I like Kristina Kelly on the show.  She has such an honest down to earth vibe.  I wouldn’t mind seeing more of her.  I looked up her Instagram and she is the founder of a natural skincare brand named Heart Spring.  She is also pregnant and seems to be due soon.  Good for her!  Charlie take your nasty comments and go back to wherever you came from.

This is the strange thing about these reality shows when people are forced to be “friends” with castmates that you know they would never cross paths with in real life. It’s like Saved By the Bell: The New Class up In SUR.

Sandoval wearing that lightning bolt necklace, as he does every day. Wait, is James wearing a lightning bolt necklace?!? Oh, I think it’s just a cross with a really long vertical bar and a barely discernible horizontal bar. But, man, that would be an interesting twist to the secret love necklaces! Lol. Did Rachel get involved in a polyamorous relationship with Sandoval just to get James back?! Lol!!

Raquel calling out Lala for sleeping with her man 6 years ago and Lala turns it back to last week with Schwartz. I could light your ass on fire for what you’ve done.” She says but I didn’t make out with him. Lala lays down the truth, “stop taking credit for not making out with Schwartz! Schwartz didn’t make out with you. It didn’t happen not because you were a stand-up chick, it happened because Schwartz denied you.” Rachel calls Lala a mistress, and Lala is upset that she had to pay for Randall cheating. The older ladies scurry, and Charli laughs and squeals about how awesome that was. See, I knew this youngster wasn’t friends with these people!

It just came out today that this boys’ night is supposedly when things started heating up between Rachel and Sandoval, as far as the people around them can guess. A friend noticed the two of them off talking by themselves and acting a little cozy. Rachel admitted to another friend that they started getting close after this night. More details/link posted in the media thread.

Andy Cohen claimed that they did NOT re-edit anything, and that this is the episode as pulled together before Scandoval broke. Wow. How did they continue to give this girl that much leeway when they knew to hide their boyfriends?!? I think we’re overdue for a “bed intruder song” remix!

So - when did they go on this Havasu girls' trip?  Raquel was definitely sporting some kind of bruising or something under her eye, so I'm thinking this whole current thing about Scheana may be some bullshit.

As @Jel mentions upthread - this was an interesting episode to watch, not knowing who to cheer for - Raquel or LaLa.

If we didn't know what we now know, I would have been rooting for Raquel, because she was putting LaLa in her place.  LaLa is definitely not one to be calling out other women for anything shady regarding men, because she has done it ALL!!!  LaLa annoys the hell out of me because she is now some holier-than-thou hypocrite.  She's now sober and she's a Mom (two good things), but she's also a sanctimonious bitch.  LaLa did sleep with James when he was dating Raquel, she also was sleeping with/living with Randall while he was still married.  So, yes, she was his mistress.  No denying that, and no matter how it triggers you, it's the truth.  LaLa also was a paid escort model who traveled around to party with rich guys (presumably married) on their yachts and admitted to "giving bj's for pj's" when she first started on the show.  

I would have been watching this episode much differently if I was not aware of current events.

Also, I like Kristina and Charli can just go back to the Hamptons or wherever she was.  As my grandmother used to say - she's a nasty piece of goods.

LaLa accused Raquchel of being "sloppy and untrustworthy". Oh, really, LaLa?

After returning to their room, the girls wonder if Raquchel made out with Oliver at Discopussy. You guys were watching them! Insightful, but you're divorcing the man who she asked to make out with and LaLa passed Oliver over to Raquchel. Raquchel staggers in and calls out LaLa, only to be cruelly mocked after she leaves to cries herself to sleep. The next morning, Raquchel confesses that she said some bad things during her brownout but LaLa acts like a pharisee. 

Meanwhile, Schemer has arranged for Schwartz to play the home version of What Not To Wear. Of course, she lets it slip that Katie is having a divorce party and offers to throw one for him.

While the girls drive to Lake Havasu, Raquchel talks about how DJ Muppet Baby was verbally abusive towards her (didn't someone speculate about that?) and the last straw was when he yelled at her family at Thanksgiving. I thought he quit doing that once he sobered up... or did he?

I was amused by Bravo's commercial supporting woman which featured some really bad examples from their shows.

I keep forgetting to mention that I hate the rainbow smear flare effect they use in the transition scenes.

The girls arrive at Lake Havasu at a house for a much larger crowd. I guess they needed extra room for the cameramen and crew.

Back at S&S, the Toms have yet another menu testing party.  Holy crap! The Toms discuss beneficent businesswoman Lisa Vanderbuck's offer to pay back their initial investment into TomTom. Scandoval says something sensible for once, that if they take the money and S&S flops, they'll have nothing. Does Scwartz really use a magic eightball for big decisions?

Charli, who we learn hasn't worked at a Vanderbucks business for awhile (Hmm), joins the party and spontaneously without any prompting asks about Oliver. Lala once again denies giving him up for Raquchel at Discopussy. They get into a fight and LaLa refuses to stop rehashing this Oliver nonsense I keep forgetting about and tells Raquchel to "get over it", conveniently forgetting all the bad shit she's done. LaLa and Katie and Kristina need to shut up and quit being bitches. I now am wondering how they filmed Raquchel eavesdropping on them in Vegas without being noticed? Once again, LaLa denies this has anything to do with Oliver. Yeah, right. Charli and Raquchel leave the next morning to join Shwartz's party. As soon as they're out of line of sight, they resume bad-mouthing Raquchel.

Scandoval, Arianna, Schwartz, Greg, and employees have another menu tasting. Hey, there's Scandoval's bolt necklace! This place is never going to open! Scandalvol bad-mouths Greg in an interview. After they finish tasting the menu items, they eagerly scamper off for boys night. 

Back in Lake Havasu, the gals go to a country dive bar with gross clientele, where LaLa immediately demonstrates her bad taste in men. Is Lake Havasu a dump? I think Vicky from RHoOC had a summer home here and had a football hit her on the head once. I got the impression it's full of drunk rednecks, and not the fun kind.

We would feel sorry for Raquel about the nasty comments of the mean girls if we didn't know the background of the story- the women already suspected she was going after the men in their group.

I'm awful,  I felt a little bit of glee, when Rachel  handed back that line to Lauren. Lala is the last person to talk about relationships. Why did she have to go over to the guys at the end, she had to prove she still has it, they walked  right by her, just like Oliver. She's jealous of Rachel.  Note,  she had to call James and tell him everything.

I think she's having anxiety over her secret relationship with Sandoval.  She's feeling guilty and it is stressful to keep something under wraps for so long.  Especially when you're allegedly good friends with your lover's girlfriend.  It takes a toll having to act a certain way to certain people, making sure you don't slip up and mention what you did with whom because you know you're not supposed to be doing it.  Guilt written all over her face.  

I really can't stand Lala.  She tries so hard to be a bad ass, but just comes across as a complete bitch.

Regardless of anything shady and crappy that Raquel did, this was some mean-girl, relational-aggression garbage on the parts of the other girls and it says much more about them and their stunted junior-high brains than it does about Raquel, IMO.

Forgot to mention Rachel lying about how drunk she was. She told the ladies she didn't remember their conversation and what she'd said about man stealing. Yet in an interview she acknowledged eavesdropping and hearing them talking about it after. She used it as rationale for why she doesn't consider them friends (and likely why she had no issue getting with Ariana's boyfriend, even though Ariana wasn't even there). 

Also, Sandoval already knew Raquel (& Charli) had left Lake Havasu so it's obvious they were already talking/texting at that point.  Watching his facial expressions whenever her name was mentioned is interesting.

As @Jel mentions upthread - this was an interesting episode to watch, not knowing who to cheer for - Raquel or LaLa.

If we didn't know what we now know, I would have been rooting for Raquel, because she was putting LaLa in her place.  LaLa is definitely not one to be calling out other women for anything shady regarding men, because she has done it ALL!!!  LaLa annoys the hell out of me because she is now some holier-than-thou hypocrite.  She's now sober and she's a Mom (two good things), but she's also a sanctimonious bitch.  LaLa did sleep with James when he was dating Raquel, she also was sleeping with/living with Randall while he was still married.  So, yes, she was his mistress.  No denying that, and no matter how it triggers you, it's the truth.  LaLa also was a paid escort model who traveled around to party with rich guys (presumably married) on their yachts and admitted to "giving bj's for pj's" when she first started on the show.  

I would have been watching this episode much differently if I was not aware of current events.

Also, I like Kristina and Charli can just go back to the Hamptons or wherever she was.  As my grandmother used to say - she's a nasty piece of goods.

 

I can’t stomach Lala anymore.  She’s an egotistical bitch who thinks she’s the star of the show and the star of life in general.  One of the most important things that AA teaches us is humility, but I see zero humility in Lauren.  Also, I had forgotten how pretty she was when she first came on the show.  She should’ve left her face alone.

ETA:  Lala is the last person who should point a finger at anyone’s behavior considering the fact that SHE was fucking a married man.  She’s got some nerve, I’ll give her that.

I noted that too. Also that he was the first to hug her when she and her friend "surprised" them at the boys night. 

I do think it's interesting that Raquel was actually a "heroine" edit this season. Boohoo, everyone's mean to me. Look at poor innocent me, who is just too naive to be doing any of this deliberately. It's only because we know what we know that we're seeing so much more than what she (and the editors at the time) were intending.

I would love to get the camera folk and editors drunk or under a truth serum to see if they actually did know before anyone else? Or had an inkling? Some of the confessionals seem very pointed and since we know the producers/cast film many of those much later? I'm wondering if there were suspicions by the editors/producers, thus the direction they took the story.

Yes - I don't think she was so drunk she couldn't remember.  Saying she was THAT drunk was double-edged - an excuse for her earlier behavior with Oliver & her later insult to Lala.  But I have to say, perching on the bed with food in hand & expecting that coven of witches to be cordial to her is a staggering misunderstanding of what these folks are about - which is petty, backstabbing & totally phony when trying to show concern for her.  And conversely, they totally misjudged her ability to act without any regard whatsoever for any of them.

It was noticeable (now that we're looking for such things) how wide & excited Sandoval eyes got when she approached their table on boys night.  She wasn't framed in that scene, but was earlier shown entering the venue & walking towards them.  The delight on his face (at something) was apparent.  Now we know WHY.

Andy said on one of the WWHLs that this episode was not changed from what was originally intended to be aired.  But it ran over 1 hour in my area (1 hour & 15 minutes?) -- NOT the typical 1 hour episode.  I suspect the producers added minutes - whether to show more of the genesis of Rachel's Lake Havasu exit (made oh-so-convenient with Charli's arrival) or to move up the boys night arrival of Raquel & Sandoval's delighted face.  Andy probably lied that the episode was unchanged in light of the scandal.

He also said it would be very revealing. (But not in what way.) That's true given Sandoval's expressions when Raquel & Charli crashed the boys night that probably took place last Sept. given that the Oliver make-out session was revealed in early September.  If so, Ariana's at home grieving her dog's death & Sandoval is making the most of it by meeting up with Rachel & using the boys night as a convenient cover.  SCUM!!
