I don't think FP has done an episode yet on the Bill Board Music Awards so may I be the first to say something that I think most people are going to dislike: Celine Dion's dress was hideous. And she is way too skinny, flat chested and long in the face to be wearing a dress that accentuates all of those things. However, she can wear whatever she likes because her voice is the star of the show. Absolutely spectacular!

And Cher..I'm speechless and in awe of everything about her. A legend, an icon and a superstar!

Unwatchable. Holy crap, what happened? I stumbled across this and couldn't believe how much it has changed since I last saw it. Melissa's face looks like you could bounce quarters off of it, useless Margaret has fallen into a vat of contouring highlighter and Rancid is bright orange with jutting bones! Wth! And NeNe? She's the worst. She showed up wearing her Palm tree pajamas and is such a try hard it was painful to watch. "This look gives me LIFE!" And "YAAAs" Please. Go away. All of them look and act like fools. After ten minutes, the only one I didn't loathe was Brad.

Seriously , no one gave Cher a thumbs down?  Is this like Oprah or Barbara Walters, no one can say a negative about them? Yes, she has been around a long time and her body is unbelievable for an elderly woman, plastic surgery or no. She could look beautiful in clothing, why go out there half naked in very unflattering costumes? No matter how much you try or do, 70 does not equal 30.

I learned last night that the only thing worse than having NeNe shrieking on my TV is having NeNe shrieking on my TV while I have a migraine. I seriously had to fast forward every time she was on to keep her from melting my brain. And STOP talking over each other! This show has way too many hosts to be able to do anything other than let them each get their favorite quips in. I would also like to hear a knowledgeable discussion of the fashion occasionally. Without NeNe.

this show sucks since joan died. she was crude and nasty  but that was here schtick . maybe it also has to do with being of a certain age ! i don't know who half these people they show and don't care to. i'll probably keep watching but i can do it in 10 minutes. bring back tim gunn. better still , he needs his own show on the lines of the old "what not to wear".

Why hasn't E! figured out that this show is too cast-heavy?  Maybe everyone is still under contract until the end of the calendar year.  The cast is so bloated in numbers, and then they bring on these insipid guests -- it's just too too much! It's been on my DVR since Monday and I can only watch it in 5-minute increments before I get disgusted.  I don't know why I don't just delete it.

Just watched Grace Helbig. She showed most of the fashions, gave some snark, and I pretty much agreed with everything she said! All FP needs is Melissa, Guiliana, and Brad.  Or a moderator, someone who was on the red carpet (I like to hear the differences between how an outfit looked in person vs over the tv), and  a stylist.

I agree, especially since they are now getting competition from Youtubers doing their critiques, and frankly, those aren't cast-heavy and you can tailor them to your needs, I found one after the Oscars where drag queens did the critiquing. Awesome!

Could you post the link of the drag queens YouTube fashion critiques? I did a general search for drag queens fashion award show critiques and all I got was way too much RuPaul.

Thanks in advance CPCATHY! (yes, I'm lazy! Lol)

Well, I guess it is finally coming to an end in late November -- http://www.eonline.com/shows/fashion_police/news/887328/fashion-police-announces-series-finale-episode-with-never-before-seen-clips-of-joan-rivers

I
know that I am probably alone on my own little island in having this opinion, but I am sad to see it go.   It sounds silly to say this, but I think there is a 'need' for a goofy, fun, fashion critique show like this -- especially with the award show season starting very soon (in early January).   To my knowledge, the fashion recap shows on other channels have ended and never started up again, have they not?   (TVGN-now-Pop used to do one, but that's been gone for a long time, right?)    So there needs to be at least one show on one network that carries the torch and continues on.

Do I think that Fashion Police is anywhere near as good as it could be, or the same as it was when Joan was alive?  No.   Of course not.   But I was willing to ride it out and give Fashion Police a chance to find its footing again, even if it had to go through another 20 hosts before settling on the right group.  I already assumed that NeNe would be out sooner or later, and I had a feeling that Giuliana would be gone soon too (she seemed like her heart was barely in it anymore).  I also thought that Margaret was probably not in it for the long haul.  But Brad and Melissa I figured would hang in there.  So I wonder if it was the network itself that just decided to pull the plug, and not the actual cast.

I'm GLAD to see it gone--it lasted much longer than it deserved.  I wish I had written the letter to E! I've been bitching about for a couple of years.   This program was about showcasing the "judges'" hilarious (not) and witty (ugh) comments.   There was more time spent on slutty banter/"jokes" and posing than on the actual fashions.  There is definitely a place on television to feature fashions from the various red carpet events...and the Met Gala, etc.   Hire no-nonsense people with a comprehensive background in and love of fashion (not Giuliana) who aren't desperate for television fame and create something great.  Show us the good, the bad, the new, the tired...and let us know why (briefly).  No jokes.  No canned laughter.  No audience.  No famewhores. Just good fashion.  It's out there!

I blame Joan.  I enjoy fashion, but not the way this show was done.

I agree on Joan.  Joan was okay in small doses on talk shows--quick banter with professionals,  and (most likely) in the many/various stages for stand-up, but her comedy was basically very mean.  Not a good fit for this type of show.  Melissa tried to carry on, but her talent apparently lies elsewhere.   A "who wore it better" segment of any new show would be fun.

I liked Joan's stand up and she was phenomenal on Celeb Apprentice.   But an off color joke for every single dress, ugh.  It was forced.

Anyway YAY!  This leaves room for someone else to create a fashion review show.  I hope that happens.  No script!  Just spontaneous banter with no more than 3 people.  Keep it moving and cover more fashion.

I did love the Starlet or Street Walker game.

And NO JOKES!  And no "accidental" raunch.  It's juvenile.  I like your "spontaneous banter" idea, but the people need to know their subjects--no ringers.

Agreed.  Now I hope that some producer(s) can get a show like this together and find a network to host it prior to January 7th which is the date of the 2018 Golden Globes kicking off Awards' Season!

tim gunn! i wish he would have a fashion/lifestyle talk show.

Well that's that. I agree with above posters who felt it was on way too long and was more a showcase for Joan ( and to some degree the other panelists) and it was often very mean.  Melissa really has had way too much work done - she looks as old as her mother did when the show began and she can't be much over 50.  One brief mention of Kathy Griffin, I can't remember, did she leave on bad terms, too?   Nene added nothing to the mix, as far as I am concerned.  Highly overrated show.

I enjoyed that.  It was poignant for me because I have loved Joan for decades even though she wore thin for me on this show. I wish there had been more of her and less of the others.

Melissa is not looking good.  Even her hair with the clip on bangs.  She would look good with real bangs, she needs them actually.

I wonder what happened with Kelly. She did not leave on good terms.  I have always liked her.

For me, this finale just emphasized how much better the show was with Joan, Kelly, and George than it was when Margaret , Melissa, and (god forbid) NeNe took over.

I agree.  I don't think they would have been cancelled if Melissa had gone with a different format rather than trying to carry on in the same way without Joan.  E! will get another fashion show going before award season next year with a new cast.  There is a need for it.

has anyone read the new book melissa put out about joan, mostly her career? (the woman was a rich hoarder, didn't throw a paper away!)

my god, the girl is obsessed with her mother. a memoir is one thing but .... i could not even read that thing. skimmed it and sent back to the library.

as much as i tried to understand the comedian thing, nothing is off limits. she really was mean a lot of the time.
