Jodie Foster wins supporting actress, but her dog doesn't seem impressed.  Must have been a Glenn Close fan.

Had Olivia Colman for this one and most of the critics had Glen Close. Jodie's surprise is genuine because I don't think anyone was predicting her for this.

Poor Normal People. The Queen's Gambit came and completely stole its thunder. Pre-Queen's Gambit, they were a lock for this category based on all the hype and buzz last summer.

YAY!  The Queen's Gambit was my favorite show I've streamed during the last pandemic year - so glad to see the love it's getting.

I know that these live shows are doing their best, or trying to do their best but this seems so disjointed?  I am not sure if that's the word I'm looking for.  Tech difficulties aside it still seems so under directed or planned.
