As much as I like this family, I have seen some very good points made here regarding the kids on TV, i.e., it is not good for them.

So, I think the short season and long hiatus is a good thing. However, I have no frame of reference for how much time it takes for filming, so I don't really know how it all plays out for the family. Maybe someone else knows how much time is spent actually making the show.

Jen has tweeted that they will have a new episode on this Tuesday November 4th at 10E/9C. It sounds like a single episode thing.

I'm glad because March is a long way off and I'v been wondering about the progress Will & Jen have made.

My tv guide didn't list it on Tuesday but then Jen tweeted this update:

Our new season isn't starting yet, but you can tune in to 19 Kids & Counting this Tues,10pm ET for a behind the scenes look at our Halloween

Don't see anything on my DVR about tomorrow night.  But if you follow the 'sneak peek' link from their FB page there is a 3 min video with a synopsis of the upcoming season.  Bill's back surgery looks like a major plotline.  http://www.thewrap.com/tlcs-little-couple-to-return-in-december-exclusive/

Will is also 'crying a lot in school' per his teacher and it looks like Will is still favoring Bill heavily.  Jen says something like how 'mommy is your friend too'.  Will's speech still seems quite delayed, unfortunately.

I don't know if I even want to admit this ... but watching the 3 minute upcoming video makes me actually want to watch this show.

I don't do reality tv ... but this might get me started.  ::giggle::

Those kids are cute!  They have happy smiles!  I have back issues, so I can totally relate to Bill, poor guy, that isn't fun.  I feel like I am getting invested in them, oh, that is scary.  HA!

I didn't watch the show in real time but saw some repeats here and there. Now TLC is re-running them before Duggars in the AM so I'm catching up on the history of their struggles to complete their family. I'm really now interested too in seeing the new episodes - in real time.

They were dressed in red western/cowpoke wear (I suppose as an homage to Texas).  Jen was micromanaging as usual, directing Will to carry the plastic pumpkin...  When Will's back was turned to the camera, a clear "Thank you!" rang out, and we're to believe it was him saying it (I bet dimes to donuts it was dubbed in by a TLC staffer; same old tricks).  The kids were later shown sitting in their side-by-side high chairs eating candy.   Zoey said, "Happy Halloween!" pretty distinctly and with her beautiful smile, but Will seems distracted and miles behind her developmentally, as well as none too happy.  So it looks like things are much the same as when we last saw them!  Jen's (lightened blonde) hair is getting longer, and Bill has dyed his orange/red again.

Anyone know what the back surgery was, exactly?  I would assume a laminectomy, or disc removal, but could be wrong.

It looks from that "wrap" video like a whole lot of filming has been going on during their break from filming!

Not quite sure if this is the video, but I think they are both adorable, and look happy!

I didn't see the video on Facebook, but did see the commercial during 19 Kids and Counting. I just thought, poor kids, lights, camera, action. It couldn't possibly be the same as it was for all the little children that came to my house trick or treating. It's a little sad.

The kids are very cute and both kids appear on a sugar high!

I did notice at the beginning of the clip how much both Will and Zoey kept looking at the cameras.  It was like they got asked a question by Bill and Jen then both looked over at the cameras before answering and it happened twice I think.  I thought they would be more used to the filming by now.  And I watched the Gotcha Day episode of Will this morning.  TLC is airing older episodes to bring us up to date for Dec 2's new season start.  In the hotel room both Jen and Bill are trying to get Will into the bedroom but he is fixated on the tv and already has the remote in his hand!  Typical man!  LOL  And he keeps looking at something or someone else in the room which must be the cameras and they finally get him into the bedroom but the whole time he is looking back as the tv which is still on and that seemed odd not to turn off the distraction.  In the bedroom he keeps looking at the camera guy which we now know was over in the corner of the room from when the Q&A episode and we saw him.  They told us then how the cameras didn't bother Will but I saw differently on that episode this morning.

So long story short I guess I wonder why the kids are still so "aware" of the cameras.

Anyone else see it today?

I did not get to see the clip but I think it would be kind of strange not to notice a camera crew. I did see Jen's new hair on a magazine or something and love it. Looks good on her.

Can't wait to see the kids, don't you know they have grown!

Another update, this one has a very cute picture of Will smiling.  He has one of those smiles that his whole face lights up.  I wish I had that.  ::giggle::

Will has a great smile!  He also has a LOT of teeth!  Wow!

TLC true to form are airing reruns leading up to Dec 2!

I've been watching the reruns, with Jen nervously giggling away and WIPE, WIPE, WIPING Will's face and hands...  It's a good thing those kids have such a laid-back and relaxed adoptive father, is all I have to say...  Looking forward to seeing what changes the new season brings, if any!

I know I was like that at one point.  In fact, I was so over the top with being a first time Mom, I look back at it now and even laugh at myself.

This commercial has nothing to do with The Little Couple, but I know I was like this, and I know others have been too ... when the second one comes along, things change.

It's just for a laugh.  Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Very cute video!  I think Jen's issue with wiping is a bit different though.  I am sure being a doctor and just having to get on with cleaning up an area you are working on so you can continue your work in spite of an infant's distress is most of it but it is Bill's face that says there is more behind her behavior than being a new mom and Jen's reference to to her "ocd tendencies."

Zoey does not appear to have achondroplasia at least in comparison to Will.  She still looks like a very small toddler girl to me.  Will's head appears bigger to me since last season and I know this is one of the achondoplasia symptoms.  Could Zoey have been mis-diagnosed? Will's speech appears to be improving, and Zoey speaks and repeats very well!

They were very upfront about getting genetic testing for Will and then showed the specialist confirming that he indeed had achondroplasia (it was the episode in which Will kept licking Bill's fingers), but Zoey's diagnosis has been kept a mystery, for some reason!  She does indeed seem to be just a miniature version of a perfectly proportioned person with no noticeable developmental delays.  But boy, is she scowling on Jen's lap as the promo comes to a close!

Maybe they just don't know yet. According to the bastion of information that is Wikipedia, there are hundreds of varieties of dwarfism with achondroplasia being the most common.  Looking at Jyoti Amge (from American Horror Story), she seems similar to Zoe in that she just seems like a regularly proportioned woman who is just very small.  Jyoti reportedly also has achondroplasia.

I'm clearly late to the party and need to catch up on this thread, but I just wanted to say I'm happy to have this back as one thread, I don't really see myself as either extreme, I like them but I don't agree with everything they say/do. That's actually why I haven't kept up with this thread.

Just wanted to add the guy helping will jump in the pool in the preview is not completely unfortunate looking... And I'm from Houston... I'm just saying (even though I'm probably too old for him)

I am pretty much in the same boat. I certainly don't view them as being perfect, either as people or parents for they are human after all and they will and do and can make mistakes and screw up.

But I also think that we certainly never get the "whole story" from the show which is why I often give them a pass on certain situations or circumstances, and I am also glad they keep a good bit of their personal lives out of the media and off the show, plus now that they're parents they are in uncharted territory and they are learning how to be "Mom" and "Dad", and that doesn't just happen over night, or even over 18 years heh.

This coming season has me grinning already. I can't get enough of Will's smile and seeing Zoey bloom is a joy.

She reminds me of one of my nieces who let's every single emotion she feels play out across her face. She has no poker face whatsoever to speak of, heh, and she's been that way since she was a baby. Now she's 43 and not a thing has changed over the years.

I agree, perhaps Zoey's condition isn't as easily pinned down and so they're still finding boxes they can tick off for her, or even un-tick if that may be the case.

But I have no doubt that they are keeping themselves well informed about whatever type of dwarfism Zoey has, and personally I think it's nice to see that they are dealing with the kids' conditions on a case by case basis.

Thought some of you might find this interesting:

On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, an estimated 250,000 Houstonians turned out for the 65th annual Thanksgiving Day parade sponsored by H.E.B., along with dozens of other sponsors and contributors. Under the sub-theme of “Houston is Family, Grand Marshalls were Dr. Jennifer Arnold, Bill Klein and their children, Will (4) and Zoey (3), stars from TLC’s television series The Little Couple. They graciously greeted the crowd and thanked everyone for “braving the cold.” The weather was a bit chilly (around 45) by Houston standards, but sunny with almost no wind, so light jackets sufficed.

Yes Jen tweeted all day showing pics of her and Bill on the float!  I guess they thought the kids wouldn't last on the float for any length of time in the cold plus being bored so it was great Judy and Dave kept them on the sidelines.

Jen uses Twitter a lot!  It's almost SHOWTIME FOLKS!

Hi everyone!

The link is back. BizBuzz did some research and talked with some of you to discover it's a legitimate TLC storefront. Feel free to discuss and thank you for being patient. I really thought it was a bootleg site!
