The cameras and the other women following Alexis and Shannon! I thought Shannon looked better than Alexis in that scene.  

Shannon's community service is working at her church's thrift store (from Watch What Happens Live). She has to use a breathalyzer before she drives. She said John Janssen is giving interviews in red carpets, but otherwise he didn't like her fame when they were together!

I love all the dogs!

I think this would be her third one. She had one when she was in college, or just after (by comparing older photos- not me, social media sites), and another one at one point after she joined the HWs.

Terry needs the name of Gina's plastic surgeon. His nose has taken on a life of its own. 

I do not feel sorry for Gina. At all. She complains about Travis' ex, but he and his kids moved in with Gina and her kids way too fast. What did either of them think was going to happen down the road with 6 kids all thrown together in a shoe box? Though I do think Travis really loves Gina, and is in love with her. Gina? Not so much. I think Travis was a FU to Matt, and she has outgrown him. She may love him, but I don't believe she has ever been in love with him. 

Jenn just keeps making one mistake after another. Another person who moved on way too quickly. Though I can't wait to find out what is being alluded to regarding Ryan. Will Jenn finally see the light? I'm not holding my breath. 

Johnny J really traded down with Jesus Jugs. Shannon is so much prettier. Looks like maybe Alexis will have her eyes opened about Johnny J as the season unfolds. Loved Emily saying in her TH that he is a douchebag. 

Why is Heather still on this show? She doesn't live in OC any longer. Did the BH franchise not want her? I loved the new girl saying that this is the first time Heather has said hello to her. I am here for any howife that is not impressed by Heather. I am bored by her house reno-ing.  It stopped being entertaining years ago, though it appears to be the only thing she has to offer the franchise.

The OC is back! 

I think  Emily looks great, but I did before  she lost any weight, but I love Shane more! ..  I have never been keen on Gina, her voice  is so grating. I always thought, she still had a thing for her ex, no matter how good Travis was to her.

I can't  stand Tamra, her nasty one liners are never  funny to me, she's looking  old imho.She made up with Alexis, let's see how long that last. Heather  was Heathering, talking money, houses, more houses. Her hubby with all that money  should get his hair dyed professionally.  I do like Jenn, Tamra really  hurt her last season .  I thought Shannon looked lovely, I wish she had given up drinking ,  obviously  she'll  be watched like a hawk. I'm glad she's no longer with sleazy JJ, I don't  know what she saw in him, he's creepy. They all gathered  at the window to watch Shannon and Alexis, that  was a bit much,   the party  must of been totally  boring.

Shannon looked really really good walking into the party. I have a couple of drinks and it takes me three days to recover. 

I don't see Tamra with much camera time on this first episode. She will find something to do to get the camera on her. Unfortunately, Jenn.

Emily and Gina continue to annoy with making random comments in these really dramatic ways with lots of facial expressions like they are saying something really important or eye opening (they aren't) trying to be wise and clever like Bethanny (who was also annoying, but she did have a significant fan base). Emily has the same drama/attention seeking need as Annabelle. Gina's daughter also seems to be as anxious and attention seeking as Gina.

I can't believe Gina and Emily are still on this show. Also, Gina wants her boyfriend to feel bad for her and comfort her for HER breaking up with him? 

Katie seems really really cool. She is just there to cause drama with Heather

I really like Alexis. She is feisty. She was friends with Slade, who was pretty much a Jhonny J. 

Shannon and Alexis are going to make this show fun this season. Although I did feel like the entire "showdown" and the crammed at the window watching was planned out and maybe even rehearsed-- or recreated.

I screamed that at the tv last night! Now two rents or mortgages, utilities, now he has to buy furniture, etc...Gina could have rented out her place and they could have rented a larger house together maybe, aren't they both in real estate, they could have made it happen.

Shannon and Alexis should both realize that Johnny J is a user but I guess since there is a dick involved the women just cannot think straight, are dicks that rare for women over 40 in the OC that they have to go nuts over the one they get or got?  Wait until they get even older and they realize that a man who can drive at night becomes the prize, lol!

Heather seems to be auditioning for a house flipping show. Terry's hair looks like he dyed it. And if you ask me, get the helipad, no house worth it's salt would be without one, they can put it behind the guest house, like why is it even a question, duh!

I loved how Gina dropped Sutton's name but I am trying to figure out why Sutton is friends with Gina, I do not see them having anything in common other than being on HW shows, I love Sutton, she can do no wrong.

Was Emily there? LOL.

Katie could be interesting, I do like the idea of her needling Fancy Pants a little bit, maybe she will eat Heather's bow.

Tamra might be nice-ish this season since now she has good money coming in and a house in Big Bear, she might feel a little more secure, who knows.

Gina was all puffed up to confront Shannon and then deflated as soon as Shannon apologized to her. IIRC, it was a proper apology too.  No "if I did something...". Just "I was wrong". 

Alexis has the maturity level of a junior high insecure adolescent. First, where did the "Shannon doesn't own the Quiet Woman". Where did that come from? Why even bring it up? She, at this point, knew JayJay for what a month? And she's already riding that hard for him? Weird. Her behavior is making me cringe. 

I did find the ladies crowding at the window amusing! Alexis with her "I'm the new and your the ex" tells me Alexis puts high value on having a man in her life. A man that none of the other women respect and think is a douche...loved Emily for that!

Tamra is going to make Shannon's DUI her story this year. She hates Shannon and always has. I hope Shannon truly, finally, understands that and doesn't give her any thoughts this season.

Shannon. I don't think she fully learned a lesson. I do think she's had some realization about her drinking. But she still doesn't fully understand the ramifications of her actions and choices. If she's going to drink, Uber needs to be her best friend.

Alexis is very much someone who needs to show off that she has "her man"....I think that is how she measures her self-esteem.

I remember several years ago, after she left RHOC and divorced Jim Bellino, she was a "guest" on Below Deck with her then fiance (wonder what happened to him??), who actually seemed like a nice enough guy.  She acted like a silly, giggling, giddy middle-school girl with her first boyfriend-climbing all over him, constantly kissing, grabbing and full on body contact, all for the cameras to capture.  She was pretty revolting, because it seemed like it was all for show and not genuine. 

I don't like Alexis - I find her vapid, not very intelligent, self-serving and very conceited*.  I also think that she deserves everything she gets with John Janssen, who is an asshole.

*I guess that could be said about ALL the housewives, except some may be better at concealing some of those traits!  🤣

I love Sophia for how she handled Tamara. Showed signs of someone who had some therapy on dealing with a narcissistic mother. She stated her boundaries firmly and didn’t elaborate, giving Tamara nothing to pick apart and exaggerate like she is a pro at doing. Also, the comforting hug Sophia gave her while she fake cried, was very world weary, like ok mom wants her hug cuz she’s on her victim bullshit again. Imagine if the cast reacted to her like that? She’d lose her mind!

Alexis with her ‘you’re the ex, and I’m the new’ was very telling. She really thinks she won some battle and came out the younger, hotter winner. Going to enjoy watching that relationship implode. 
 

I know we always say it, but Wow, these women are So skinny!! I admit I’m very jealous. I’ll never have a tight bod like that like, not even close lol

I think that Alexis was shocked that Shannon cared more about the money than the man. She wanted to fight over Johnny J (gross) and Shannon just did not care about that. I think Shannon does care about Alexis dating John, just not when  there is 300k on the line.

Shannon looks great, I will give that to her. Alexis doesn't look as great, I have never liked her and this episode didn't change my mind.

Gina I actually enjoyed and I really don't like her at all. I don't expect that to last.

Heather was fine, I love the house porn and I also like the new girl who looks like she is going to come in and put Heather on the back foot.

Good start, the ladies lining up at the window to watch the show is the high camp that I need from these shows. let's keep it fairly light and it will be a good season.

Four and a half years later, they would certainly need some other arrangement but as other have said, it makes no sense to pay for two homes. Which I think is why Travis is very clear without saying it that he knows Gina's argument is B.S. 

Gina always goes on and on about how well she and Matt co-parent. Which is pretty ironic considering that when she and Matt were together, she was basically a single mother, while Matt carried on his double life in another city. Sheesh. But I do think that if Matt wanted to reconcile she would be back with him in a New York minute. 

I found Alexis and Shannon's convo to be pretty funny. While declaring herself to be the winner of Johnny J (what a prize) Alexis showed that she is still the vapid, insecure person she has always been. This season should be entertaining for that reason alone.

Yes, that was the infamous "small and sad" house.

Does Shannon "doing all the work" include stockpiling alcohol and changing the plea to not guilty once the probation is over and done with? I wish Shannon wasn't such a phony asshole about the DUI because Alexis is coming in so thirsty and ridiculous that I can't root for anyone. I might actually... gulp... be Team Tamra. Also, I'm kind of shocked Alexis didn't earn herself an orange this year. Andy Cohen couldn't even contain himself in front of Shannon that he's so happy Alexis is back.

It seems like Gina is done with the relationship because she doesn't want to deal with Travis' ex anymore, but wants Travis to be the one to actually end things. I wonder if Travis and Matt can stand each other as much as she seems to think they do. Then again, she and Travis supposedly still together so who knows so maybe this decision is working out.

Some initial thoughts:

 

- Alexis has always sided with the man over the woman.  Remember season 6 where she basically blamed Peggy for not telling her that she had once dated Jim and didn't even think to also blame Jim.   This is a pattern with her.

- Gina... what does she have on the production company, Bravo, and Andy?  She hasn't earned her orange ever.

- Shannon needs help.. no doubt about it.   Although I do find it funny that Tamra bad mouths her during filming, during talking heads, and during interviews promoting the show. yet is upset that Shannon stops talking to her when filming is done and/or when someone is not on the show.   

- Tamra is obviously stupid and doesn't understand the concept of a   'work colleagues'.  Shannon views you as a co-worker.. someone she has to put up with while filming is in session.. but ignores once filming is over.   That's what normal people do... they don't become friends with their co workers... they do their jobs then go home when the workday is over.

Aghhhh......Shannon's conversation with her daughter's in the living room so reminds me of my own dear Mother.  After her devastating DUI, my sisters and I gathered around her, all as peers, and spouted off the greatest hits:  "everything happens for a reason" and "learn from this and move on".  OMG, I was dying.  This is so far from my reality I don't even know how to process it.  And I'm so happy about that.  Shannon's very lucky her daughter's appear to have turned out well despite her.  

The irony is not lost that no one appears to be wearing the same face with the exception of Heather!  Who could use a little nip and tuck to the neck if ya know what I'm saying.  

The weird thing about their faces though is sometimes they look really good and other times they look reallllyyyy bad.  I think it totally depends on the lighting, angle and make-up.

John Jansen brought out the worst in Shannon.  She should be delighted to be free of such a  douchebag.  He looks like he’s gotten uglier. She looks good and has nice daughters.  Now she has to work on her drinking problem. 
Alexis always acts like whatever man she is with is the greatest thing. She was on Below Deck once with her last fiancé in a bikini jumping on him like a kid would jump on their parent. It was disturbing. I don’t think  her and Johnny J will last.

Emily is annoying and that laughing about Archie was the laugh of an asshole.

Why is Heather fangirling Jesus Juggs? It's a little embarrassing and she seems remarkably short-sighted for her. It seems like she never advocates for anyone except for herself (and her family, when they're not inconveniencing her).

I still do not know why Tamra is on this show. I guess it could be worse and it could be Tamra AND Vicki. 🙄 (ugh, just saw the previews - why can't we get a break???)

Jesus Juggs really needs to get those roots done, or is that a thing now? Gina's hair is also pretty root-y on the underside, but there seems to be some highlights on top? I'm confused and shouldn't be confused by these women's hair. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
