clothes except Allen. That's part of the reason that I don't like the women wearing evening gowns; it's just hard to find one that is comfortable and looks good sitting (plus it's just a ridiculous occasion for an evening gown). I thought Juan and David also looked uncomfortable in their clothes.

Next time on Married at First Sight…  You just had 2 reunions. Now there’s more updates, a day in the life show with Madison and David living together and burning their dinner and whatnot?!

I know this man was not even technically part of the show but Brandon??? Whooo, boy. Is this man suffering a traumatic brain injury or something? There’s something just not right about this man. I was giving the same looks that the experts were giving each other when he was just going off. Emem is just sitting there eating it all up. I wonder whether they have actual conversations or it’s just a year of intense love bombing. Seems like the more ridiculously effusive he is, the more she loves it. Like, even the “my man, my man, my man” into a sex gesture clapping wasn’t enough for her to be like, uh, hon, let’s rein it in. At some point in life he’s going to stop putting her on this pedestal and then what? It’s going to be a big fall.

Not enough to apologize ON SCREEN, apparently. 🙄 WHY can't she muster up ONE to his many even if they're meaningless??? Like, I guess she won't mean it, but damn! Michelle acknowledged her bad behavior & said she apologized in the experts segment. I guess it was a one-time deal since it's never been shown on screen. Contrast that with David apologizing constantly. Why won't she just apologize ONCE on screen??? 😕 It comes off like she isn't sorry. Like he was worse, so she doesn't need to apologize when he does. Idk about David's numerous apologies, if they're genuine or image rehab. Hard to believe a terrible liar. David can't Google gaslighting?!! KF too?!! "Something crazy"?!! GTFOH!!! & the misquoting was annoying, he didn't say, "can't wait," he said, "I just wanna." 🙄 Why didn't he say Juan's lie??? Because he was into Madison & checked out on Michelle & didn't wanna mislead her, perhaps. 🤔 Maybe not, since he kept saying he wanted to continue with the marriage, but I guess that wasn't really to be together. WHAT was that for??? Maybe he didn't want to be rejected yet again by his wife? Ugh! & Michelle said he thought he meant it for her, so what would've happened if he said that? How would that have changed things? That's what should've been asked!!! Screw the timeline!!! So much time wasted on that BS!! SO DUMB!!! GAH!!! So many other, better questions should've been asked!!!

Juan looked for other ways to be turned off to Karla because he wasn't sexually attracted to her. I guess he doesn't realize that. 🙄😒 If he wanted to do her, would he really have found those differences to be dealbreakers??? He wanted to get to know her & do things differently? Uh huh. Did he use this new approach with his new girlfriend? Ugh. They should've let him finish what he was saying, now I have to guess. She said he had no consideration or care for her being his partner. Oh Juan. Hateful? Saying he forgot about her wasn't hateful, calm down with the dramatics or wrong word usage. It was thoughtless & they should've delved deeper into what he meant by that or what he meant to say, both at that time & the reunion. I think he addressed it on the after show. The other husbands were buying things for their wives 5 days in & he showed he cared by being loyal, faithful, honest, respectful, & didn't cheat on her? Uh. No. & even KF said so. Those are basic duties. I guess he thinks those are major since they had a cheater this season. Was he saying he didn't care for her at that time, that's why he didn't buy her anything? Could he say he ever really cared for her as his wife? Maybe his approach was ignoring they're married & trying to figure out if he liked her, & show consideration & care if he did like her & want to be with her. 🤔 Unless what he did was what he really values & would do the same for a partner he was into. Makes me think of prioritizing & how some people have a basic prioritization for people they interact with, while others don't & deal with them on their time, when they feel like it, they're not a priority at all until they reach a certain level of importance.

Brandon... Wowwww. He really said & did that & didn't care. Is he for real with that???!! 😳 Doesn't know how to act on TV or Henny still in his system? 😕 EMBARRASSING!!! Jumping up, putting PC on the spot asking him to marry them. & Ike's weirdo azz just walking out & rejecting Brandon's handshake? He really said nothing to excuse himself? Still refusing to make his facial hair presentable, I see. Ol' ugly! He said some reasonable, coherent things... Open & honest & had his back? & can't explain it? 😕 TRASH!!! I keep thinking him & Shaq would be a great couple! 😂😂

I finally watched this tonight - to me the funniest part was the look on Emem's face when Ikechi said, "We're all human beings with feelings" 😂  (closely followed by the look of trepidation on Ikechi's face when Kevin said they were going to discuss someone who caused lots of trouble - which turned out to be Allen's dog! 🤣)

You are right. She did owe him an apology. Those flashbacks of her looking down her double chins at him was rude. He was gentlemanly to her throughout all of her nasty treatment of him. 
At least he’s with someone nice and fun now who doesn’t have a giant stick up her ass!

Someone on this thread said he had a few screws loose.  I think that number is much higher.  I dont like Ike and think he has screws loose too, but I am going to go with him on this one.  Why should he stick around to listen to this homeless guy's crazy bullshit? I'm with you on the beard.  My barber would never allow that.  He felt crushed after visiting Em's nice apartment, and after hanging with Em at a professional party where everybody ignored him and talked to Em instead. Em may have a screw loose herself. Alot of nutters on this series; its almost like this how attracts them.  I dont think she is going to make it with the rebound guy.

Why'd Em look so stiff?!! She looked more disturbed. She was robbed. Idk about her saying of the experience. Screw the experience, the point is a spouse. How could she say that when she ended up with someone better, apparently? 😕 Add Karla, Allen, & David to the list. They all got spouses who quit or were never in to begin with! This experience can bring out the worst in people when they think they didn't get what they wanted & feel stuck or trapped. 🙄 People that don't know how to behave shouldn't be selected, but eh... They had ex & new couple expert segments. Hmm. Interesting. Didn't need one with T&C or J&K or was it cut? Madison finds David handsome & just needs no XXL shirts? Muscles? WHERE?! 😕 I wonder if his family was attractive to her versus Allen's. 🤔 & KF asked Juan & Karla when they knew it wasn't going to last... DID THEY TELL EACH OTHER?!!! Apparently not since Karla introduced him to her family, so WHY'D she do that if she knew it wouldn't last?!

Karla’s sister said that Karla found out about a big secret of Juan’s on day 1 or 2. They’ve known for the entire time.

Michelle asked the experts about the switcharoo rumor, which they flatly denied. I do believe them since Madison specifically said she wanted someone white and Michelle asked for a light-skinned Black man, which she got. So, it all boils down to attraction and compromising, which most of these people did not have. I don't care what PC says, you DO have to be attracted to your partner.

So, do we actually know Juan's big secret? Is it that he has a gf already? If that was it and Karla knew on Day 1, I would have asked for a new husband. No wonder he forgot about her and enjoyed his day out with David.

The non handshake was weird. Brandon is odd. It’s like he’s love bombing Emem to be the opposite of Ikechi. But he’s gone too far.

Anyone would have been better with David than Michelle. The woman is mean, lazy and rude. She doesn’t like to have fun or do anything. David likes to go out and party as well as watch sports and work out. They had no business setting him up with a boring shrew dud.
