And wouldn't it be easier to just answer the question?

As someone who has quite a few people on this site blocked, I know that I personally don't always see questions that are asked.  This may be the case with Tasya.

And replying to questions is not a requirement here.   We can all post as we see fit.  And as the mods allow.

We interact with those we choose.

It didn’t stop her from taking Evy after Joy already had one. But that timing was much closer and they already had Evangeline picked out. John’s Charlie is already much older. Unless they call him Chuck.

Jinger explained it on one of her Q&A videos, saying that they both (Jinger and Joy) had picked out the names and nicknames but had both kept them secret.  Then when Joy's Evie was born, she and Austin announced the name and nickname, and Jinger told her that they also had picked Evie for a nickname, but their name was Evie Jo (Joy's was Evie Mae).  Jinger was concerned about how they would feel, but Joy and Austin reassured her and said it was cute that the family would have an Evie Mae and an Evie Jo, especially since they actually have different first names (Evelyn and Evangline).

Yeah, I remember the explanation. I said before that Evangeline was always their name, and they were worried that Evy was already taken, but they had their name set. The births weren’t that far apart. Charlie is already a couple of years old I believe, so if they want to use his dad’s name, who cares? They live in California, so it won’t be like they’ll be mixing together all that much. I just think it’s funny that I don’t even know an Evy and there are two of them close together.

I like Sebastian Jeremy. Then they can call him Sebby J and he can be a Christian rapper.

They actually said that they were saying evangel-line at first and then realized it was evangel-leen. So I guess anything can happen!

I had no idea either.  I always assumed Evangeline was pronounced with the long "i" because that's how Caroline and Madeline are pronounced, although I must say I've heard people pronounce them as Carolyn and Madelyn even though they were spelled with the l-i-n-e.

I've heard Evangeline pronounced four different ways before! Eee-van-gel-line, Eee-van-gel-lin, Eh-van-gel-line, and Eh-van-gel-lin. It's kind of a tricky name, imo.

I am pretty sure they still live in the Philadelphia area. Even the phrasing on the recent posts about both grandmas in town sounds like they're not local to LA.

Thanks Zella.  I probably had them mixed up with Tiffany's parent.  Tiffany is married to Lawson Bates.  Her parents live around San Diego, I think, and got a place close to their daughter in TN.

So many good rap names. Archie Mac-Daddy for Jesus! Ohhh, I just remembered their hero – MacArthur.

Jinger had great difficulty with “Felicity” as well 😂😂😂.

Those who guessed Charles as his name are partially right. It's his middle name.  First name Finnegan.

I don't give partial credit.

I'm thinking Charles, after his dad. His brother isn't married and doesn't have kids at 40. Jeremy would have to had the courtesy to ask, but if Chuck Jr. said okay, I think they could go that route.

But if I did S.K. would get it. Jinger said Charles was from his family.

Wait, no biblical explanation for the name? They went into so much thought and detail about the girls’ names that I thought this name would have some deep theological meaning as well.

Finn is very cute. Finnegan Vuolo really mixes the nationalities, but that’s OK. Most of us have to do that if we have an ethnic sounding last name and don’t want to pair it with the same kind of first name.

Their house is absolutely gorgeous. I love the time period of it and the style. Jinger must’ve made a lot of money from her first book. I don’t know how the second one did, but she probably got a good advance because of how well the first one sold. That’s where the money came from.

I have no reason to believe that my parents looked up the origination or meaning of my name since it was changed at the last minute (I was supposed to be Sarah).  My first name is of Greek origin, my maiden name is Italian, and my married name is German.  I'm so worldly, and I haven't even left the US 😜

Jess and Ben live in a house that belongs to the church. Even though they did a complete redo, they still don’t own it.

By the time I came along, there was laziness with my name. I was either going to be named after both grandmothers or both grandfathers. So I got my mother‘s name, and my grandma‘s name, and two other cousins have the same name. It really needs to be retired, but one of the cousins named her daughter the same.

I think I said before we have a very ethnic last name (well, my husband‘s last name, think Ukrainian, and a hard one to spell). My first name isn’t that short, so I fill in almost all the boxes on forms. So I gave my kids short first names that are pretty American sounding. And now my grandkids have pretty simple first names too. I never had to grow up with that name, so I don’t know how hard it must be to always have to pronounce it as a kid. As it is, at doctor appointment nobody wants to pronounce it, they just called me by my first name. Ha.
