Cheyanne11 November 5, 2022 Share November 5, 2022 (edited) OK, I’m only 5 minutes in and already cringing. I’m sure there’s a legal reason he couldn’t mention working at Hilton & Hyland, but Mauricio made it sound like he and Kyle got their real estate licenses and immediately opened The Agency. Farrah’s only 32, but she already looked botoxed beyond belief. Edited November 5, 2022 by Cheyanne11 4 5 Link to comment
NeenerNeener November 5, 2022 Share November 5, 2022 (edited) I'm having a hard time with these folks. I'm not finding any of them very watchable, and there's not enough actual real estate porn. I hope it finds a groove soon, because right now I'd rather watch that all-female office in Florida, or Christine Quinn fight with the Oppenheim folks. So, is Melissa trying to be the next sh*t-stirring Christine Quinn? She's not the "Chrishelle". Farrah seems to be the "Mary" for this show. OK, in episode 8 we get some decent real estate porn....that 100+ million dollar house...wow! Edited November 6, 2022 by NeenerNeener 1 1 Link to comment
hottesthw November 6, 2022 Share November 6, 2022 Well as a viewer of RHOBH, I can understand why Mo is high all the time now. I still like him. I wish the show focused more on his actual deals. Farrah is a real stick-in-the-mud isn’t she? Lighten up girl. Trying so hard to look like a Kardashian is not becoming. She’s a cute girl, why try to morph into someone else? And why so much work done already? I’m now convinced that the “alien head” shape is a plastic surgery thing and not just what that poor unattractive Giulianna was born with. Farrah has a bit of desperation about her just like her mom. A shame because she is pretty and seems quite smart. I was hoping for more house porn and business stuff and less high school boy drama with this show. Alexia, geesh…far surpassed her mother in the annoyance level. I’m hoping the immature air-headedness is an act. Because if not she will always just be known as someone getting ahead due to her name and nothing else. And not that there’s anything wrong with that, but at that level, you gotta perform and deliver a bit too. Not sit back giggling and twirling you hair while complaining about noone taking you seriously. I like the men they’ve shown so far. Hard workers but not dickheads like the other shows. And I like them showing the one older guy actually teaching and mentoring the younger ones on his team. The one guy needs to get over himself though, there are lots of folks not benefiting by being the bosses daughter, not just him. Work hard and prove yourself and stop whining. I’m in for this one for now. Guess they’ll make S2 all about the wedding (boring). But maybe we will get to see more houses and wheeling and dealing too (crossing fingers). Curious to see other agents too. I’m guessing the Brits from MDLLA can’t be on this show and the other? 1 1 1 Link to comment

realityplease November 6, 2022 Share November 6, 2022 (edited) Admit that I haven't seen the show. Does it mention that Mauricio's father Eduardo (variously described as an architect &/or a real estate developer) co-founded The Agency with Mauricio? Any mention of Mauricio's sister - also a real estate agent? Various articles disappear off the internet & re-appear re-written with a new PR spin (thus my confusion whether Eduardo is an architect or r.e. developer or both or none.) They describe Mauricio going into real estate due to his father's influence - not on a whim. This, after Mauricio married Kyle & failed at T-shirt merchandising. Then, Kyle's brother-in-law Rick Hilton, with a famous name, contacts, expertise, & his own agency, took on Mauricio as an agent. Kyle's first husband gave Mauricio his first high-end sale. Mauricio toiled for the next few decades in relative obscurity until RHoBH gave him a spotlight. None of this mentioned? I recall RHoBH showed Farrah (or Alexia?) trying to find a rental for an obnoxiously demanding daughter of Rinna. Maybe a phony storyline for airtime or maybe Farrah/Alexia did start with leases (hey, you gotta crawl before you can walk), but was their learning curve mentioned? Or are they all now professing to be fully evolved, knowledgeable, high end luxury real estate agents with years of experience selling multi-million dollar properties? Not bad, but not interested in the young agent dramas. Did find the family stuff interesting with Mo and the girls. Seems Farrah is good at her job and works hard, but Alexia is less dedicated and more entitled - hard to say how much of that is real and how much is storyline. He seemed pretty forthcoming (as much as he could be) regarding how the Agency came to be. It’s obvious watching the other show, no one’s gonna mention that other family’s name without full and proper legal permission. So that’s on them if Mo doesn’t give them credit for things on his new show, not him. They also allude to the girls starting out with lower ended properties before getting the big numbers. Alexia herself admitted she had zero sales under her name because she was only involved on her dad and sisters deal from the sidelines. Again, nothing blatantly showing favoritism or the girls getting big listings they don’t deserve. And besides, Rick Hilton didn’t wake up one morning with Kathy and decide to start the Hilton Hotels chain. That was handed down to him (with shone shady history to boot), from his father. I’m sure he didn’t come out of the womb wheeling and dealing. He got a break somewhere. No one should fault any parent for helping to set their kids up for success. Mo seems to be setting up a lot of his agents to do well, just as someone did for him at some point. For the Hiltons to be mad over this show is just sour grapes and not a good look for them. Because yea, Paris Hilton is really in high demand as a DJ because of what, her pretty face? Riiiiiight. 2 3 Link to comment

I don’t think he was asked to give full description of his business plan and copies of his financials when they started filming so no, he didn’t specially give everyone a shout out-just mentioning it being a family business with multiple generations involved. I guess if Dad and sis want more recognition they should apply to be on the show. And no, the girls are not “pretending” to be high end agents without earning it. Quite the opposite actually. But again, they didn’t really elaborate into every deal their dad may have helped them with along the way. 1 Link to comment
pasdetrois November 7, 2022 Share November 7, 2022 According to various books/reports, Rick H. was not handed a business. The reporting claims that he was given a small amount of funding (inheritance? gift?) and of course he had the Hilton name. I loathe the Hiltons, but it must be said that Paris makes a fortune as a DJ. When she first began to find success, I read a lengthy magazine or newspaper story explaining that her parents were not as wealthy as everyone assumed - in fact were struggling - and that Paris was supporting her family. Also, I can never ignore the fact that Rick and Kathy helped broker Paris' sex tape. Instead of guiding her in a different direction, they supported that sleazy escapade. And I believe took a fee. Mauricio originally struck me as very well-mannered and charming, which goes a long way for a realtor's success. But the greedy deal that got him in trouble, his lashing out at Kim in the long-ago limo ride, and now his endless appearances as a stoned idiot, have caused me to revise my opinion. I won't be watching him and his vapid, entitled daughters. 1 1 Link to comment
Any day now November 7, 2022 Share November 7, 2022 I like Farrah. She’s always been more serious which is actually kind of refreshing amongst all the screeching drama that encompasses so many of these shows. I like Mo but.. no one gets to be number one of anything without being shrewd and cut throat to some extent. Especially in real estate. Especially in BH. It’ll be interesting to see if his nice guy image holds up… I completely agree with Melissa’s question to Alexia: are you sure you even want to be in real estate? I mean – come on – you’re selling your childhood home and you don’t even know what year it was built? You don’t know what kind of countertops are in the kitchen? These are very basic things. Anyone buying a $6 million house is going to want to know that and so much more. She is not polished at all. She needs to gain a lot of confidence, stop playing with her hair, and stop whining about any constructive criticism she may receive. That’s what real estate and selling is all about. 4 1 Link to comment
chabelisaywow November 7, 2022 Share November 7, 2022 (edited) I read Kyle didn’t want her girls on this show. I don’t know if it was because she wouldn’t be able to benefit or that they would be exposed. Alexia is a thin skinned dimwit. Farrah was Mauricio’s daughter until she questioned how fairly the commissions were split. I’m vaguely familiar with RHOBH - but I don’t know if adding the next daughter is supposed to be a spoiler if Mauricio is going to “be in daddy mode” when it comes to his daughters. I was cringing at how Alexia came off trying to describe her childhood home. How does the “Agency” even work? The big hitter Jon and his partner Adam seem to have their own firm. Well binging satisfied something to do on a cold rainy day. Adding: Man, Mauricio is in everyone's pocket. His employees are fighting for time with him and he has the nerve to tell Farrah that she can't be CEO without managing people. Basically he told her "do what you need to do, but the cost isn't coming from my cut." What an ass. Joey has already left. Even though Ben guy's personality rubs - I hope he does too. There is no advantage being tied to Mauricio. Mauricio wants to reap the benefits without putting in the work. I'm finishing up episode 8 and while Farrah is objectively beautiful and seems very competent at her work, she has not shown a single ounce of personality. I'm wondering if there is more to her that we are not seeing. She clearly has friends and a fiance but I just don't get her appeal. Alexia, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh air and oozes charisma. I think she'll be fine working at The Agency once she gets her confidence down. 1 1 1 Link to comment

nexxie November 9, 2022 Share November 9, 2022 My guess is Mo steered all the way clear of mentioning his experience with the Hiltons - almost anything he said could be fodder for a lawsuit. Kathy’s bent-out-of-shape behavior when she felt dissed by a club manager in Aspen was a good clue to the Hilton level of entitlement. 1 1 Link to comment
ww92 November 9, 2022 Share November 9, 2022 I've only watched the first two episodes and have decided that all of the Umansky family realtors are irritating. I think Mo is smart and knows his stuff when it comes to real estate but he gives off a very fake, snotty vibe. Farrah seems very smart but she has no personality whatsoever. She perpetually looks like she just sucked lemons and all of the Botox, etc. aren't doing her any favors. I wouldn't be surprised if she goes out on her own and opens her own agency (a la what Mo did to Rick Hilton). I don't think Alexia was interested in real estate but I guess the thought of having to get a real job where Daddy isn't the boss was just as overwhelming to her as is the thought of her having to do her own laundry and pay her own bills. She's 25 and driving a Porsche FFS, do we really think she bought that with her own money? I have a feeling she spends more time deciding what to wear every day than she does studying the facts about her listings or shadowing other agents (not ones she's related to or has made out with) to see how they manage listings, showings, etc. How long before Sophia and Portia join the family firm? Why bother sending them to college anyway if they're never going to get a job on their own? 2 2 Link to comment
Tess23 November 10, 2022 Share November 10, 2022 I'm on episode 7 and enjoying it. The first couple eps, it has to be said, were tough sledding, but it got better after that. It's fun seeing what Mo, Farrah, and Alexia do on a daily basis. One thing that makes me giggle is how the cheek kisses post Covid have been replaced with full on, wrap your arms around each other bear hugs. I didn't have that much full on body contact with my boyfriend, now husband, like that until our third date. I kid I kid. Farrah is gorgeous but looks like she's in her early 40s at best. Back away from the Botox and fillers, I beg of you. I would have thought we'd see a tiny bit of Kyle. 1 Link to comment
ww92 November 13, 2022 Share November 13, 2022 I finished the series and surprised myself by even doing that. I unintentionally got sucked in LOL. I kept thinking Alexia would do great as a house stager/marketer and funny enough when you look at her bio on The Agency website it says: Alexia represents buyers and sellers and serves as the Marketing Specialist for the award-winning Umansky Team—a dynamic group of agents that includes Mauricio, Farrah Brittany and Eduardo Umansky. Alexia taps into her wide-reaching social media knowledge and degree in Marketing Communication from Emerson University to provide clients with focused, future-facing campaigns and messaging that help every property stand out. Mauricio is even scuzzier than I thought. Not only does he screw over regular agents when it comes to commissions, he screws over his own daughters. He rewards those who bring in leads but not the ones who actually close deals. What good does it do you to have people bringing in lead after lead if there isn't anyone to do that actual work of getting sales closed? If I worked at the Agency I wouldn't say anything to anyone beyond Good Morning. My God, none of them can keep their mouths shut. The whole thing with Melissa IMO wasn't the grade, it was the fact that she told Alexia's peers about it. Very unprofessional. Say it to Alexia, say it to Alexia's supervisor (I'm not even sure who that is) but don't say it to Alexia's co-workers. I haven't figured out yet if all of the tattling was for the show or if that's normal at the firm. Spoiler alert, Sophia showing up at the end? I just looked and as of today she's not a licensed real estate agent in CA so I don't think she's joining The Agency just yet. 1 Link to comment
SassyCat November 13, 2022 Share November 13, 2022 (edited) I wasn’t going to, but I was curious and watched 2 episodes. Thats all I could stomach. Its a show revolving around spoiled Alexia, having to deal with FAIR constructive criticism of her poor skills and performance as a realtor showing houses. I see she blames others for what they say about her poor skills, instead of actually doing the needed work to better her skills. Shes just like her mother in blaming others for what they said about her, the honest opinions, instead of admitting she sucked at knowing the facts people want to know about a house she wants to sell them. Its all their fault for making her feel bad that she didn’t know the basic facts. It’s everyone elses fault, for noticing it. Not hers for failing at the simplest of basic knowledge. They made HER feel bad and thats what she gets out of it. So very Kyle. She is blamed for everything! Whah whah. 😭😭 With The very house she grew up in she should at the very least have the year it was built, memorized. Its obvious she did not do her homework AT ALL and thinks she can just wing it while making the workplace a social scene for talking about boys and compliments about fashion and expect to soon be paid the big bucks for showing up to fiddle twirl her hair a lot. If I were a realtor, I would be fascinated with all the beautiful architecture, new and old world style and be studying up on every aspect of it because its so damn interesting and beautiful (in some cases) and I’d have all the info right in my brain ready to go if asked. Though more so, be able to rattle it off while wandering through each room, while showing, and not needing to be asked. It would be easy to feel admiration for the features and be able to fondly gush about the details about such unique and beautiful work, or types of building materials used. I would WANT to know, and it would be interesting and satisfying to learn all about it, if I were lucky enough to have that career handed to me on a silver platter. She does not have a love of knowing the details about the home(s) and wants to slide by without even minimal effort put into it. Heres a house, with a living room, dining room, 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a pool, and oh yeah, a kitchen. Its 7 millions dollars. Are you interested in buying it? That was about the extent of her ability to show a property. Has she not seen how others do it? It’s like she just walked off the street that day without any knowledge of how real estate is sold. Its obvious also, that Maurice favors Alexia above Farrah, so the bull about her being equally adored, are empty words. Farrah knows this, but has to pretend she is an equal family member to stay in the good graces of the family who expects her to defend Alexia’s huge shortcomings as a budding “realtor”. Farrah is instructed to confront her friend, and ‘set her straight’ about secretly giving Alexia a C grading, when she felt pressured into originally giving her a B+ grade in front of her (Which the inept Alexia literally boohoo’ed about because it wasn’t an A+ grade) of her house showing skills. I thought she deserved a D. She knew NONE of the details she should have, even if she put in the barest amount of studies on the houses facts and features. She took no notes during the initial walk thru. Maurice is scum for selling the house Farrah brought in the listing on and not even mentioning it had sold, to her afterwards. Isn’t she due something percentage $wise for bringing the listing? I guess step daughters get ripped off by greedy bastards who just don’t have enough millions to part with, and receive what is due to her. No wonder she barely cracks a smile. Shes got the Kardashian resting bitch face down pat, but she does seem like a very nice person who has to hold her tongue way more than she’d like, while being part of the show that basically revolves around little princess Alexia, Daddys favorite. It must be extremely aggravating for Farrah to be put in this position. I like Farrah from what I have seen of her though. It must be tough, pretending she believes she is an equal in step daddys heart. I see Maurice is trying to copy the “Million Dollar Listings” formula during the other half of the Alexis show time. That is a successful show which I find entertaining. Watching a show about Alexia getting a participation trophy without doing the work to earn it, is not entertaining. Two episodes is all I needed to know I do not want to watch it any further. Also it was very uncomfortably weird how Maurice outright stated it was an “incestuous” family business. Yep, thats the word he used. No wonder its shown on Netflix. Edited to add: Well, that was pretty blunt of me, and I wish I could be less critical of the show. I wasn’t expecting it to be a show which is focusing so much on the one daughter who is like a little Kyle clone. I hope she does well and takes advantage of all there is to learn from the many experts in the field she has around her. From what I’ve seen in just two episodes, I do hope it truly is her, being thrown into the deep end like Maurice says, and it will inspire quick incentive to grow towards success. I also should have known “drama” stupid made up personal drama would be a factor. I was hoping it was more about the actual BH ”real” estates, and mansions. Not a hard sell on Alexias adventures. Farrah sure is a good sport. Though her face doesn't show much movement, just knowing facial movement creates lines, (so the less movement, smiles and frowns, the better) ... you can see all the feelings Farrah has through her eyes and small movements. She was very professional, and I am sure she will excel in this career. Both young women are very beautiful and I wish them success, in all that matters. stewedsquash December 2, 2022 Share December 2, 2022 (edited) Random thoughts in one paragraph: I will watch this show just for the two main realtors, Jon and Ben with their sidekicks Joey and Brandon. It could have been about them with Alexia not even in the picture. Mauricio is interesting in his interactions. I like him and don't think he is greedy. He has built a business model and if the ones under him don't like it they can venture out. He seems open to change when issues are brought up. It might be the lighting or whatever but I swear that while I know Farrah is early thirties, 31/32?, I thought I was wrong because she looks to be in her early forties. I can't with her bowed out fingers with those claws. Not sure why Melissa is on the show. Or the woman who just had the baby. Seriously, just focus on Jon/Ben/Joey/Brandon, Farrah and her boyfriend (who is totally Coyote come to life (Grace and Frankie), Mauricio being high/hungover/trying not to look at Sonika's out there boobs because he knows Kyle will lose her mind while also making millions and growing his business and getting slobbery happy thinking about being a young grandpa, cameos every episode of Whitney Cummings. It's on the listing sheet and is in the MLS information. Anyone can look that up. The realtor should absolutely know the basic details of the home. If she doesn't know, she shouldn't guess with the sing-song uptick in her voice. So annoying! Alexia comes across unprofessional and clueless. Agree that Farrah looks older than her age. I don't think I could be a realtor, because sales and negotiating are NOT my thing, but I AM fascinated by architecture (though not so much the modern boxy concrete and glass behemoths that seem to dominate on these shows), and I'd love the opportunity to be a professional looky-loo! So much easier to remember the duller specs when you're interested in the building & materials. These young'uns don't know what they're being handed. I'd also be really embarrassed if I had screwed up a showing for a fellow experienced agent - not cool. Farrah seems much more serious-minded - nothing wrong with that. It is interesting to see the family dynamic playing out with the commission structure. I don't doubt that Mauricio was a great step-dad, but there does seem to be favouritism going on with his own offspring. I like most of the males on the show so far - esp. the dancer from Arizona - he seems more relatable because he came from a normal working-class background. Most of the female staff irritate me - especially the American Idol wannabe. I want to see houses and deals, I don't care about boyfriend drama. Alexia needs to do her homework and do better. 2 Link to comment
Sweet-tea December 8, 2022 Share December 8, 2022 (edited) Kyle must have a contract with RHBH prohibiting her from being on this show. They had a big party at their house, so surely she was around but not shown. I’ve seen this on several other occasions when Alexia or Mauricio is at the house. If Alexia wants to find herself and be taken seriously, perhaps she should start by moving out of her parents’ house and doing her own laundry. She drives a Porsche and is employed. Seems like she could at least afford an apartment. I think demonstrating some independence would go a long way in resolving her identity crisis and making her feel empowered. Too much was made of the Melissa grading Alexia incident. Not that big of a deal. Alexia did do a poor job. Farrah’s boyfriend wasn’t that receptive to the marriage talk was he? Seemed like he was kicking the can down the road. I don’t know if it’s the Botox or something else about Farrah’s face, but she looks sad or depressed much of the time to me. I can’t put my finger on it, but something seems off with her. Edited December 8, 2022 by Sweet-tea 3 1 1 Link to comment

A bio-dad who is pretty nonexistent, and a boyfriend who acts like he has a gun to his head to propose to her? No? 3 1 Link to comment

Sweet-tea December 10, 2022 Share December 10, 2022 Is Farrah still engaged or did they get married? I thought I remembered hearing Kyle talk about Farrah’s wedding on RHBH, but I don’t see anything online. I wonder if her boyfriend will actually marry her. I wish the show focused more on the agents who aren’t related to Mauricio. 1 Link to comment

I am so late to the party on this show. I just checked it out because of the recent Mauricio/Kyle separation drama. I honestly didn't even know it existed before. But BIG applause to the quoted post! Alexia is an absolute perfect example, textbook case of minimal effort, minimal interest. But I feel like this happens with other newbies on other real estate shows as well. The lure of a big paycheck supersedes a love and passion for real estate. If you have a genuine love of real estate, you would have no problem studying a home and passing on the details regarding architectural details, building materials, styles, to a potential buyer. Where is the interest with Alexia? The fact that she doesn't understand that the two go hand in hand is pretty astounding. It's like she truly believed she could just show up, giggle a lot and then collect a massive paycheck. 1 1 Link to comment

Crazydoxielady November 11, 2023 Share November 11, 2023 I am late to the party. Alexia is vapid, I can't stand her laugh or her voice. It goes right thru me. Focus on Joey, Jon, Ben and Brandon would have been great. This iteration isn't interesting. Mauricio is selfish. I feel for Farrah, between getting gyped on commissions, and a groom to be that is not into it. 1 Link to comment
Sweet-tea January 4 Share January 4 (edited) Does anyone know when the new season starts? This story says no premiere date has been announced. I saw another one that said late 2023. It seems like it would've been out by now. https://screenrant.com/buying-beverly-hills-season-2-update/ Edited January 7 by Sweet-tea Link to comment
QQQQ March 22 Share March 22 Farrah looks like cross between Kyle and Christina Ricci. Link to comment
hoodooznoodooz March 23 Share March 23 (edited) On the show, the The Orum Residence list price was $139,000,000. Then google shows the asking price was $56,000,000. Then they lowered the price to $42 million. Eric Wu purchased it for $32.2 million. Is this evidence that The Agency is one of the best real estate agencies in the world? hoodooznoodooz March 23 Share March 23 Sophia is even more entitled than Alexia. Alexia sounds like Kyle and has all the same mannerisms. Not one descendant of Big Kathy knows how to dress or understands color. 1 1 Link to comment

Right down to the awful hair (wtf is with the 2 pieces hanging in the front?!) Me thinks the “broken trust” between them that was discussed on Kyle’s show is that this year Mo is connecting the dots between the Agency and Hilton/Hyland. And gives zero fucks. I’m sure that didn’t make Kathy happy at all. Explains Paris’ recent putdown of his show too. But I’m here for it all!! Mo is much more watchable than his wife. And only a few episodes in but also enjoying the house porn on a real estate show (imagine that, actually showing houses!) 3 Link to comment
QQQQ March 23 Share March 23 Not sure if it was because of when their respective shows were filmed, but we definitely learned more about the breakup of Kyle and Mo's marriage in a few scenes during 10 BBH episodes than a zillion scenes during 20 RHOBH episodes. Also, it made RHOBH seem very fake in terms of their conversation with the children when the People story came out. (cross posting in RHOBH) 3 Link to comment
hoodooznoodooz March 23 Share March 23 (edited) Why are Kyle and Mau now living in the house that Alexia supposedly sold last season? Are they renting from whoever bought it? Or maybe I am confusing the last house they moved from with their current home. Alexia sold the house that Sutton rented from Kyle, maybe? Edited March 23 by hoodooznoodooz Link to comment

hoodooznoodooz March 24 Share March 24 They are in Miami. Sophia says, “I can’t wait to see some beautiful homes, go to the strip club, sit by the beach- -” Ben says, “Like father, like daughter.” Farrah, Alexia and Sophia look confused and startled and protest. Ben looks off to the side. 1 Link to comment

It obviously plays a HUGE part in what was shared. RHOBH started filming in February and ended at the end of May. BBH started during May and ended at the end of July. They both had pick ups, RHOBH in July when the news broke but BBH did pick ups as late as December 2023. 1 1 Link to comment
QQQQ March 24 Share March 24 (edited) Was there an explanation as to why the family meeting on RHOBH was presented as being such an emotional shock to the children when in reality they'd already had 'the talk' when the article came out while they were in Aspen? Or, for that matter, why there even was a second such meeting filmed? Again, knowing the timeline makes it look like Kyle was trying to produce the whole thing to increase ratings/sympathy, etc. Edited March 24 by QQQQ 1 Link to comment
