chenoa333 May 22, 2017 Share May 22, 2017 (edited) I don't think FP has done an episode yet on the Bill Board Music Awards so may I be the first to say something that I think most people are going to dislike: Celine Dion's dress was hideous. And she is way too skinny, flat chested and long in the face to be wearing a dress that accentuates all of those things. However, she can wear whatever she likes because her voice is the star of the show. Absolutely spectacular! And Cher..I'm speechless and in awe of everything about her. A legend, an icon and a superstar! Edited May 22, 2017 by chenoa333 Link to comment
HamSammich May 23, 2017 Share May 23, 2017 Unwatchable. Holy crap, what happened? I stumbled across this and couldn't believe how much it has changed since I last saw it. Melissa's face looks like you could bounce quarters off of it, useless Margaret has fallen into a vat of contouring highlighter and Rancid is bright orange with jutting bones! Wth! And NeNe? She's the worst. She showed up wearing her Palm tree pajamas and is such a try hard it was painful to watch. "This look gives me LIFE!" And "YAAAs" Please. Go away. All of them look and act like fools. After ten minutes, the only one I didn't loathe was Brad. 1 Link to comment
msrachelj May 23, 2017 Share May 23, 2017 Seriously , no one gave Cher a thumbs down? Is this like Oprah or Barbara Walters, no one can say a negative about them? Yes, she has been around a long time and her body is unbelievable for an elderly woman, plastic surgery or no. She could look beautiful in clothing, why go out there half naked in very unflattering costumes? No matter how much you try or do, 70 does not equal 30. 1 Link to comment
jcbrown May 23, 2017 Share May 23, 2017 (edited) I learned last night that the only thing worse than having NeNe shrieking on my TV is having NeNe shrieking on my TV while I have a migraine. I seriously had to fast forward every time she was on to keep her from melting my brain. And STOP talking over each other! This show has way too many hosts to be able to do anything other than let them each get their favorite quips in. I would also like to hear a knowledgeable discussion of the fashion occasionally. Without NeNe. Edited May 23, 2017 by jcbrown 1 Link to comment

Maya May 26, 2017 Share May 26, 2017 Melissa's bangs look much better. Someone needs to tell Guilianna less is more. I can't decide if Lea Michele bugged me or not. I always thought it was funny how much Joan hated her. Link to comment
jcbrown May 26, 2017 Share May 26, 2017 Guilianna reminds me of a praying mantis. All gangly bony limbs. I thought Lea Michele was a good addition, actually. Maybe she could replace NeNe. Link to comment

msrachelj September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 this show sucks since joan died. she was crude and nasty but that was here schtick . maybe it also has to do with being of a certain age ! i don't know who half these people they show and don't care to. i'll probably keep watching but i can do it in 10 minutes. bring back tim gunn. better still , he needs his own show on the lines of the old "what not to wear". 2 Link to comment
chitowngirl September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 And while Joan had her shtick, she had intelligent critiques. The games and guests were fine when they were on every week and had time to kill, but for awards specials, show us the clothes! I get all the looks by flipping through the slideshow on Yahoo. 2 Link to comment
Cowgirl September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 Why hasn't E! figured out that this show is too cast-heavy? Maybe everyone is still under contract until the end of the calendar year. The cast is so bloated in numbers, and then they bring on these insipid guests -- it's just too too much! It's been on my DVR since Monday and I can only watch it in 5-minute increments before I get disgusted. I don't know why I don't just delete it. 2 Link to comment
cpcathy September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 I agree, especially since they are now getting competition from Youtubers doing their critiques, and frankly, those aren't cast-heavy and you can tailor them to your needs, I found one after the Oscars where drag queens did the critiquing. Awesome! 1 Link to comment
Cowgirl September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 Oh my gosh that sounds awesome! I must find that ASAP! I never even thought to go to YouTube. Shows my age, I guess. Link to comment

cpcathy September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 Exactly! Logo seems only to be showing reruns of 70's sitcoms now, that would be a great addition. 1 Link to comment
Wings September 19, 2017 Share September 19, 2017 Nine minutes on Kidman's dress. NINE MINUTES! The have to pick up the pace so we can see more dresses. Trim the hosts. Melissa is looking terrible. Ugh 5 Link to comment
chitowngirl September 19, 2017 Share September 19, 2017 Agree that they spent too much time on Nicole, but that is how you do a deep V and not show your sternum! The show flowed so much better without Margaret. 3 Link to comment
seacliffsal September 20, 2017 Share September 20, 2017 Now if only they would show NeNe the door. She laughs at herself and takes the most time to utter a comment. And, along with others, show us more clothes! 4 Link to comment

Liberty September 22, 2017 Share September 22, 2017 The lack of activity on this forum is a sad testimony of how the show had fallen apart. 2 Link to comment
cpcathy September 22, 2017 Share September 22, 2017 Guys, I can't link it (I'm at work) but Youtuber Grace Helbig did eight minutes on the Emmy fashions. She did more outfits in eight minutes than FP do in an hour! She's pretty funny, so give her a try. 1 Link to comment
chitowngirl September 22, 2017 Share September 22, 2017 Just watched Grace Helbig. She showed most of the fashions, gave some snark, and I pretty much agreed with everything she said! All FP needs is Melissa, Guiliana, and Brad. Or a moderator, someone who was on the red carpet (I like to hear the differences between how an outfit looked in person vs over the tv), and a stylist. shksabelle September 23, 2017 Share September 23, 2017 Haven't watched in ages. But was interested in getting a take on Emmy looks. I lasted 10 minutes. Melissa is completely plastic. Giuliano looks like she was just released from a prison camp. The ghetto rat is insufferable, and I have no idea who that porn person is. 1 Link to comment

TVFan17 October 18, 2017 Share October 18, 2017 Well, I guess it is finally coming to an end in late November -- http://www.eonline.com/shows/fashion_police/news/887328/fashion-police-announces-series-finale-episode-with-never-before-seen-clips-of-joan-rivers I know that I am probably alone on my own little island in having this opinion, but I am sad to see it go. It sounds silly to say this, but I think there is a 'need' for a goofy, fun, fashion critique show like this -- especially with the award show season starting very soon (in early January). To my knowledge, the fashion recap shows on other channels have ended and never started up again, have they not? (TVGN-now-Pop used to do one, but that's been gone for a long time, right?) So there needs to be at least one show on one network that carries the torch and continues on. Do I think that Fashion Police is anywhere near as good as it could be, or the same as it was when Joan was alive? No. Of course not. But I was willing to ride it out and give Fashion Police a chance to find its footing again, even if it had to go through another 20 hosts before settling on the right group. I already assumed that NeNe would be out sooner or later, and I had a feeling that Giuliana would be gone soon too (she seemed like her heart was barely in it anymore). I also thought that Margaret was probably not in it for the long haul. But Brad and Melissa I figured would hang in there. So I wonder if it was the network itself that just decided to pull the plug, and not the actual cast. 4 Link to comment
useryikes October 21, 2017 Share October 21, 2017 I used to enjoy the show. It was too long, though. Was it not 1/2 hr. at first? And I really hated Joan, with her crap jokes that everyone laughed at and pretended to be shocked. I guess Melissa doesn't need the money anyway. 1 Link to comment
cpcathy October 21, 2017 Share October 21, 2017 I will not watch a tribute to Joan. She told some disgusting jokes, would spread her legs wide open on her chair, and called every slightly overweight black actress "Precious." 2 Link to comment
Former Nun October 22, 2017 Share October 22, 2017 I'm GLAD to see it gone--it lasted much longer than it deserved. I wish I had written the letter to E! I've been bitching about for a couple of years. This program was about showcasing the "judges'" hilarious (not) and witty (ugh) comments. There was more time spent on slutty banter/"jokes" and posing than on the actual fashions. There is definitely a place on television to feature fashions from the various red carpet events...and the Met Gala, etc. Hire no-nonsense people with a comprehensive background in and love of fashion (not Giuliana) who aren't desperate for television fame and create something great. Show us the good, the bad, the new, the tired...and let us know why (briefly). No jokes. No canned laughter. No audience. No famewhores. Just good fashion. It's out there! 5 Link to comment

Not a good fit for this type of show. Melissa tried to carry on, but her talent apparently lies elsewhere. A "who wore it better" segment of any new show would be fun. 2 Link to comment

I liked Joan's stand up and she was phenomenal on Celeb Apprentice. But an off color joke for every single dress, ugh. It was forced. Anyway YAY! This leaves room for someone else to create a fashion review show. I hope that happens. No script! Just spontaneous banter with no more than 3 people. Keep it moving and cover more fashion. I did love the Starlet or Street Walker game. 3 Link to comment

Caseysgirl November 28, 2017 Share November 28, 2017 Well that's that. I agree with above posters who felt it was on way too long and was more a showcase for Joan ( and to some degree the other panelists) and it was often very mean. Melissa really has had way too much work done - she looks as old as her mother did when the show began and she can't be much over 50. One brief mention of Kathy Griffin, I can't remember, did she leave on bad terms, too? Nene added nothing to the mix, as far as I am concerned. Highly overrated show. 3 Link to comment
Wings November 28, 2017 Share November 28, 2017 I enjoyed that. It was poignant for me because I have loved Joan for decades even though she wore thin for me on this show. I wish there had been more of her and less of the others. Melissa is not looking good. Even her hair with the clip on bangs. She would look good with real bangs, she needs them actually. I wonder what happened with Kelly. She did not leave on good terms. I have always liked her. 2 Link to comment
jcbrown November 28, 2017 Share November 28, 2017 For me, this finale just emphasized how much better the show was with Joan, Kelly, and George than it was when Margaret , Melissa, and (god forbid) NeNe took over. 2 Link to comment

msrachelj November 29, 2017 Share November 29, 2017 has anyone read the new book melissa put out about joan, mostly her career? (the woman was a rich hoarder, didn't throw a paper away!) my god, the girl is obsessed with her mother. a memoir is one thing but .... i could not even read that thing. skimmed it and sent back to the library. as much as i tried to understand the comedian thing, nothing is off limits. she really was mean a lot of the time. 2 Link to comment
cpcathy November 29, 2017 Share November 29, 2017 I recorded the show but I'm putting off watching it because of Joan. She was really horrible sometimes and I just didn't think it was funny, and I tend to laugh at a LOT of raunchy humor. 3 Link to comment
