Is this a prediction or a promise?  I keep waiting for that golden ticket to ruin an episode.

Welll, you jinxed it.  Not unhappy Bosco was saved….but she was the right one to go home for all the reasons stated.  If you are going to fight for a role, you had better deliver.

I liked how Lady Camden reacted.   She decided there was a point to just move on, take the other role and slay its, which she did.

The only critique I didn’t get was Willow.  I thought her dancing / performance was mediocre.

I love Bosco, really I do, but I’m glad the judges finally called her out on the corset/panty/thigh high runway and her always…even in character…doing the Bosco brow.  And she honestly wasn’t that good in Moulin Ru, either…she’s damned lucky she got the golden chocolate bar.

My eyes went straight to Lady Camden every time she was on stage.  I just love her!

Still laughing that Bosco, of all the queens, was the one who didn't have the chocolate.  I don't know how she came up with her name, but the only Bosco I've ever heard of is the syrup.

Anybody else remember the jingle?

"I love Bosco, rich and chocolatey.  Chocolate flavored Bosco is mighty good for me!"

I thought the queens all did great in the Rusical.  It's getting harder and harder to eliminate someone (especially with the candy bar twist!). Maybe they should do another round of Snatch Game to weed out a few more challengers.  😉

Congrats to Lady Camden on  the win. That performance was everything.  I'm sure it felt great after the squabble about the roles.  I liked how Angeria gave her a pep talk, which helped her turn around her thinking.

I did not like Deja's runway look at all, and thought Willow fell short of her usual runway amazingness.  Bosco's was repetitive.  I think Angeria's look was stunning.

Fudge! We'll have all given up on planet Earth and migrated to the moon by the time this series finishes! Bosco was an early favourite of mine, but the signature eyebrows and lack of emoting or even just smiling in the dance numbers really killed the whole performance. Hooray for Lady Camden!

I thought Moulin Ru was the most entertaining challenge I’ve seen on this show in awhile, maybe all season. They did a great job. Loved Willow as the frantic green fairy. I found Bosco’s performance lackluster and uninspired, but appropriate in a way, because those are the same adjectives I would use to describe Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge. (Love the movie, but thought she was horribly miscast.)

Bosco was such a royal bitch in the casting process that her downfall was kind of satisfying. (Damn that gold bar.) You know you’re being awful when Daya Betty praises your behavior. Good on Angeria for taking the high road throughout, and for saying the right things to Lady Camden at the right time. That probably made a huge difference in her performance.

Ok I don’t understand why they said Salten was the lead lady C’s part seemed just as big…

Yeah, but I think part of the reason is Lady Camden made it seem bigger. Saltine is the focus of the action, but all Bosco saw in the role was sexiness, and seemed to think standing there and looking pretty was enough. This is not the first time we’ve seen a queen fall into the trap of underplaying a lead role, and I wonder if Lady Camden would have succumbed as well, since her take on the role was “romance”. She actually lucked out by getting the role she did, because it forced her to work to find the character.

Bosco’s attitude and approach shocked me to the point I was sorry she was saved.  And she totally misassessed her own abilities    Even Daya knew her limitations and picked a smaller role.

Camden was right and Bosco had to hit a home run, but she totally whiffed it.  I liked Angelia being supportive and helped Lady C get out of her head and see the role as a challenge.

I really enjoyed Moulin Ru and I usually think the musicals are awful. It seemed obvious after Bosco demanding the role that she would do poorly in it and Lady Camden would win. I like Willow but didn’t think she was great and didn’t like her runway.

I did love Bosco”s self awareness that yes Jorgeous was a “fav” of Rupauls and she had No chance of making it through but still did what she was supposed to do… 100% we see every season she plays favorites it’s good to have her call it out for what it is

Agree.  I didn’t get the tongue bath for Willow.

I did think the right two were in the bottom and Bosco lost the lip sync.  I would have been okay without the golden ticket and Bosco heading back to Seattle.

My hope is we finally get ride of one trick Jorgeous, boring and poorly dressed Deja and and Evil Daya in a triple elimination.

Do you hear me RuPaul?  Let's close this season out and crown Angeria the winner!

Willow is my fave, but I did not think she did enough with that role. It could have been the most fun sequence in the show, but she was dead in the face and didn't give the energy I wanted. I actually thought the whole show was really good (songs and script), but I had the same issue with a lot of the other girls too. The only ones who impressed me were Camden, Deja, and Daya.

I do love Bosco though, so I was really happy she had the golden bar. That was a really nice moment! Now please, no more non-elim episodes. End this.

Ha! So true.

Not that it was a big surprise or prediction, but I was all "that fucking gold candy bar better not show up". So of course it did. And let us never speak of it again.

Deja holds a mirror for the mirror runway. OK.

Her line about Jorgeous being on RuPaul's organ donor recipient list was hilarious!

So happy for Lady Camden!.

Credit where credit is due: I absolutely despise Daya back-stage and in her talking heads, but on-stage and on the runway she was good tonight (loved the KISS outfit).

Again, the editing and the producer’s rigging was so obvious that my husband announced thirty minutes into the show (and we were watching it on first airing): “Bosco and Jorgeous in the bottom two, Bosco gets eliminated but has the golden chocolate bar” and was exactly right.  C’mon producers and editors say it with me now: less predictability please!

Thank god that damned chocolate bar is gone.  If Ru pulls some “shantay you both stay” bullshit next episode I may throw my television set through the window.

The costumes for the Rusical were, if not custom made, at least custom fitted….so who hated Bosco?  She was the lead, and they dressed her in that?   Did she piss off wardrobe!

I assumed they had brought outfits from home, so how do Bosch and Camden fight over a role, and Camden has that ringleader outfit with her? Hmmmm. Anyway, Camden slayed, I love her.

I’m glad they called out Bosco’s eyebrows and panty and bra repeats. Her body is sickening but really, she needs to step up or finally be eliminated. I’m not getting why she gets a lot of love from fans.

Things happen and a queen is eliminated

This episode description didn't age well.

Glad Bosco was saved because she's my fave, although I definitely don't see her winning.

Bosco was right, winning Snatch Game would not automatically give Deja first pick. I would have liked someone to have countered her (because I'm here for cat fights and drama).

Seemed like Leslie has a crush on boy Jorgeous.

I found the Rusical delightful, which cannot be said about all of them (I can't rewatch the Trump one, for instance). I would've loved to have seen Lady Camden's take on Saltine, sure, because she was correct there needed to be an air of romance going on. Perhaps "vulnerability" would be better to say. Bosco comes off super confident all the time, which is great normally, but more range was needed in the role. Also, considering it's a burlesque girl, I'm really surprised Bosco didn't put in more flirty gestures and teases. Burlesque! Art of the tease!

However, it was delightful to see Lady Camden just tear it up, and Leslie Jordan made me giggle every time he was on camera. Had no idea about his drag past.

I thought Deja slayed her rap, but it's true on reflection she didn't stand out otherwise. I thought Daya's Kiss outfit was great -- for Kiss cosplay. I'm all in on genderfuck drag, but she didn't come off draggy. Just a Kiss stan. Angeria's runway was gorgeous. Jorgeous wore a new wig, but his runway looked the same otherwise? Idk. I have LOVED hearing how ninja and kung-fu movies have informed Jorgeous's dancing just as much as pop music. That's something we don't hear enough about on Drag Race, and I'm into it.

I don't think Willow Pill has the same range of facial motion necessarily? As part of her condition? Either way, I thought she did great and still Lady Camden deserved the win.

It's true Bosco's looks are repetitive, but this one was the best by far. I'm glad she's still here! I also think I'm starting to go all in on Lady Camden.

What's interesting is that even if the roles were reversed, I think the outcome would have been the same. Lady Camden just would have owned either role. Her Emcee was just head and shoulders above anyone else's performances and I knew 5 second in she was going to win.

As soon as Bosco stepped on the stage with the same eye makeup as the last challenge I knew it was not going to go well and she was in over her head. They were also right to call her out for what is basically the 4th runway where she is wearing the exact thing, just with different material. While she was a really good look, it was still a distant third behind Angeria and Lady Camden, who's looks seemed to be much more thought out and complicated than the rest. That Angeria dress, OMG!

Is anyone else distracted by Daya's wide open mouth and tongue? Reminds me of Tina Burner from season 13 who's schtick wore thin rather quickly. Daya is giving me the same vibe this season.

Deja's outfit was mess (as have been a lot of her looks)! I'm surprised she wasn't in the bottom. I guess her 10 second rap saved her.

I love Leslie Jordan and was so happy to see him as director.  He is such a positive person and seemed to really appreciate what the queens were bringing. I took his comment about being a drag queen in Atlanta  as being a set up for the joke:  his name was Baby Wipes!

Leslie Jordan is a national treasure and we should all appreciate that - though I don’t think he gave the queens any pertinent advice in the ‘director’ role and isn’t it a conflict of interest to have him STAR in the Rusical as well?

Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and HUBRIS, hunty.  don’t care how manufactured this episode was, I was LIVING for Bosco fighting so hard for the role and then flopping.  I just wish that damn chocolate hadn’t come into play.

Lady Camden absolutely deserved her win and I am thrilled for her.

(I do think it was odd to have two very significant roles played by NOT queens.)

And calling out Jorgeous as being on Ru’s organ donor list may be one of my favorite reads of all time.  We get it, she’s gorgeous, she’s perfect, she looks just like a queen with minimal talent who gets the maximum of praise for a nominal amount of talent.

So, have we just eliminated the runway as part of the judging criteria for this season or…?  Bosco?  Basic!  And repetitive!  I also didn’t see what others saw in Daya’s look.  Deja?  Also terrible!

Ross Matthews used to be my mortal enemy back in the day but I have grown to like him a lot as a judge and am looking forward to his roast next week, though I think it will be be hard to top Got’Miik’s “you’re the only guy I know who watches porn and c*ms when the pizza gets delivered!”

Leslie actually did do drag when he was very young, as Miss Baby Wipes - he talks about it in his book (a fun read). Here’s an article that touches on it as well: https://bittersoutherner.com/southern-perspective/2020/beforetv-leslie-jordan-was-miss-baby-wipes

I've always thought there is an extra day of rehearsals, prep, and blocking that we are just not shown. There's no way these things get put together with just one choreo meeting. And there's no way a queen could bring a potential costume for every role in every challenge like this, so the costume folks may look at what a queen brought and see what they can work with, and then custom create stuff from either a vast drag wardrobe or make it on the spot. How would Willow know to bring fairy wings and an all green outfit? And way back in the Glamazon Airways challenge, everyone matched but some outfits didn't seem to fit very well.  I'm sure they have each queen's size and measurements beforehand as well.

If Jorgeous had stayed over Bosco in the end, I would have been so mad. Just based on overall record, not just about this challenge or lipsync. Right now, I want elims to go Daya, Jorgeous, Deja, then Bosco, with Lady Camden, Willow, and Angeria as the final 3.

My take on Daya and Bosco (and Jorgeous, TBH) is if you were to see them perform live, you would be impressed by their talent. I’m sure each of them knows how to put on a show. But in a competition where they have to show range and versatility, they’re just not matching up. Which is why all of them need to go. Triple elimination, please?

The most frustrating thing about this show is never knowing how the judges are going to rule. Will they call out somebody for wearing, essentially, the same outfit week after week (looking at you Bosco and Deja)? Maybe? Depends on who it is I guess. I get that Ru has her favs but the other regular judges are not consistent either.

Ross was a weird color this week.

I thought it was funny when Lady Camden said she was going butch because she played those absolute icons and pillars of masculinity: Bill Shakespeare and Freddy Mercury lol.

I find Willow to be really awkward-seeming in any performance that requires dancing. Her lip-sync in the tourney was not good at all.

I'm so ITA with so many of you re: this ep. I still like Bosco  though, maybe this lights a fire under her ass. I'm still cheering for her, Camden, Angeria and Willow. I'm pleasantly surprised that I liked this musical, its been a long while since a Ru-sical did not annoy me or make me angry.

Leslie Jordan is beyond adorbs. Four feet eleven inches of pure joy. Also love Andra Day and she had some really good observations about the musical and runway.

I think Willow is another favorite of Ru's, but I'm kind of glad as I'm not ready to see her go yet. I think the competition is wearing on her. She seems tired and it is showing with a lack of expression and general energy in the work room. She also did not bring the enthusiasm to the Rusical that the others did. I had her as a front runner, but I fear she might not have the endurance. Still loving Lady Camden and Angeria.
